Genesis 45;7

But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

This is what God does for the Israelites time after time. He preserves a remnant of them. He brings them out of sin because they cried out to him. Why am I saying this even though this verse is a specific reference, because it can apply to you. God will save you if you cry out to him.

Genesis 28:15

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and will watch over you wherever you go, and, I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you.

This verse has been repeated somewhat in other verses in the later part of the Bible. 'I will be with you always', God will never leave you, never forsake. So if you ever feel utterly alone, this is the perfect verse to remind you that you aren't.

Genesis 12:2-3

2"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

There is so much you can get from these verses. The verses are a prophecy to Abraham, but it also applies to you.

Genesis 9:6

"Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.

Do not think that this verse is saying that any death is privy to this punishment, it is talking about murder. For a murder has shed innocent blood, so their is also to be shed by another.

Genesis 4:7

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.

I think that this verse is saying that you will be accepted for doing what is right, but if you do not, your folly will lead to you being controlled by sin.

Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head and you will strike his heel.

This verse is part of the punishment God put on Adam, Eve, and the "snake", Satan. I think that this is also a prophecy of Satan killing Jesus on the cross and Jesus having saved all of our sins because of it.

Genesis 2:23-24

23 The man said,"This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman', for she was taken out of man." 24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

When your relationship, you should be committed. It shouldn't be just "dating". You should be looking for the one you are willing to spend the rest of your life with, not just someone to spend the rest of the night with. It should be heartfelt.

The old favorite, the first in the Bible the last to be remembered, know by all forgotten by many. Yet, it is an extremely important verse because of how bluntly it disproves every theory that states that the earth was created by any other means, making it invaluable to point any intelligent design believer in the right direction.
