$75,000 USD Swarovski Crystal Toilet

2012-05-19T12:55:00.001-07:00

Incredible hand set Swarovski Crystal Toilet, it is called the Isis and is available in 40 different colours of gem. Creation of Jamal Wright Bath Designs. Simply stunning, I actually love it to be honest, if only I had that kind of money to burn!

Photographer Hugo Arturi takes on this shoot for Fashion Gone Rogue. Think "Baroness" - I love the darkness, the plays on light and the drama. Styled by Jenni Hensler. Retro Modern to a tee.

Unusual Basins!

2012-05-16T14:29:00.002-07:00

There are so many aspects to enjoy in Interior Design, we all love a well put together room, but sometimes it is fun to focus on just one element. I was at my hairdresser last weekend, and the bathroom there featured a floating glass bowl sink, and it got me thinking, in my dream home I have no desire to have that plain old white sunken basin that is so common in most homes, even brand spanking new homes, no no give me stand out! Give me unique! And so began to search for unusual and inspiring sinks. Enjoy x

Dani Seitz for Lida Baday

2012-05-14T14:20:00.002-07:00

What strikes me about this Campaign, photographed by Chris Nicholls, is the incredible mane of hair, who wouldn't want these locks. Not to mention her beautiful in my opinion pixie face, has an air of innocence without being childish, almost elvish perhaps, regardless; great tones in this shoot, I like everything about it.

Wood Casting Furniture by Hilla Shamia

2012-04-20T13:14:00.000-07:00

I think these chairs/tables are absolutely stunning, I have enformed by boyfriend he needs to learn how to do such things, take one tree trunk, add cast iron, and watch the burn and contrast creating these stunning features that dabble in between the natural and clean artificial, perfecto! These are items that will certainly be talking pieces in any home.

These particular pieces are produced through the talents of Hilla Shamia who says: “The negative factor of burnt wood is transformed into aesthetic and emotional value. Preservation of the natural form of the tree trunk within the explicit boundaries. The general, squared form intensifies the artificial feeling, and in the same time keeps the memory of the material”.

Buckingham Interior Design's Showroom and Office Space

2012-04-18T14:33:00.002-07:00

Not only is this the showroom for Buckingham Interior Design's in Chicago, it is also there office space, now I am lucky to work in a designers office, so it's rather nice, but this is fabulous. Such interesting and well put together spaces. As some of you may know I plan to eventually start my own company, I cannot wait to design my office space. So exciting!
