This past weekend i went to a concert, i came out alive. During the concert i got squashed by a million groupies. I thought to myself that this is not where i wanna be at in the future because i didnt see no asians there. The amostphere was unexplainable, the people surrounding me were die-hard fans who needed a life. One guy yelled to a lead singer "you are god among men" with pride, i kinda felt sorry for his ass. But other than that the music was good me and my friend got our moneys worth by being really close to the stage. No more floor sit concert again, too many crazy people with no brains. I saw people past out from either too much booze or the heat.

I really dont know what to write about the mlk computers because i never used it. The reason i never use them is because i always have my laptop and use their wifi. It beats waiting for a computer because i always see the computers being occupied.

I just got a itouch and its so convienant. There are soo many applications that are so usefull. It is especially great since i get them for free, why waste money when you can get it for free. Makes life easier on my part. BTW a friend introduce me to this new place to eat called chipotle its awesome because the rice plate is really good depending what you are into.

Finals are happening in these two next weeks im really stressed out. I need to pass my classes so i can advance on with more challeging classes. My next semester classes are gonna be more difficult because i will be taking more classes if everything goes according to plan. Iam waitlisted for 4 of my 6 classes but in the single digits. Other things are stressing me out but i will find a way to handle it.

Ch 11 Be a great money manager

Chapter 11 is about managing money and how to use resource that help save money. It is suggested that we all know where all income is going and look at all the ways to cut on spending money on useless stuff. The best place the money should go to is the bank in checkings and savings so we can keep track of it. Also important is to understand how credit works because if you dont know how to keep up with the system then you could be in debt which is really bad. #1 Rule DO not go in DEBT!

Muse workshop 2

The second workshop was with Justin in-class, it was very informative especially when registrating for class was very soon. The whole class learned how to sign up for classes and how to specificly for GE classes. Justin also informed the class about the unit cap and how many units a full time student would be considered.

The first muse workshop i attended was How manage money as a college student, At the first workshop many of the students who attended the workship learned the various ways to save money. For example instead of eatting out all the greasy food, one could stay home and make food, which would save alot of money. Also the one advice that stood alot to me was is that item a want or a need which makes a very big difference. Now when i look at something in the store i ask myself if its a want or a need. That advice has saved me alot of money.

Slot machines sucks its like a tornado it sucks you up and throws you out into a worst condition. i have experienced it and plan on never hitting the slots machine in my life.

For the interview we had two special geusts from the peer mentor center come in during class. The whole class had to come up with a few questions for them to answer, which can be heard in the previous post. The interview was pretty informative but a little boring. They presented to class about the next few years at SJSU. Its not looking to bright because of fanancial problems happening with SJSU. SJSU is currently the most broke university in the csu system and they are in debt alot of money. If the school would go bankrupt theres no other choice but to go to a jc would really sucks. The senior gave the class advice about getting any job right now because not alot of other jobs are going to hire. She is a senior and she got rejected by mcdonalds would shows how bad the econmoy is.

So ill start of with the fact my computer is really slow after downloading norton 360 its suppose to protect my computer but is it really worth when it laggs it really bad. i dont know if im gonna keep it. Windows 7 just came out so i might just get that for my computer. Thats it for now

Sharing is very important and it shows character in a person. Sharing helps people make friends, no matter what you share it helps, for example you can share your knowledge with others or even a piece of candy and it would be a great way to start a relationship with anyone. Having friends is considered networking because you know all these people and in time they will be able to help you when called upon. Being a business major it is important to network with others because more connections in life means more succesion.

How To remenber: I frequently forget alot of material learned but some strategies i think help me remenber would be, post its, flash cards, and looking over notes 2-3 times a day. What helps me remenber best would most likely review the notes 2-3 a day, i would look over it till i know it like the back of my hand. Flashcards are good too im starting to use that technique, i never knew how much it would help. And those are my strategies in remenbering stuff.

My Effective Study Stragies to succeed in College!!!!
I know when i function best which 2 hours after i wake up and i schedule study sessions accordingly to my energy level. My study enviroments are very quiet but i tend to steer off topic. I frequently review classwork 30mins prior to class if i forget what i learned. i love to cram the night before class!

I hardly ever find myself zoning but it depends on the how bored+tired i am. i would say i am a 7 at mindful on a day-to-day basis. When i enjoy the topic and dont feel lazy than that is when im in top form of a mindful manner. Boring situations encourage me to be mindless. When mindless i usally lose alot of important knowledge. Too stay mindful i probly would have to eat or drink something to keep me energerize.

In doing another self assesment i discovered thati have a consumer style of critical learning. Which means im good at gathering info but dont tent to fare as well when the thinking challegne goes beyond memorization. I say this assesment is accurate because it definately represents my thinking.

The major im currently considering is business. The intelligence that fits best with business would be math skills and orginzation skills. auditory learning works best in the major.I think critical learning or active learning would suit the best learning process. My personality does lend itseld to the demands of business. I think it might be the right major but i wont know unless i go out there and try it.

For this chapter i did self-assessment 1 and found out my intelligence Profile was Intrapersonal and my least intelligence profile is Spirtual. My profile leads me to jobs such as novelist, phychologist, philosopher and etc. Which is wierd cause i never thought of those jobs for my future.

I have been to many speeches, most are boring but usally well organized and informative ot the audience. Bad speeches are ones that are very akward between the guest and the guest speaker, for example when they go off topic or when they dont even know a thing about what theyre presenting.When watching this speeches, i feel mad, and bored for wasting my time on non-important information. But if the speakers want to know make up and improve on their next speech they should be more organized and entertaining as well as informative to the audience.

This chapter is basically about getting ready for college writting, and your writting skills. Basically i have dont have alot of strengths in writing which makes my blog suckass. But when i usally do papers i get good comments about writting a good introduction which is ok. But weaknesses in writting wieghs more than strengths. Most of the time my essays need more summary which i lack alot at because i dont know what to say. Some strategies that could help is getting special help at a tutoring place like the muse center or LDC which im already in.

My current Strengths for time management is i can be very punctual for important things such as meetings, get togethers and classes. But some weaknesses are i get easily sidetracked from work for example i would be doing homework and i see something intersting i would put off homework and watch tv until that show/movie is over then work on homework. Another weakness would be i get bored very easily which makes it hard to focus on the material in front of me. To adress my weaknesses i would probly do work in an area without any tv or anything distracting best place for that would probly be the library where alot of other people do their work too.

I spend alot of time on the computer looking at random stuff mostly on youtube. I spend alot of time driving in my car looking for something to. And i spend alot time in front of the tv or napping when i have much other important things to do. I spend little time on reading books and studying materials in class. So that means next week ill spend alot more time reading and doing homework instead of watching tv and napping my ass off. This exercise is suppose to help me with time management and procrastination which is what im really good at. i must say im a super procrastinator one of my worst habits to have in college. I usally tend to put hard work off before all the fun stuff. So one of my goals for college is to get rid of this bad habit so i can make life a bit easier.

In this self-Assessment there was 20 questions that had to do with loneliness and i answered all the question and put all the numbers in the but got a bit confused about how to tally this crap up so im just gonna say that i usally have people around me, pretty outgoing person. Rarely every feel isolated from others. If i known how to tally it correctly i think i woould score 60-69 which is likely experience quite a bit of loneliness.

1)i live with my family so they wouldnt count as roomates, sucks kinda wish i had a roomate to chill with and talk about issues with.
2) Theres many times that have been discriminated but not in a mean more like a funny joking way. I would usally be discriminated because i was asian and i alway eat rice or im really good in math.But too bad not everything is not true i wish i was good in math.
