I trust that nobody reads my blog because I had to let this one out...

PS: If there's a single soul reading and don't want to be surrounded with negativity, skip this.

You see, I've been in a deep bowl of shit for the last half of December 2011. I broke my arm, got an operation, metal and screws inserted in to help the bone heal, and lost the movement of my right hand. Online, I make it sound like 'oh, it's okay nothing to worry about' but in reality I feel really, really scared. A time like this makes me think of the future.. or is there still one. What if the rehab won't work? What if I won't be able to move my right hand again? What will be my future? For someone studying computers, how the hell am I going to type? How would I, literally and figuratively, feed myself? It all goes down to how scary life is, how scary the world is. And the scariest part is when the people in your foundation are the ones who remind you of how deep you are in this shit that you may or may not survive. Yup, it sucks when that happens... especially on new year's eve. Right now, I do not know what to make of anything, but everything looks so blur.

A yellow watermelon.

Today is one of those days that I would find something interesting in our fridge. Seriously, a yellow watermelon? How cool is that? I haven't tried eating it though, so I don't know how it taste like. ㅋ But trust me, it's edible.

Anyway, this unusual thing made me ponder about my previous blog entry. So even things of the norm, for an instance, could actually break out and be something different.

1000 Days.

Even though I started in this U-Kiss fandom on their 525th day, I never felt alien. Okay maybe when I was still starting to appreciate them, it was hard to adjust to a new, and younger fandom. I've been a Rain fan for 5 years before deeply getting attached to another idol. You see, that crowd is much more older, cannot the say the same thing about maturity though. Anyway, onto the real purpose of this entry...

I was browsing Naver when I learnt of 2PM also having their 1000-day celebration. How 'bout that, huh? If you compare the popularity of 2PM and U-Kiss, you'd never imagine they were in the entertainment field for the same period of time. Considering the number of awards the former has gained, and the absence of those for the latter, naturally I felt sad. Why can't they get their break? What other things could they have done in order to be recognized? Why are they more popular overseas? Why can't they win?

Without a doubt, I know every single Kiss Me out there must have asked themselves the last question. Why? The boys have talents, they work hard to achieve their dreams. I must admit, there are many reasons for this seemingly wasted effort. Let's not even get to the topic of their management. -.-

Vocals. I love Alexander and KiBeom, I will slaughter you if you dare say otherwise, but if I were to compare their singing abilities with AJ and Hoon, then no doubt, I'd go for the latter duo. When the Alexander and KiBeom left, people said U-Kiss lost their identity, they lost their ubiquitousness. Yes, they may have, at some point, lost a bit of those, but as per the saying, Change is the only thing permanent in this world, these singers need to face the inevitable for them to grow. They're in the entertainment world, you snooze, you lose. It has been 2 years and still... well you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, think outside of your age and then we'll talk.

That's for one, the other, however, I salute you chingu.

The fandom of today. SME, YGE, JYPE. Most of the time, people would only appreciate the singers from these godfather agencies. "SME forever!" "YGE family only!" "JYPE number one!" If you're one of those who think this way, then get your ass outta here. I feel so sad for what the fandoms have become these days. Immature, young fangirls fighting for the wrong cause. Because of this mentality, a lot of talented singers are being overlooked.

So... with a new set of vocals, strength, and heart, I hope they'll be able to achieve that sweet number one spot. We're not asking for much, not even an all kill. Just one one.

Intensity Concert 100911 - U-KISS

I am just so so blessed that all of a sudden, U-Kiss (originally, it was MBLAQ) was announced to be appearing at the concert along with Rain. I've bought the ticket waaaay before the decision was altered because of course, it's Rain. Bought it even before the long-awaited confirmation from JTune was revealed. ㅎㅎ

For five years, I've waited for this man to grace my motherland with his wet...err, concert performance. I guess all those years will finally come to an end in September 11...I hope. ㅋ

You see, it's like this: until now KR side still hasn't confirmed anything (they basically denied everything concert-related) while PH side (meaning, the sponsors, media-partners, etc.) is already selling tickets. I also recorded the interview but I know someone else will beat me to it so I'll just be uploading the performance~ :) Actually, I didn't know that their segment will air today, just read some tweets a few minutes before the show starts. XD

Watching the show makes me miss them even more. They looked so tired because they went to record for Master Showman right after their mall show at SM Clark ~o~ Now they're even more stressed 'coz of Mworago and concert preparations. THE FRIGGIN' FAKE LASHES IS VISIBLE.

And I don't like the macho dance at the chorus. Ugck

It just doesn't fit the concept. The song is good, really. I LOVE IT. You can feel the sadness just by the sound of his voice and the way he sang it, full of emotions that makes up the whole song. But the dance...err, let's say that Rain had pulled off dance moves to ballad songs before like with Nan, In My Bed, etc. before but with this one... the dance failed to define the emotions. What it did was give me the macho dancer feel, the cheap one, sorry. ><

I was just thinking, maybe it's because of the album cover that made my reaction for the MV negative? Because he looks gay (let's face it, he does) in the album cover. And while watching the part of the MV where he tore off his shirt and danced macho, somewhere in my brains must've been shouting about the album cover look? I dunno... for me it affected the act a bit. Thinking that this man could be wearing false lashes under that cap while dancing sexy... just eww.

Still, that's better than the song itself getting the negative comments

Then came the autograph signing session a.k.a H.E.A.V.E.N.

We went out of the barricaded area just as soon as MMHN was finished. Of course we wouldn't want to meet the boys in our current state. I was literally soaked in my own and others sweat. -_- I was texting my friend Pau earlier and found her amongst thousands of people. I approached her to exchange greetings and also saw some CloudPH friends, Tita Ruby, Tita Chie, Ate Lou, Ate Ella, and later on Ate Cha, who were with her. But since Pam and I looked like trash after the show, we needed to at least fix ourselves before approaching the boys, so we excused ourselves and went to the CR. When we got out of the comfort room, they were already calling numbers 51-100 (but we still had time to do a mini photo op with the flowers on Pau's camera XD) so we rushed our way back into the Death Zone and lined up just in time. Something good: while making our way to the line, people were commenting how beautiful the flowers are. Awww hehehe. I think we're the only ones who gave them flowers that day. :)

Pam and I lined up to wait for our turn, when the staff told us to write our names on a piece of paper already so we don't have to spell it for the boys. Then it was almost our turn and Pam suddenly can't find her control number. I wanted to help her search but I have to go up the stage to get my CD signed.

OK MEMORIES STARTS FLOODING IN BIG TIME. XD

PS: I conversed with them in pure Korean. Fail korean, but still, what matters is that we understood each other. LOL

First was DongHo. I greeted him "Annyeonghaseyo~" and he said the same thing. I handed him my CD, already opened on his page but he told me that they were told to just sign the first page and I asked him if he can't sign there (while pointing at his page), and he said no~ so I just complied. I told him not to be angry at YeoSeob for stealing his cuteness but I don't know if he managed to understand it. The crowd is still.... XD I said "멋있어요 진짜~ (You're really cool~)" and he replied "좋아해요~ ^-^ (in that context, I think it means 'Thank You'?)" KYAAA he was SOOO cute saying that line!

Second was Eli. After DongHo handed the CD to Eli, I remembered that I haven't shaken DH's hand yet so I turned to him while Eli was signing my CD and said, "악수요 오빠~! (Handshake oppa~!)" and extended my hand, he shook it. I can hear Eli and KiBeom saying "Uuuwaaahaha!" Either they were really amazed that I spoke in Korean or that I ignored Eli. XDD Then I faced him and told him that he's really cool and he said Thanks~.

Third was KiBeom. I turned to him and he said "Let's shake hands first!" LOL because of what happened with DongHo so we shook hands and told him that he's really cool and he said 고마워요~ (Thank you~) (sad parts omitted :'( ) then forgetting that we just shook hands, I asked him to shake hands again. He looked confused for a moment but we still shook hands. XD

Fourth was KiSeob. I didn't have much to say to him because I honestly don't know much about him so I just told him he's cool and he said thanks~ lol Sorry KiSeob.. I just found out how amazing you are after you've boarded your plane back to Korea. T,T

Fifth was Xander. Now this guy...is literally a sunflower. He's so bright! XDD He's so cheerful I don't even know where he gets his energy from. LOL he greeted me with so much energy in his voice which made me do the same like...really, I imitated his tone without knowing. XD He said "Hello~" and of course I was planning on saying Annyeong but unknowlingly, I said "Hello~!" too him too. See how his brightness affected me? XDD Anyway, I wanted to tell Xander more because of his and Daddy A's Twitter but I can't keep focus because KEVIN IS ALREADY NEXT! XDDD So I just said the same thing I said to KiSeob and then I'm off to talk to a god.

NOW KEVIN. How can I even start? LOL. Now, before I start our conversation, I just wanna say that this wasn't what I planned the day before, or rather that morning. I was planning on proposing to him - complete with flowers to boot - on stage, YES with the kneeling and stuff XDD, and then do the "SHH!" thing and tell him to answer me on the 28th. LOL but I figured it won't work since they won't let me bring my flowers up on stage, and had I been permitted to, I wouldn't be able to hear his answer anyway because of the thing that happened at North. Anyway, as I've said earlier, my friend and I ditched breakfast for the boys so I was really hungry. Thinking of a good conversation I thought, the hell screw it, I'll say whatever to Kevin. (lol I don't really know if we understood each other. What I understood was he was asking me if I'm buying but when I tried to Google Translate, it said 'I'm buying' so I don't know which is which. XD Anyway, I was looking at SooHyeon because I was so amazed by him LOLing so hard whenever I talk to them XD SO YEAH, I kind of ignored Kevin for a while back there XDD so he repeated his question)

They were really laughing hard. XDD I was actually thinking of saying "Only the cheap ones" but said the opposite XD LOL I would never forget how Kevin's laugh and SooHyeon's LOL sound like. It happened so fast I didn't even notice when exactly did Kevin handed the CD to SooHyeon. XD

Me: 안녕~! (Bye~!)
Kevin and SooHyeon: Bye bye!~
Me: 대박이야! (Big hit!)
SooHyeon: AHAAHAHAHAHA
Me: Bye bye!~

LOL I so love that guy. I can't even hear Kevin because of him but it's all cool. I was watching him the whole time and how much more can I describe it as something so precious that would surely be etched in my memory forever, considering my memory? :)

So I went down the stage and the guy gave me the poster. They were escorting me to the exit but I refused. If some people were allowed to take pictures of the boys below the stage, why can't I? So I made my way back in front of the boys and tried to catch their attention again.

I called out to SooHyeon and Kevin and they posed for me but my bitchy camera wouldn't click!!!! GRRR NOOO not that time. T_T They were posing for about 4 seconds already when someone called Kevin and he looked, that's when my camera clicked. DAMN. So only SooHyeon was looking.

Still not contented with my little piece of heaven with Kevin, I shouted to him one more time and when he looked, I asked him:

Me: 나랑 결혼해줄래요? (Will you marry me?)
Kevin: *nods*
(I was like...OMFG?! LOL maybe he didn't hear me? So again.)
Me: 진짜 결혼해줄래요?! (Will you really marry me?!)
Kevin: *nods eagerly*
Me: 언제요? (When?)
Kevin: *he was saying something but unfortunately, I can't hear him because he was a bit far from me T,T*

So I just waved at him and moved on to other members. To make it short, I tried to get all members to look at me, solely for me. LOL. And they all did except DongHo. What can I say? The guy's the busiest one. Poor maknae... he was the first in line so he never get to rest.

BTW, Pam luckily found her control number in the deepest, darkest place inside her bag so when I looked at her CD, it had her name on it and mine didn't. LOL DONGHO! XDD What happened was, when I moved on to Eli, I noticed that he forgot to write my name so I told him and showed him the paper with my name on it so he could write it, but he said something about the other members, etc. (Because he was already signing someone's CD) So I thought other members would just write it. Everything happened too fast, I didn't even notice that they really weren't putting my name on it - because I wasn't showing them the paper where I wrote it! LOL. DongHo, we FAIL! XDDD So when I was already down the stage, I tried to ask the organizer if I can just get DongHo to write my name once but they won't allow me. Awww.. oh well, my interaction with them is much, much more valuable than a personalized signature, right? :)

We're still getting their attention when I suddenly remembered my banner - the banner that I was waving earlier at the show that caused some girl to pull my hair XD. I showed it to Kevin and he read it, smiled, and re-enacted the scene! HAHAHAHA he put out his hands like that in Star King and said "Model~" KYAAAA I am SO fine with dying right then and there. XD

The cut-off of 200 for the autograph signing was reached so they stopped. KiBeom stood up and went to gather the pile of trash that the girls left on stage - the papers where they wrote their names. He looked a bit pissed with how they just left their trash there. I don't know if some of the girls in front of him actually helped but I think the staff was the one who continued piling it up since KiBeom needs to join the group.

They said their goodbyes and went to the backstage for about 3 minutes and went out again to exit the area. We were still inside the backstage when they exited and boy I'm thankful we weren't outside the barricade. There was a stampede when they were heading to the exit. I heard the boys even helped two or three girls who fell.

We met with my CloudPH friends after that and had a good time talking about random stuff. When we got home, I was browsing the forums and saw one picture that had me in it. It was when KiSeob was signing my CD, while I'm still talking to KiBeom. You know what's so effin' good about that picture? No one was on my left side that moment. All of them who were lined before me already had their CDs signed by Xander, Kevin and SooHyeon. LOL just imagine how long have I been there, talking to them? And I haven't had my OSM conversation with Kevin yet. XDDD

I'll never ever forget that day. I wasn't a big fan until that day, and I really consider myself lucky, more than lucky to start my being a Kiss Me like that. I am very much thankful that God has made way for me to be able to attend the show that day. Thanks dude! :)

It started with Star King.

Yes, it's because of that guy whose face is prettier than someone called Kim Jae Joong, whose sole existence degrades women. That guy whom I saw in Star King, disguising as one girl who..yeah. That one guy named Woo Seong Hyeon.

LOL, too dramatic.

Anyway, seriously, I just started really liking UKiss...like a few weeks before they visit the Philippines. Sure, I've been listening to their songs but they still stayed as an eye-candy...until I saw Kevin in Star King. He was literally shining. XDDD So I decided to be a fully pledged Kiss Me that day. <3

Onto the day of the mall show.

My friend Pam and I were planning to go to the mall as early as 8am to be able to secure good control numbers (we weren't even able to sleep that night because we were making banners XDD) but ended up leaving at 8am instead. LOL we arrived at SM Megamall at 9am and was surprised that there wasn't anyone present yet at the nearest entrance from the venue so we decided to eat first since we haven't had anything for breakfast. Across the mall, there stood a flower shop so we had this idea of giving them flowers since we failed to buy them presents. I bought 3 pink roses wrapped in a green wrapper for uri Kevin while Pam bought 3 white roses in a blue wrapper for the Pigeon. We just asked the owner of the flower shop to deliver it to the event center by 2pm. I saw girls slowly appearing at the entrance and after we paid for the flowers, there were already a number of them so we, again, screwed eating and went to line up instead. Everyone was eager for the security guard to open the doors. It actually seemed like them guards wished they weren't assigned in that particular entrance on that particular day. LOL anyway, when they finally opened the doors ate 10am, people started running towards the venue like there's some kind of a race. When we finally got to the finish line lol, there were already about 15 persons in line and we were like 60 something. The guard told us to line at the other end and people started running and cutting lines but it's okay, I managed to get to 40 something. XD

Waiting in line was fine, but the little ones..goodness. XD Around 10:30 when UKiss' MVs started playing at the screen at the stage and the young ones kept screaming for theirs lives like the boys could hear them. LOL it was as if it's their first time watching the MV. XDD Oh well, to each his own. I think we lined up for about an hour before we finally got the CD and gave us control numbers. I got 73. LOL imagine those many people who cut the lines. -_-

And we are so effin in.

That was how close I was to the stage prior to the pushing. ><

Because it's only the two of us, we found a decent spot at the second, or 1.5th row in the middle. XD Then we sat and waited. 5 hours until 5pm...4...3.. then some group started shouting and everyone stoo up. Pam still wasn't finished with drawing Eli so we didn't really move an inch for about 20 minutes more until the standing crowd that encloses us started getting stuffy. I'm scared it would turn into a stampede so we just stood up for another 2 hours. Checking my watch at around 4:10pm, people started shouting really loud again and that's when I realized UKISS HAD JUST ARRIVED. Everyone went berserk! We were pushed by everyone and everything went crazy. Good thing some Pinoy trio who looks like a copycat of PCD performed. The crowd was somehow tamed but not in any way manageable. It was like a death zone. I heard some people needed to be taken out because they were having an asthma attack, some were stepped on. Yikes. >< Throughout the whole show was like literally fighting for our way to live. XD

As I mentioned at first, I wasn't really a total fan so I can't give comments on their performances. One thing is for sure though: I really really enjoyed their performances even though my body was being taken care of the devil. Mind over matter, just let your body go with the flow. I did just that so I enjoyed it nevertheless.

The riot began again when UKiss showed up at the stage. I made a banner that goes "I LIKE MOOOODELS FROM SAN FRANCISCO~" to catch Kevin's attention. When the boys went on stage, I tried to wave it but the people behind me were rabid. First time I really experienced what a rabid fan was like. @_@ I know banners are awful for the ones behind 'coz I've been majorly pissed with them before, but I wasn't planning on holding it for a long time. I mean, who can actually hold it in that position? Actually I just flashed it, then back down to show some courtesy. I just want to get Kevin's attention. So when I waved it one time, someone pulled my hair and hit my head intentionally. I was like.. WTF but I just let it pass. I tried to be as civilized as possible. The crowd got so bad that the boys had to stop for about 10 minutes after BB and the security guys had to provide a rope that people could hold on to. I had seriously thought of ditching the front line just to save my life, but whatever. Actually I didn't get to keep that line come the second song. I don't know what exactly happened but I ended up being 2 persons behind my original place.

The song rocks by itself and watching it live just owns them all. XDDDD The feel and choreography of that song is really strong and seeing it happen right infront your eyes is heaven in hell, just like the current state of my body in that crowd. LOL

Second song: Talk To Me

Same riot, still tried to get Kevin's attention by holding up my thumb whenever he performs but to no avail. XD Oh well, who would see that one hand drenched in a sea of hands and heads and cameras? XDD

Third song: I Like You

The envy number. The boys were showing the ladies cute antics and whatnots. I'm fine with the interaction, at least I got to see that side of them.

The talk portion began after the song. The boys spoke in English of course, but f rankly, I can't understand long sentences that time because of the noise. XD

Fifth song: Man Man Ha Ni

It's the final song and I was watching there, actually relieved that I will be out of that crowd in a few minutes. LOL anyway, the boy got into position for MMHN but the song that played was Not Young! LOL the boys just started dancing to whatever, being silly, and of course, unending fan service. They got into position again but this time, nothing was even played so they just continued talking to the fans about things which I can't hear properly. XD Third take, it's fine. I suddenly wished it wasn't LOL.

PS: I'll just post the autograph signing part later/tomorrow. I'm still attending the event at SM North later and we plan to get there by 7am because it seems like a lot of people will go. Another war zone to expect. Though, we're probably not staying at the death zone. As long as I get a decent control number, my life is so saved. Wish me luck! <3

4Minute in the Philippines

I never knew I would start blogging again with a 4minute post. LOL

I arrived at Megamall at around 3:30PM. The FX driver dropped me off at Bldg.A, where the event is going to take place. I can already hear the commotion from the entrance but I needed to leave my baggage at the baggage counter, which is at Bldg.B. Talk about rushing. XD When I arrived at the venue, there are already many people gathered around the barricades. Luckily, I found a spot just behind the barricade and it's not that far from the stage so I thought all is good since I'm not that vertically challenged and I can see the stage -- until the people at front started waving their banners. Rawr.

Everyone went berserk when 4minute arrived at around 4:55. The actual show started at around 5:20PM with Muzik. I can't comment on their performance because 1. I wasn't able to concentrate on watching them because I was looking through my camera's LCD screen because the people at the front were waving banners. I needed to maneuver my camera all the effin' time; and 2. As I've tweeted last night, I wasn't really a fan until that event. LOL. It's converting me now. :D

After the performance, they went backstage. They appeared after about 3 minutes, asking the fans not to push each other or they'll have no choice but to stop the show. I don't know if the fans complied because I can't see them. LOL. Next song is Stick With U followed by Hot Issue. Fans were extremely hyped up when they sang Hot Issue. I'm not really familiar with the fanchant with that song but I guess it came naturally? XD I found myself chanting along with the fangirls and boys (actually I think majority of those in the enclosed area are boys. XD) after the first chorus. Next song is Anjullae and last is What A Girl Wants then they started the Autograph Signing.

Now here is the fun part. 8D Around 50% of the crowd disappeared when the autograph signing session began so I got the chance to move to behind the barricade at the side of the stage -- that makes me directly at their left, around 4 yards away. I decided to execute my 'mission' at this point. XD What's that mission? To call HyeonA, Oh Bang Shil. Yeah, that mystery girl from JoKwon and GaIn's We Got Married segment. We, me and, Pam wanted to see if she will respond to that name just for the heck of it. XD BTW, Pam didn't go with me yesterday. DRSGEARGES

Anyway, actually I was shy to shout because the girls in my area are not really the rabid type. XD Thankfully, one group consisting of Koreans in my area shouted "HyeonA" and she looked and smiled at them! So I thought, why not try my luck since I'm already there and...well, to hell with the fangirls/boys beside me. :)) Others started shouting for the girls and HyeonA and JiHyun looked again. After a few seconds, I shouted OH BANG SHIL really loud just when HyeonA's looking at JiHyun (I think...or at our area XD I don't really know plus her mouth formed an "O" at the same time or just as I was shouting "O" XDD) and SHE WAVED AND SMILED AT ME (allow me to spazz okay?! LOL)! XD I have the video so you can judge for youself. I'll not be able to upload videos today though since I don't have much time to cut the videos. Maybe tomorrow, if my dorm's internet connection will be good to me. *bopshead*

Whatever. OH BANG SHIL Mission: Completed. Hehehe :D And JiYoon waved at us too! Double YEAH!~ Something to add: while we were shouting to get the girls' attention, one staff eonni approached first, the group of Koreans in our area and asked them to do a video greeting for 4minute. I am jealous at that point. XD But waddya know, she then approached us and said something like "....say 4minute fighting!" LOL she spoke in english but I didn't hear her because my mind was spazzing like gahhh that time. XD I think I did some random hand signs other than the normal fighting! sign. XD She pointed the camera at the other girls in my area, then BACK AT ME 'coz I keep saying "fighting!" even if she's not recording me. :)) Then I realized that I look so wasted because it's so hot at the venue as there are too many people. I was thinking, "OH NOESS..what if they air it on Korean TV?! I AM SO DOOMED T___T" so I asked the girls beside me what it was for and they said that 4minute will watch it. WHEW. I just hope that they'll be the only ones to watch it. XD But if I knew that it would be for private viewing, I would've said Oh BangShil nonstop. :))

I went there as a non-fan, went home as a fan. :)
