at ancient times people believed that an elderly #fairy_woman (mother of paristan) was used to live inside the fort .... the door used to open on each Friday ..... people were hearing a horrible sound when the gate was opening. Several stories are associated with this gate. Local people were not allowed to sow onion and garlic at their kichen garden as they believe it was not liked by the fairy mother even dress in red colour was not worn by women especially the youth one. When a girl was getting merry she has to sacrife a hen infront of the gate while passing by it which is still continue as it was. Similarly, teen ager boys and girls mostly girls have sometimes company of these faries and are going through psychological and mentle disturbances even get uncontious ..... some skillful people (khalifas)who have the basic knowledge from the holy Quran to get rid of these sprits. Local elderly women have strong believes on the myth however the new generation do not follow the superstitious believes and practice all the prohibited actions and restrictions. Chilas (Urdu: چلاس‎) is a historical city of District Diamer Diamer located in the Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan on the river Indus. Diamer District is bounded by Astore District in the east, by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in the southwest Neelum District of Azad Kashmir in the south, the Ghizer District in the north and northwest, and the Gilgit District in the north and northeast. Before the Karakoram Highway was opened in 1978, the only road reaching Gilgit town from the south was a rough track north from Balakot to Babusar Pass and further north through Babusar Gah to Chilas.

There are five lakes in the Naltar valley known as 'Satrangi Lake' Halima Lake' Bodo Lake'Green Lake' &'Blue Lakes' at a distance of 13 kilometers (8 mi) from Naltar Bala. The road from village to the lakes is nonmetallic and narrow alongside a stream throughout this road coming from the mountains. In winter it is almost impossible to reach the lake through any vehicle due to the snow (10 to 15 feet high) on the road.

The Skardu Valley (Urdu: وادی سکردو‎) is located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The valley is about 10 km wide and 40 km long. It is at the confluence of the Shigar River and Indus River. ADVANTURE PLACE OF SKARDU:

1) Skardu Fort.

Skardu Fort or Karpachu Fort is a fort in Skardu city in Gilgit-Baltistan of the Kashmir region that dates from the 16th century CE. An ancient mosque is also present inside the fort. The fort and its mosque are located on the eastern face of the Khardong hill 40 ft above Skardu city. A view from these monuments brings into vision the entire valley, the Indus River and the settlement below.

2) Khaplu Valley.
Khaplu, also spelt Khapalu, is a town that serves as the administrative capital of the Ghanche District of Gilgit-Baltistan, in northern Pakistan. Lying 103 km east of the town of Skardu, it was the second-largest kingdom in old Baltistan of the Yabgo dynasty.

3) Kachura Lake.

The Kachura Lakes are two lakes in the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan. The lakes, at 2,500 metres in elevation, are Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake. The latter is also known as Shangrila Lake and is within a tourist resort named Shangrila Resort outside the town of Skardu.

4) Shangri-La Lake
Lower Kachura Lake, also known as Shangrila Lake is located in Kachura village in Skardu city at a height of 2,500 metres. The lake is also known as Shangrila lake after a resort built on its bank in 1983.

5) Satpara Lake

Satpara Lake is a natural lake near Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, which supplies water to Skardu Valley. It is fed by the Satpara Stream. Satpara Lake is situated at an elevation of 2,636 meters above sea level and is spread over an area of 2.5 km². Length: 3.5 km

6) Shigar Fort

The Shigar Fort means The Fort on Rock is an old fort of Baltistan and Pakistan located in the town of Shigar. It was built in the 17th century by the Raja of Amacha Dynasty of Shigar. The fort has been restored by Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan, the Pakistan arm of the Aga Khan Historic Cities Programme.

7) Deosai

The Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain (plateau) and national park in the Northern Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

The name "Gherz," which in Khowar means "refugees," is whence the word Ghizer originated. In the Golaghmuli Valley, presently called Golaghmuli, there is a village called "Gherz.".

Ghizer District is one of the district that make up Gilgit-Baltistan. It is situated in the northwest of the area and borders China to the northeast, the Hunza-Nagar District to the southeast, the Gilgit District to the southwest, and the Ghanche District to the west. It also has boundaries with the Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan to the north.

There are about 120,000 people living in the district, most of them reside in rural areas. The district's primary language is Shina, while English and Urdu are also frequently spoken.
