WANT YOUNGER LOOKING SKIN?

2014-05-21T08:35:00.000-07:00

When my friend first told me about NERIUM, she said... "this is what we have been waiting for". Because I have known her for almost 20 years, I decided to try NeriumAD Night Cream. Even though I saw pictures of others' results, I wanted to see for myself. What I saw in my own BEFORE & AFTER 30-Days-using-Nerium photos astonished me!

I had always had beautiful skin (genetics) while living in high humidity environments (MI & OR). Nearly 4 years living in the high desert of Colorado had taken it's toll on my skin. Nerium in just days began to heal and "youth" my skin. I have seen my friends look (in less than 2 years) like they did when I met them almost 20 years ago. Who doesn't want to look more vibrant and younger? I do.

The patented ingredient, NAE-8 is in NO OTHER skincare product. It's "miraculous" properties were discovered through medical research. See the REAL SCIENCE BEHIND NERIUM.

In the REAL RESULTS GALLERY, one can view more results that real people are having with NeriumAD. I have used so many skincare products over more than 50 years.... and nothing worked like NeriumAD. With a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, you can't lose by trying it for yourself if you want to look younger than you are.

NATURAL HOME MADE TOOTHPASTE

2013-02-05T11:44:00.001-08:00

A few months ago, knowing that most commercial toothpaste is bad for your teeth, I decided to experiment. I know about the healing properties of both Magnesium Oil and Coconut Oil.
I also know about the alkaline properties of baking soda which is also a mild abrasive.

So I added equal parts of coconut oil, magnesium oil and baking soda to a jar. When I mixed them they multiplied in volume and ran over my small jar. So, if you use an 8 ounce jar, only add one ounce each of the 3 ingredients and watch your toothpaste fill up the jar.

This morning a friend sent me a video that explained about natural dentistry. This home made toothpaste is amazing. Try it.... you will like it.

Walmart Strikes Again

2013-01-17T18:06:00.000-08:00

Today we witnessed, once again, Walmart's lack of compassion for people. A manager, Kevin, of the Lakewood/Littleton Walmart went to two motorhomes and an SUV, and told them they could not park overnight in "his" parking lot. There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking. We have parked in this particular Walmart lot next to tractor-trailer trucks off and on for a couple of years.

Over the two years that we have been "boondocking" in Walmart, Sam's Club and Lowe's parking lots, we have seen countless examples of people "living" in their cars and SUVs, in borrowed travel trailers and in campers held together by duct tape. We have talked to many of these people and find them to be loving, caring people who have not been able to find work, do not have health care or are living on a small pension or social security.

Why is it that a corporation like Walmart, worth BILLIONS, hires the handicapped and elderly at minimum wage with NO benefits and then chases good people out of their empty parking lots? Because they can. Where is their conscience?

The FURMINATOR Solves Hairy Nightmare

2013-01-17T17:56:00.001-08:00

Our two Golden Retrievers, Lexie & Sami, shed tons of fur on our motorhome FURniture and floor. No amount of brushing seemed to help. It was driving me crazy.... dog hair on our clothes...in our food... on our socks.

I mentioned my dilemma on Facebook in response to a joke about FUR-niture. A friend in Texas told me about the FURMINATOR that she found at PetsMart that solved the fur problem in her home.

After searching on the Internet I found many sources of the FURMINATOR de-shedding tool, which comes in many sizes for long and short-haired cats and long and short-haired dogs of any size. I found mine for half the price that PetsMart was charging with FREE shipping from an eBay Merchant, Daniel Qin.

I was amazed at how much fur the FURMINATOR
removed from my two Goldens the first time I used it. They love being "brushed" with the FURMINATOR. It has greatly reduced the amount of hair we have on our furniture. I especially like the push-button release that ejects the fur from the comb. This is the best dog grooming tool I have ever found.

ANTI-AGING Skin Formula - AMAZING NERIUM!

2012-10-19T12:59:00.001-07:00

I have to say I was skeptical when I heard reports from friends about a new anti-aging skin formula. When I saw pictures of a friend I had met more than 15 years ago looking now like she did when I met her, I decided to try NERIUM for myself. I thought it might take up to 3 months to see any improvement in my skin which had begun to seriously wrinkle after spending the last 2 years in the dry Colorado climate.

After only 2 weeks, I could already see a huge difference in my skin as these Before & After photos show. I am absolutely thrilled with the results I am seeing in my skin.

I am so grateful for my friends who shared this wonderful new product with me. I want to share it with the world. When you feel 26 inside, who wants to look old. Thank you NERIUM.

Years ago I never dreamed that I would want a tattoo. It was taboo then. But, it isn't taboo anymore! Keith has been getting tattoos for years from a masterful tattoo artist at PHANTOM 8 in Englewood, CO. When I saw J.D.s work, I just knew I wanted to meet him.

I met J.D. a few months ago. He is a fine artist, specializing in portraits, although he is a master in all formsTattoo Art, in my opinion. He did Keith's father last Wednesday. FAR is the Norwegian name for "father" (on the left). A month ago he tattooed the portrait of Keith's, BESTAFAR, which is Norwegian for "grandfather"(on the right). Keith is proud to be a "son of a son of a sailor". (His Bestafar owned a shipping fleet in Norway before WWII. He blew it up so the Nazis couldn't use it for their war plans.... what a brave and selfless man!)

A month ago, J.D. gave me my first tattoo (and I am a grandma!!! of 5 boys). I have been working on my design for over a year. With J.D's artistry, he translated my design beautifully.

My daughter, Chris, owner of Monster Design Studio in Cedar Rapids, IA said, "Mom, tattoos are like Lays Potato Chips.... YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE!" She is right. I am already working on my next two designs. My tattoo has a great deal of meaning.... and is a very personal expression of who I am and my life.

Thank you, J.D. at Phantom 8. You are amazing! We give J.D............ 5 STARS

CARINO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN LAKEWOOD - SUPERB!

2011-08-17T11:19:00.000-07:00

A couple of weeks ago we were hungry for pizza, but it just had to be special. Each pizza parlor we drove by FELT inferior to our combined desires.

We finally came upon an Italian restaurant in Lakewood, CO that "FELT"... well, "JUST RIGHT". The dark coolness of the dark wooden doors and walls and wrought iron decor brought relief from the hot summer sun outside. The manager greeted us warmly, as it was only 4 PM and the supper crowd had not arrived. She led us to the bar which was quiet and peaceful. A small black chalk board at the end of the bar read: Happy Hour 3 to 7 PM..... Pizza & Drinks.... HALF PRICE!

Keith ordered a BELLINI (inspired by Venice) for me which was made of frozen peach puree, champagne, rum with a Sangria swirl which was served in a 12-inch high tapered glass. It was only $3.00 on Special. He ordered a SANGRIA which was as wonderful as the BELLINI.

We shared a caesar salad which included light toasted seasoned croutons. The romaine was lightly coated with a freshly prepared caesar dressing - the best Caesar Salad we have ever tasted!

The waiter served us a hot italian bread loaf with olive oil, herbs and minced toasted garlic and black pepper on a small plate for dipping. We were in Heaven!

We decided to share the $9.99 Pizza Special with 5 toppings - which was only $4.98 during Happy Hour. We chose Italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms and green peppers.

Our leisurely gourmet dinner came to only $12.99 plus tip. And the manager invited us to return and to visit their website for a discount membership card, which we did. We can't wait to go back.

We highly reccommend CARINOS ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Lakewood, CO if your are ever in the area. Keith says their is one in Colorado Springs, too. We give CARINO'S 5-stars!

APPLE "ROCKS"

2011-06-25T13:15:00.000-07:00

I am at the Apple Store in Aspen Grove, CO.... again. After spilling water into my MacBook last week, having them send it to APPLE CARE on Wednesday for repair, getting it back last Saturday.... it started "crashing" this week. Now, anyone who has a MAC knows that APPLE products are superior to anything on the market. They ran diagnostics tonight which took 3 hours. They took off all my files and put them on a new 750 GB external HD that they gave me to replace my 500 GB Time Capsule (don't buy one). Now they are installing OS 10.6 "SNOW LEOPARD" and putting back on my MacBook all the APS that originally came with my MacBook.

What is also superior, is APPLE's Apple Care techs and Apple's store techs and reps. Everyone I have worked with here at the Aspen Grove Apple Store have been amazing people! Today I worked with Jed and Christine. Not only are they knowledgeable, they are so nice. Customer Service EXTRAORDINAIRE!

Steve Jobs, co-founder and CEO of APPLE, Inc., has revolutionized the computer industry. I have never seen better customer service or technical support or efficiency in another U.S. company.

Keith and I went back today to the Apple Store because I couldn't figure out how to put my Adobe PhotoShop Elements and Aperture back on my MacBook. "This will take a little while," the rep said. "Go for a walk or have lunch." So we ate at Qdoba... YUM! When we got back everything was done.

I invite you to explore APPLE products, knowing that this is a company you can trust to be the best they can be. BRAVO APPLE, INC!!!!!

MAGNESIUM - "THE ESSENTIAL MINERAL TO MAN!"

2011-06-04T15:01:00.000-07:00

I heard many years ago, that most Americans are deficient in MAGNESIUM. It wasn't until I began having arrhythmia and a racing heart that I started researching the cause and found that it was caused by MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY. I knew that my Mom had the same symptoms and was on very expensive medications. I could have chalked it up to "heredity", but I didn't. She had insurance. Thankfully, I did not.

In my searching I found a natural product from GLOBAL LIGHT a number of years ago. I have been using natural Magnesium Gel and Magnesium Oil as a "first aid" solution. When I get a heart episode, I put it on my chest and within minutes my heart is beating regularly again.

It relieves muscle cramps in my feet and legs when I apply it in the middle of the night.

When I have a pain in my shoulder or knee, I apply it and the pain goes away. My mother avoided a painful and expensive rotator cuff surgery using Magnesium Gel from Global Light.

Today, I listened to a FREE CD I received from Global Light on MAGNESIUM TRANSDERMAL THERAPY in which Dr. Mark Sircus talked about our need for magnesium and how best to get the magnesium we need every day.

Dr. Mark Sircus explained that 1) Magnesium is not stored in the body 2) Magnesium is not available in our foods - our soils are depleted and have been for more than 50 years 3) Magnesium taken orally in the doses one needs causes diarrhea 4) IV Magnesium therapy is expensive and uncomfortable - but is used in hospitals during strokes & heart attacks 5) Americans have an severely unbalanced Calcium (too high)/Magnesium (too low) ratio resulting in Heart Disease which is rampant in the U.S. 6) MAGNESIUM must be added to the body daily for a body to function and heal itself 7) Magnesium relaxes muscles, reduces blood pressure and opens up blood vessels and 8) Science knows that MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY is the cause of low energy, heart disease and hundreds of other debilitating and life-threatening conditions.

NOTE: Japan has low rate of Heart Disease... mainly because they eat large amounts of sea vegetables, high in magnesium.

Over the past few months I have been suffering from more frequent repeated episodes of arrhythmia an racing heart. My blood pressure has been unusually high during these episodes. I had an EKG a year ago and nothing was found.

Today, I did an experiment with my little "guinea-pig-self". I took my BP/Pulse when the episode started.... 148/85 with a pulse of 80 and was erratically beating. I put MAGNESIUM GEL on my legs and chest and waited about 20 minutes. When I re-took my vitals, they were 121/70 with a pulse of 70... normal. I not only felt better but my heart was back to normal.

I now realize that, like air and water .... I need MAGNESIUM every day!

Billions of dollars annually would be saved in this country if people knew about the BENEFITS OF TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM THERAPY which is quite inexpensive.

It is obvious, to me, that the Pharmaceutical Industry does NOT want you to know about MAGNESIUM.

Do your own research or order the book or Call GLOBAL LIGHT for a FREE CD on Transdermal Magnesium Therapy. Please share this with everyone you know and love.

Namaste,
Sharon Kay

Spring Has Sprung - New Life Begins

2011-05-28T14:29:00.000-07:00

I am RAVING about spring! Today I saw a snow-ball bush in full bloom. The sight of this beautiful bush transported me back to our little farm in Michigan and the memories of how much my Mom loved her snow-ball bush with it's giant balls of white.

For nearly 30 years my parents enjoyed the beauty of springtime on that little one-acre farm. We were blessed with the sweet apple blossoms bursting from our apple orchard, yellow forsythia blooms, except for the year Dad "trimmed" Mom's gorgeous giant bush "almost-to-death". It took a couple of years for it to recover the "pruning".

I loved picking Pussy willows from the swollen ditches in early spring. Mom had beds of Iris and Peonies and a big Spirea bush that made her sneeze. One year Dad sprayed the ants on the Peony bush and the peonies never opened. He didn't know that the ants job was to eat off the sap so the outer green petals could release the giant blooms to open. OPPS! He never did that again.

Spring meant preparing the soil for spring planting of our garden. Dad love gardening so much that we always had enough food to feed an entire city. As years went by, Mom grew tired of canning everything he grew.... because "it couldn't be wasted!!!" All this was Daddy's way of dealing with his memories of the Great Depression. Only those who lived through those years could really understand.

In 1974 I was HUGELY pregnant for my third child. Dad & Mom came to visit and Dad brought me a 5-gallon pail filled with fresh brocolli that he had just picked from his garden. He was so proud. "Just wash it in salt water, blanche it and you can freeze it", he counseled. Since we loved broccolli I thanked him as they headed off on errands.

As I stood at the sink washing the broccoli in cold salt water, my back began to ache. Since Dad didn't use pesticides we always had to deal with a few worms. The more I cleaned the brocolli, the more worms I found, and the MORE MY BACK ACHED. I was in early labor but didn't know it. Soon it seemed that there were more WORMS THAN BROCOLLI.... only because, I am sure, I was so miserable. Frustrated and exhausted, I drained the sink and threw ALL THE BROCCOLI away, took an aspirin and crawled in bed and it wasn't even noon yet. I didn't care!

The doctor had said, "if you think you are in labor, just take an aspirin and take a nap". If it is REAL LABOR you won't be able to sleep. Well, I slept for about 3 hours.... but awoke with a sharp pain!!! I called my husband to come home from work.... FAST.... then called my folks to come get our other two children from school. Michelle Gay Warren was born at 6:10 PM that afternoon.

It took me a long time before I could ever look at or eat broccoli again.
