Bill Preis (K9KE) well known ham in the greater St. Louis and Illinois area passed away today. Bill was the operator of the huge repeater system in Godfrey, IL. The K9KE system in Godfrey operated on 10 Meters, 6 Meters, 2 Meters, 220 and 440. In addition, K9KE was trustee of the Gillespie repeater on 145.290 MHz. Bill’s website: http://www.k9ke.net/
