Students and reasearch scolars should realy thank to National Intruments for producing the myDAC to the world, An extend learning beyond the lab and lecture with NI myDAQ, an affordable, student-owned, instrumentaiton and control tool. Students can perform experiments anywhere, anytime for the cost of an engineering textbook.
NI myDAQ allows a traditional classroom course to incorporate hands-on homework exercises that can be done from a dorm room, coffee shop, or park bench. Students build a deeper understanding of engineering concepts when they Do Engineering through independent experimentation, measurement, and analysis of the real world. The oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, digital multimeter, power supplies, digital I/O, bode analyzer, dynamic signal analyzer, and programmable LabVIEW interface allow students to perform many laboratory-style experiments anywhere, anytime.
For circuits, theory can be reinforced by comparing simulation results and actual measurements on the same plot in NI Multisim. Signal processing and control algorithms can be implemented in real-time using LabVIEW with the industry standard NI DAQmx driver interface. Designed by National Instruments, utilizing analog IC’s supplied by Texas Instruments, NI myDAQ provides a comprehensive set of capabilities that will benefit a student throughout their studies and engineering career.
