Where have I been?

For the past months, I have not been posting to this blog.
It is a good thing, because I have been actually focusing on
fun, joyous matters in my life.

One of the things has been starting a garden.
I have tomatoes, onions, serrano peppers, basil, Rosemary and
strawberries. I have always wanted to start a small garden, so
my energy has gone to that.

The other is that summer is here. My wife and kids are off for
the summer and that means I love to spend quality time with them.
Take in the moments and enjoy. We like to do things like, shoot some
hoops, play board games, draw, etc. etc. Yes this is deep and
spiritual.

So instead of trying to fight f or time to paint, I let the flow of the moment
guide me during summer. It is all well.

Enjoy every moment you have....

As a spiritual artist, one never stops learning the ways of life. A friend of mine
shared this site with me, The powerful method shared here is one that I have seen shared in many other ways but it it is basically the same.
It is very simple to do, but you must remember to do it as often as possible.

Facebook has a Face Lift

Today I logged in to my Facebook account, and it now has a an
option to view your profile in a new layout.

I'm not sure if I like it yet, but it has a "Back to the old Facebook"
if you don't feel it.

By the way I added my badge to my blog. You have the
options of having things like you latest pictures or websites on
your FB badge. For artist marketing art online, this could be used
as a way to show your art in a small place, like a mini art gallery.

Best of all it's FREE way to promote your art online. I use it to
promote my inspirational and spiritual art, so get in there.

Stop paying attention to the media.

But people believe the media, fall into fear, stop spending,
and suddenly a recession is here.

This has to stop. And it can stop right now.

Break free from love worries.

Hello many friends.

I have been traveling lately, and will be back in
action in the middle of next week. I am blessed
that I am able to travel and inspire myself to give
you more spiritual and inspirational art.
More on that later.

Today I had a chance to check my ranking
on Google. Yes, I Google myself often. If you
are online you should too. I have been blessed
that I am in a position to reach more people
with my visionary and spiritual art.

You might ask why are you so happy Pete?
Well, as I Googled myself and my art, I am
very happy to see that more people will see
my "The Christ" painting.

How can I say that? Well, if you do a Google
search for "Spiritual Art For Sale", I am on the
first page four times. What is going to touch
someone looking for spiritual art for sale to
click on my painting, is that on that Google
search my painting has a small thumbnail
on the search results. It Stands Out!

We are visual beings, we think in pictures and
more people are going to click on my small
thumbnail because it's just easier.

Ever heard of Pecha Kucha?

I just joined this group because it is an event that supports others
It's very interesting, here is the breakdown.

The idea behind Pecha Kucha is to keep presentations concise,
the interest level up and to have many presenters sharing their
ideas within the course of one night.

Therefore the 20x20 Pecha Kucha format was created:
each presenter is allowed a slideshow of 20 images,
each shown for 20 seconds.

This results in a total presentation time of
6 minutes 40 seconds on a stage before the
next presenter is up.

1) You have to have the Notes application.

2) Go to your Notes app and to the right had side go to where it says:
Note Settings

3) then go to Edit Import Settings
Now paste the blog URL in there not your .com html

Don't paste

4) Click on the blue button and your blog post will show in your
Min-Feed and Notes sections of your Facebook profile.

More exposure for your blog for the same effort. Now go to Facebook

I Changed the HTML code in my Blog, Now I have a NEW LOOK!

Never stop learning, today I changed the layout of my blog
without uploading a new layout. Huh? yes, all I did was change
the html codes to make it a three column blog.

I think it was easier than: saving my original blog file, then
uploading a new template, and then re-doing my links and page
elements, or maybe save my widgets. Tooooo much.

I think it now has a better feel to it. I like the way my
visionary and spiritual art blog is comming along.

Notice there is free art for you, check it out.

My wife has asked me to do a painting for her.
The type of style she wants is not the kind
of visionary or spiritual art I usually paint.

Being a student of art marketing, I have read
many, many times that one should find a style
and stay with it.

As an artist I do like to do other type or art.
With that being said, I would like to be know for my
versatility as an artist as well.

It would be a shame that an artist or a person
should live their life to uphold a certian label.
I live and paint to expand my mind and my spirit.

Yes, I will enjoy creating something for my wife.
