Military Moms Breastfeeding in Uniform: National Pride or Over the Line?

National pride? Disgrace? Somewhere in the middle?

A photo of two servicewomen breastfeeding their children while in uniform has gone viral and added a new layer to the ongoing debate over nursing in public.

It's probably safe to say the Time Magazine breastfeeding cover went over quite well with Mom2Mom, a breastfeeding support group for military mothers.

In a series of tasteful professional photos showing beaming moms nursing kids, one jumps out for obvious reasons: the photo of two servicewomen

"A lot of people are saying it's a disgrace to the uniform. They're comparing it to urinating and defecating [while in uniform]," says Crystal Scott, a military spouse living at Fairchild AFB outside Spokane, Wash., who started Mom2Mom in January.

"It's extremely upsetting. Defecating in public is illegal. Breastfeeding is not."

It was Scott's idea to ask photographer Brynja Sigurdardottir to take the photos and create posters for National Breastfeeding Awareness Month in August.

One of the moms photographed in uniform, Terran Echegoyen-McCabe, breastfeeds her 10-month-old twin girls on her lunch breaks during drill weekends.

"I have breast-fed in our lobby, in my car, in the park ... and I pump, usually in the locker room," says the proud member of the Air National Guard."

"I'm proud to be wearing a uniform while breastfeeding. I hope [the photo] encourages other women to know they can, whether they're active duty, guard or civilian."

She said she's surprised by the reaction to the photos, which also feature her friend Christina Luna, because it never occurred to her it would cause a stir.

"There isn't a policy saying we can or cannot breastfeed in uniform," Echegoyen-McCabe says. "I think we do need to be able to breastfeed in uniform and be protected."

Following chatter that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher might reunite as a couple - because the latter made a passionate speech and the two shared an embrace at a recent birthday party - an insider tells People that the stars are simply friends. Without benefits.

"The family is in a pretty good place right now, but Ashton and Demi won't go back to being what they were," this source tells the magazine. "Ashton will always be a part of their lives, especially with regard to the girls and how close he is with them."

Might we see the former couple interact again in public? Or hear stories about them getting along in private?

Sure, this mole confirms. But that's simply because Kutcher "will always support" his ex. Nothing more should be read into the relationship.

"[It] has evolved and will continue to," the friend says, but: "There are just too many issues to go back. It's about figuring out how to move forward into a new place."

Ideally, a place that doesn't involve Kutcher being racist.

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister didn't seem to be in a chipper mood when she was spotted in Central London going to the Rosano Ferreti Hair Spa, and we think we know why the 28-year-old was not being her smiley self.

This was the first time we've seen Pippa since she reportedly went into hiding at her family home after being in the middle of a tabloid-crazy gun scandal.

Oh, you don't remember?

Photographers got a picture of Kate Middleton's sis riding shotgun in a covertible in Paris, and one of the fellows she was with pointed a gun to the paparazzi. Don't worry, it was a fake gun, but it still got Pippa in some really hot water.

Back to the discussion at hand. Although a smirk would brighten up her look, Middleton still looked fabulous in a color-block blouse and fitted jeans. We're hopeful that we'll see those pearly whites again soon.

Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI After Clipping Cop Car

Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI in West Hollywood early this morning ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us, Bynes was attempting to pass a cop car in her black BMW ... when she sideswiped the right rear panel of the vehicle. She was pulled over and cops determined she was not fit to be behind the wheel.
We're told the 26-year-old actress was busted at 3 AM ... she's still behind bars.

According to her booking sheet, Bynes is 5'7" and 125 lbs. Her bail has been set at $5,000.

Bynes has been frequenting the Hollywood party scene recently, hitting up several clubs over the last few weeks.

Just last month -- on St. Patrick's Day -- TMZ cameras saw Bynes leaving Greystone Manor, and thought she appeared to be extremely intoxicated. One of our cameramen even warned the valet not to let Amanda drive, but she got into the driver's seat anyway ... and took off (below).

A week before that, Amanda bolted from a cop while he was writing her a ticket. She was pulled over for talking on a cell phone, and while the cop was writing her up ... she drove away.

Amanda later swung by the police station and signed the ticket. So far, she hasn't faced additional charges stemming from that incident.

Britney Spears' Fiancé Jason Trawick Petitioning to Become Her Co-Conservator

Not only will Jason Trawick be Britney Spears' husband, but now he may take on a legal role in her conservancy.

E! News confirms that Spears' fiancé has petitioned to be added by the court as the pop singer's co-conservator, along with her father Jamie Spears.

So what does that mean exactly?

Jamie Spears has held legal control over his daughter and her multimillion-dollar fortune since Feb. 2008 when things started going downhill for the celeb. Now Trawick will be added into the mix, but he will only have control over her well-being, not her finances.

And don't worry, Brit's father doesn't feel like Jason's treading on his toes or anything. In fact, it was Jamie's idea to add Jason!

Jeffrey S. Cohen, an L.A. probate attorney (who's not involved with the case directly) told People, "This could be a sign that the couple's wedding is around the corner."

However, sources tell E! News that the wedding will not be any time soon and is not even in the planning stages yet.

Ashton Kutcher's Next Job? Playing Apple Founder Steve Jobs!

From replacing one of TV's most infamous Men to portraying one of the business world's most famous men, Ashton Kutcher can seemingly do it all!

The Two and a Half Men star is set to play Steve Jobs in an indie biopic titled Jobs, Variety reports. And while the actor is well-known for his Twitter activity, no one can deny that he also bears an uncanny resemblance with the late Apple founder, too.
So what is the film about? And does this mean Kutcher is dunzo with Two and a Half Men?

The film will follow Jobs on his journey from "wayward hippie" to cofounder of Apple and one of the most respected and powerful entrepreneurs in the business and technological world. Jobs passed away last October.

The film will be based on the best-selling, authorized bio of Jobs by Walter Isaacson.

While he has yet to sign a deal for another season, sources tell E! that Kutcher will most likely return to Two and a Half Men for another year. Kutcher would film Jobs while on hiatus from the CBS comedy in May.

Does Kim Kardashian's Flour Bomber Have PETA in Her Legal Corner?

It remains to be seen if the fur will really fly in the wake of Kim Kardashian's recent flour-bombing incident.

But if legal action is taken against the young woman who left the E! reality star in the dust—literally—she definitely has an ally in PETA.

While the animal-rights group has denied any involvement with what went down on the red carpet during the launch of Kardashian's new fragrance, True Reflection, in West Hollywood last week, a rep for the organization gave E! News the following statement:

"We don't believe Kim would be so shortsighted as to go after this woman. But if she does, we'll definitely look at how to maximize exposure to the cruel fur industry, and that could mean defending the activist if she wishes."

As to what exactly "defending the activist" means, specifically, there has been some speculation that it could include covering any of her legal expenses if charges were to be filed.

While Kardashian initially shared with E! News that she wasn't fazed by the flour-bombing, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians said she is definitely rethinking things.

"I said earlier, no, I wasn't [going to file a complaint]," Kim told us exclusively on Friday. "I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that."

At midnight last night, the Biebs' new single "Boyfriend" was released. And while there were multiple mentions of swag and even a Buzz Lightyear reference, the track is more vocally mature than anything he's done so far.

"Baby take a chance or you'll never ever know/ I got money in my hands that I'd really like to blow," he raps, before breaking into falsetto à la Justin Timberlake for the hook.

"If I was your boyfriend, never let you go," he sings. "Keep you on my arm girl, you'd never be alone/ I can be a gentleman, anything you want/ If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go."

But "Boyfriend" isn't just for Justin's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, it's for all of his adoring female fans, of course.

When a technical glitch on iTunes prevented users from downloading the song when the clock struck midnight, the Biebs got on their case. "yo @itunesmsuic im trying to romance 19 million ladies with my music," he tweeted. "you are kinda screwing this up for me. LEGGO!"

Despite the delay—which was fixed within an hour—"Boyfriend" is already No. 1 on the iTunes singles chart.

Kim Kardashian Is Pressing Charges On Flour Bomber

Right after Kim Kardashian was "flour bombed" on the red carpet during the launch of her perfume, True Reflection, she said thaar she wasn't going to press charges against the attacker. But that position stands no longer.

In an interview following the prank, the reality star told E! news, "I said earlier no I wasn't [going to file a complaint], I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that."

Immediately following the incident, Miss Kardashian gracefully walked off the red carpet covered in cooking powder and returned for more pics alongside her mom, Kris Jenner, who praised her daughter by saying, "I am so proud of my daughter for handling the situation last night so professionally and with such poise! Kim wasn’t phased by the attack and simply walked away from the red carpet, brushed herself off and headed right back out!!"

Of the incident, Kim spoke of how she felt threatened, as she explained, "I think, 'What if that was some other substance? What if that person had a dangerous weapon?' It's scary. And what's even scarier is this woman acted as if she was a part of the press, she just came out of nowhere! And so we are definitely changing things up a little bit, amping up security, taking some measures, and...I'm gonna definitely deal with it because it is not acceptable."

Most recently, per TMZ, sources close to Kim confirm that she is pressing charges because she feels the woman who dumped flour over her head should be held accountable for her actions.

The report adds that Kardashian will be contacting law enforcement officials within the next few days to submit the legal filings.

Miley and Liam, who began dating shortly after filming The Last Song together in 2009, are co-parents to their pup Ziggy, Miley's surprise gift to Liam for his 22nd birthday.

Though Miley often references Liam on Twitter, she's had nothing to say yet regarding the recent engagement rumors.

Even for a celebrity, that seems pretty outrageous, right? Then again, maybe not.
We would assume that A-list stars like Jennifer Aniston don't fool around when it comes to their beauty products—mainly because they're being photographed all the time—so, we would expect them to buy the best of the best (not to mention maintaining the eyebrow waxes and root touch-ups).
So when recent Internet reports claimed that Aniston spends a whopping $8,000 a month to keep that flawless and gorgeous face of hers, well, flawless and gorgeous, we had to know if that type of beauty really costs that much (and if so, we're SOL).
Hold on to your day cream, people, because this rumor is...

Aniston laughed at the accusation and told People, "Although I am a sucker for an amazing moisturizer, love a great facial, have been using the same cleansing bar since I was a teenager and have always been a dedicated tooth-brusher, reports that I am spending eight thousand a month on a beauty regime are greatly exaggerated," she says.

"By my tally," she told the mag, "this month I'm in for about two hundred bucks."

Before you get defensive, we're happy to see Demi Moore back to work, and she is beautiful. We know that, you know that, everybody knows that, and that's why we ask this question.
The star's latest ads for Helena Rubinstein's 2012 campaign have been released, and all we can focus our attention on is the massive amount of Photoshopping going on.

Let's see, there's absolutely no wrinkles or facial lines whatsoever, her nose and chin seem a different shape and suddenly, her tan has vanished. Yes, people always notice these things.
We understand that all ads and widely distributed photos get some retouching done, it's part of the biz, but it's freakin' Demi Moore. How much do you really have to fix?
Sure, her recent situation with ex Ashton Kutcher and barely getting out of rehab might have added a few stress lines to her face, and to that, we say fine—erase those on the computer.
However, changing almost everything? Not necessary.

Khloé & Lamar Recap: Father Issues, Body Issues!

There were plenty of issues on Khloé & Lamar tonight.

Lamar Odom struggles to allow his father Joe back into his life while Malika wrestles with the decision to get breast implants. Of course, Khloé Kardashian Odom is there for both of them.

So did Malika end up getting the procedure done? And were Lamar and Joe able to reconnect?

Lamar's father Joe calls him and suggests they go on a trip to Santa Barbara or Hawaii together, but Lamar is hesitant. "My father was in and out of my life for a long period of time," Lamar says of his newfound relationship with his father. "He wants to go on vacation together, but I've gotta draw the line somewhere."

While Lamar won't go to Hawaii with Joe, he will go to dinner with him, which gets off to a rough start when Joe asks Lamar if he has any bracelets he can give him. Soon, the conversation turns to all the people they've lost in their lives, including Lamar's mother in 1992. "My father, he had a short stint in Vietnam," Lamar said. "My father's platoon had been taken out and in order to survive he had to crawl in a foxhole that had a lot of his dead soldiers in it and hide under them…what my father's seen, he naturally had PTSD and I had no idea." Of his experience in Vietnam, Joe says, "I'm still trying to find my way home."

Khloé and Lamar visit Camp Pendleton so Lamar can get a better idea of what his father went through. "I can't help but to think about Joe and what he went through in Vietnam…I think I'm starting to understand him more," Lamar says after spending time with the Marines.

"I gotta give my father a break," Lamar later says to Khloé, explaining that everything Joe saw during the war threw him off his course of being a father for awhile. "My father had problems he really couldn't take care of himself." He then calls up his dad and says he wants to take him wine-tasting in Santa Barbara. All together now: Aw!

After her breakup with NFL star Adrian Wilson, Malika decides she wants to get breast implants. Khloé says she thinks Malika is beautiful the way she is and is only interested in this surgery because of her breakup. To try and convince her not to get the surgery, Khloé takes Malika lingerie shopping, but Khloé gets more than she bargained for when Malika shocks her by telling her, "You can get lipo." Way harsh!

The car ride home is tense and Khloé reveals, "I can't believe Malika insulted me and called me fat." Despite the lingerie shop drama, Malike still wants to go through with the surgery. "I honestly think you're going to regret it," Khloé tells her. Again, Malika denies that she's getting the surgery because of her breakup. "It's not a man issue," she stresses. "It's a Malika issue."

Malika goes for a consultation with a plastic surgeon and sets a surgery date, but starts to have doubts when she sees a woman who has the same size breasts as her and loves them. Later, she goes to see Khloé and tells her she isn't getting the surgery and admits she was thinking about getting it for the wrong reasons. Oh, and she tells Khloé she isn't fat.

You speak of the ongoing accusations against Mr. Z, as well as Oprah, Nicki Minaj  and many others, that they belong to centuries-old secret society aimed  at world takeover. Rappers are constantly addressing this chestnut.  Just recently, Waka Flocka Flame was forced to stick up for Minaj, calling such allegations "bulls--t."

But let's not let that stop us from bringing Jay-Z into this:

      As far as Jay-Z and other rappers go, conspiracy  theories linking such musicians to the Illuminati—and another paranoiac  fave, the Masons—have raged for years.

"The evidence is everywhere, hidden in plain sight," Philadelphia Weekly noted  dryly more than a year ago. "It's in his videos. It's in his lyrics.  It's in the pyramid-shaped sign he makes with his hand, which you  foolishly believe represents his Rocafella/Roc Nation labels."

In fact, the Weekly notes, the Illuminati-music conspiracy theory does not end with Mr. Carter.

"The rumor-mongering has ramped up so aggressively, it's spilled  over into those around Jay: Kanye (check the symbolism in his 'Power'  video and 30-minute movie 'Runaway'); Rihanna (her video for 'Rude Boy' is steeped in Masonic imagery); Beyoncé (whose videos and costumes for alter-ego Sasha Fierce is ripe with Illuminati symbolism).

      "Even Willow Smith, daughter of Will and Jada, is not immune. She was signed by Jay-Z to Roc Nation so, naturally, she's part of the Illuminati too."

      But why rappers? Well, to put it simply, there is a nexus between  African-Americans, power and paranoia that has simmered for generations.  This is the latest iteration.

      "Black culture in general has always had pervasive conspiracy  theories," Marc Lamont Hill, professor at Columbia University told the Weekly.  "There have always been questions and conspiracies about the structure  and nature of power by African-Americans, and naturally those questions  have made their way into hip-hop."

But why this particular conspiracy theory?

      There are so many flavors of paranoia that you've gotta wonder why we  have a specific complex marrying musicians (and Oprah!) to the  Illuminati.

      Well, I have that answer, too.

Céline Dion Not Dead, Just Killed by Twitter

The increasingly macabre social media site obviously has a taste for blood in the wake of its attempted massacring of Justin Bieber earlier this week, and just yesterday set its sights on some more fresh meat: in particular, Céline Dion.

Zut alors, ma petite Canadienne!

Death by hashtag seems to be all the craze, and Twitter continued the tradition Thursday night, when "RIP Céline Dion" became a worldwide trending topic.

So what was the weapon of choice this time? Rather than the old standby of a New Zealand cliff or freak on-set accident, the culprits were alternately (come on, killer tweeters, at least get your stories straight) a plane crash or a car accident.

Needless to say, Céline is alive and well. Whether the same can be said for her sense of humor in the wake of her untimely fake death remains to be seen.

Kris Humphries Claims Kim Kardashian Kept All Of His Money

Sources close to Kris Humphries say he has no beef with the story we posted yesterday -- that he made a bundle off of his wedding to Kim Kardashian -- but according to Kris' camp ... the bballer hasn't seen a penny and Kim has it all.

We're told before they were hitched ... Kim and Kris opened a joint account in which they deposited all the money they made from the wedding and other ventures. Our sources say Kris did indeed get money for selling wedding photos and appearing on the Kardashian reality show ... but they say all that money went into the joint account and Kris never got any of it.

Here's what's perplexing. Since it was a joint account, Kris would have as much access to the money as Kim. But sources connected to Kris say he's never attempt to withdraw any of it.

As we reported yesterday ... Kris wants millions from Kim as part of the divorce settlement, even though they were together in marriage for only 72 days.

Sources close to Kris tell us ... he doesn't even care about the money -- all he wants is an annulment.

Problem for Kris is .... in order to get an annulment, he has to prove the marriage was fraudulent, and that's going to be tough.

Kris' lawyer had no comment.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston's Daughter, In Oprah Interview: She Was 'My Everything'

In her first interview since Whitney Houston's death, daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown said she's "doing as good as I possibly can" and recalled the tender last moments she shared with her superstar mother before her sudden death last month.

"She's always with me," said the 19-year-old, Houston's only child and sole heir. "Her spirit is strong, it's a strong spirit. I feel her pass through me all the time."

Brown made the comments in a Sunday interview with Oprah Winfrey on Winfrey's network, OWN, that also featured Pat Houston, the singer's manager and sister-in-law, and Gary Houston, the brother of Whitney Houston.

Brown credited her family and God for helping her cope since her mother's death on Feb. 11 at the age of 48.

"It comes in waves. One moment I can be happy and laughing, but then it comes over me. It's my mom," she said.

Houston, who had struggled with drugs and alcohol in the past but according to family had been apparently clean, was found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on the eve of the Grammys. She was to attend a pre-Grammy party the night she died.

Brown said the night before her mother's death, she asked Houston to spend the night with her.

"I slept in her arms all day, all night long," said Brown, whose father is singer Bobby Brown.

Pat Houston said in the days before Houston died, the singer had not been abusing drugs, despite reports that she had been acting erratically. She said an event she attended two days before her death where Houston looked disheveled was particularly difficult because the legendary performer got into a verbal spat with a former contestant on the "X Factor." Pat Houston would not name the woman, but Stacy Francis has said that she and Whitney Houston had words that night.

According to Pat Houston, Francis "made herself present everywhere we were," unnerving Houston and leading to an argument.

The day of her death had been uneventful, according to her manager. Houston had lunch in her hotel and was preparing for her mentor Clive Davis' annual party. Houston was scheduled to tape an infomercial and other interviews that day.

Pat Houston went out to run errands for about a half hour and when she came back, Whitney Houston's assistant went to check on the singer.

"When I headed down the hallway (to her room), I heard screaming," she said.

When Pat Houston arrived in the room, she saw the singer's security guard frantically trying to revive her ahead of the paramedics. He told her: "I tried."

Pat Houston said the singer had "a peaceful look on her face." The cause of Houston's death has not yet been revealed.

The 90-minute television special also touched on the singer's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, who had a tumultuous marriage with Houston. While some have accused Brown of introducing Houston to drugs, leading to the once pristine singer's downfall, Pat Houston said that was untrue, and both Pat and Gary Houston had warm words for Brown.

"I loved Bobby Brown. Bobby was a good guy," said Gary Houston, her older brother. "I don't know how good they were for each other."

They also denied that the Houston family had asked Brown to leave her funeral service or didn't want him to come; Brown showed up briefly but left after a dispute over seating.

"Bobby was supposed to be there," said Gary Houston.

Pat Houston said Bobby Brown and his daughter have a relationship, but indicated they hadn't spoken since at least Houston's funeral.

Bobbi Kristina Brown said she planned to carry on her mother's legacy and become a singer, as well as act and dance. She expressed frustration over the "negativity" surrounding her mother's image: "That's not my mother."

Instead, she described her as her confidant, a sister, her best friend – "my everything."

She still spends time in the house she and her mother shared together, and at times said it's hard to believe she's not there.

"Sometimes, it's so surreal. I still walk into the house like, `Mom?'" she said. "But I've accepted it."

Simon Cowell is reportedly putting a sizable amount of money where his headline-making mouth is.

A week after telling Billy Bush he's "fascinated" by Britney Spears and impressed by her "star power" and "resilience," reports are now surfacing that Cowell and The X Factor producers have offered the pop sensation $10 million to come on board as a season two judge.

The news comes soon after Janet Jackson turned down a rumored X Factor offer and a few weeks after Cowell shot down the notion that he made a $100 million offer to Beyonce.

No word yet from Spears or any reps regarding the possibility of her hiring, but should she accept this deal? Would Britney make a strong X Factor judge?

On the down side, you don't get much of a feel for the jeans themselves. How would you know Armani jeans are any better than your average brand, when they're barely even displayed, much less accentuated, in this commercial?

Whitney Houston Will; Singer Leaves Everything To Bobbi Kristina

Whitney Houston left everything to her 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

The pop superstar's will doesn't mention specific assets, but leaves all of her furnishings, clothing, personal effects, jewelry and cars to her surviving children. Bobbi Kristina was her only child.

Inside Edition first reported the will, filed in Atlanta, on Wednesday.

Houston's money will be put in a trust. Her sister-in-law and manager, Patricia Houston, was appointed the administrator of the estate.

Upon turning 21, Bobbi Kristina will receive part of the money, more of it at age 25 and the balance at age 30. Houston's trustees can give her money from the trust for various purposes, including tuition, to buy a home and to start a business.

The will was signed on Feb. 3, 1993, about a month before Houston gave birth to her daughter. The 48-year-old died Feb. 11 in California.

Kelly Clarkson to Star in ABC Singing Competition Series

ABC is getting into the singing competition series game — with Kelly Clarkson and Lionel Richie.
Entering a field that’s more crowded than ever (and, given all the shows on the air, arguably more popular than ever), ABC is launching Duets.

The show has Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Richie, and Robin Thicke traveling across the country looking for undiscovered talent. Each star will choose two singers to be their duet partners. Together, they will take the stage each week and perform in front of a live studio audience. In the end, only one duet will win, with the amateur receiving a recording contract.

Clarkson called the talent show “completely different” than other broadcast singing competitions.
“They don’t audition like a normal process,” she says. “We get to collaborate with the artists that we choose. We get to go find the talent we really believe in.”

Desperate Testimony: Death of Nicollette Sheridan's Edie Approved by ABC Months Before Fight

Just how long did Nicollette Sheridan have that target on her back?

"The belief was, the storytelling of Edie had pretty much finished. Her character had run its course," former ABC Studios executive and current CW president Mark Pedowitz testified Tuesday on behalf of series creator Marc Cherry, who is trying to prove that Sheridan's complaints about him to ABC hastened her season-five demise on Desperate Housewives.

Pedowitz said that he signed off on Edie Britt's death during a meeting with Cherry and then-president of ABC Entertainment, Steve McPherson, on May 22, 2008—four months before Cherry supposedly hit Sheridan on the head during an argument on set, as Sheridan alleges.

"Who ultimately was the one who killed off Edie Britt from ABC Studios?" inquired Cherry's attorney, Adam Levin.

Replied Pedowitz: "I did."

"[Edie] was a main series regular and it required the network studio to sign off" on her character's exit, he explained.

Pedowitz said that he was the one who told Cherry, when he approached the exec about killing Edie in season three, that "there was more storytelling left" for Sheridan's character.

The CW exec recalled one other time in which he was asked to sign off on a character death, that being during Desperate Housewives' first season, when Steven Culp's Rex Van De Kamp, the husband of Marcia Cross' Bree, was axed.

But while Cherry testified yesterday that Sheridan's Edie was killed off for creative, financial and H.R.-related reasons (he claims Sheridan's behavior had become increasingly unprofessional), Pedowitz testified today that he only signed off on the move for "creative" purposes and Cherry never brought up the other two.

But, Pedowitz added, he did mandate that all ABC series cut costs by 2 percent in 2008.

Cherry wanted Edie gone "sooner rather than later," Pedowitz said, but he and other ABC suits wanted Cherry to wait until May sweeps in 2009 to do it.

In documents obtained by E! News, Cherry outlined various plot points—including Edie's death at the hands of her wacko hubby—for the coming fifth season in May 2008. Sheridan's attorney has questioned the validity of Cherry's notes.

The first time Pedowitz heard about the allegedly violent dispute between Cherry and Sheridan was more than a month after it happened when he read a story about it in The National Enquirer at the grocery store—after which, he immediately contacted the publicity department of ABC Studios to launch an internal investigation, Pedowitz testified.

"We did not want this issue to play out like it is right now in court," he cracked, eliciting laughs from the courtroom.

Asked why he didn't have ABC's human resources department interview either Sheridan or Cherry, Pedowitz said that he trusted H.R.'s expertise in the matter.

Outside the courthouse, Sheridan's attorney, Mark Baute, speculated that Pedowitz "could have been offered a severance package" when he left ABC in 2010. Pedowitz's contract was not renewed, but, as Sheridan attorney Patrick Maloney said in court, he signed on as an advisor to the network before being named president of the CW in April 2011.

"We feel good about the testimony from Mr. Pedowitz," Levin said outside the courtroom.

Earlier in the day, longtime Sheridan attorney Neil Meyer testified that the actress never filed a complaint with H.R. because she "was concerned about retribution" from Cherry and was willing to "put her head down and go back to work."

Demi Lovato's Candid Stay Strong Special: "I Cannot Tell You That I Have Not Cut Myself Since Treatment"

"If you took away music, I wouldn't have a reason to live."

That was one of the many raw and honest things a brave Demi Lovato said during her Stay Strong special on MTV tonight.

After undergoing treatment in October 2010 for eating disorders and self-cutting, the "Skyscraper" singer (really) opened up to viewers about her journey through it all.

And when we say Lovato was putting it all out there, we mean it...

"I cannot tell you that I have not thrown up since treatment. I cannot tell you that I have not cut myself since treatment. I'm not perfect."

Lovato, who was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder while in treatment, admits that this is an ongoing battle that she will have to work through every single day, and that the negativity she saw within herself started at the young age of 7.

The Disney star explained that she'd be "looking in the mirror and never feeling good enough. I felt like I was living a lie...I was dealing with all this pain, emotionally. And I felt guilt and shame. I decided to take it out on myself. I harmed myself."

Demi even shared that she had to continuously be on the phone with her sponsor during Thanksgiving so that she wouldn't throw up her meal. Thankfully, she made it through, but expressed that she felt guilty the next day.

"An addiction is an obsession, something that takes over your mind and your every thought. You think that you can't live without it. For me, it was not eating and purging and self-harming."

Luckily, Lovato found solace with her music and her fans, the Lovatics.

"Every time someone asks me for a picture or an autograph, even if I'm having a bad day and I'm in a bad mood, I remember, 'You're nothing without this person,'" she said. "They make it special."
