Awesome!I bought one of these at Toys'R'Us and have had so much fun. It hasn't had one problem and it's a lot faster and easier than walking. I know you may think that a kid's review doesn't matter but this product is targeted for our age group and I believe it's most important to know what we think of it. If you're planning on purchasing a Razor E200 and are having doubts, you shouldn't be. It really is amazing!

Razor E200 Electric Scooter- awesome!We bought this scooter for our daughters (7&8yrs) from EToys through [...]. Very pleased with delivery and package came in perfect shape (no damage). First we did the over 12hr charge. Then my husband tweeked the brakes, so that my young children could squeeze the brakes while riding. We also adjusted the wire & cables to figure "S" like shape along outside of height bar, and secured it with a tie wrap just below where you adjust the height. Just like noted by another review, the tire valve stem extension is inside the right side handle grip (just remove cap). This is not stated in the manual, but it is shown on the diagram that points out all the parts.
Our girls love this scooter and we do too, since it holds upto approx 200lbs. We just ride it back and forth down our sidewalk for about 5 houses down the street, and in and out of driveways. We have been careful not to turn it on it's side since we read comments that this can break of parts. Other neighborhood kids (ages 6-11) have tried it also and they say it is so cool, and of course want one too. There have been no problems and we have had it for about three weeks. The battery charge does last longer than the 40mins, usually about 50mins. You do notice at about after 30min of riding the scooter does not go as fast as it did in the beginning (only like 2MPH slower). WE have really enjoyed this scooter and we remain safe and stay in control, no going super fast around corners and always wearing a helmet and keeping a watchful eye on the kids while they ride. Have fun and enjoy this cool scooter.

Great little ScootI purchased this for my 8 year old. This has been a joy of his for quite a few months. It runs well, peppy and the battery seems to hold up for a very long riding period. He has had times in excess of 1 hr. riding around the house and driveway.
The only thing which is minor that annoys me is that when you corner very sharply the chain protector drags the pavement. No damage is done but it seems this part of the scooter should be higher off the ground.
Overly recommended for children of appropriate ages. Get your child one, they and you will not regret it

Just what I was looking for!!This scooter is great. My daughter got it for her 8th birthday. I almost bought a slightly faster model, and I'm glad I didn't.

QUIET and so funWhen my 11-year old started begging for an electric scooter, we were very hesitant. A neighbor has one and it's the stand-up kind with a VERY loud motor that drives us nuts on the weekends. We gave in, and went shopping. While we were reviewing the standing scooter, we noticed the Razor Pocket Mod and it was the SAME PRICE! I, of course, thought it was adorable and my daughter was easily swayed.

It was easy to put together and charge, however pumping the tires was a wee bit difficult just because of the angle required. The tires are nice and fat/sturdy, too, so riding offroad or over small rocks wasn't an issue. The biggest thing we noticed though, was that it is AMAZINGLY QUIET! What a blessing compared to the neighbor's noisy scooter! It practically 'purrs' and you don't even hear it until you are right next to it.

Seeing her ride it is incredible! It is VERY easy for any child that can balance and ride a bike. The handle brakes/gas takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few days she was a pro! Her papa rides a motorcycle, so he was dying to check it out. Weighing in about 180lbs, he was able to ride it as well! My daughter got a big kick out of that.

The battery lasts quite a while! An hour may not sound like a lot of time, but if it's not continuous (kids stop/start chat/ride/play) it can last hours. It charges quickly and easily, and it's small and fits well in the side of the garage. Though she's 11, we were told by the salesman that younger kids who are responsible can definitely ride it.

This is the BEST ITEM we have purchased for her in YEARS! Highly recommended!

Cute productMy teenage daughter wanted one of these, and is now very happy with it. It's not a full sized scooter, but works out well where we live. I'm in a private gated community with private streets, and this is not designed for public streets, as the manufacturer makes clear.

It has a surprising amount of pep, enough speed, and handles well. It will supposedly handle the weight of an adult, (220 lbs) and was still peppy with me on it. But when I tried to get it up my driveway from a complete stop, it choked on it. Had I been moving, it might not have been an issue, but this is more for the kids.

Assembly is not trivial, but not difficult. It's not going to be ready right out of the box, and the instructions don't quite match the actual packaging. The included throw away tools are not what you should use for assembly, which took longer than I would have expected.

The tire valves are in an area with limited room, and my standard tire gauges could not get in there. Neither will many air pumps.

Yes, some things could be better about it, and the warranty is short for this sort of product, but for the price, it's well worth it. Your kids will have fun.

great scooter, great priceBought this scooter for our 5 yr old to work on balance and coordination. He loved it and figured it out almost immediately. The big wheels are great for not getting caught up on cracks, small stones or small sticks like small wheeled scooters can do. Platform is nice and wide for comfortable riding. Adjustable handle fits our 3 yr old too who wants to also learn. Folds easily for storage or travel.

It is so much more stable than the original and having more room for your back foot becomes realy handy.

Good looking and strongThis Razor A3 scooter is a great step up from the inexpensive, less robust scooters you'll find in many stores. Very strong: my 11-year-old weighs about 100 pounds and it has easily absorbed use and abuse from him and his friends for months.
The large wheels are a great feature, as is a neat adjustment which you can use to keep the handle secure to the base without rattling. The hand grips are very comfortable, and are also the part most likely to wear first, but they are easy to replace if you ever need to.

Lots of FunI purchased this scooter for my 6-year old's birthday. It has been a huge hit. She previously had a 3-wheeled scooter also by Razor that just didn't move fast enough. The only problem is that all the neighbor kids and her 3 year-old sister want to ride it so much that she doesn't get to ride it as much as she wants. It is solidly built and has a very smooth ride.

high tech version of low tech fun and exerciseScooter is sturdy, well made and looks great! It glides smoothly and handles nicely. Low to the ground with nice handle bars and grips. I bought this for my grand daughters three years ago and
they had never ridden anything but little kid toys. Each easily learned to handle and ride with very few mishaps. I think it is pretty safe for a ride-on type toy. (we bought helmets and thankfully have never had any bad landings). Now three years later I am still watching them ride working up a good healthy

Beware of the PackagingI ordered this for my 7-year-old son as a Christmas gift. Santa was supposed to bring it for him. But, as I was backing out of my driveway, with my son in the back seat, the Fed Ex driver pulled up and brought the package to my car window. The scooter was shipped in it's box with pictures of the scooter all over it (instead of being packed in a shipping box.) So, my son saw the box and knew it was for him. Since there is no way that Santa can bring this for him now, I just gave it to him. He does love it and can use/ride it well. So, I'm giving it 5 stars. But, buyers should know that it is shipped in it's box and not packed in another plain box.

Product Review
This model is way more than a toy. It's evident from the first look that it really is a pro model scooter. The grip tape covers the entire deck. The underside of the deck is double reinforced so you can grind with it. The grips are big so they're comfortable in a big person's hands. All around, a really quality item. We've had this scooter since Christmas, and my son has done some pretty hard riding on it. He is about 5'8, 150. The thing is showing no wear at all. The thing I like best about it is that it's just silent. The wheels are amazingly smooth. He rides his skateboard and it makes a racket in the driveway, but when he scooters, it makes no noise at all. So, needless to say, weekend mornings are scooter time!
