WELL - ARE WE A LOVER OR A FLIRT?

It’s a great joy to receive the changes that God wants in our life, even if at times it can be up-setting and even hurtful. Looking back most of our struggles have been caused by our own selfishness and doing and planning our future by our flesh and carnal minds rather than obeying God's word which instructs us all to; "Take everything first to the Lord in prayer.....and always be led by His Spirit.....” and according to Romans 3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes." and in Romans 8:4 "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.".....Romans 8:5 says; "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the spirit the things of the spirit." We are warned in verse 8 of the same Chapter...."So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." Finally in vs. 14..."For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

I have spent some time thinking about my relationship with my Heavenly Father and creator and asking myself "How much do I really love Him??" Even in RFC we have two types of Christians; 1. Those who are sold out daily and committed to His Love. 2. Those who are just a Flirt. What does the dictionary state a Flirt as being? "One who has superficial interest, traits or deals with in a wasteful and non-serious manner, in it for only what they can get but no commitment whatsoever."
I have been asking myself daily: “If I truly love God would I not be continually seeking, yearning, pressing in and committed daily to His destiny, plan and goal for my life?” If so, all things and all my desires would be consumed with seeking His face and presence!! My answer was - I was not committed and consistently seeking His face and Presence. Now a lot of the time that was my desire and aim, but there was still hours that I could of been more diligent and committed to God.

The next question I had to ask myself was: "Why was I not pursuing Jesus and what was I pursuing?” After all He is my only reason for living, He died for me and my sins He gave his life for me, so that in this world I may have ABUNDANT LIFE. The Apostle Paul stated in [Matthew 6: 24] “That we can not love TWO MASTERS equally but that we will LOVE One and hate the other, or else be loyal to one and disloyal to the other”. The word hate is a very strong and powerful word, it contains feelings and emotions of malicious and selfish distain for other people. God sees it as this: To love less than we have been called, ordained and commanded to is nothing less than to HATE. In Mark 12:30 we are instructed: "We shall love the Lord our God with ALL our heart, with ALL our soul and with ALL our mind and with ALL our strength. Then in 1 John 5:3 we read there also: "For this is the Love of God, that we keep His commandments, His instructions and teachings and that His commandments are not burdensome". If we put those two scriptures together it means that our love for God must be demonstrated and this demonstration is in Persistent and Continuous SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE to Him. At times this may seem an up-hill and daunting task in nature but our Heavenly Father has not left you and I to our own devices. So great is His LOVE and COMMITMENT to each of us that He has given us:

1. HIS WORD. [2.Tim 3:16-17] [Psalm 119: 105 ,130]

2. His Holy Spirit [Romans 8:26]

These two gifts have been given to us all, to ENSURE that we are all able to Super-naturally do this. Without these we cannot truly LOVE GOD and we are just FLIRTING WITH HIM.

We are told in 1 John 1:5 "If any one loves the world [lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, the pride of life] the love of the father is NOT in him”. In the end it’s ALL OR NOTHING for you and I, to do otherwise is to be a Flirt. God is not deceived and not to be mocked. [Galatians 6:7]. Daily we can choose to close ourselves from HIS LOVE and seek our pleasure and future. We can end up SHIPWRECKED destroying our relationship and the gift of FAITH that we have all been given. Don't forget that God's gifts and blessings can never replace Him and we must at all times seek Him and not His gifts and blessings. We are all called in 2007 to be LOVERS OF GOD and not just flirting with Him. FAITH is a relationship of LOVE with God, and the moment things become central in our relationship with God we are no longer in FAITH and daily living in His LOVE. We are warned about the story of the Rich young Ruler in [Matthew 19:16-22] where he walked away from Jesus and stayed where his true love was - in His earthly treasures. Flirting with God is just another form of RELIGION and the result is a "Form of Godliness which denies His power" from such people we are to separate ourselves. What are you seeking today? Jesus, things, people, influence or treasures of this world? Ask the Holy Spirit of TRUTH that lives in you He will show you your TRUE HEARTS CONDITION at the service.

There is a City to touch!

Greetings in Jesus Precious and Holy Name. Friends, what a joy and an honour to be chosen of God to prepare and build the Glorious Church which Jesus is coming back for. It is being built now in the world by and through God's word and the anointing and super-natural power of the Holy Spirit that came into the world on the day of Pentecost which has never left. NO MAN, WOMAN OR DENOMINATION can build it, only Jesus Christ Himself. Today Christians are either building the Glorious Church or are hindering what the Spirit of God is doing. We at RFC aim continually and daily to be led and complete the building and fulfil the God given vision given to us.

There is a City to touch! A nation to reach! A world to change! Together in unity and Love we will make a difference. [Romans 15: 16] "That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost."

EVANGELISM:
1. The foundation starts with God. God wants every man and woman alive to be part of His Family. The people all need to be told of the Goodness of God. They have already been forgiven by His Grace through the death of Jesus. We must reach out and tell all the people about this truth and God's goodness.

2. We all need to make a daily commitment to reach out to all the lost, asking the Holy Ghost to give us a Passion to do this.

3. The message has always been the same: only Jesus can change lives and only He is the way to God, there is no other name by which man can be saved.

4. Every man, woman and child needs to hear this Good News: that God loves them and sent His Son Jesus to save them.

5. Evangelism must be the central call of RFC [the local church]. It’s the main reason for its existence. His saving grace is available to all who come to Him.

6. When you proclaim the Gospel message, share your faith, introducing the lost to Jesus Christ it gives Glory to God.

7. God empowers you when you go and share your Faith with the lost people. When you do you will discover your God given gifts and special anointings as they have been given by God so we can fulfil the task of Evangelism.

8. Signs and Wonders and Miracles will always follow the Preaching of God's word. We must never forget that it is only the Gospel that contains and has the Power of God unto SALVATION - to all that believe.

The challenge is are we prepared to CONSECRATE and DEDICATE our lives in this day and hour to obey the ministry of Re-conciliation which we are all called and ordained to achieve. Ask the Holy Spirit to put you in a place and position where God can use you. We must give God the right and acknowledge He has claimed you and your future for His work and Glory. Never forget, we cannot save, heal or deliver anyone, it is only Jesus, He is the miracle worker, the financial blesser of our life. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End of our life and everything in between. It is going take FAITH for us to live in the REALM OF HIS GLORY. Never forget the Voice of Faith is always VICTORY. Our life and future belongs to Him and Him alone. The main way we can please Him is by reaching out to the lost through Evangelism. Only those believers who are hungry, submitted and obedient will find favour with God. Your words and actions prove and show God that you do mean business and have gratitude for what He has done and continually doing in our life.

Remember, Jesus is your best friend, tell Him you want to stay out of the Sin Business and remain doing His business. In [Hebrews 11:6] we read; "That with out Faith it is impossible to please God”. Doubt and un-belief are SIN. In Romans 14:23 we read: "Whatever is not of Faith is Sin." Sin always separates us from God. In closing Family, its time we all obeyed God and His word and put the devil and his fallen angels on notice. Jesus defeated and striped them of All Spiritual power and ability.

We all daily confess NO to sin. No to sickness. No to disease. No to failure. No - we will not accept anything that he has to offer us. Through the Blood of Jesus and the authority and Power that is in His name he has to obey and depart from our life, fellowship and Family. GLORY to GOD. No more discouragement, no more demonic harassment. Always remind Satan that in LUKE 10:19. "He has given us POWER over ALL the enemy and nothing shall by any means Hurt us”. PRAISE GOD isn't that awesome great NEWS.

Confess daily: We are Victorious, we are the Head and not the tail. We cannot be defeated, we are successful. We reign day and night with Jesus as we have already been redeemed and the JOY OF THE LORD is our STRENGTH. [Neh.8:10]. Never loose sight of the fact that we are all SERVANTS OF GOD and the LORD JESUS CHRIST. [James 1:1]. Can God trust us His servants? Remember what {Matthew 15:8] records "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth and honoureth me with their lips but their HEART is FAR from me." Make a decision to walk in Faith and not in your Flesh, of which the end is Death and Destruction. Amen.
