Aarambh IG Report:

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."- Nelson Mandela

With this motive, under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, IEEE MANIT Student Branch successfully conducted the twenty-second edition of "Aarambh". We, the members of IEEE MSB, travelled to the secondary Government School in Khapra Village where we stimulated students toward Science & Technology Advancement by teaching them practical lessons on the same, besides we also counselled them about career prospects during and after schooling.

Aarambh is a social initiative by IEEE to teach students of poverty-stricken backward schools having limited resources about science and technology.

The students in the class were very interactive, curious and pure-hearted (they asked cute questions). The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr Pushpender Yadav, Faculty Coordinator, IEEE-MSB and Dr Jyoti Singhai, Faculty Coordinator- IEEE-MSB.

One can master it by simply knowing all the important concepts(by reading Reference books) and being familiar with the type/level of questions asked(by solving practice booklets).

You will not need any other reference book other than NCERTs for JEE-Main.

For Problem Solving Practice

*Solve:

This book is more than enough for JEE-Main Physical chemistry numericals.Even this book will help you in JEE-Advanced.Solve this.

One can easily master class 11th physical chemistry by your “जोड़-घटाना” skill .Chapters like mole concept , chemical equilibrium can be done without putting any effort.But for chapters like ionic equilibrium, thermodynamics you should have much grip on your concepts,and a lot practice for questions.You can do that with help of above mentioned book.

For Class 12th Physical chemistry Chapters like Coordination compounds, surface chemistry read them thoroughly from NCERT for better understanding. Chapter like Solutions, Chemical kinetics includes the easiest numericals I have ever found. Some Questions’ answers need direct formulae.

Coming to the next category is Solid state which needs better visualisation and implementation.Rest for Electrochemistry, you should know : all the important concepts and a lot formulae of Ionic Equilibrium , writing the equations for the reaction going on the cell; for that too Do the numericals

I believe that you can ace some chapters of this subject in Exams without any practice if you have crystal clear concepts.

2. JEE/NEET/Comp. Exam Aspirants:

You guys should focus on your coaching classes and the study material provided by them i.e. more than sufficient for you. But if unfortunately you missed the class or you are not getting a grip on your class teachers then go for the reference book and books mentioned above.

If you have missed your class for any issue then Do not waste your time in attending backup classes unless you learn that chapter by yourself.As I have seen students wasting their time roaming for the teacher to explain the chapter/topic. Please don’t do that.For any cases; you can take help of Online learning platform.

Hi Everyone

I have recently attended SSB at 2 AFSB Mysore for NDA-144 .

So I am capable of answering your question.

I got Call Letter (Revised) Email on June 27 2020 ( A month prior to interview) And cases around 30k+ were rising each day on those days irrespective of the situation they held it although they had the enough time to cancel it , but they didn't.But they compiled each candidate to follow proper guidelines , keep at least 3 pieces of Reusable Face masks, Face shield , Hand sanitiser and proper belongings needed for the stay.

You may also asked for Covid-19 negative certificate/Asymptomatic at many places e.g. I was asked for the same in hotels, roadways etc. Also on Board they keep Students maintaining Social distancing.

As of now SSBs Aspirants are given dates for SSB Interview in the Month of August. So SSBs are holding SSB-2020 Interviews taking Necessary Precautions!

They are sending back candidates who are not in possession of proper precautions especially Face masks, Face shield , Hand sanitiser And Asymptomatic Certificate.

To Ensure that you must not get infected by the fatal virus take above mentioned precautions whether you are appearing for NDA/SSB/JEE/Or any other Exams take them to the Examination center.

You can prepare for the NDA in 15 Days.

1. Assuming that you are done with the basics of class-11th and class-12th.You can easily score well 200+/300 in Paper-1 w/o any Effort. You have to put your focus on Paper-2 which contains :

i)English( Marks: 200)

ii)General knowledge (Marks: 400)

You can also easily solve Paper-1's (Mathematics) 80-90 Q out of 120 Qs in 2:30 hrs with a little time framed practice. Practice basic question of each chapters for example in Vector 3D practice simple questions like distance between Plane and line , Condition of two planes being parallel etc.

Tips for Exam:

1.Before the Exam

•Prepare as much as you can.Don't feel that you are done with the Preparation.

•Don’t panic.

•Take good sleep in the last week of the Exam.

•Try to study and not to sleep in the paper's timing(10:30–13:00 & 14:00–16:30)

•Don’t Ask your friends for how much they are prepared also ignore. answering such question.

•Don’t think of the Exam Outside the Examination hall..Also don't talk to your friends.

2.During the Exam

• Attempt the easy questions first.

•Don’t take questions as a Challenge as it will stuck you on the same question for long.Leave it thinking of the other questions.

•Don’t frustrate if don't get answer to a question or if you wasted time on a single question. Always remember to focus on the time which is left.

•Focus on the Paper and not the Classroom surroundings.

• Don't Cheat.

3. Between Paper-1 & Paper-2

•Don’t talk of paper-1, also ignore those who are doing this.

•Sit Silently alone, have lunch.

•It is advisable to eat less and eat light food .You can also eat fruits.

•Don’t move out of the center as you may get late for the Paper 2.

4. After the Exam overs

Move straight to the home and have food and take rest. Then by night you can check your score ( As generally Answer sheet comes by Evening).

If you are scoring 380+ In the Exam out of 900 then you are safe to get in the merit list. Sit back and relax .

Q: How much time will I get after the 12th Boards for the NDA Exam?

A: Hi Everyone.!

Before Jumping straight right into the Answer, let me tell you two things:

1.NDA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year which are called NDA-1and NDA-2 conducted in month of April and November respectively.

2. Board Exams generally ends by the third week of march but State Board Exam may last upto April's first week.

•Assuming your board exam ends on third week of march you will get about a month for your preparation.

•But if your board exams lasts upto April's 1st week then you will hardly get 15 days for your preapration.

Considering above points you need to quickly brushup all your Topics which will not need much effort, I guess if you have prepared sincerely for your board exams. After doing this, what you need to do next is Go through the previous year Question Paper to have an idea on what type of queations are asked and your grip on them.
