After many days of playing and completing daily quests today I saw some footsteps in the Valley of Eternal blossoms.It took me nearly 20 minutes to follow them and finally I found Portent in the middle of the valley ( near the two giant statues ). I putted a hunter's mark on him and tamed him .I tamed the red version of Portent and I can say that I like it a lot . For me the blue and the red versions are the most attractive.For now I use BM only for PVP ...so my Portent won't be very useful to me ,but maybe in future I will make some raid with my guild and if they tell me that they need me as a BM hunter...there will be much work for my Portern qilen pet.My hunt for the exotic pets of Pandaria will continue and I hope that soon I will have the luck to tame another interesting pet.

Zumio is a 90 lvl troll hunter and he has a channel on youtube. Few months ago he decided that he will stop playing WOW. The reasons were many ....

This made me very sad because I've learned a lot from his videos about PVP. Now I'm watching some of my favorite Zuimio videos and I just want to share them with you ,because I think that most of them must be watched by every hunter.

I hope that something will happen and Zumio will start to play once again :)

Stable change for hunters

There is more information about patch 5.3 with each day ,but as you all know the most interesting info for me is the one about hunters. So today i woke up and I saw another very important and interesting change- a "stable"change.

As you all know to this moment all hunters were able to stable 20 of their pets in the stable master and take the 5 most favorite with them. But now with patch 5.3 Blizzard are increasing the amount of stable pets from 20 up to 50.

This is very good news because now we will be able to gather much more rare and interesting pets , because of the larger space that we are going to get in the stable.

Until now I was collecting only useful pets and very few of my pets were in my stable because of their looks. If you are a BM hunter now you can gather all of the spirit beasts ,rare Pandaria pets and still have more room for other interesting pets. And you wouldn't be forced to get rid of a pet because now need other pet more.

So on the end of this post I would just like to say Great job Blizzard !

BM or Survival ???

This is very important question for me....which one is better for PVP - BM or Survival ???

I am currently Beast Mastery in PVP ,but a Survival hunter in PVE...As they both are making a lot of damage I am wondering which one is better ...

I still think that the BM pets are underestimated by other players and this is very useful in the arena and battleground battles ,but the survival hunters make a lot of DoT damage.

So I would like to hear your opinion :) BM or Survival ..and why is one of them better that the other ?

Forgotten Depths Hunter drops

As you all my know the second part from the new raid Throne of Thunder was released this wednesday. I've searched the drop tables and gathered the hunter loot from the three new bosses.

Tortos is the name of the first boss in the Forgotten Depths. From him there are 3 items for hunters:
-Beady-Eye Bracers
-Quakestompers
-Shattered Tortoiseshell Longbow

The second boss is called Megaera.The drop from him is :
-Quadra-Head Brooch
-Grips of Cinderflesh

And the name of the third and final boss from this part of the raid is Ji-Kun. The hunter items from him are:
-Leggings of the Crackling Protector
-Pinionfeather Greatcloak

There are also items that can be dropped from all of the bosses in the Forgotten Depths:
-Miracoran, the Vehement Chord
-Abandoned Spaulders of Arrowflight

So as you can see there are many good things for us hunters in the new part of the Throne of thunder. I'm very happy that there are two bows because I prefer to play with bow and it's very interesting for me how are they going to look like.

I had pretty big luck today. I was making battlegrounds when I decided to skin some of the panthers nearby. I took 3 of them and when I looted them I saw the pattern. I am very happy with my luck today because as you may know this pattern is very important with the new patch.

Today I went to Kun-Lai Summit to make some archaeology. The dig site was near Shado-Pan Monastery and when I landed I saw something strange...Something little and brown....It was a track.

And few seconds after ..another track appeared next to it. I used my flat immediately and I saw Stompy.After few seconds he was my friend forever :)

Stompy is my first rare Pandaria pet and I am very,very happy ! I wish you all the same luck !

Direhorn- The new hunter pet

There is going to be a new tameable beast with the new Patch 5.2 -Direhorns. So far those pets are not exotic and if this stays like that the Direhorns will be available for all hunter specialisations.

There are going to be five different kinds of Direhorns on the island-white,green,red,orange and blue. Below you can see a map with the locations of the different Direhorns on the island.

The important thing here is that you will need to get Ancient Tome of Dinomancy . This tome will allow you to tame Direhorns and without it you can do nothing. For now I don't know where you can get the Tome ,but it binds on a pick up so you won't be able to get it from the AH or other players.

For now the only known ability of the Direhorn pets is called Reflective Armor Plating. This ability will Deflects all spells cast in front of the Direhorn for 6 sec. It will be a channeling spell and it has 30 sec. cooldown.

The new spirit beast-Spectral Porcupette pictures

One of the most important things from the new Patch 5.2 for the BM hunters are the new spirit beasts. The new pets are Spectral Porcupette. The name of the new beasts are : Degu, Gumi and Hutia.

Degu is the red one and he can be found in Krasarang Wilds. Gumi -the blue one is located in the Kun-Lai Summit. And the last pet is called Hutia - he is green Spectral Porcupette and his location is in The Jade forrest.

Maybe most of you have noticed that some of the dinosaurs in the new Isle of Giants are devilsaurs. So I hope that we will be able to tame them. If this happens we will be able to get red,blue and yellow devilsaurs. Now I have white one and I love him ,but I will be very happy if I get some of the new ones. With the new Patch 5.2 we will see the new sets-Tier 15. Most interesting for me is the Hunter Tier 15 and today I saw what our set will look like. I don't know what you think about it ,but I like it very much....infact I love it ! Finally we will have set wich don't have undead elements and it's pure,100% Hunter looking set. So for now I only have the pictures and nothing more about the Tier 15 ,but I am happy to share them with you and I think that most of you are going to like them. I will be happy to read your comments about the set . Enjoy and keep hunting !

While I was searching for rares in the north part of the Jade forest, I found a pool of water. It was like shrine and when I went close a saw something sparkling. I clicked on it and it turned out to be a dagger-Wodin's Mantid Shanker. Later I found some information and now I know that there are many hidden treasures in Pandaria. I think that those items are harder to find that the rares ,so this will be even more challenging to accomplish. The dagger is account bound and I will keep it in my bank.I can't use it ,but for me it some kind of treasure.

Today I killed Sarnak and he dropped me a pair of leggings with item level 400 and Fishsticker Crossbow wich is 420 item lvl. The drop rate of this item is only 14% so I feel very lucky. I've putted the crossbw in the Auction house ,because I won't use it ,but I hope that it will bring me some gold.

My first rare in Pandaria-Mister Ferocious

I'm very happy to tell you that yesterday I've killed my first rare in the new continent of Pandaria. His name is Mister Ferocious and he is a hozen. He had 1,264,632 health and three abilities:

-Bananarang

-Going Bananas

-Toss Filth

The fight was quite long and it was like no rare fighting in the past.He dropped me mail pants-Grookin' Grookin' Trousers and Small Bag of Goods.The was a Golden Lotus in it ! I've also made an achievement-A Worthy Opponent.

So here is the proof of my kill. The hunt continues...

I'm finally in the new continent of Pandaria and for the next 10 days I will try to make as much exploration as I can . I will mostly concentrated on professions and pet battles ,but I will also try some of the new dungeons and battlegrounds. I am sure that it will be very interesting for me and I hope that it will be the same for you !

I think that all hunters know which are the new tipes of pets that MoP will add. More interesting for me will be which of the new pets is goind to be the most popular and the most often used.

It's not only my opinion that in MoP the BM hunters are the best choice for PVP and maybe even for PVE.But the two new BM pets (Quilen and Water Strider) are not very useful in PVP , I wonder what will be the most common pet from the other new...

Here is a brief info about all of them again. I hope that you will tell me what will be your choice in the comments below :)

Basilisk

Tenacity Pet
Many colors and Azeroth tames, in addition to Pandaria ones.
Special Ability: Petrifying Gaze. Petrifies the target, reducing movement, attack and casting speed by 10%. The target will be petrified at 5 stacks, stunning them for 5 sec.

Crane

Cunning Pet
7 colors
Special Ability: Lullaby. Puts the target to sleep for 4 sec.
Bonus Ability: Trick. You command your Crane to do a trick.

Goat

Ferocity Pet
5 colors
Special Ability: Trample. Your goat tramples the enemy, kicking up an obscuring cloud of dust, causing all enemies within 10 yards to have their spell cast speed increased by 50% (25% on player targets) for 30 sec.

Porcupine

Tenacity Pet
6 colors
Special Ability: Paralyzing Quill. Fires paralyzing quills around the porcupine, incapacitating all enemies for 2 sec.
Bonus Ability: Rest. You command your pet Porcupine to take a rest.

Quilen

Exotic Pet, Tenacity
6 colors
Exotic Ability: Eternal Guardian. Returns the spirit to the body, restoring a dead target to life with 60% health and 20% mana.
Special Ability: Fearless Roar. The quilen lets out a fearless roar, increasing the critical strike chance of all party and raid members by 5% for 2 min.

Water Strider

Exotic Pet, Cunning
4 colors
Exotic Ability: Still Water. Infuses all party and raid members within vision with still water, increasing their spell power by 10% and their critical strike chance by 5%.
Exotic Ability: Surface Trot. Allows the Hunter and the Water Strider to walk across water for 10 min. Any damage will cancel the effect.
