If I had more money to spend on me….wow, that could be a really long post! But, actually, what I was pondering recently is what would I buy for myself if money was not an issue? One line of clothing I would have in my closet would be Eileen Fisher…I love the minimal, casual, ease of the knits and just the overall style for this time of my life.

Alas, I do not have the income for Eileen Fisher…but I can try my best to get close to the look and that is why I was drawn to purchase this jacket after Christmas at Stein Mart. With coupons, it was $22 and I really like the way the knit feels and looks. I think I will get much wear out of this one especially as I transition to spring. I do want to make note that I like it better unbuttoned and open, but for some reason took the pictures this way. Next time I wear it on the blog, it will be open. Open is more flattering!!

Speaking of warmer weather, today in San Antonio we are expecting close to ninety degree temps! So, I am loving my new sunglasses by designer Carmen Marc Valvo! Valvo’s professional career began as a ready to wear designer for Nina Ricci in Paris followed by a stint at Christian Dior. This was after he attended Parsons School of Design in New York and soon became known for his fit and masterful detailing. In 1989, he launched his own sportswear that was an instant success; but, it was the launch of his Couture collection in 1998 that captured the hearts of the buyers at Sakes Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

Today, he is known for his sportswear collection,shoes, limited-edition jewelry designs, swimwear and a now a highly anticipated eyewear line. He brings to his designs an aesthetic for glamorous dressing which was founded in the roots of a Spanish/Italian family in New York. Women's Wear Daily (WWD) wrote of him, “Over the years, the designer has demonstrated the talent to do it all.” I love the classic beauty of these glasses and will most likely live in them as summer nears.

Finally, my hands are ready for summer after a month of using hand cream from The Organic Skin Company. I am always painfully aware that our skin and system absorb what we rub on to it and that it why I try to pay attention to what is in the creams I use. This hand cream has worked wonders for keeping wrinkles away and I do not have to worry about what is in it. Check out their website…they have many products online.

I am dreaming of dresses these days as the temperatures heat up. Dresses and skirts are the best alternatives in Texas heat, but in summers past I have found myself too often dressing as I am today in denim and jackets. Last summer, I wore skirts more and this summer I hope to add some dresses to the closet.

Cousineau’s mother taught her many things from sewing clothing to loving hard work. “I learned that whatever you do in life, do the best you can and people will notice,” she said. She now encourages young women to do what they love and not be afraid of hard work. “I worked at a coffee shop and restaurants while building my business… often in double shifts. Success does not happen overnight. It wasn’t glamorous, but I loved the journey,” she said.

For women over 50, Cousineau believes it is important for us to explore what is in our hearts, because we can never go wrong doing just that. For us, she recommends the classic cuts with contemporary prints. She said, “At any age, this approach is appropriate.”

“Karina Dresses are so flattering and comfortable that is impossible to deny just how wonderful you feel,” she says. “And when you feel wonderful, your day is just better.” She believes that women need to love their shapes and sizes no matter what those shapes and sizes are. “How you feel transcends all you do. I support women loving their unique beauty in all sizes because love is the way…nothing can come from negative thoughts.”

Love is the way for Karina Cousineau…she believes the mission of her company is to build it based on simply loving her customers back!

Chicos+Pedicure+Rosemary…..That Did It!!

I have to confess that I woke up yesterday on my day off in a pretty deep funk. There were three big stress factors hanging over my head…(one being my weight)…and I was finally letting them all get to me….after a couple of weeks of buildup. Now, I usually don’t allow things to get me down, but when there are several big ones with me in their sights….it is hard not to be affected. So, I understand when we all occasionally get that way.

I am sure this audience has a variety of things that you will do first. But, the only way I, personally, can ward off a serious funk (the kind which keeps a woman in bed or parked on a couch in front of the television) is to pray. After I cried out to God for a time and then prayed over my family, I felt like going out into the day. Little did I know that a few precious gifts waited for me outside my door.

First, I really needed to go shopping though I really did not want to. In two weeks, I will be standing in front of the attendees to the Texas Style Council’s Blogger’s Conference in Austin. I am going to moderate a panel discussion about blogging and journalism. Guests in the panel with me are

These Texas Style Council Ladies know how to have fun!!

I need to look and feel my best. Chances are pretty good that I will be the oldest at this conference, so I want to look stylish, fun, youthful, and chic…all at the same time. Ines de la Fressange has been in my mind for the type of look I want. The picture I carry around is posted here. Two big problems loomed over this decision: My slight weight gain and serious funds for shopping!! After looking over some of my usual haunts, I made my way to Chico’s. That put a smile on my face. Their sale items were wonderful and abundant! Though I have gained back some of the weight I lost, I am still down a size at Chico’s….for years I was a 3 and 3.5. Now, I am a 2!! Other smile-factors included a beautiful, attractive store; very helpful salespeople; a new large dressing room with a three way mirror inside and I got to use it! I also think I have found the perfect look!! With my Passport membership and the coupon from the mailed catalog, I left there laughing over how reasonable the jacket and top totaled. You will have to wait a couple of weeks to see what I wear to the conference, because, of course I will blog about it.

Since, I felt much better….I decided to stop and get a pedicure with a gift certificate my son gave me. Being in a better mood, I decided to live on the wild side and selected an army green color by OPI that I have never tried before. Saying good bye to callouses and the massage chair, just made me even happier.

Then, I went home to walk the neighborhood. Part of my weight gain over the holidays came from eating lots of sugar and flour, and not exercising at all. But, I have now walked 6 days out of the last two weeks…so I am back to it…and hoping to get back to weight loss. On my walk, a neighbor I did not know came up to me and said, “Would you like a handful of rosemary for your kitchen? I just trimmed my bushes and I hate to throw it away.” SCORE! Another unexpected blessing!

Now, I realize this is a long post. But the morale of this story is….get out! If you are in a funk and feeling down, just go out into the world…you never know what blessings and precious gifts you will discover!! Yes, those pesky big problems are still there, I just can face them better today!

So, how do you get out of a funk??

Zelda Kaplan: Lessons in Visibility

I did not know Zelda Kaplan. But I wish I had. I have read several eulogies of Zelda in the past few days and it’s not the fact that she is the ultimate New Yorker, an incredible style icon, very funny, with overboard energy in her 90s that captures my attention. But, I am taken with the fact that she died at age 95 doing what she loved…sitting on the front row of a fashion show during New York Fashion Week. While sitting in the Fall preview for Joanna Mastroianni's collection, Zelda quieting slumped over and elegantly died. I would welcome the chance to live until 95 and then pass on doing what I love. But…what would that be..I wondered.

Maybe, I could simply slump over…

1. When surrounded by my family around the Christmas tree opening gifts.

2. Or while attending a Broadway musical

3. Or shopping in Nordstrom’s

4. Or eating lunch with Gigi at a fabulous restaurant

5. Or in a Bed & Breakfast in Fredericksburg, TX

6. Or at a fashion show….but it should be a really fabulous designer!!

7. Or eating ice cream…wait a minute that might actually kill me before 95!!

Tom Van Riper, Forbes.com, identified this week five retailers struggling and fighting the good fight to stay alive. Here are a few of the highlights from the article:
"As retailers crawl out of the worst recession in decades, many realize that they overbuilt and have too many stores. Declining sales have forced several chains to pare down their number of outlets and, in some cases, file for bankruptcy.U.S. chains announced roughly 3,000 store closings in 2011, down from the 5,000-plus announced in 2010, according to Retail Traffic, a trade publication that tracks retail real-estate trends. One result is that the nation's malls and shopping centers are reporting near-record vacancy rates as anchor tenants retrench.

Sears (SHLD), the nation's biggest seller of household appliances, is struggling. Department store chains like Macy's (M) and J.C. Penney (JCP) are treading water, while apparel retailers like Gap (GPS) and Talbots (TLB) have fallen victim to changing fashion preference

And while the job market is improving and consumer credit is easier to get, a renewed spike in store closings can't be ruled out in 2012, according to Retail Traffic. Especially vulnerable are consumer electronics chains, which are under intense price pressure from Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) and don't have many hot new products coming to market. Meantime, store openings will likely come from discounters like Family Dollar Stores (FDO), Dollar Tree (DLTR) and Wal-Mart.”

They said NO SALES...looks like a sale to me!!

By now you should know that I am fascinated with fashion retail and being a part of a healthy, productive conversation to help retailers stay alive.

Spring Transitions: Now or Later?

Having flowers around my classroom this week and warmer weather outside, put me in a little bit of a spring mood! Though normally I want the cold to stay around as long as possible, I began to long for the colors of spring as I stared at my dark closet.

But, I do not want to pull them out too soon…so I will try to wait a little while longer, after all

1. The groundhog saw his shadow.

2. The fashion world is discussing next fall.

3. If I pull out the spring colors now, then I will tire of them too soon.

4. Spring Break is officially three weeks away.

I do like to attempt a gradual transition, by lightening up outfits with soft colors of t shirts and camiis under a jacket or cardigan…maybe wearing a white jacket….brighter scarves…and beginning to nix the dark tights.

JUST A NOTE:

I need to make a confession! My wardrobe has few new pieces in it. I hang on to things!!! I tell you the stores so that you know where you might find a similar piece, but often I purchased at that store a long time ago. I always cringe when a comment says that the writer is going to head to that store that day to look for that item. The blue cardigan I wore yesterday I have owned for at least two years! Also, I cannot remember the last time I paid full price for ANYTHING…I am a sale, bargain, clearance-rack shopper to the max! I love to find jewelry at consignment/resale shops!

Everyone is talking about Fall 2012...I have to admit, there are some great looks on the runway!!

Blue on Blue: From Clothing to Grammys

Remember the Bobby Vinton song…Blue on Blue, Heartache on Heartache?? I thought of it today when I put this outfit together. Now, it’s in my head…can’t get it out!

But, speaking of music, did anyone else feel old during the Grammys this past Sunday?? I haven’t watched any awards ceremonies in a long time, but the sudden death of Whitney Houston led me to watch the Grammys since it was to become a part of my Current Events lesson for class on Monday. I was already feeling sad about Whitney….such an incredible talent and such a sad story.

Then….here come the Beach Boys! I slept out in the rain once for Beach Boys tickets so I could be near the front….to dance on a chair throughout the concert…it was so much fun! But, Sunday night….they were old…they looked old…they sounded old…and Mike Love even grabbed his right arm once and I thought, “OH NO, he is going to have a heart attack right there on the stage!!” After they sang, I felt sad.

To add to the pain….this was followed by a performance with Glenn Campbell and a tribute to him. I actually enjoyed him a little more…knowing he has Alzheimer’s disease…I thought he was fun and did really well with Rhinestone Cowboy.

Paul McCartney Grammy Night

As in all things, there was a silver lining around the corner! The whole night ended with a performance by seventy year old Paul McCartney…I do not know how the man does it…but he just doesn’t look or sound as old as he is. He hopped around from the piano to the guitar and jammed with the top electric guitarists of the evening including Springsteen. He had that cute, joyful- Paul- look in his eye that has been there since his 20s. While the younger generation was mass Tweeting, “WHO IS PAUL MCCARTNEY??”; I was singing and dancing along with him.

Also, I downloaded his latest CD, Kisses on the Bottom….if you love Frank Sinatra or Michael Buble or Tony Bennett or even just jazz…you will love this! It is so different from anything he has done. But, the music will mentally take you to a dimly lit, romantic New York setting where he serenades with just a piano, acoustic guitar, and a snare. I love it…but he has been singing to me (yes, just to me) since I was 11!!

Long Jacket Love and A New Contest!!

AHHH, Mr. B sent beautiful yellow roses for Valentine's!

Gigi and I both showed up on Valentine’s Day in our fun long jackets!! I have worn this Chico’s jacket several times on the blog…there is a bit of padding in the shoulder so it is a little more exaggerated than I like. But, my favorite way to wear it is with leggings....cannot wear those to work. I would love to have a couple of jackets like this that I can wear with leggings…but it will have to wait for a while.

You may notice that Gigi has on sandals and I have on flats with bare feet…we went from freezing cold rain in 24 hours to 80 degree sunshine!! Such is the case around here…I think we are expecting cold rain again this weekend…it is challenging for the wardrobe.

Happy Valentine’s Day, all! I can remember hating this day when I was a school girl…all the “pretty” girls got flowers, candy, attention and I usually walked away with nothing but depression and self- loathing. Oh, if I could just capture those times again and walk through them with the understanding I have today. Love comes from a variety of places and I no longer cry because it might not come packaged as the rest of the world thinks it should.

Maybe you won’t sit on a romantic balcony tonight…or receive a bouquet of flowers…but you can look in the mirror and know that you are a blessing to other people. Experience joy this day and go bless someone else. Sometimes, all it takes is a smile!

Joanna Coles: New Visible Icon

Lately, every time I see Joanna Coles, editor-in-chief of Marie Claire, I am drawn to what she is wearing. Coles portrays a strong, minimal, creative, chic look which I have been aspiring to for the past eighteen months. Most recently, she has been the “Tim-Gunn-figure” for Project Runway All Stars, and she always enters the work room communicating “I am in charge.” She is visible...but not screaming out "look at me."

What does it mean to have style icons? For me, it means that there are some women who consistently communicate the messages I desire to also communicate with my style. They are reliable and not all over the place. My FOUNDATIONAL FIVE GUIDELINES were developed for myself after studying other women whose choices I respect. If you compare my looks in the beginning of this blog up until now, you will see that I have toned the accessories way down. This is the influence of women like Ines de la Fressange and Coles.

Yet, since I love creativity, I try to keep a touch of it around….like Diane Keaton. Minimalism is so new to me, but I really think it fits where I am in life right now. The past, over-the-top-me was trying just a little too hard!! Right now, it means toning down the accessories just a bit and being happy when I wear mostly neutrals (sometimes there is no reason to add on extras). It also means careful attention to prints and color.

Has the Economy Killed Romance?

Four women sitting around a lunch table recently and in the middle of a conversation about what our adult children are up to, one said,
“I told my husband no flowers for Valentine’s Day or candy….I just want a gift card for shopping.”

“Me too,” said another, “Flowers die so quickly…I want something that lasts. I promise to think of him when I wear the purchases!”

I said, “Hmmm…does that kill the romance?”

“No! I will still light candles and lure him into the bedroom….I just want some shopping money…flowers are expensive, you know!” (Laughter followed)

They explained higher gas prices, higher grocery prices, higher insurance rates…well, let’s face it, higher everything had depleted their personal shopping money and now they want it back…for special occasions. But, one did say that the gift card should accompany a box of candy!! (Again, laughter)

Looking for something to do today? Why not make it a Goodwill (or your favorite thrift store) Saturday? Treasure hunting can be such a fun way to spend a little free time; however, be careful not to buy just to buy. You want to make sure it goes well with your current wardrobe and has great fit….but have fun!

After all this is our sport of hunting, and in Texas we will tell you that the thrill of the hunt is what fuels the seasons! Don’t get down if you do not find anything, just go back out there again soon. Remember, many women clean out their closets this

time of year and the thrift stores overflow.

Thank goodness it is Friday…even though our weekend is forecast to be rainy and cold! We are actually beginning to see the end of our drought and that is very exciting. Current predictions have the amazing Texas wildflowers returning in a big way this spring…I can’t wait!

First off, Joy Sewing wrote an article for the San Antonio Express News about happy, confident dressing…something I try to discuss almost every day here. You can click on this link for the entire article which mentions these five points to challenge yourself:

"1. Wear Things that make you happy.

2. Add color, it’s a mood booster

3. Let go of negatives. Forget your stomach or man boobs. Focus on fit.

4. Dress like you’re happy even when you are not…it helps.

5. Be neat – always".

I would agree with all of these…however I am not always neat…but number four works! Choose to dress happy and act happy even if you do not feel it and things will feel better!! Sewing also interviewed Jennifer Baumgartner, author of You Are What You Wear: What Your Clothes Reveal About You (Da Capo Lifelong Books, $16).

Most of you know my fabulous friend, Gigi!! Today she is modeling a skirt and blouse from the W by Worth Spring 2012 Collection. I am so in love with these pieces…the colors…the fit…the strong, chic look! She is rocking it!

Not only is she stylish, but, Gigi is the ultimate atelier…..an art instructor par excellence! Gigi believes that EVERYONE can draw, and she will accept no excuses. It is amazing what she is able to do with her students. Rodeo week is a huge event for them, because every year she has students who will win thousands of dollars for their Western paintings. One of her past students funded her entire Bachelor’s Degree with one painting.

Gigi is one 50+ lady making a difference in the lives of others! She is a dear friend and the one who talked me into writing this blog!

Inspiration Looks: Mere Reflections

Harper's Bazaar Street Style for Fall 2011

One could think the same of the inspiration looks so many fashion bloggers mimic….one is a beautiful reflection of the other …yet, unique in the eye of the beholder. I saved this inspiration look from Harper’s Bazaar when the Fall 2011 lines were previewed. Obviously, it took me a long time to interpret the look, but I finally got around to it. Believe me, I so wish I had her jacket!!!

Are Emotional Fashion Decisions Legit?

Do you hate a certain color or type of clothing because your mother forced you to wear it again and again when growing up? Do you have an aversion to plaid because of the private school uniform you were forced into for the first 13 years of your life?

Do you hate pencil skirts because you think slimmer ladies wear them better? Well, apparently our emotions are often tied to our fashion choices. Some professional stylists say simply, GET OVER IT! BE MATURE! LEAVE THE PAST IN THE PAST!! But, sometimes, it is not that simple.

I recently visited my mom in the hospital and with a large group of family gathered around her bed, she proceeded to tell everyone how much I loved the homemade clothes she sewed for me and how great I looked in them. She spoke with passion and flair of how I was the envy of so many girls in my small Texas town, because of the clothes. (Of course, this was after she told me she doesn’t like my hair color!!) All I could do was sit there silently and think about how much I loathed those clothes all the while processing bad memories of one day spent as a marshmallow and another really traumatizing Southern Belle moment. When I was finally able to buy my own clothes in actual stores, it was a great, great day!!

Another great day was when I was in route to a teenage cast party with a freshly sown party dress in tow. I lept from the car in a rush…slammed the door…caught the dress in the door…and chopped it in half. My mother was horrified…I was inwardly rejoicing. Unfortunately, she took it home and made it into a blouse!

Now, I completely understand that she made these clothes out of her love for me. I just was embarrassed to be seen in them when my high school peers were wearing cute, store-bought clothes. My mother was far from Project Runway material. I handled it the way I handle most challenges… I sought a solution and as a teen, I got a job at a boutique in the mall…and spent my income on their clothes.

Maybe we should all get over it…be mature…and leave the past in the past…but when someone tells me they have a hang up about a certain style or color…I kind of get it!!

One More Blast from the Past: As I said yesterday, this is rodeo week in San Antonio. I grew up going to rodeos all over the state and my favorite memories were the ones where I met all of the cast from Bonanza...one of my favorite TV shows! I met Ben and Hoss at the Fort Worth Rodeo and Adam and Little Joe at smaller ones. So, I dug out my precious autograph from Michael Landon to share with you....it is in my keepsake box...which does not hold any of my mother's homemade clothing!!

Rodeo's bring fond memories from my childhood!! Hmmm...maybe that is why I like western wear!!

Denim Shirts and Cowgirl Hats: Let's Rodeo!

Monday marks the beginning of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, voted seven years in a row the top indoor large rodeo by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. Also, over the years the Rodeo has provided over 113 million scholarships for local youth.

For the next two weeks, rodeo is an excuse for the most over-the-top-Western attire to be worn often! So, we pull out the denim shirts, cowboy hats, boots, turquoise, silver, leather, and feathers and enjoy all the cliché comments about Texans!! It really is a fun time and we are San Antonio proud whenever the rodeo rides into town. Over this past weekend, the trail riders arrived from their time fighting the elements and the San Antonio Spurs rode out for a lengthy road trip where all local eyes are not on them for this short amount of time.

It seemed appropriate for VISIBLE MONDAY to celebrate the Rodeo's visibility with a denim shirt and Western belt. For the most part, my Western wear is very understated. Though born and bred Texan, I have never felt comfortable in a Cowgirl hat…and I have tried often! But denim and jewelry…bring it on! Let’s Rodeo!

KOHLS Defense and Our Shopping State of Mind

Last week, I wrote a post about JC Penney’s new marketing approach. By the way, if anyone has gone by JCP since they slashed prices for good, please let us know your observations!!

But, that post brought some interesting comments and got me to thinking as to why some of us see retailers so differently. I believe it is a variety of factors which are influencing us as we walk into a store to shop:

1. How much time do we have to spend in the store?

2. How much money do we have to spend?

3. What are our personal-style likes and dislikes?

4. Our size…yes, it matters how we feel about where we shop! (One of the comments was KOHLS does not offer enough petite sizes and that is a legitimate concern for petite women)

5. What kind of mood are we in when entering the store…grumpy, happy, bad day, good day, etc.

6. Do we have any pre-conceived beliefs about the store...it would take a lot for me to change my memory of Sears growing up. I just do not see it as high fashion. But, Target turned it around beautifully....Jason Wu tomorrow!)

7. Have we had prior good or bad experiences at the store?

8. Quality and variety of merchandise!

One comment on the previous post about KOHLS said that the reader believes KOHLS embellishes every garment. This one baffled me, because some of my most minimal basic designs come from the KOHLS collections by Vera Wang, Dana Buchman, and Jennifer Lopez. All of these designers also have embellished pieces in their KOHLS collections, but like the tunic, I am modeling today, there are many selections which are basic and unadorned. Also, I have found the Lauren Conrad and Elle collections to be a bit more embellished. My Simply Vera long sleeved T shirts are just T Shirts in colors I like with great fit….nothing added. I do enjoy shopping there for many reasons…great offerings, easy access and affordability are at the top of that list.I had some pre-conceived negative ideas which grew in the last two years toward Macy’s, but I am willing to admit that Macy’s has made some positive marketing purchasing and promotion decisions that I like. I am happy to return there as a shopper once again. I also want to encourage the woman in the mirror (meaning me) and all of my readers to be aware of what might or might not influence our perceptions of a retailer and try to keep an open mind. But, we will all have our favorites and that is what makes the fashion world go round!!

There are several things I attempt to do every day which help me feel younger. The list includes:

1. Eat Healthy

2. Move around….and not sit as much

3. Stretch my wardrobe with creativity

4. Meet someone new

I will not pretend to say that I do all of these every day. But, I will tell you that I make a determined effort. Number two is honestly the hardest one right now. Between teaching and blogging and writing, I sit for long periods of time.

I believe seeking ways to meet new people daily is something else that will keep us vibrant and youthful. The easiest way is to meet someone through a blog or Twitter or Face Book. But, I also like to strike up a conversation in line at the grocery or while shopping. I have met some sweet, fascinating people at checkout counters. Since becoming a blogger, I have also met some incredible women in my community just telling their stories and featuring their businesses on the blog.

Number three is important because I do not have a lot of shopping income, so I have a wardrobe full of separates….which is obvious if you read this blog. You see the same bottoms…whether skirts or pants…over and over again. However, I really attempt never to repeat an outfit. There is so much you can do with a few great neutral pieces surrounded by creativity. It’s fun and it is economical.

February….hearts…flowers…love…lace…It all seems to go together! So, a celebration of lace is a great way to begin this month as Jill and Adrienne planned.

However, I have decided that there is a bit of arsenic in the lace decision for women 50+. Yesterday, I awoke fully intending to tackle the lace challenge with a beautiful lace cardigan I own. I have worn it before and each time it brings compliments. But, when I looked in the mirror, I thought, “Geez, I look like I’m old!!” I tried another lace tunic…same feeling….at that moment lace was making me feel elderly.

it for some reason!

It wasn’t until I put on the blue jacket, that I finally felt youthful in something with lace. This one had more design…better fit...more style...and personality.

What are your secrets for staying forever young? Clinton Kelly shared a few this week on his ABC Show, The Chew. "Being a nice person keeps you looking younger," Kelly said. "Negativity eats away at your insides." I completely agree with him here!

He also said that all women over 40 should wear styles which are 75% classic to 25% trend. "You need the little details to modernize classic style," he said. I would probably agree with that as well!!

Finally, the super foods we should eat every day are crispy seaweed, ground bee pollen, and ground flax seeds. I am just curious...do any of you do that?

Comfort Dressing and Visibility...on the Beach!

Road Trip!! Mr. B and I headed down to the Texas Gulf Coast on Sunday to visit family. I certainly realize that the upper Gulf Cost is not where you go for beautiful beaches, but it was nice to get out and see everyone.

It was also nice to have so many places to take pictures…I just could not decide which setting was the best…so you will just have to tell me if you prefer the bird watchtower, the umbrella, or the fishing pier! When I know I am going to be sitting in a car for six hours, I usually go for comfort…and I am so glad I brought my coat because it was very windy and cold on the beach. Wind was a real photo challenge...you should see the outtakes!
