If you're a Kevin Pollak junkie, like me, you're probably willing to sit through some cheesy movies, so that you can find the gems, like The Usual Suspects. Unfortunately, this movie is nowhere near that good. Basically, it's a by-the-numbers serial killer movie, with elements of Saw grafted on. I wasn't really expecting anything better than that, so I wasn't disappointed. Most of the performances were passable, and the direction was alright. There was a little bit of gore, which was well done, and a plot twist that worked well enough for the kind of movie this is. So, should you watch this movie? If you've got nothing better to do, and you can find it on a streaming service, like Netflix. Otherwise, pass.

Is it clever writing or just another Saw rip-off? Is it disgusting or necessary to move the story and the central idea forward? Can you stomach it or would you rather see a more philosophical approach to the whole "choosing" game (psychologically it is interesting)? Can the movie do justice to the central idea or not? These are all legitimate questions, that have to be answered.

Do not forget to visit us often because they often add new movies and believe me most of them are just masterpieces of cinema. To watch this movie online click on the links!

Watch Double Indemnity (1944) Online

2011-01-14T22:56:00.000-08:00

Film noirs are great and great film noirs are works of art. In 1944 Billy Wilder directed "Double Indemnity," which is a great movie by all accounts. Shot in black and white and featuring shadows, cigarette smoke, men wearing fedoras, and a femme fatale this is a tale of greed and lust in Los Angeles.

Double Indemnity (1944) was Wilder's third, but first stylistically serious film, and is given credit for the birth of film noir, literally "night film". This term describes a visual style and moods of a type of dramatic film, usually crime, that's much more gritty and realistic than most films prior to this era.

The double indemnity in question refers to an accident that occurs in an unlikely setting, making the insurance settlement double the agreed sum. If Mr. Dietrichson was to die by falling off a moving train, the wife would receive $100,000 instead of $50,000. Naturally, the insurance company will investigate to be 100% sure that they have to pay; hence the plan needs to be foolproof. Walter makes sure that he has an alibi, he has Mr. Dietrichson sign a life insurance policy by telling it is form for his car, travels on foot so that no one will recognize him on the bus, and only meets Phyllis at a grocery store. Everything is perfect but it is bound to fail.

Did you Watch Double Indemnity (1944) Online? Receiving bad quality movies from those illegal websites? All annoying viruses, Trojan horses and mall ware which fake downloads contain? I guess you are also more than done with it.

As we dip further in the thickness of the plot, we will get acquainted with the hostile attitude of villagers towards Mary Blackwell and her two daughters Alice and Sam. The major twist in the story occurs when a local priest of the village, namely, Michael Howdy starts eyeing Alice in an unwanted romantic-cum-detrimental way. The apparent reason for his love interest in Alice roots from the fact that some time ago, the priest had lost her wife in a coupe-accident and finds, Alice redolent of his wife.

The element of surrealism and supernatural arises further when Michael is kept under meticulous vigilance of villagers named Harry Price, John Elliot and Tom Hopkins, who comprehends his adulterated angles for Alice. While you watch further, you will get a sneak peek of Michael's psychological ailment that ruins his sanity and hence, he becomes helpless. Season of the Witch is a perfect example of a horrifying retribution of villagers towards an unclear cause that is realized by them later. Two exorcists literally remove the skeletons from the cupboards from people's homes. Some fairly embarrassing secrets are revealed along the way. A case where the skeletons have hidden themselves turns the lives of all those involved.

I hope as many people as possible are given the opportunity to see this gem of an independent movie from a first time director. This is further proof that you do not need a massive budget or international superstars to make a genuinely interesting film that challenges and entertains at the same time.

Watch Skeletons 2010 Movie Online For Free

Someone told me this week that it is easier to get a film made than to get a film distributed. I don't know if this is true or not but I am delighted that people cared enough to get this film made and screened.

Nothing about this film is conventional and it is difficult to describe it without giving too much away but imagine "Men in Black" made by Charlie Kaufman. Or "Don't Look Now" made by Terry Gilliam. That might give you some idea.

We all have skeletons in our cupboards and these are the "Skeletons" referenced in the film's title. Don't expect crucifix-wielding exorcisms but prepare for a refreshing, intelligent suggestion of how people could look at their lives.

This film is not perfect but is certainly worth searching out.

Hollywood /Bollywood Lookalikes

Some of these actors are so alike, if you had a brief look you probably wouldn't notice the difference. For so many years i have thought about the likeness of Bollywood and Hollywood actors and now i am sharing it with you. ENJOY!

I've watched so many Hollywood movies and many Bollywood movies too. I wanted to show you the actors that have similar looks in Hollywood and Bollywood.

Bollywood films and actors are very good but not as good as Hollywood films and actors. Acting is a talent and not everyone has it. The Bollywood actors photos and the Hollywood actors photos show the distinguishing similarities between them if you look closely.

Hollywood has always been on top of the movie chain and always will be, i believe. Bollywood has come quite far in the film industry, and have the highest number of releases each year compared to any other film industry.

Nathan Eswine Is Leaving The Random Blanket Show

2010-12-28T19:38:00.000-08:00

This week Nathan Eswine announced he is leaving RandomBlanket's web show, The Random Blanket Show.

After nearly a year and half, Nathan Eswine (the co-creator and co-host) said season three of The Random Blanket Show was his last.

"It's time for me to move on." Eswine said. "I feel my part in the show has run its course."

Nathan played a number of characters in the YouTube awarded show, as well as doing all the production work and design. Eswine feels he has "grown up," and wants to create more mature material.

Nathan commented, "I feel like it's time to branch out of the family comedy section and move on toward a more gritty dark dramatic PG-13 feel."

Fans might disagree, but Eswine seems to think the show could go on.

"The show doesn't have to end," he said. "It's a big change to the show, which I feel is a good thing, actually. There is plenty of potential for my sister, maybe Abigail will start something of her own. I see it as a bittersweet positive for the show."

His co-host and sister, Abigail Eswine may continue. Eswine said he could possibly produce his sister's show if she were to create one.

Nathan was recently seen co-starring in two episodes of Showtime's The Big C. He is currently working on developing his own production name and in pre-production on his short film.

Eswine closed with, "This isn't the end of my works, I'm simply leveling up in what I want to accomplish."

The Pacific DVD Set – Best Price for The Pacific's DVD Set Is Now OnlineI really think that TV has reached a pinnacle with the Pacific DVD set. I have

2010-12-24T10:02:00.000-08:00

I really think that TV has reached a pinnacle with the Pacific DVD set. I have been totally mesmerised from start to finish and laughed as well as cried along with the three principle characters involved. As a miniseries Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg have totally excelled and created an awesome masterpiece.

There have been plenty of previous World War 2 epics but none that have touched on the conflict with the Japanese quite like this. The Pacific DVD set takes us from start to finish through the eyes of three marines who were actually there living in the hell of those battles.

Using accounts from Robert Leckie, John Balisone and Eugene Sledge combined with real and historical events the horrors and very grim realities of war are made very graphic and you soon begin to realise the hardships that were suffered by these brave men.

If you have never been in combat it can be difficult to imagine how debilitating both physically and mentally it can be but, you are left in no doubt as to how fighting not only a formidable and relentless enemy but exhaustion, starvation and the effects of malaria takes its toll and no holds are barred.

There are some very compelling scenes during the different battles that are both thought provoking and very humbling too. Just when you think all shreds of humanity are gone due to the brutality of war you are exposed to acts of kindness that leave you astounded with a great sense of humility.

You need to keep an open mind with this miniseries as there have been comparisons to another block buster in Band of Brothers but Pacific is not about a whole platoon and their leaders it is very personal and specific to those three individuals and their war and you really get a sense of the men and who they were.

With scenes away from the battlefield at home and on leave it can be hard to watch the mental battles and personal suffering that they all endure because of their war experiences making ordinary life hard to adjust to.

If you never buy another World War 2 DVD but you love a good story with plenty of action then get yourself the Pacific DVD set. It is all the more poignant I think because you know that the hardship, trials and tribulations that you are watching are not based on Hollywood fiction but hard facts and they really were there living the nightmare.

How to spend less on films this year

2010-12-21T21:27:00.000-08:00

If you're a real film buff it's more than likely that the mere thought of the amount of money you spend on your hobby is enough to bring you out in hives.

It's the same way with almost every unembarrassed (or should that be slightly embarrassed?) passion - just be glad yours isn't skydiving or collecting rare stamps.

Still, though, with the big spending period of Christmas out of the way and the good intentions of New Year on the horizon it's well worth taking a moment to think of the many ways that you can save money on this passion without compromising on your love of the movies.

There are several ways to save from the the minute you go to see a must-see flick at the cinema or at a film festival up to the point when you settle down to watch an old favourite on blu ray or DVD at home.

Sometimes these two ways of saving can be combined: for example, some DVD rental services now offer free cinema tickets for new members.

This often adds up to a lot of money saved, especially if you'd otherwise have gone to the cinema at peak times.

A number of loyalty cards and schemes also exist which offer money off cinema tickets.

However, it's generally not the versions of these which are run by the cinemas that offer the best value for money but rather those which are run by more experienced rewards operators.

For example, a UK mobile phone provider offers two-for-one on all cinema tickets to its customers on every Wednesday and a certain supermarket with a rewards scheme also allows you to exchange reward points for cinema tickets for a fraction of the tickets' value.

Another option for saving money is to improve your home film viewing experience.

By signing up to a service such as Lovefilm - which offers rentals through the TV in high quality and allows them to be streamed immediately - for example.

However, this service requires an internet-enabled TV so it does require some initial investment. On the other hand, a more conventional DVD rental service can offer savings on a large scale without the need for any initial outlay.

Since the service charge the same amount no matter what the format of the disc is they're also ideal for blu ray rental since these high definition discs can be very pricey.

Downloading movie is a very cheap source of entertainment and healthy for monthly budget while keeping the level of enjoyment to the highest. Instead of watching the movie in theatres of on DVD it is the best to watch movie after downloading. I am saying so because of the following reasons.

First of the quality is the best one.
Secondly you can download the movie on the day it releases.
It is a money and time saving deal.
You can not go to theatres again and again to watch the movie as it would be very expensive but you can watch it over again and again after downloading it on to your PC
Buying a DVD is also a waste of time and money as first you would have to wait for months for the DVD release and by then the taste of watching the movie gets spoilt. Secondly after watching the movie a few times the DVD stop working because of the scratches.

There are many other reasons but apart form stating them I will further continue about how and from where to download movies directly to your Pc safely and legally.
