Decisions

I was thinking about the shitty decisions in my life but I notice there was a pattern with bad decisions.

1. I make worse decisions when I'm losing.
2. Emotions are essential part of all decisions and when I get too emotional - it will tend to be a bad decision.
3. I tend to dress up bad decisions as great ones.

To solve it:

1. Write up your decisions and that prevents you from being too emotional.
2. Realise that you can't get too emotional with decisions.

"Learn How To Decode Chick Language"

“I would never cheat on you,”

Translation: I would never cheat on you as long as you don’t piss me off too bad or as long as you don’t piss me off too many times and as long as you make me happy and I don’t get bored.

"Let's Just Be Friends"

Translation: Either “I don’t want to have sex with you anymore, I
want to have sex with somebody else." or, "Im going to use you and abuse while I go look for someone better. The story was about a journalist who wanted to see how animals were treated in a circus. He went in and saw two elephants, one huge old one and another a small baby elephant.

He notice something strange. The big elephant had a tiny rope wrapped around it's ankle, whereas the small baby elephant had a big chain tied to it's leg. He was curious and asked the circus owner why he did that.

The owner said that the baby elephant needed to learn where his boundary was. He put the chain there because the baby elephant was strong and can escape easily if he had a rope. The baby elephant would try so many times to escape that it has to be reinforced

But... if they use a chain on the baby elephant, why they used a rope on the adult? The owner explained that because the adult elephant was taught from a young age he can't escape no matter what - and that idea or thought was permanently engraved into the elephants mind. So the elephant was conditioned that putting anything around his leg would prevent his escape.

This reminds me when i was young. I was fearless, couldn't give a shit.. and then once you go to school and they put crap in your head, and then you go to church and listen to religious figures and they put more crap in your head...then you watch TV and there's so much crap in there that the crap solidifies and turns into rock.......then you listen to your friends and family and so much crap is in your head that more shit turns into rock......then you listen to politicians and some of the rock shit gets so squashed that it turns into some sort of diamond like material....and then you hear about blah blah blah...

I could go on and on....

But i wouldn't torture you anymore (actually i would like to torture some of the people above but that's another story) and there's actually some wisdom to the above people and things.
But the one thing that prevents us from doing most things that we really want to do is this:

We are our own worst enemy

Like the adult elephant, we don't realise we're strong enough to do what we want but we're prevented from doing it because our own beliefs. The mental image is so strong that we won't believe that we can do it. When you were young, you had infinite wisdom. As you grow older and older, you get scared because people said so and therefore it prevents you from doing the things you really want to do.

So i have a few solutions for all of you that are bitching:

Stop being such a pussy (that includes me...)

Stop being a whiner or bitch (that includes me and you)

Stop listening to hypocrites and pussies (that's almost everyone)

.....now get down and get dirty.

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/SOLP/~3/-bwleYCoiow/how-to-be-pussy-not-pussy-cat-ie-whimp.html" title="""How To Be A Pussy This is a disease that most desperate people are trying to do. Because they get what they want from someone, they try to make everybody have in return for something.

Trying to be nice to everyone will make you miserable. Although you may think you're doing a good thing, it will suck all the energy away from you and people will exploit you.

For example, i remember last year i was at this party. There was this guywho tried to make everyone happy. He was cooking the bbq, cleaning the dishes, trying to make everyone laugh with his stupid jokes........basically being a butt-kisser.

Now, on that day i had a huge headache and couldn't be stuffed doing things, like cooking the bloody sausage i bought over. Me being evil and lazy - i ordered the 'butt-kisser' to do all the cooking for me. He was a good cook by the way and a hell of a very nice guy.

I finished my meal and i couldn't bother walking to the other side of the house to put my plates in the garbage. So when i saw the butt-kisser walking pass, i told that guy to clean the shit for me. And he did. I then told some other people to tell him to do the same.

Basically, all the people were exploiting him.

So there you go, stop kissing everyone asses.

How To Run A Kick-Ass Money Making Restaurant Business

Friday 12:48am
Sydney, NSW
Sleepy and stuffed.....

Howdy....

Today at work i was so busy that i didn't have no time to eat. During the afternoon, I rushed from one place to another and eventually was 45mins late at my other workplace.

When I walked to the building I see three people waiting at the door for me. It was raining hard and I can see one old lady with no umbrella and drenched wet, another old fart (he was staring at people intensely - to see where the fucker was, ie me, and a gay guy (he actually looked and acted gay). By the way, this is a normal day for me. I'm not proud of it but fuck it.

So I went to the door and see all these guys staring the shit out of me. I expected them to spit on my face or do something like that.

I wouldn't blame them if they do that. If you're standing in the rain for 45 mins, soaking wet and in a lot of pain I would paint the shop window with feces.

Anyway, all three of them said that i booked them at the same time.

ahhh.... I forgot about that.

So the gay guy walks towards me...

he then slowly and carefully said to me - like he is going to kill me or make love to me...

"....the old lady and guy has been waiting for a long time - you better take them in first. Just rebook me in for next week."

phew!! what a relief...

now, what kind of excuse should i give the old woman and man?

so i thought... stuff it i didn't bother giving them a good excuse, i said i was late because of traffic and that's that. I guess they're in a lot of pain and they need to be treated anyway.

hahaha!

actually.. i shouldn't laugh.

I treated both of them and then finally i was done for the day. I was bloody tired and bloody hungry that i could eat a bloody steak with bloody mushroom sauce.

So i walked to this bloody decrepit restaurant and order a bloody medium rare bloody steak - with coke... umm i mean a bloody coke!

Now, this waiter was one of the most rudest asshole around, he said that there's no bloody steak and the only thing available is a pasta and that's all there is. There were no other choice.

At that time, i was so buggered and hungry and ordered it.

I waited for forty bloody minutes and was served some sloppy piece of crapola. It was one of the most disgusting piece of shit i ever eaten.

sigh...this is karma.....

Anyway, the moral of the story is that the goal of making money in the restaurant business are not: having good quality food, excellent service and is inexpensive. But a good restaurant business should be: serve and charge any shit to hungry customers. Same thing applies to other businesses. For example, if you were locked up with 5 people for days without food and your the only one with a big chocolate bar - how much would they pay for it?

But the above is not the real moral of the story......don't be friggin late.

How To Stop Dementia

Tuesday 1.20am
Granville, NSW
Sitting bucknaked writing this shitty blog

Howdy,

Twice a week I work in a nursing home. Whenever you go in there, a putrid smell will hit you. You look up and see people wandering along the corridor aimlessly.

You talk to them and it seems like your talking to a brick wall.
A walking zombie.
There's no life in there. Years of wisdom and memories scooped out of them.

And then you talk to the other resident who can at least talk a few sentences. You can see it in their eyes, they know they going to waste in this prison shithole and their mind is slowing turning to mush.

One of the resident from the Balkans who can only remember the war. The loud sounds of gunfire and explosions constantly rewinds into her memory.

During the day, she screams and imitate the sound of gunfire:

"Ba-ba-ba-Bang! Bang! Bang!"

And then you see residents walking around with shit glued onto their pants. Glue-sticky-smelly-crappy-shit.

Almost most of the people I meet who are over 70's years old that still have the memory and mind still intact are generally lost people.

They complain that the years has passed by so quickly they didn't even realized it. You turn 20, and then you pass 30, then 40 and so on.... until you're an old fart who suddenly realize that haven't achieved much in life.

They have regrets. Usually what i hear from them is that only if they go through one of their crazy ideas - what would've happened?

They live a life of being too safe. They did the usual thing 'normal' thing like start a family, work like a slave for years and then retired.

But what if they try one of their ideas? What if they took the enormous risk? Would they have any regrets?

Think about this? Are you doing the same shit you're doing for years and think you're too old to start fresh?

Well if you do, then life will just pass by. Before you know it, you be 80 yrs old with nappy rash, wandering around aimlessly like a zombie and smell like rotten fish.

It's no good being safe, you need to take risks - it stimulates your mind and prevent your brain from rotting. No point having a life so you can please someone - you have to do it for yourself.

How To Use Words To Influence People

Saturday, 3:37pm
Granville, NSW
Lazy Saturday sunny afternoon at home

Howdy,

I'm listening to this marketer about how to sell stuff. He had an idea.

Let's say God had sent you a gift from heaven and the gift he was going to give you was a woman. You will able to choose only one woman from the 100 women he will show you. The woman that you choose will be with you forever and will be impossible for you to get another woman.

But - the only way you can choose this woman is by reading a letter from each woman. Now, you wouldn't choose a woman that says in her letter that she's kind, sweet and loves to cook and then that's it.

You would choose the letter that would say everything about her in every tiny details and explaining all the benefits to make your life great. It wouldn't matter how long the letter it was, the most important thing is how is she good for you.

Another example, if you read blogs, what article you read first? Normally, the headlines would catch your eyes first. Usually, if the headline is not interesting then we won't bother reading the rest of the post. If the heading intrigues or benefits you, you become curious and you then proceed to read the rest of the article. If the article is about the secret of getting what you want in life with no effort and money, you would read the whole article and it doesn't matter how long the article was - as long it gives it you all the details on how to achieve it.

Catch you later

What Woman Want

I had an idea today. Let's say there's a very good looking and classy lady in a high class party where only billionaires and celebrities are allowed.

Now, let's say there were four guys at the party and she had to pick only one guy to take home.
One guy was a multi-billionaire, another a handsome ladies man, then a movie star (lets say this guy is Brad Pitt) and lastly a scabby rotten looking heroin dealer.

Ok. Which one do you think she go home with tonight?

What if this heroin dealer secretly knows she have a heroin addiction?

This is no brainer.

I think this woman would choose the heroin dealer straight away. The heroin dealer knows what she really wants and he provides it.

We usually think we know what people want. In fact, 90% of the time we are wrong. Even though we ask them what they want - they will never give you a straight answer.

What people want are usually 99.9% irrational - it doesn't really make sense. If you apply logic to it, nearly all the time it's not really what they want.

For example, if your friend bought a new flashy car and his reason for buying a car was because:

1. It feels really comfortable and you can go to work/home quicker.
2. It's tax deductible.
3. I got heaps of money and i need something to splash it on.

In fact, the real reason your friend wants to buy that car because:

1. Haha you fucker. Look what i got! Are you fucking impressed? Look how good i am you fucking loser!
2. I got a small fucking dick. I need something to compensate for it. I think this will impress my slutty next door neighbor. My cock is ready for you! Open your legs!
3. For years i think you think i was a loser - now look what i got!
4. Fuck you all! Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck you!

Alright. The real reason your girlfriend is dating you because:

1. I can impress my girlfriends, mum and dad that i'm dating this medical doctor who is really a fucking loser that i can't stand spending my rest of life - and just wants to fuck me but really is too chicken shit to say so. All well, i might as well enjoy the spotlight meanwhile i use him as much as i can until a better guy walks into my life.
2. He is so fucking good looking - too bad he has a brain the size of a peanut. Fuck it! I gonna use this guy to impress my friend and use him as my toy. That's it - he is going to be my bitch!
3. Oh my god! Im so fucking lonely, i can't get any real guy. I might as well stick to this fucking loser - better than being fucking a lonely old cow - and inevitably i know i'm going to be a lonely old cow anyway.
4. Fucking hell - this guy is loaded. He is my one way meal ticket out of this poor shithole!

"All Those Things That Seems To Oppose Your Goals Are Actually The Raw Materials for Achieving Them"

I just heard this saying.

"All those things that seems to oppose your goals are actually the raw material for achieving them."
I remember when i opened up my business years ago, i had a lot of trouble with the business. Even though it was making money, it didn't return as much money as i think it would. The problem was that I worked so hard yet there was little reward for my effort.

I thought they were not much money in the business. Eventually i worked for someone else (still am) and closed down the business. Having listen and heard about successful people, i now think i was wrong. If someone else is in the same business and making an extraordinary amount of money - then there was something wrong with the way i handle the business or didn't have the business fundamentals.

Simply put, I didn't have the right attitude. I see so many people that are in business that seems like there is not enough money in it, yet they become wildly successful in it. For example, one of my client who is a taxi-driver is a multi-millionaire.

Now i know what the problem i had before, i learn how to achieve my goals. The best way to learn is by your mistakes and by modeling someone much better than you.

What Would You Do If You Have Pancreatic Cancer And You Have 1% Chance of Living Within 5 Years?

I was listening to a Marketing expert today about achieving the best results in any field and getting what you want in life.

Almost everybody think this guy was a marketing genius because he was learning much faster than anyone else. But during this interview he said that he wasn't as smart as anyone else - he wasn't born a genius. He was like everybody else with an average IQ. Yet he was able to outperform everybody in his field.

How did he do it?

The answer seemed so obvious yet 95% of us missed it. He model what the very best people are doing and copied it. ie He found out why they were different from the other group, .....what makes them tick? ...what was there attitude like? ....what did they do they do differently compared to the other group?

So he gave this lecture to a group of students and asked them, "What would you do if you have pancreatic cancer where only 1% of people will survive after 5 years?".

Some of the student answered;

"I pray to God"
"I talk to the experts and find out as much as i can about the latest treatment"
"I enjoy my life to the fullest"
"read all the medical journals"

All of these questions were not wrong but they were not the best. None of the answers were not even close to what he was thinking. Every year he would ask this question and none of his student would answer correctly.

The answer to his question was this, "I would call up all the doctors that he knew about the cancer and asked them about what did that 1% that survived did." He would model the same thing what the 1% survivors did. For example, eating 10x a day, doing some sort of special exercise, asked them how they think/attitude, where did they live - did they live in the forest? He would get as much information as possible on the 1% survivors and copied their behavior.

If you want to be the best in any field, find someone that is the very best and model their behavior. It doesn't guarantee success, but the odds are in your favor.

If you want to be a successful tennis player, don't just ask your local tennis guy to teach you, learn from the very best - a tennis pro. If you want to learn Cantonese quickly, learn from someone who has learned it faster and fluently than anyone else - and copy their behavior.

It's all about your attitude to things. If you think you're too smart to do what this expert says - then i think you be losing a lot of wisdom. Learn from someone who is better than you. Let that fat big ego go.

End Rant.

The Things That Are True Are Not The Things That Thing That Most Of Us Want To Be True

I was talking to my friend today about female sexuality and the myths surrounds that.
He was talking about how most girls that you see (especially if they're innocent looking) are not as sexual compared to men. This is a huge misconception in my opinion. I think girls are just as sexual as guys but in a different way.

I'm not saying nearly all girls are wildly horny that wants to grab any cock they see.

I wish that was true though. It makes it easier on us guys. And some other girls likes eating carpet.

But anyway, my point was that my friend has misconception that most girls are not interested in sex at all. If you read any woman magazine such as Vogue or any other nonsense that girls read, you find that got a lot of articles/advice about sex. Just have a look and I guarantee that got more than 2 articles about sex.

I also bet you that these magazines have more articles about sex than men magazines such as FHM.

Then you read some of the other rubbish that they read such as Mills & Boon romance novels. You rather smash your head against the wall than read any of those. Basically these novels are female version of porn but with words only.

My point is that most of the things that are true are usually not the things most of us want us to be true because it collides or is against our existing belief system. We become so brainwash by TV, movies and friends that they are all sugar and sweet.

In fact, they are just as bad as guys. I had a client of mine who is a hairdresser, she was talking about how common women cheat on their husbands or lie about how much money they spend. It was totally unbelievable the stories that she told me.

If you're a female and think this is wrong, please post a comment and explain why it's not true.

End rant.

Why It's Important To Learn How An Asshole Feel

I was thinking the other day about one of my clients. A few weeks ago he wanted to see me to get his back fixed. He was in a little bit of pain and didn't bother checking out on the front desk and came bolting in my door.

"Hey mate, what's up? Are you free now?" He said without a care in the world.

Meanwhile, i was massaging somebody ass with her crack wide open (she was Muslim by the way, and anytime a man see her flesh, she has to pray to allah).

Anyhoo, I told him to get loss and go to the waiting room.

On the way out he boomed out "hey that women got a big fat ass hasn't she?"

Now I don't know how she reacted because her face was plastered down on the bed but i think i know how she feels. She probably was all red faced and probably prayed to god to put a Jihad on that guy.

Obviously, that guy was an inconsiderate asshole that shouldn't be allowed to live with any decent human beings.

But it got me thinking...

How the hell can he live with himself on this planet? But if you think simply, you get it.

This guy doesn't think he really is an asshole. He thinks he is a great and funny guy. He is misunderstood and if people think he did something wrong, then it's their fault. He made up a lot of things in his mind that can't be changed.

His mind is inflexible.

And the thing is.... everybody is somewhat rigid in their thinking. It is very easy to think we're always right and it's very hard for us to think we're wrong.

It's human nature.

People hate change. Actually they despise any changes - because we scared of it.

The only way to really persuade or change this thinking of this person is to at least 'walk in his shoes for a mile before judging him'. Once you know someone's thinking, you can rationanize his thoughts and explain it in his way.

If you read the book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People", this is what the book basically say to do.

So if you really want to influence people........ just walk in his shoes for a mile before judging him.

Ok, now think of someone that you know, someone he is too rigid or too stiff in their thinking and try to walk in their shoes. You be surprised how insightful you will be. You don't have to change your thinking or your beliefs.

Conversely, try to walk in someone else's shoe that is more successful than you. You might learn how far you limited your belief's or worldview are.

How To Be Cool

This is an awesome video on how to be cool. My losses have taught me that I must not begin to advance until I am sure I shall not have to retreat. But if I cannot advance I do not move at all. I do not mean by this that a man should not limit his losses when he is wrong. He should. But that should not breed indecision. All my life I have made mistakes, but in losing money I have gained experience and accumulated a lot of valuable don’ts. I have been flat broke several times, but my loss has never been a total loss. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be here now. I always knew I would have another chance and that I would not make the same mistake a second time. I believed in myself. A man must believe in himself and his judgment if he expects to make a living at this game.”

Awesome! I love his attitude. Never give up and don't hesitate!

“The game taught me the game. And it didn’t spare the rod while teaching.”

Haha!

"And right here let me say one thing: After spending many years in Wall Street and after making and losing millions of dollars I want to tell you this: It never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It always was my sitting. Got that? My sitting tight! It is no trick at all to be right on the market. You always find lots of early bulls in bull markets and early bears in bear markets. I've known many men who were right at exactly the right time, and began buying and selling stocks when prices were at the very level which should show the greatest profit. And their experience invariably matched mine - that is, they made no real money out of it. Men who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon. I found it one of the hardest things to learn. But it is only after a stock operator has firmly grasped this that he can make big money. It is literally true that millions come easier to a trader after he knows how to trade than hundreds did in the days of his ignorance."

Excellent!!!! If you really, really, really, want to know how to make big bucks - reread this 100 times. This applies to life as well. We see so many things on TV, newspaper about get rich quick schemes. I been in some of them and with other investments, such as property, if i just sit tight and wait, the big money comes when you're patient. A very simple concept but very, very hard to execute. You will find too many people who wants to get rich quick, while there are a few people that are patient and let the money comes to them.

Jesse Livermore Quotes

If you really want to learn about human psychological behavior. Study the stock market. A lot of people think that making money on the stock is all about market predictions and knowing the latest news.

If you currently/were investing in stocks, you found out that the most important factor of success is mainly your own self-control and your insight in market psychology.

I learned so much about myself when i was trading on the stock market years ago (and I haven't played it since then). I was reading several quotes by Jesse Livermore from a book that every investor should read, "Reminiscences Of A Stock Operator".

Here are a few golden quotes:

“If I hadn’t made money some of the time I might have acquired market wisdom quicker.”

This is so true. Important life lesson is learnt best when they cause pain or discomfort.

“There is nothing like losing all you have in the world for teaching you what not to do. And when you know what not to do in order not to lose money, you begin to learn what to do in order to win. Did you get that? You begin to learn!”

This is a very, very true. This applies to the stock market as well in anything in life. When you lose everything, it makes you smarter - you already know what to do to avoid being in the same situation.

“A stock operator has to fight a lot of expensive enemies within himself.”

Ouch. When I lose big, I lose self control - which means i going to gamble more- that means i going to throw away all my winning. Trying to fight your internal demons is damn hard.

“It takes a man a long time to learn all the lessons of all his mistakes. They say there are two sides to everything. But there is only one side to the stock market; and it is not the bull side or the bear side, but the right side. It took me longer to get that general principle fixed firmly in my mind than it did most of the more technical phases of the game of stock speculation.”

Wow! A great quote. With all these quotes, it can be applied in life as well.

How to Build Courage

A few days ago, one of my friends did one of the most uncomfortable thing he done in his life. I was proud of him. I'm not going to discuss it here to protect his privacy.

What he did was that he was planning to do that 'thing' within a month time. I was surprised that he did it a few days instead of a month or worse, never. If he acted later, he would had more sleepless nights, more worry and eventually his emotional state would negatively impact on other people as well.

He was courageous and just did it. When you become courageous, you automatically become confident.

You don't get courage from sitting on your ass all day, contemplating on how and why you should do it. He just did it. Full stop.

He picked the one thing that was the most uncomfortable and did that first. Not only did it kill off any procrastination, it built up his courage. Action cures fear. Even though it was painful for him to do it initially but it lifted up a huge weight off his shoulder.

So if you want to build up a courage, do the most uncomfortable thing first and don't hesitate - like the nike logo says - Just Do It.

The Secret of Selling

I was talking to one of my client a week ago. We were talking about life, her job and eventually she was talking about her son.

She told me that her son was a car salesman. She told me that he was so successful that the car manufacturer in Japan had his name stuck on their wall. He was selling on average, 39 cars a month. This is an average only, imagine how much he would sell on a good month and some salesman are lucky to sell 10 cars a month.

Immediately in my mind that I thought his son was a sort of mind reader or have some special mind powers that he could manipulate people. I was wrong. The secret that he had was not very obvious and counterintuitive.

The secret of his technique was that he is 100% honest with his customers. I was shocked. I thought you have to manipulate people in buying things they don't want.

If you are honest, you automatically create trust with that person. If you manipulate people, they will build mental barriers towards you. They can't trust anything what you say.

Building trust also means more word of mouth and more repeat business. Have you ever bought something from a person who promise your product to deliver certain results but didn't deliver? Would you go back to see that person again?

Conversely, if a salesperson sells you something and is honest and directly warns you that the product might break down and you might be disappointed with the product. Would you still go back to the same person?

Getting Experience Is Not Free

Lately, one of my friend was scammed through ebay. He loss a good sum of money. During the intial stage of the process, everything went pretty smoothly. He trusted this seller.

After he sent his money over via Western Union (never ever transfer money to strangers via Western Union - you can't get a refund back), everything went pear shape. The seller confirmed that he sent it and when my friend asked him for a tracking number he told my friend to wait for 10 mins while so he can contact his boss in africa to give him the details.

Well, 1 hour had passed and no tracking number. He then argued with my friend because he said that he didn't trust him. Finally, he said he going to send it by DHL but he has to pay extra shipping cost.

Seems like every time he talks to this guy, he tries to milk more money of my friend.

Now, my friend is really pissed off. He got the phone number of this guy and wants to hunt him down if his legit.

All he can really do is to wait to see if the package arrives or learn from his mistakes.

Just think of it as tuition fee for your experience. This is what Jesse Livermore, the greatest stock trader ever lived said,

"The loss of the money didn't bother me. Whenever I have lost money in the stock market I have always considered that I have learned something; that if I have lost money I have gained experience, so that the money really went for a tuition fee. A man has to have experience and he has to pay for it."

Burn Your English Grammar Books

Lately, I've been re-reading my old posts and posts from other blogs. What i notice so far is that the most interesting posts are usually posts that have shitty grammar and spelling mistakes but are written from their heart. It doesn't matter what it say but how they say it.

The good posts i noticed were usually emotionally driven. They had something they want to talk about. I don't want to read a blog about the anatomy of a brain - it would be too boring, too rigid, it would feel like a boring sermon at church.

Instead, I want to read a post about why a crazy surgeon chopped a man head off just so he could look at his brain and then make a soup out of his brain afterwards. MMMMM.....Yummy!!

Anyway, who reads academic texts books in their spare time? Do you read a text book when you take a dump?

...maybe some nerds do, but most people don't. In fact, i bet you one dollar that most people will read one of those trashy tabloid magazines or if you're really horny, look at pornos.

Be honest. I know some of you do. I know some of you have weird fetishes by the way.

Anyway, that's all i want to say now.

P.S I don't read pornos in the toilet - just to let you know.

Two Reasons Why You're Not Successful

Im been thinking very seriously why a lot of smart people are not successful. I watch a DVD program called, 'Get Altitude', it said the reason people are prevented from success are due to:

1. Emotional Estimation

People are horrible in predicting how the future will make us feel. For example, if we do something we think its going to make us feel good or if you do something else, its going to make you feel bad. Or if you feel good about something, then you think its going to be good. (its probably usually wrong - see my below post about uncomfortable decisions for further explanation)

2. Seeing and Seeking Only Validation

I was thinking about this seriously, when i was playing poker, i was seeing the things where i made the right decisions but i didn't really see where i was wrong. I keep thinking i was the best but i was probably was making an amateur mistake. I had a big ego.

To solve this he said you require:

Data driven decisions - When was the last time you track your results? With playing poker - i never ever track my resullts i.e win/loss rate, amount usually bet etc. Your mind can't argue with numbers. Numbers dont have an opinion, they can't tell you personally how good you are.

Test, Model, Project - Do a test, build a little model with the results, and then project.
