San Antonio Spurs forward Richard Jefferson has given ex-fiancee Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols a six-figure settlement to help her move on after his last minute wedding cancellation, the New York Post reports.

Jefferson ended his five-year relationship with Nichols shortly after a tense Fourth of July weekend by sending her an e-mail reportedly about two hours before the wedding.

Jefferson said he chose to break up with her via e-mail because "sometimes you might write an e-mail to get your thoughts down right."

On Wednesday the Post reported that the cancellation was not in time to prevent guests from showing up, and Jefferson gave friends his American Express card to use for an evening of entertainment.

Nas insists he doesn't have as much money as Kelis has claimed.

The rapper is furious with his estranged wife - who is pregnant with the couple's first child - after she filed expenses records with a Los Angeles court to get support from Nas and alleged his last record deal was worth $11 million.

So he has now filed papers of his own, in which he claims: "I did not receive even half that amount."

He added the fee was closer to $4 million and his earnings are dwindling all the time.

On average, Nas claims he is making $147,165 a month, but $70,000 of that is used to pay monthly bills, including $10,000 for clothing and hair maintenance.

Kelis - whose son is due on July 21 - had asked her estranged husband for $20,000 towards the cost of "purchasing strollers, cribs and other baby supplies" for their two homes.

She is also seeking additional funds to pay for a baby nurse, nanny and other staff.

However, Nas - who wants to be "fully involved" in the upbringing of their child - thinks $5,000-a-month for a newborn baby is adequate and has already agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling and $1,598 for two cribs.

Michael Jackson's sister, LaToya Jackson, told a London newspaper she suspects her brother was "murdered" in a conspiracy by "a shadowy entourage."

Jackson cited no evidence of a murder conspiracy, Graham said, but she did tell the paper the family has seen results from the private autopsy it ordered. She would not reveal the findings, Graham said.

"I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start," the paper quoted LaToya Jackson as saying. "Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people."

Graham said LaToya Jackson's choice of words "stopped me dead in my tracks."

"I asked her, 'Are you sure the word "murder" is what you want to use,' " Graham said. Jackson told her she chose that word purposely.

"He was surrounded by a bad circle," Graham said Jackson told her. "Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren't always on his side."

Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder are among the celebrities who will participate in the memorial service for singer Michael Jackson on Tuesday at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, the Jackson family announced on Monday.

Other participants include Motown record label founder Berry Gordy, Magic Johnson, Brooke Shields, Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie, Usher, Martin Luther King III, and Shaheen Jafargholi, a young finalist from “Britain’s Got Talent.” No information was released about the participants’ specific roles in the event, and the announcement said no further information would be forthcoming.

The first official and best sounding tribute to Michael Jackson is West Coast rapper The Game. On the track is The Game, PDiddy, Chris Brown and Boyz II Men. Check it out! CNN: You may be the first well-known artist to have a Michael Jackson tribute out there.

The Game: I didn't want to wake up the next morning and have somebody spread a tribute all over the Internet, and I wasn't a part of it. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.

CNN: Did you already have the beats pre-recorded?

The Game: No. The first thing I did was call DJ Khalil ... and I told him, "Yo, I need you in the studio, and by the time I get there, I need a Michael Jackson tribute song made [the music bed]. I need violinists, I need pianists, I need everyone in there for a production."

And then I started reaching out to Diddy. He's on a set 18 hours a day, but he said he'd get it done some way, somehow. Talked to Chris Brown. He and [his manager] Tina Davis said they were on their way to the studio -- so they told me after I do my part, to bring it over and Chris will do the hook. Before I took the beat over to Chris, Boyz II Men walked into the studio randomly -- so they took it to their studio next door, laid down all the background vocals.

Then I took it to Mario [Winans], then I took it to Diddy. In the meantime, me and my boy Taydoe -- we running around to the hospital, to the Jacksons' house, to the star on Hollywood, getting all this [secondary] footage [for the video]. Crazy.

CNN: This was the day he died, on Thursday?

The Game: It was just the day. By Friday, everything was done -- video, everything. We did it in 15 hours.

CNN: You made the music video for $500.

The Game: All in tapes, $500 went to tapes, HD high-definition tapes.

CNN: At the end of the video, you reveal a new tattoo.

The Game: Yeah, I'll show you. I thought if I was going to get a Michael Jackson tattoo, I would get a more menacing one. (The tattoo shows the "King of Pop" with a bandanna over the lower half of his face.)

CNN: Had you ever met Michael?

The Game: I never met him in person, but he tried to mediate a truce between myself and Curtis Jackson [aka 50 Cent], and I wasn't having it at that time.

CNN: How did that happen? Did somebody call you and say, "Please hold the line for Michael Jackson?"

The Game: At first my managers called me and they said, "Mike -- Michael Jackson -- is going to want to talk to you in an hour. Exactly an hour." So I waited an hour, and I'm like chewing on my fingers in the hotel room ... and the phone rings and a guy comes on and he's got an English accent. He's like (affects an English accent), "Hello Game, I have Michael Jackson on hold for you." It was just cool.

So Michael comes on, and ... he was like, "Yo, it's Mike, and I'm a big fan of your music," and starts going into my songs, "Hate it or Love It" and "How We Do." And he's like, "I'm a big fan of 50's -- every time I get in the car, I tell my driver to play 'In Da Club.' Would you guys be willing to make a truce, and then put it on my album?"

Gov. Sarah Palin announced Friday that she will step down as Alaska's chief executive by the end of the month. She will not seek election to a second gubernatorial term in 2010.
Per sources, Palin's return to her home state has been a rocky one. Beyond a flood of ethics complaints — most of which have been dismissed — the governor was forced to backtrack on her decision to reject federal stimulus funds, her pick for attorney general was rejected by an increasingly hostile legislature, and her personal life has continued to grab headlines.
