After longer absence, I'm finally back. Welcome to this week's feast.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you look forward to your birthday?
To be honest, I don't know. I think I give it a 7. If my birthday wouldn't be that close to christmas (23rd of december) I wouldn't have to be that much busy and could concentrate on preparing my birthday. But normally it means a lot stress.... (I wish back to the time mommy did everything... *wink*)

13 Reasons why I didn't blog for so long...

I didn't find the time
For some reason, my older layout couldn't be opened with IE, so I needed to change my layout, but couldn't get me to it.
I had a kind of "blogging-blockade"
I needed a "creative break".
I had to find a place for my internship starting in october (I got one *yeah*)
I had to re-arrange some things in family life.
I was ill for about one week.
After that Chris and I were on holiday at the north-sea for one week.
The week after we had another week off and did things that brought us a lot fun, e.g. visit amusement parks.
Back at college after holidays we had a lot to do and a lot to learn.
I re-arranged our living-room a bit.
I did a lot handcrafting.
I just was tooooooo tired to switch on the computer....

I know this wasn't much interesting, but it was fine to bring me back blogging. I hope you liked it anyway. Please leave a comment, you can use my new "Click Comment" if you don't like to write anything...

So I decided to show you one of my favourite photos showing me at the age of three. It was taken by my daddy during our summer holidays at the north-sea a on a beautiful Island named Norderney where my granny lived. I still have that hat. Some things you take with you your whole life just to remember how wonderful your childhood was...

I haven't been posting for a while. Well, there where some who missed me and let me know they care about me (Thank you so much Coco and Simone - you are really friends to me).
I haven't posted coz I was - well I don't really know. I think the best word to describe is "unbalanced". For no reason.
It's just that I'm exhausted.
I knew that a vocational retraining won't be easy to do. But I didn't expect that. Our college is crap. They don't choose their lecturers very well. Sometimes you really sit there in class and really wonder what that guy is talking about. At the moment we have accounting-lesson. And that damn lecturer only has two -TWO- exercises for each topic! Unbelievable isn't it? He doesn't really bother if everyone (and we're only 8 students at class) got it. He just goes on. We're all quite unhappy. It's not only in this lesson. It's nearly in every lesson. And that's quite frustrating. Especially if we have a lesson that I already know - like ECDL (EuropeanComputerDrivingLicense). In that lesson I sat there 8 hours a day doing nothing...

I got unbalanced again. My depression just came back.
I don't really know why.
Actually everything else is going fine. Mr.C and I are happy together. My financial problems are going to be solved. And allthough retraining is hard I get very good grades.

It's all about my mental situation. And for that I want to be balanced again, I decided to go back to my doc and talk to her bout that. So since today I'm back on medication. On "Citalopram" to be exact.
So we'll see if that helps. Keep your fingers crossed.

Welcome back at "Sonny's Pink Diner" for this week's feast.
For that it's Good Friday today and in Germany we traditionally have fish and no meat, today's menue is fish-fingers with chips, sushi with salad or just baked potatoes with sour cream. As dessert you can have some Iced Easter Biscuits or Honey and Strawberry Chocolate Pots.

Appetizer
When you travel, which mode of transportation do you prefer?
It depends on where we're going. If we're just going to our holiday house at the northsea, we take the car. But if we're going on a "big" holiday we go by plane. But to be honest, we haven't been on a big holiday for ages. It's not that we didn't want to, it's just that we don't have the money... (hey, anybody help me feed our piggy-bank?*wink*)

Have you ever met a blogging friend in person?
No, I haven't. But I don't mind. There can be deep friendship without meeting each other...

Salad
When was the last time you were really, really tired?
I don't know when I was really, really tired the last time, but I've been tired during the last weeks. I couldn't bring myself to anything.Might be spring fever.

If you could have dinner with any one fictional character from a book or movie, who would it be?
I'd like to spend some time with all the guys of "A knights tale". I love medieval festivals.

It's just that I'm very tired at the moment and can't really bring myself to do anything. I'm just worn out. It might be spring fever, I don't know.

When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullabyland?
I listen to audio-plays for children. My favourite one is TKKG. TKKG stands for Tim, Karl, Kloeschen and Gaby. They are four young teenagers who solve mysterious incidents happening in their town. Or The Three Investigators by Alfred Hitchcock.

Main Course
What is something about which you've always wondered but have not yet found a good answer?
What was first? Egg or hen? ;-)

Dessert
What is your favorite pasta dish?
Mr.C's pasta bolognese is hard to beat. If so, then only by

Penne cabonara (à la Jamie Oliver):

Pure three egg yolk with 250 ml Cream. Spice with Salt and Pepper (and what ever you like)
Fry bacon bits till they're crispy.
Choose your favourite pasta and boil until ready.
Put all together in a big bowl (Pasta, bacon and egg-cream-mixture) rasp a little parmesan (or your favourite cheese) on it and mix it all up side down and down side up ;-)

The hot pasta thickens the egg-cream-mixture. Serve it while hot and enjoy!!! YUMMY!!!

Welcome to this week's Photo Hunt.
Today's theme is "Architecture". Again I had to have a deeeep look into my Photo-Archive (coz I didn't want to post pictures that were'nt taken by myself - like some I found on the web). So today I show you a collage of some pictures Mr.C and I took on our trip to Blackpool (UK) in Summer 2004. We loved all these different kinds of architectures. Really impressive was Blackpool Tower. If you ever get the chance, you should go there. Wonderful.(Click on the picture to enlarge)

Okay, I know I'm quite late for the party. But hey! I was busy ;)
So let's see this one as a kind of "final party".

Please sit down, take a drink. What you want? Diet-Icetea, Diet-Coke, Water, Alcohol free Fruit cocktail or the classic one: Beer?
I hope I prepared enough Potatoes with cream dip! Eat yourself full! And if you don't like warm meal try my low fat potatoe-crisps.

And for them who liked the food, here are the recipes:

Potatoes with self-made cream:
20 tablespoons 0,1% fat yoghurt, herbs (whatever you like), mineral water. Mix and enjoy! YUMMY!!
Low fat Potatoe-crisps:
Cut Potatoes into very very thin slices. Put them on a baking tray, flavour with your favourite spices and sprinkle all with a little extra virgin olive oil. Bake them until crispy.
