Well I have spent the last week learning WordPress and like on a golf course, some of my shots have landed in the sand traps. I actually went out and bought a book and found it to be very useful. I see that people keep linking to this blog and I would like to thank you for this.

I want to wish all of you a safe and blessed Thanksgiving. Each day I feel blessed and I am thankful for my wonderful family and dear friends.

I am thankful for my wife. She is a strong independent woman who I unconditionally love. I want to thank Right Hand Man for his friendship and for sticking by me. You are a true friend and I'm blessed to have you as part of my life.

In Defense of Gun Ownership Rights

Bill Whittle makes a compelling argument in defense of gun ownership rights in part 5 of his Firewall series. Personally I never really understood why some people believe the 2nd amendment is about hunting. Think about whenever some liberal or progressive group attempts to create laws that restrict or limit gun ownership they always use the sales pitch that hunting will not be impacted. I always reply to that argument by saying the 2nd amendment is not about hunting.
