CNY Day 3 (Wed, 25.1.2012)

All planned to wake up at 4am and leave home by 6am.... I was scared i couldnt wake up so i stayed awake...

In the end, i was the only one ready at 6am... Everyone else woke up about 8am... and i had to stay awake till 10am cuz i didnt want to go back to sleep, trying to wake up in deep sleep sucks.

Then off we went to JB! less jam compared to the journey to Taiping..
I was in SUCH DEEP SLEEP that i couldnt even get up at rest stops...
Just lie in the car, almost as good as dead... and drooling.... a lot... eww....
I could recall a couple of time sucking my saliva while i was asleep, i could feel it dropping.

Then at JB, lou sang and home-cooked food by my grandma! Her cooking is just too delicious!

In JB, we have a tradition before collecting our ang pows... There is always a condition set by the "distributers".
Usually, we have to come up with new year greetings in Chinese... I have been studying those for years... Its all in my MIND!
Every year, it becomes even more challenging... All the uncle and aunts want MORE!!

So now, we gotta come up with at least 5 new year greetings... and cannot repeat the same stuffs as our cousins.. So the last person pretty much have nothing to say, and start coming up with nonsense...
My uncle event changed the terms for us to wish it in Bahasa Melayu... =.=
its harder than i thought... now that i've thrown whatever ive learnt back in highschool....

Couzie brought us to Aeon Tebrau for a movie.

Wasn't our 1st choice but its the only show that suits our timing with enough seats.

Met my couzie's friends and we played along.

Well, im not a good drinker, but definitely had fun.

Time to go home, cuz big bro got appointment with his friends.
Stopped by at Batu Pahat to visit my aunt.

CNY 2012 @ Taiping

It was HELL of a jam. According to dad, the worst so far. People are stopping at the side to take a pee at the greens.. Nonetheless, emergency lanes were fully occupied.

We started journey at 3pm and watched the sun sets, yet we couldnt reach our destination yet.
It was already 9-10pm. Just imagine how much my ass has been resting at the same position...

Stopped at Kampar for dinner.

On Chinese New Year Eve, reunion dinner. We had it pretty early... Bout 6pm, so the skies still all bright.

CNY Day 2 is time to go back to Klang and prepare for JB.
We stopped by at the ever-so-beautiful lake gardens for some shots.
There were more visitors than usual days as we see it.
Many so-called-photographers with huge gears were there for shoots too.
Even saw a couple of wedding shoots going on there.

Daddy's Birthday

20th of January was my dad's birthday. The "journey" i had to go through to get back to celebrate with my family was indeed a challenging one..
J pick sent me to the KTM station... Jam... It was friday, and since CNY holiday is ON, i also packed my stuffs and head home in Klang.
The ROAD = JAM LIKE SHITZ...
I guess everyone was "balik-ing kampung" already, and it was only 4pm!
Reached the KTM station, the waiting begins...

My bro had been waiting for me since 3.50pm. Then i got there about 4.15.
At first, the number of awaiting passengers were tolerable... until they delayed 2 trains...
KTM woi... delay 1 train already need to wait for another half an hour.
Me and my bro waited for another 1.5 hours more or less, and the number of passengers at the side lines became more and more packed.

When the train arrives, habis la... everyone CHIONG AH!!!!

The coaches were DAMN PACKED in a way that I really felt like sardin in a can.
We managed to squeeze into the 1st coach, i think many couldnt board the train either. Even the ladies coach looked to suffocating. Anyone walking in or leaving the coach was really a "fight for freedom".
Everyone pushing around, with "excuse me excuse me excuse me", trying hard to slit through every space available.

I even saw a lady capturing photos and calling someone stupid on the train, then uploading it to Facebook.

Hmm. Reached home like 3 hours later cuz on the way home from the Klang station was also jammed.
After makan, celebrate!

Ive been a fan of Kagrra for soooooo long.
Love their music, their influences, and their VK style.
Their songs always have a lil twist of traditional touch cuz they usually insert "koto" which is a Japanese traditional instrument.

I also love their outfit, as in this one.

So traditional yet so modern.
So i wish one day i can have the chance to impersonate, not exactly, but roughly the type of "feel".

Seems kinda cool. I just have to put on make up and do some cool hairstyle then it would be just fine.
My problem lies a lil on the makeup. Need to do something more goth. Still thinking how to do it with the minimal makeup "materials" i have.

I learned it from XiaXue's blog. Hohoho. She is my idol!

Well, photoshop is so awesome that once i look back to my original photo, i feel damn ugly...

But since its MINE, ill just have to live with it until one day if i happen to have LOTS OF LOTS OF MONEY, i might consider plastic surgery. XP

Haikara Style Cafe

Last year, Nicole took Freya and me to this authentic Japanese cafe in Subang Jaya.

My first time here, and i already have pretty good 1st impression.

This place is owned by a Japanese couple from Nagoya. Event the waiters and waitresses wears lower apron, just like how they do it in Japan. So Cool! Oh ya, looking cute is another plus point (i meant the waiters).

The environment is sooo... Calm... Peacefull... Just like how a cafe should be. Filled with soothing jazz music, the place is soooo cozy!

Talking about food, simply heaven.

Jasmin Tea - Rm9.90 (free refills)

Chicken Katsu Sandwich - RM13.90

Cheese Omelette RM5.90

THIS IS YUMMY SHITZ! Imagine you can feel the cheese melting in your mouth with the fragrance of the perfectly cooked eggs with bbq sauce at the side. Damn good.

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice - RM19.90

This was the highlight of the day. You can basically choose the curry spicy level from none to 5 at maximum.
Since Freya and me were sharing this, we decided to hit point 5.
Turns out, it wasnt THAT spicy but just nice. The consistency is so thick the the flavours are literally bursting in my mouth. I can stop with the crispy chicken and the yummy gravy. Even the RICE tasted so delicious!
Frankly, im not a "rice person" but THIS RICE, i can ask for more!

Still Japanese Rice for the win!

I definitely gotta visit the place again for more ORIGINAL Japanese food goodness.

Located right beside the main northsouth highway at Kulaijaya.
Its HUGE! A definite heaven for shopaholics.

I went with my family. My brother and my dad kept searching for couch when me and my mom flaunted our walking stamina.

And all the couches in every store, you will notice that 99% of those "resting" there are men.

There are regular brands like Nike, Adidas, Elle, that you can just walk in to the shop and squeeze with the crowd.

Other premium brands like Burberry and Coach will need you to queue before entering as they will only allow certain number of people to enter.

Cmon... Malaysia is NOT overseas! We have Scorching Summer or Trolling Rain all year and the possibility of having "NICE WEATHER" is like 1/99 chances!
Its FRIGGIN HOT outside (unless you stay in one outlet for a longer period) and my foundation was melting all over.

Other than that, its fine. You might wanna apply sunblock lotion before heading there.

Then off to lunch. Finally.

Unfortunately some brainless guy and his wife who both had no idea how they passed their driving licence hit our car and scratched the side of my dads car.
They try to "cut" in our line while waiting for the traffic light.

FOOL! WE HAD BEEN WAITING IN LINE FOR THE LIGHT WHY CANT YOU? WAIT TILL YOUR TURN DUDE!

Not only did they not apologize, he even wanted my dad to pay for his car's pety damage.

So off to Balai Polis. Spent there for 2 hours... And i took photos of a dragonfly who happens to be "detained" in the police station... *lifeless*

i was SO CLOSE!

Then... it was lunch back in Skudai.

Had a gig there, which turned out rather disappointing because they had to change venue at the last minute, resulting in the ever-so-few audiences to appear. Those in the hall was literally from 'our-own-clan'.
Still, last gig of the year. Just beat it!

My Christmas 2011

On the eve, Selina, Freya and me represented Flying Pan to pull off a 3 piece acoustics in Tenshi no Cafe.

Well erm, since we just practiced roughly 12 hourse before show, it was... erm... like that lor... haha!

And instead of going heavy makeup, i decided to lighten up (since its Christmas). I omitted eyeliner and just applied mascara, light eye shadow and stick half of the upper lash for a change.
Usually the most fundamental makeup is my dearest eyeliner, cuz i like the "ganas" look.

Apparently i look a lil different than usual... More... innocent? *pfft*

The bright side of the performance is that i get to eat Tenshi's food for the 1st time!

ONIGIRI @ Comic Fiesta 2011

I only went on the 1st Day, 17th December 2011.
Rushed there right after my French paper (which i think i did pretty bad... aah... hopefully i pass)
It seems that there had been some problems before i got there.
Many couldnt enter the hall, and one of the band performances even got cancelled because the crown was overwhelming.

KLCC forced the committee to pause all activities or they threaten to shut down the event.
So i feel sorry for AniOn project. If its my band, i would be very devastated too, considering all the effort and practice that is put in for the performance.

Lucky for us, things went out well for us.

Due to my lateness, i missed the session with Shimokawa Mikuni and Ceui.
But all the important moments are up on youtube. Just type in to search.
I reached bout 5pm and the queue was still so long. I had to go through the back door. If i were to lineup, i will be late for my check in for the performance.

Back to my band performance, ONIGIRI.
We performed 4 songs.

Started off with the most common song. I think this song is played by almost every ACG band before.

I cant let go of the fact that i screamed too much during Zeolite Band's performance that i lost my pitching...
Did SUPER HORRIBLE for the harmony in here...
I am sooooo sorry.

The next song is DAME!, a classic OST from the anime Rurouni Kenshin.
I was really surprised by what our vocalist decided to pull off on stage while waiting for the rest to tune their guitars.
HEADBANG MANIA.

Had a really good time on stage.

Our supposedly last song is a cover harder than what we have played before.
Its Symphonic Dream from Nurarihyon no Mago.
I suggested this song at first because it is very unique with its irregular timing and tricky beats, definitely a challenge to our band.
I think that we pulled off pretty okay, just a lil error on some parts. Will do better next time!

And last song, encore, was Shunkan Sentimental by Scandal.
It seems to be a crowd favourite because many were singing along with the song.
Even Batman and Luffy went on stage to join us! haha!

I definitely enjoyed my time, despite all the mistakes and off pitching i have done.

Well the bears are customized designed by participants ALL OVER THE WORLD. Every bear has its own unique touch that describes the country and its people

Its a Christmas Special display that really is, about the people, and how we respect everyone in life.

Very meaningful... And the every single bear looks so special!

I even tried to play "guess which country" but i failed because there are soooo many countries that I do not know the name.

So many things happened recently. As i am one of my busiest period, problems kept arising from here and there.
Didn't want to post some emo post on facebook cuz nobody wants to know anyway. Only people who are concerned about my life would drop by here to have a little update...

Band, assignments, and everything really lumped up the heat in my eyes... Literally.
As i type this, i am having a severe headache of all the things i have to juggle.

The most hurtful thing is that i had another argument with the person I regard as my "dad" from my "2nd family". Not the 1st time.
Every time there is a conflict in that "family", its always the 2 of us.
In fact, I'm tired of apologizing because it will still happen again and again, as much as i don't want it to.
Besides background, we have total different mindset... This I agree...

I have a total different personality with you. I had a different life compared to you.

I jump high and act crazy when im in a good mood. Oh well, my mood portrays as "attention seeker" to you.

I have my ways of doing and seeing things altogether. You will just see me as another naive kid.

But the fact that you claimed that I do not use my brain when I talk, really upsets me.

Since the last time i messed things up, I began to be aware of what to say.
I'm just speaking out my thoughts and you do not have to agree to me and you accuse me for killing the freedom of speech.

I think i did pretty bad. wahaha... But what is done is done.

At least i know how it feels to be lame and not getting any response from the crowd.

I basically gotta be super thick skin to be an MC.

Furthermore, if you are doing partnership, make sure you rehearse because chemistry is vital.

These few weeks are really suicidal. Too much work and stuffs to do. Even lost appetite due to the hectic schedule. *bright side is can diet!*

As tired as i can be, i realized that my eyes were super heavy. Which actually contributes to make my "double eyelid" more "poppy", which i like.
So i decided to take a few more photos. Aah.... cam-whoring... I haven't been practicing that for more than half a year.

My mom cut this new hairstyle for me and i absolutely love it!

She can make money out of hair styling.

All along since primary school, till high school, till now, my mom cuts my hair 95% of my lifetime.

Yep, im the practice subject. Honestly, i used to hate my hair when she don't cut it the way i want it, but now? Fuh, no complains whatsoever. In fact, it turned out better than what I wanted.

The most surprising moment is when Farouq (Strawhats Crew's Lead Guitarist) asked everyone to sign on his guitar. It was really a good way to keep the moment memorable.

Well, that night wasn't just pack with awesome performances, Flying Pan launched the 1st CD!

It has 2 tracks. Hypocrisy, and the Last Chapter.
Best of all, we did this out of demand and requests, plus, our band leader left for Australia. So, we put in a lot of effort in it. We might not be pros, but at least our sincerity shows.

It only costs RM8 with sums up to pretty much the production cost because we do not intend to make profit out of this.
Therefore, your support will really mean something to us.
