Been taking care my million flowers for almost a year, and just now it is blooming so beautifully. I purchased the flower back when I went with my friends for vacation. We went to a resort with a complete amenity they offer.

This is the 7th falls of a resort where we spend a few hours of swimming and massage. The water is so cold. This is fun and awesome.

Summer is here! I can feel it. Department of Health warns public for 6 diseases and health hazard during this summer vacation.

These diseases are flu, sore eyes, sunburn, dog bites, stomach ailments and skin diseases. Avoid the sun from 10am to 2pm. Be sure to be cautious about it. Wear sunglasses and apply sunscreen to your skin one hour is better before going out. To all elderly who have hypertension, take your maintenance daily. Prevent from heat stroke by drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day. And don't stay outdoor. Take a bath daily,

Foods are easily contaminated when it is exposed and it's spoiled faster because of the warm temperature. So finish it or keep refrigerated. Avoid street foods. And to those who love to have picnics, be alarmed!

You can have skin problem when the pool is not maintained. Just be reminded to take a bath after swimming.

Rabies is a fatal disease, be sure your dogs have the vaccine.

Be alarmed by what happenings in our surroundings.. Health is wealth. Better stay at home :)

After a long hiatus, I am back to blogging again. Everything is fine now. Summer is back again, but the weather is not good enough. We had typhoon two days ago, in some region, there are floods and even a landslide. I am still thankful because my place is fine. We have tragic typhoon Yolanda, that causes hundred of deaths. I hope this will not happened again.. Every news about the typhoon, everybody is scared. Even small children have this trauma. I know this is not the end. Life must go on.

I am so envious with their gorgeous outlook though they are already in their 50s. How they have this amazing body? I know holywood stars and celebrity have secrets :) I know I would not be as sexy and beautiful like them, but I am willing to maintain my physical looks and sex appeal :)

The athlete and those who are very active in sports have a firm and lean muscle. No fats at all. They have the same body as they get older. They can even do the task when they still young. They can control their diet and does a daily routine of exercises. They are healthy!

After lunch at Manggahan festival we decided to go the beach, its 25 minutes (riding on the public transportation), there is no taxi. We pay $0.59 each for our fare. We did not bring swim suit, because we don’t really have planned to swim. Since we are there already we take the opportunity to go the beach. In last hour we decided to go Island hopping... so here it is:

Summer again...

Summer again. Everyone is busy where to go for their vacation. The most usual place to hang out is the beach. It’s a time for relaxation and to be with the family and friends. When you are in the beach, try to leave that stressful world and enjoy your day off. Even in just a short period of time.

Last April 14, we went to Guimaras for a Manggahan Festival to witness some activities. I left the house at eight in the morning, and waited my friends on the boat. I don’t expect that there are already who fall in line to get the ticket to ride on the boat going to Manggahan.

I will post next time my trip to one of the beach at guimaras island.

My family is in very much involved in the medical profession. My husband's family has doctors and nurses, while my own family has a doctor, nurses and some involved in other areas of the medical field too. Soon I will have another medical family member too. My second daughter will graduate in May with a diploma for medical technology. With these qualifications in my family, I dream of having a hospital someday. But running a hospital is no joke! You will experience many headaches when you plan to set up this business endeavour. I’m thinking realistically of a smaller type of business that it is still related to the medical field.

My sister proposed the idea of selling medical instrumentation to all the hospitals here. Others suggested a pharmacy with hospital supplies. Financially I can’t make it happen on my own, but with the help of the family, hopefully this will be implemented. My sister has already researched some surgical instruments online. She will visit the company which manufactured the different surgical instruments. Low Back Pain

During cold weather, my mom always complained of back pain, not so much with her knees and her elbow. She did not take the prescribed medication given by her doctor, because she doesn’t want to be dependent on drugs. This is what she believes could happen. She tried all herbal lotions to try and ease the pain. Still it hurts.
I’m afraid of developing this illness, and I don’t want to get it. My mom got this, when she was 40 years old. I know it is hereditary, that’s why before it’s too late I will be careful with my food intake and daily exercises. I am trying to take all preventative measures.

Saturday and Sunday is a family day for me. Stay at home and cook for the family. I love to cook and bake for my family. Since today is Sunday, everybody is at home. I decided to prepare macaroons for the family. It is soft and chewy inside and crispy outside. This cookie has a shredded coconut that makes more delicious.

Ingredients:

1 can condensed milk

4 eggs

1 pack desiccated coconut

1/2 cup of butter or more as needed

3/4 cup of sugar

Macaroons paper cups

Molder

Melt the butter first and add the whole eggs (beaten)

Combined all dry ingredient

Mix all

Scoop and put it on the molder with paper cups.

You can bake on the oven or in the toaster.

Pre heat oven to 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes

Bake the coconut macaroon for 20 minutes or until color turn to golden brown

Serve share and enjoy!!!

Hello guys :) It's nice to be back here. I have been away for a long time. Pardon, for I am so very busy, that sometimes I could not login. Today we are celebrating the Dinagyang Festival in honor to our patron saint of iloilo city ( Sto. Nino) Everybody are in the street to see the contest of different tribes from different town. All contest are doing their best to get the grand winner with many prizes at stake. Here are the different tribes and scenery during the festival.

Merry Christmas to all! I dunno how long I haven't updated this blog. There are many reasons behind. I miss blogging and hopping. I miss friends and readings their blogs. I am trying to get online. I am busy with my full time business. I even forget my online works :(

I have already a registered med tech daughter. Hopefully she will pass her NMAT exams so she can proceed to medicine.. I wish next year will be fruitful year to me and my family.

I undergo Dilatation and Curettage

I have been in hospital for four days. I really hate to be in hospital. Even though I’m there my mind is with my children, I know that my mother is with them but still I am worried.

My last menstrual period was last June 27, 2012. I decided to see my ob gyne. She advised me for an ultra sound. And the result needs to be curettage. I was scheduled to have a Dilatation and curettage on Tuesday morning first case, so I admitted Monday. On my schedule my pulse rate goes down L so I was given some meds prior my procedure, until my internal medicine deferred my procedure. She reschedules it on Wednesday morning. Here comes the moment, all my vital signs are stable. During the D&C my pulse rate goes down again, ECG machine attach on me during the procedure. I stayed in OB or and Recovery for five hours.hayz!!! My family already worried. I know God is with me. When I woke up in recovery room my anaesthesia still there, I was vomiting and I feel dizzy. Until I was back on my room, still I feel nauseated, maybe because I was fasting for how many hours and I feel hungry.

What is Dilatation and Curettage?

According to Wikipedia (Dilation and Curettage) refers to the dilation (widening/opening) of the cervix and surgical removal of part of the lining of the uterus and/or contents of the uterus by scraping and scooping (curettage). It is a therapeutic gynaecological procedure as well as a rarely used method of first trimester abortion.

D&C normally refers to a procedure involving a curette, also called sharp curettage.[1] However, some sources use the term D&C to refer more generally to any procedure that involves the processes of dilation and removal of uterine contents, which includes the more common suction curettage procedures of manual and electric vacuum aspiration.

I feel better now.. Thanks God. Next week I will get my biopsy result. Hopefully, the result will be negative.

Been awhile.....

Been awhile I was away from blogosphere. There are many reasons to enumerate. My eldest daughter is away from home. She has a board review, exams will be on September. Hoping she will pass with flying colors. Second daughter is in 4^th year college. My youngest is in first year taking Tourism. And, I’m in stress with my offline work. My mother is with me, she is 72 years old, and she is suffering from arthritis. Having this illness is hell. She is in pain always, when it is very cold she can’t walk really because her joint is killing her. I don’t give her a medication for her arthritis always since it’s not good for her kidney and heart. If she can’t tolerate anymore the pain, then it’s the time she will take her medication. For her exercise, she does walking around our village. She maintains her diet of, no salt, no meat, no dairy products. Are you suffering with this illness too? What tips and advices can you give me? Taking this member of the family is very tiring. But, as long as I am healthy I will never tired of taking care of them, because they are all my precious jewels.

Conquering your fear

If nothing scares you, success is easy. You never feel hesitant, shy or nervous. So the tendency is to take actions. When you do not act, it is probably because of fear.

Fear is the inability to face someone or something. You’re afraid to encounter it, so you prefer to avoid. That’s the time you worried much and develop stress.

Just approach the problem with radiant steps. You cut the problem into smaller pieces. You successfully deal with small parts and thus reach a full resolution.

Talking about your fear to your friend can reduce the effects of fears. Talk it openly and discuss it. Your fear may often feel less difficult.

In some cases, the best approach to deal with your fear is to close your eyes and jump in. You face the fear without any regard for your feelings and emotions. You might get nervous or even terrified, but once you take the leap, you will discover the big monster are merely shadows.

There are some method to conquer fears that you will get a positive result, as long as you cooperate and ready to face the circumstances. I know controlling fears can be tough, but the reward is enormous. You will be happy!!

My Wishlist

My wish list for this year is to have a work desk. A workplace that is very comfy to work with, that you are inspired to finish your entire task for the day. My computer desk is already damaged; its leg is swinging because one of the rollers is broken. When I am typing, at the same time it is swinging, it goes when I type, and it keeps me deleting some letters. So, my 15 minutes time will take for one hour just for typing I have been looking for the best quality and affordable work desk.

Finally after some searching online, my wish list will come true soon. I have stumbled glass computer desks, a stylish and elegant desk. I really like it because of the quality, elegant, simple and easy to clean. The desk measurement is standard, even my niece can relax while playing online games. The shelves are designed for cpu and printers. You can place your workplace anywhere in the house.

Even in large company this workstation is best. Hopefully, I can have that this year. I am saving from my online task to make my wish list come true. My kids will surely love it also and they will use it as their study table.

Afraid of illness

My friend who is very strong in every aspect of life, become so weak. Yes it is true that when you discover you have illness, you become weak and hopeless. She’s the eldest and become the mother of her siblings when her mother works abroad, that was the time when she is in high school. She is always protective to her sibling’s and very loving to them. In short she is the mother to them. She don’t really enjoy being in that stage of life because of her situation. Her father is a vendor of fish in the market, and he doesn’t have time for them. Their father is very cruel. She works abroad after she gives birth to her son. As single parent she needs to work for her son and family. She even sends her siblings in private school and gives them the comfort of life. After 10 years working abroad, she’s back to her family for good.

Now she is so depressed because of her illness. She is having a heavy and prolongs menstruation. It’s been 30 days already, and she needs to visit her ob gyne. Today I accompany her for her laboratory test prior to her ultra sound. After 5 hours she get her lab test and visit back her ob gyne. Doctor advice her for the D & C.

What is D & C? It is refer to the opening (dilation) of the cervix and surgical removal of the part of the lining of the uterus by scraping (curettage). It is refer to the procedure that involves the process of dilation and removal of the uterine contents. It is perform to the patients having an abnormal uterine bleeding, or removal of cyst on the ovary. It can be done also on the following miscarriage or abortion cases because of the fetus fails to fully empty its content This is performed in the hospital or clinic while you are under general anesthesia.

The friend is so worried about her illness since her mother and her aunty have this too. Her aunty develop it into cancer, since it is already stage 4 when it is discover. She worried about her son. Her mother cried when she knows it. Her son feels sad about it. I try to lift her, not to worry at all, God is with her. She will be admitted for surgery on Thursday afternoon. My prayer and thoughts will be with her. Be strong my friend. We will be always with you.
