2018-03-13T21:12:00.004-07:00

Hello everybody,

I have updated the Basic Spanish 1 and Basic Spanish 2 documents to improve the readability. Now you can properly see the document outline if you use google docs to visualize them.
Also, in the index sections, each entry is a link to the actual section.
Hope they are easier to follow now.

Thank you and see you in class.

Basic grammar and examples are in two different docs now

2015-12-29T16:27:00.001-08:00

Hello and Happy New Year to everybody!
I have divided the old Basic Spanish 1 document (see resources) in two new docs to make it nicer the printing issue. The contents have not changed, just some minor tweaks here and there. But now you can decide to print the Basic Grammar or the examples that support it separately.

Hope you like the new version :-)

New level 3 text available

2015-10-12T16:09:00.000-07:00

Hello everybody!

I have just released a new text to practice for my level 3 students under the title "Una casita en la playa". It may be a little difficult this one but I hope that with a little work you will understand it all.

See you all :-)

Exams Page Refurbished

2013-11-15T02:59:00.001-08:00

Hello Everybody!

I have just updated the Exams page with all the exams done so far. You can check them out as an exercise to prepare the next test. Hope you find them useful.

¡Nos vemos en clase!

Added a new Basic Spanish 1 with class examples

2013-10-17T21:26:00.003-07:00

Hello everybody!

I have been working in a new improved version for Basic Spanish 1 and decided to make it available even though it is not finished yet. I think that the examples we have been using in class may help understand the grammar faster. It is not finished (will ever be?) but hope it may help you.

I don't think that to print it is the best idea because there are a lot of blank pages waiting to be filled (or you can print it and write down your own examples). In any case, download the file as pdf instead of directly print the google docs version.

hope my next post will not take as long as this one :-p

Working on Basic Spanish 2

2012-11-13T18:58:00.001-08:00

I have published a new document called Basic Spanish 2. It is not finished but I wanted to make it available so you can have a first glance of the next step. It is mainly aimed for Level 2 students. Anyway, don´t forget that first you need to masted Basic Spanish 1.

Have a nice reading @_@

Some changes in Basic Spanish 1

2012-11-06T22:46:00.002-08:00

I have made some changes in Basic Spanish 1 to make it easier to understand.

Now the verb "like" is in annex 2 and the preposition "to" is on annex 3. I have tried to make the explanation for the verb "gustar" clearer and straightforward but, as always, if there is any problem understanding it, please let me know in class time.

See you there >_<

New Level 2 Chapter to enjoy the reading experience

2012-10-30T23:39:00.000-07:00

Chapter 3 of the Level 3 story "Las Aventuras de Ariadna" is available here. Check it and make sure you understand every word. You can ask me about any expression you may find difficult to understand and we will discuss them in class.

Remember that learning need not be a traumatic experience @_@

Level 3 text already available

2012-10-12T18:24:00.002-07:00

No excuses. If you think your Spanish is too good for my Texts to Practice, you may be wrong now. There is a level 3 new story going on for those who want the real deal :-p

Ok, may be it is not that difficult after all. Enjoy the reading :-)

The "acentuación" Annex is finished

2012-09-30T03:43:00.000-07:00

Yes, I have just finished the Annex about "acentos", the way we have in Spanish to indicate where to put the stress of the word. Check it out at the Basic Spanish 1 document. Also added new stuff in the Spanish Vocabulary by Helu file. Now you can learn what to say on your next trip to Spain.

See some of you tomorrow ;-)
