Chauvinisme adalah semangat kebangsaan yang sangat mengagungkan bangsanya sendiri. Chauvinism sedikit identik dengan pemujaan terhadap dirinya dan bangsanya sendiri. Chauvinisme hampir sama dengan narsisisme yang memuja ketampanan dirinya yang tidak dimiliki oleh orang lain. Hitler adalah penganut narsisisme dan chauvinisme secara serentak.
