Dear Friends and Supporters of Atlanta Revolution Books

The world cries out for revolution, and the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA has embarked on bold plans to make leaps in advancing the movement for an actual revolution at the earliest possible time. See "Time To Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution” a message from the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA.

We here in Atlanta are shifting the focus of our work to support the national efforts. We will be concentrating on connecting people throughout the region with the works of Bob Avakian and his liberating new communism; spreading the website revcom.us and Revolution Newspaper, the lifeline of the revolution; and supporting the further development of the flagship store Revolution Books in New York City.

We are suspending our weekly discussions at the Little 5 Points Community Center. We will continue to make available the works of Bob Avakian and the literature and DVDs of the Revolutionary Communist Party by appointment, and we will send out periodic e-mail announcements to inform you of special events and meetings, as well as important developments and initiatives and ways you can participate.

We urge everyone to get more deeply into this revolution: get an e-subscription to Revolution Newspaper, if you don’t already have one; follow the revcom.us website closely; become a financial supporter by donating to or sustaining the BA Everywhere campaign, Revolution Newspaper and Revolution Books NYC; help spread the word by distributing promo cards and/or the newspaper. If you would like to talk about these other ways to contribute, please get in touch.

An Invitation

Let's go on a crucial journey together-full of unity against oppression and lively struggle about the source of the problem and the solution. Pursue your own convictions-that the outrages that move you are intolerable-to their logical conclusion, and be determined not to stop until those outrages have been eliminated. And if this, as well as learning about other outrages, and ideas about how this all fits together and flows from a common source-and how it could all be ended, and something much better brought into being-leads in the direction of seeing not only the need for bold and determined resistance, but also the need for revolution and ultimately communism, then don't turn away from that because it moves you beyond your comfort zone, challenges what had been your cherished beliefs, or because of prejudices and slanders. Instead, actively seek to learn more about this revolution and its goal of communism and to determine whether it is in fact the necessary, and possible, solution. And then act accordingly.
