Today is conservation day (14 Dec ) . Today morning I got to many messages from my friends and various organization. I am conscious about saving energy(electricity) and water. This was the main reason in my family for conflicts. I was trying to convenience them necessity of energy saving, slow & steady all in the family agree on energy saving benefits.

This article is purely devoted for energy saving and conservation of earth. Every one should contribute in this matter. If we want to give green and clean earth to our children, then we must save energy and protect earth from various types of pollution.

We have to work on simple steps nothing else to do, those simple steps are as follow;

Energy saving while driving

Drive at 40-50km/hr.
Proper selection of gears.
Use clutch pedal while changing gears.
Keep air and oil filters clean.
Maintain optimum tire pressure.
Take shortest route. Use GPS in unknown city.
Don't overload the vehicle unless essential.
Use public transport, it prevent pollution, energy, and money.

Electrical energy saving.

Switch off lights and fans when not required.
Use CFL instead of GSL lamps.
Light coloured painting.
Use sun light to to it's desired effect by proper ventilation.
Use energy efficient motors.
Use correct rating of power cables.
Use light weight fans with electronic regulator.
Don't put Television and other remote controlled sets in standby mode.
Avoid using of fan for drying clothes.
Replace 40W tube light by equivalent output 36W tube lights.
Use hibernate option instead of full shutdown to your PC.
Keep refrigerator away from wall by at least 200 mm.
Avoid frequent closing and opening of refrigerator door.
Use washing machine to its full capacity.
If immersion rods are used, switch off when water is heated to the required level.
Use Non-conventional energy sources like bio-gas, solar heaters/cookers, and wind mill to extent possible.
Clean bulbs and lights periodically to avoid reduction in illumination level.

Energy saving while cooking.

Use proper utensils for cooking.
Use copper and concave bottom for better heating effect.
Selection of proportionate utensils to the quantity of food to be cooked.
Ensure colour of burner flame to be blue by regular cleaning of burners.
Do initial preparation before putting ON gas.
Optimum usage of water quantity.
Allow frozen foods to reach room temperature before cooking.
Use insulated container for during heated food.

This tips are easy to follow steps but effective for changing the world. Just start following yourself and convince others to follow. You can change the world.

Nokia research centre (NRC) in conjunction with Tampere University of Technology (TUT), came out with a new concept, and getting popular with the name , “Nokia Instant Community”. This new concept “Nokia Instant Community” will let you Chat, Share video, music, photos, content etc. with those who have the same technology and concept with them. It will allow you to connect with infinite amount of friends and devices over huge geographical area.

The concept is new because it doesn’t need any Internet connection, any Bluetooth or Infrared, connection, and it doesn’t

need to find out any wifi hot spot area. It works completely by using the device’s adhoc wifi connections. You can make any no. of friends while moving anywhere and everywhere, without any cost. Yes if you don’t want to be disturbed or if want to hide yourself, than you can simply switch off the application.

BSE Sensex historical dates 18000 points.

Yesterday 8-April 2010 was a historical day in an Indian share market, as Sensex crossed 18000 point. Sensex touched 26 months high record. Sensex repeated the approximately 2 years 2 months/26 months high record. The sensex 18000 historical point is backed by global trends. The sensex level of 18000 was last seen on 9 Oct 2007 when it was going up towards 21000 points. After that the point of 18000 (Sensex) was again repeated on 18 Jan 2008 while going down towards 8000. Yesterday on 7 April 2010 again sensex crossed the historical point of 18000 and no body can say that this is the sign of going up or going down, because share market is the game of uncertainty, and any thing can happen in the world of stock exchange world wide.
All Asian markets are also on rally towards 19 months high. Lots of Predictions are being made that the Industries will give a good Q4 results.
These all historical trends seems little relative to each other, as US markets had also reached towards 18-months high on 1-4-2010.
But as usual for the Share market; when ever you will, think of doing trade(or you will, decide to do some interaday trading), that day the market will be volatile or will start crashing like a falling arrow. That's the Share market.

Today Apple announced the “i Pad” on 25-01-2010 Wednesday. Its a touch screen tablet computer with 9.7 inch screen. i Pad! yes i pad, its the new name pronounced in the world from Apple. Its the combination of every thing you want to keep with you, every time. You can take your Movie, Songs/Music, TV shows, Games, Photos, can read E-Books, E-mails, and be 24/7 online.

These all you can keep with you because its only 1.5 Pound or Approx. 700 Gram only with 10 Hours of battery backup. The iPad tablet is multi touch having finger gestures like iPhone. As “Ross Rubin” said “As its having larger screen it will require less swiping to navigation ratio”.

“iPad” is also going to capture the market of E-Book readers; in the coming year we will see the e-book readers every ware selling with the label of many recognised companies like Sony, Samsung, Amazon's Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Hearst Corp.(companies names are not written according to their rankings or positions, it's random) etc. Apple is using the ePub format, the most popular open book format in the world. iPad is bundled with personal media which you can carry with you most of the time.

It can be a tough competition for Apple iPad, in the time of recession where whole world is still not fully came out of it, and where lots of netbooks are already their in the market with the price between $300 to $ 500; but one thing is that you can't compare netbooks with Apple's iPad, you can say that “It's different!”.

You may have seen to many people, wearing a wireless head set and roaming around while talking. These are nothing but the blue tooth head set. Blue tooth head sets doesn't requires any wire connections to the mobile phone. You can use your mobile phone, make calls and receive phone calls without touching to your mobile phone. If you bought a new Bluetooth head set than here is a guide, which is going to explain you about, how to pair Bluetooth head set with your mobile and computer, how to make call and receive calls using your Blue tooth head set, how to take care of your Bluetooth head set, how to charge your head set, what is the meaning of different colours and led flash indicators of single multicolour LED on the blue tooth head set, and what will be the pass code for pairing of blue tooth head set with your mobile phone.

Blue tooth head set (BH) can allow you to make call and receive calls through your mobile phone wirelessly, while your mobile phone is kept into your pocket. Blue tooth head set or any blue tooth embedded device makes it possible to connect with another Bluetooth embedded devices without using cables or wires. A Bluetooth connection doesn't require your mobile phone and the headset be in line of sight, but it strictly requires that both devices should be switched ON and be within 10 meters or 30 feet from each other. (A) Connect the charger to the wall socket of 230V or 115V AC as specified on the charger cabinet, if you not received the charger with your bluetooth head set, than it is possible that you may get the usb to bluetooth cable, just connect it between your computer USB and your bluetooth head set. If the connection is ok and your bluetooth head set starts charging than a continuous RED LED light will start lighting. If charging does not start, disconnect the charger(computer side USB connector) and plug it again, and the charging may start. Full charging of Bluetooth Head set battery may take up to 2 hours. When the battery is fully charged , the RED LED indicator light on head set will turn OFF and it means that the battery of head set is fully charged. Now disconnect the charger from the socket or form the USB of PC and separate your blue tooth head set.

(B) A fully charged battery of a blue tooth head set, can give you up to, 4 hours of talk time or up to 60 hours of stand by time. However the talk time hours and standby hours or time may vary when used with different mobile phones, user settings, usage style, volume, and environment. When the battery will start running out of power than the RED indicator LED light will start to flash and their will be 5 prompt sound every after 20 seconds.

How to switch ON and OFF the Bluetooth headset.

(C) To switch ON your head set, press and hold answer/call/end key (their is only one button/key/press switch on most of the Bluetooth head sets) for 4 seconds, and the Blue LED indicator light starts to flash 4 times and their will be a prompt sound.

(D) To switch OFF your blue tooth head set, press and hold the answer/call/end key for 4 seconds until head set beeps 2 times and the RED LED indicator light flashes twice, and your Bluetooth head set is switched OFF now and no battery and power will be consumed.

How to pair the Bluetooth headset with the Mobile Phone.

Here is the general Bluetooth headset pairing techniques, you can use this technique between almost all BT headsets and mobile phones. (E) First make sure that your bt head set is turned OFF. (F) Push the answer/call/end key on the Bluetooth headset for 6 Seconds until the RED indicator light flashes alternately. (G) Switch ON bluetooth on your mobile phone(you can get bluetooth feature under connectivity option on most of the mobile handsets), and make sure to make it visible to all. Search the bluetooth devices from your mobile phone, under search option or under find more devices option. Your mobile phone will detect your bluetooth headset and will show the BT head set name such as BHxx (BH32 etc.) under found new devices list, choose the proper name which assigns your Bluetooth headset(read your Bluetooth headset manual for the name of your BT head set device). Click on the name it will ask you the pass code enter 0000, or 1234, or 1111 (or read your BT headset user manual and find out and enter the pass code which came with your BT headset). Most of the Bluetooth head set accepts the pass code of 0000, and don't worry it will not block your mobile phone or your headset. You only to pair your headset and mobile phone only once. (H) If the pairing between head set and mobile phone is successful than the headset Blue light will flash 12 times briefly for the first time followed by a single flash every 3 seconds. Now you can see the name of your blue tooth headset into your mobile phone under the paired devices list.

How to disconnect the Bluetooth headset from your mobile phone.(I) To use the BT head set with your PC or the laptop, you will need a Bluetooth adapter(USB Bluetooth adapter) to be connected into your desktop or laptop. USB Bluetooth adapter comes with a software, and you will have to install this software on your computer. Switch ON the bluetooth headset, than find the activated devices through the software on your computer and then pair with the above pass codes. Thus you can use the BT headset, for chat online with your friends wirelessly, or can use with your VOIP services.

Remember that your headset can be used on one mobile phone at a time, to use it with different handset or another handset you will have to first disconnect it from first handset. Their are various methods of disconnecting your head set from your mobile phone, few of them are as follows. (a) Switch OFF the bluetooth headset. (b) Disconnect the Bluetooth headset through your mobile phone . (c) Move the headset more than 10 meters or 30 feet away from the mobile phone. Take care not to delete the paired head set from your mobile phone, paired devices list, it will lead you to pair the BT headset again.

How to make/receive the call through BT headset.

(J) To make a call while wearing BT headset, just dial the numbers through your mobile phone, after dialling; you will listen the ring into your ear through Bluetooth headset. Some mobile phones also supports the voice calling, this can also be done using your BT headset. You will have to press the headset push button/call/answer for 3 seconds, and your mobile phone will start listening the names from your contact list. This dialling method needs lots of practice, and still it is not fool proof and many times dials the wrong number from your contact list. So the dialling using your mobile phone is only the perfect way to dial the desired number while using Bluetooth headset. (K) To end the call while talking through BT headset, just press the call/end/answer push button or key on the headset or cut/end the call through your mobile phone. (L) To answer the incoming call through your BT headset just press the call/end/answer key on the head set or you can also use the phone key to receive the call. If the automatic answer function is set ON, on your mobile phone, than the phone will automatically direct your call to your Bluetooth headset after certain numbers of rings.

Taking Care, Maintaining & Troubleshooting your Bluetooth Headset.

(M) Ensure that the battery is charged before connecting and using the head set with your phone. (N) Always keep your head set within the range of 10 meters or 30 feet from your mobile phone or computer. (O) It is suggested that to put your mobile and ware your head set at the same side of your body. (P) The full performance of a new battery will be achieved only after 2-3 complete charge and discharge cycles. (Q) Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to the charger, over charging may decrease its life time,and also it may dangerous. (R) Do not dispose the batteries in a fire as they may explode. My brother bought one tape recorder; Sony M470. Once upon a time (6-7 Years ago) it was my dream to purchase this tape recorder. Sony M470 tape recorder is a mini tape recording and play back device. Sony M470 is sweet, slim and compact, I saw it usually in black colour; I don't know if it is available in other colour also. But what I thought is different, I am thinking that how fast the technology is changing! Few years ago these types of tape recorders ware very hard to afford by normal person and also it was not easy to get it in every shop, but now a days, nearly every mobile phone is having the facility of voice recording, video recording, photography and MP3 music playing capabilities. Mobile phones has changed the way of living. Growth rate of electronics in the world can't be compared with any other growth. I remember that we ware use to design the projects and circuitry using discrete components (Basically my subject of knowledge is an Electronics) than we started using SMDs and now we use to play with Microcontrollers and Microprocessors. Now it seems that no circuits or projects can be made (build) or designed without the use of Micro Chips (Microcontrollers & Microprocessors). From last year I started to learn FPGA and CPLDs, the power of FPGA and CPLDs are tremendous, only I can say is “What You Can Imagine You Can Design” using these (also the power of GAL & PAL can't be ignored).

Their are lots of competitions in this field too, like any other businesses. Top manufacturers of semiconductor components and chips are already making the history every day, by designing new components. Top companies or the chip manufacturers which are in my list are Lattice, Altera, Xilinx, Freescale, Microchip, Atmel, Renesas, Maxim, Actel, Farnell, Samsung. These all companies are doing their best to provide new technologies to the world by inventing every day new chips or ICs. (Here I am not writing the names of above companies in terms of their rankings, it is only in the way I thought the names, and it has no relation with ranking of the company). Let's see what we will see in the coming years...... really the growth of electronics is unimaginable and tremendous, it touched everybody.

It became complete 1 year today of the 26/11 i.e. 26 November 2008, Mumbai terror attack. All scenes recalled into my mind, of that days. It was thrilling and I don't want to recall it at all. The Mumbai attack was on 26 November 2008 and continued till 29 November 2008. Approximately 173 people ware killed and 308 ware wound. Eight attacks occurred in South Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower the Oberoi Trident, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, the Orthodox Jewish-owned Nariman House, and the Metro Cinema. Ajmal Kasab is the only attacker captured alive by police.I want to give my sincere salute and homage to the martyred and victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

Vinita is the wife of late Gajendra Singh Bisht of National Security Guards (NSG), who martyred on November 26, 2008 while with terrorists who attacked prime spots in Mumbai for over two nights. "My personal loss will never lead me to ditch my country. Both my children will grow up to join the Indian armed forces," Vinita said. And I just said “Salute to You Mam”.
