What is Satan Trying to Steal From You? (Various Scriptures)

2019-01-19T22:28:00.000-06:00

Satan job is to steal your identity by making sure you never find out who are.

When the devil finds out that you know who you are--the devil will leave you along. Matthew(4:4) (But Jesus answered, "The scripture says, 'Man cannot live on bread alone, but needs every word that God speaks."

When you know who are, you don't have to prove it.

The devil knows who you are.
God knows who you are.
But do you know who are?

The Bible is the reflection....it is your mirror....When you read and study the Bible, you can see where you are and God's plan for your life. Proverbs can help you with the wisdom and understanding needed to get there. According to Proverbs 3:5-7 says Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. Never let yourself think that you are wiser than you are; simply obey the Lord and refuse to do wrong. And Proverbs 2:9-12 says If you listen to me, you will know what is right, just, and fair. You will know shat you should do. You will becomewis, and your knowledge will give you pleasure. Your insight and understanding will protect you and prevent you from doing the wrong thing.

In Genesis 1:26-27, the Word of God says "And now we will make human beings: they will be like us and resemble us. They will have power over the fish, the birds and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small. So God created human beings, making them to be like Himself. He created them male and female.)

You can destroy the body but you can't destroy the spirit.

I am a speaking spirit like God.
Genesis 1:26-27 And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us. They will have power over the fish, the birds and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small. So God created human beings, making them to be like Himself. He created them male and female.

1John 4:17 wrote Love is made perfect in us in order that we may have courage on the Judgement Day; and we will have it because our life in this world is the same as Christ's.

In Psalms 82:6 'You are gods,' I said: 'all of you are sons of the Most High.'

Love (I Corinthians 13:1-13) Good News Translation

2019-01-18T23:03:00.000-06:00

1 I may be able to speak the language of men and even of angels,

but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong

or a clanging bell.

2 I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all

knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith

needed to move mountains----but if I have no love, I am nothing.

3 I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be

burned ---but if I have no love, this does me no good.

4 Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

5 love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep

a record of wrongs;

6 love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

7 Love never give up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

8 Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary;

there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but they will cease; there

is knowledge, but it will pass.

9 For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial;

10 but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear.

11 When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all those of

a child; now that I am a man, I have no more use for childish ways.

12 What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-

face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete--as complete

as God's knowledge of me.

13 Meanwhile these three remains; faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of

these is LOVE.

The Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26) Good News Translation

2019-01-18T02:26:00.000-06:00

22 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.

24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with
all its passions and desires.

25 The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives.

26 We must not be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.

The Lord Guides a Man (Psalm 37:18-24) Good News

2019-01-09T00:10:00.001-06:00

18 The Lord takes care of those who obey him, and the land will be theirs forever. 19 They will not suffer when times are bad; they will have enough in time of famine. 20 But the wicked will die; the enemies of the Lord will vanish like wild flowers; they will disappear like smoke. 21 The wicked man borrows and never pays back, but the good man is generous with his gifts. 22 Those who are blessed by the Lord will possess the land, but those who are cursed by him will be driven out. 23 The Lord guides a man in the way he should go and protects those who please him. 24 If they fall, they will not stay down, because the Lord will help them up.

2019-01-06T01:00:00.001-06:00

1 O God, you are my God and I long for you. My whole being desire you;
like a dry, worn-out, and waterless land, my soul is thirsty for you.

2 Let me see you in the sanctuary, let me see how mighty and glorious you are.

3 Your constant love is better than life itself, and so I will praise you.

4 I will give you thanks as long as I live; I will raise my hands to you in prayer.

5 My soul will feast and be satisfied, and I will sing glad songs of praise to you.

6 As I lie in bed, I remember you; all night long I think of you,

7 because you have always been my help. In the shadow of your wings I sing for joy.

8 I cling to you, and your hand keeps me safe.

9 Those who are trying to kill me will go down into the world of the dead.

10 They will be killed in battle, and their bodies eaten by wolves.

11 Because God gives him victory, the king will rejoice. Those who make promises
in God's name will praise him, but the mouth of liars will be shut.

Don't Worry but Trust, Commit and Have Patience (Psalms 37:1-9) Good News Translation

      plants that wither.

3 Trust in the Lord and do good; live in the land and be safe.

4 Seek your happiness in the Lord, and he will give you your
   heart's desire.

6 he will make your righteousness shine like the noonday sun.

7 Be patient and wait for the Lord to act; don't be worried about
those who prosper or those who succeed in their evil plans.

8 Don't give in to worry or anger; it only leads to trouble.

9 Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land,
but the wicked will be driven out.

2018-12-31T02:17:00.001-06:00

1    A good reputation is better than expensive perfume;
and the day you die is better than the day you are born.

5 It is better to have wise people reprimand you than to have
      stupid people sing your praises.

6 When a fool laughs, it is like thorns crackling in a fire. It
   doesn't mean a thing.

7 When a wise man cheats someone, he is acting like a fool.
If you take a bribe, you ruin your character.

8 The end of something is better than its beginning.
Patience is beter than pride.

9 Keep your temper under control; it is foolish to harbor a grudge.

11 Everyone who lives ought to be wise; it is as good as receiving
an inheritance and will give you as much security as money can.
Wisdom keeps you safe----this is the advantage of knowledge.

Running Toward the Goal (Philippians 3:12-16) Good News Translation

2018-04-09T01:18:00.003-05:00

12 I do not claim that I have already succeeded or have already become perfect. I keep striving to win the prize for which Christ Jesus has already won me to himself.
13 Of course, my brother, I really do not think that have already won it; the one thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my best to reach what is ahead.
14 So I run straight toward the goal in order to win the prize, which is God's call through Christ Jesus to the life above.
15 All of us who spiritually mature should have this same attitude. But if some of you have a different attitude, God will make this clear to you.
16 However that may be, let us go forward according to the same rules we have followed until now.

God's Mercy is Abundant (Ephesians 2:4-10) Good News Translation

2018-03-13T01:00:00.002-05:00

4 But God's mercy is so abundant, and His love for us is to so great,
5 that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God's grace that you have been saved.
6 In our union with Christ Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world.
7 He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of his grace in the love he showed us in Christ Jesus.
8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your efforts, but God's gift so that no one can boast about it.
10 God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do.

God's Words Give Life and Health to Anyone Who Understands Them (Proverbs 4:23-27) Good News Translation

2018-03-10T21:39:00.001-06:00

23 Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts,
24 Never say anything that isn't true. Have nothing to do with lies and misleading words.
25 Look straight ahead with honest confidence; don't hang your head in shame.
26 Plan carefully what you do, and whatever you do will turn out right.
37 Avoid evil and walk straight ahead. Don't go one step off the right way.

God Has the Last Word (Proverbs16:1-2) Good News Translation

2018-03-10T21:29:00.000-06:00

1 You may make your plans, but God has the last word.
2 You may think everything you do is right, but the Lord judges your motives.
3 Ask God to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out.
4 Everything the Lord has made has its destiny; and the destiny of the wicked is destruction.

Faith and Action (James 2:14-20) Good News Translation

2018-03-07T22:50:00.000-06:00

14 My brother, what is it for someone to say that he has faith if his actions do not prove it? Can that faith save him?
15 Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don't hve enough to eat.
16 What good is there in your saving to them, "God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!"---if you don't give them the necessities of life?
17 So it is with faith; if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead.
18 But someone will say, "One person has faith, another has actions." My answer is, "Show me how anyone can have faith by my actions."
19 Do you believe that there is only one God? Good! The demons also believe--and tremble with fear.
20 You fool! Do you want to be shown that faith without actions is useless?

God's Plan Revealed (Ephesian 3:1-13) New Living Translation

2018-01-08T00:22:00.001-06:00

1 When I think of all this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for the benefit of you Gentiles . . .
2 assuming, by the way, that you know God gave me the special responsibility of extending his grace to you Gentiles.
3 As I briefly wrote earlier, God himself revealed his mysterious plan to me.
4 As you read what I have written, you will understand my insight into this plan regarding Christ.
5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now by his Spirit he has revealed it to his holy apostles and prophets.
6 And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus.
7 By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.
8 Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.
9 I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.
10 God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
11 This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.
12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.
13 So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored.

There Is One Lord, One Faith, And One Spirit (Ephesians 4:2-7 & 4:17-19) Good News Translation

2017-11-08T00:57:00.001-06:00

Ephesians 4:2-7
2 Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your loveby being
tolerant with one another.
3 Do your best to preserve the unity which the Spirit gives by
means of the peace that bind you together.
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as there is one hope to
which God has called you.
5   There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 there is one God and Father of all mankind, who is Lord of
all, works through all, and is in all.
7 Each one of us has received a special gift in proportion to
what Christ has given.

Ephesians 4:17-19
17 In the Lord's name, then, I warn you: do not continue to live
like the heathen, whose thoughts are worthless
18 and whose minds are in the dark. They have no part in the life
that God gives, for they are completely ignorant and stubborn.
19 They have lost all feeling of shame; they give themselves over
to vice and do all sorts of indecent things without restraint.

Do Not Be Deceived, NO One Makes a Fool of God (Galatians 6:3-8) Good News Translation

2017-11-05T21:33:00.000-06:00

3 If someone thinks he is something when he really is nothing,
he is only deceiving himself.
4 Each one should judge his own conduct. If it is good, then he
can be proud of what he himself has done without having to compare
it with what someone else has done.
5 For everyone has to carry his own load.
6 The man who is being taught the Christian message should share
all the good things he has with his teacher.
7 Do not decieve yourselves; no one make a fool of God. A person
will reap exactly what he plants.
8 If he plants in the field of his natural desires, from it he will gather
the harvest of death; if he plants in the field of the Spirit, from the
Spirit he will gather the harvest of eternal life.

Don't Allow Anyone to Condemn You (Colossians 2:16-19) Good New Translation

2017-11-03T21:33:00.002-05:00

16 So let no one make rules about what you eat or drink or about holy days
or the New Moon Festival or the Sabbath.
17 All such things are only a shadow of things in the future; the reality is
Christ.
18 Do not allow yourselves to be condemned by anyone who claims to be
superior because of special visions and who insists on false humility and
the worship of angels. For no reason at all, such a person is all puffed up by
his human way of thinking
19 and has stopped holding on to Christ, who is the head of the body. Under
Christ's control the whole body is nourished and held together by its joints
and ligaments, and it grows as God wants it to grow.

We Love because God Loves Us (I John 4:19-21) Good News Translation

2017-11-02T22:25:00.001-05:00

19 We love because God first loved us.
20 If someone says he loves God, but hates
his brother, he is a liar. For he cannot love God,
who he has not seen, if he does not love his brother
whom he has seen.
21 The command that Christ has given us is this:
whoever loves God must Love his brother also.
