Visit my baby Avan on Sunday. He is so cute, with his little fingers and toes. Can't wait til he can WALK! So I took my Nutrition Exam today, it was pretty tricky and hard =/ hopefully I get a C at least. I guess this is what I get for not reading the 5 chapters. But then again I did study the class notes/slides. Grr, and I got a political quiz tomorrow, and yes I didn't read, haha. Hmm, the weather looks like its going to rain again. It did this morning. Weathers/worlds been ugh lately. Poor chile, 8.8 earthquake. Fist Haiti, now that =/ Btw, the Haiti song is pretty good, makes me sad though. Okay enough about sad things. Half of the stuff I ordered online came home!(: My bag and hello kitty decal sticker came home! I'm still debating on where I should put that sticker on my car. Alright, gotta go help my little brother on his multiplication.

The rain was heavy today. I had to go pick up my litte brother @ seven trees then went to andrew hill and waited for my other brother. Speaking of him, he's getting on my last nerve. I can't wait til the day he learns how to grow up and act his age. I mean he's a freshman now but he acts like an 8 year old. I dislike how he treats my parents sometimes. OH, and my mom came in my room earlier, she was telling me things. And outta nowhere she told me how spoiled and bratty I was when I was little. She told me how I use to tell her to put lipstick on me too, when I saw her putting it on. She also mentioned that once she was done putting the lipstick on me, I kept opening my mouth because I was afraid that once I closed my mouth, the lipstick would go away. ahahah! i find that funny.. And she told me that whenever I saw my cousin with Barney or Hello Kitty stuff, I would make my dad get it for me too. yeah, I"m kinda over Barney now, haha, but I still love HELLO KITTY ! yumm, my mom just walked in and gave me some fresh cut up pineapple<3 hope this takes my mind off of sushi because I craving for it. grr, I got nutrition exam on tuesday from ch 1-5 but i never even read the book ! think imma rewatch the lectures online and listen carefully, and just review the slides cause reading 5 chapters now is too much for me. hope its not as hard as everyone said it is. I needa pass this class in order to take my main nursing classes after. alright, time to go eat my two slices of pineapple(: what a long blog..

Tet was a fun week, 4 days off. Went out those days going to family house parties. Got to catch up with my friend and the party and gambled, haha. i only won 3 bucks though, but heyy @ least i didnt lose. But damn, all that fun, now im way behind in hw again, haha. Two essays due tomorrow, and two test/exam. The only thing im looking forward to is spring break, i needa break. havent gone out lately due to all the school work =/ i feel bad when my friends call me to go out, but i turn them down every time =/ so for now, im looking forward to that spring break and waiting for my stuff from online to come home, haha. just been a few days but i spent hecka money =/ shopping online is also so addicting ! so much nice/cute stuff i wanna get. alright, time to study for psychology since im so behind and i got a test for that class tomorrow. thank god our professor lets us chose a partner to work with !

It's been kinda of sun lately, kinda want summer to start soon.
Yay, to no school monday(: But evc night classes been nicee. People in there are pretty fun and outgoing, but wayy older than I expected.
I didn't watch the superbowl like others, my parents did. I'm not into football, haha, but I love the Doritos commercials !
So far, the only thing I'm looking forward to is, CHINESE NEW YEARS ! woooot (:

- had 4 hrs of sleep last night
- came to psychology class 20min late
- blanked out on my political science quiz
- behind in all my classes already =/
- 3 different papers due monday, FML.
- got out of class early today
- pick up brother, then evc to get my books, thank god i'm done getting all my books
ohh, and evc night class wasn't so bad. i actually liked it.

Gosh, all these school work lately, so boring !
Haven't done anything fun in weeks =/

First Week of School

Overall my first week of school was alright. I didn't like how I had to be sick on my first week =/ Lets just hope I get better over the weekends. I still can't believe I got into the psychology class(: So then I finally got to drop comm20 ( public speaking). I'm so not ready to take that class this semester, so I guess I'll just deal with it next semester. I have a feeling that this semesters going to be CRAZY! I'm taking chem30a, nufs8, psyc1, hist15b, and some computer lab I just got in yesterday.. & english1a night class@evc, lets hope I don't fall asleep! So I'm starting that on Monday, wonder how its going to be like. ANYWAYS, so far I like how my history teachers are pretty funny,but then again the class seems hard. We have two teacher in that class because its like two class, one week about history the other about political science, meaning double the midterms/finals! For some reason, I'm kinda excited for chem because the labs seems interesting. Nutrition seems fun so far because I don't have to attend class (: The lectures are online. And I haven't attend my other classes yet since I just got into them, but dang do I have so much homework so far ! But I like my schedule times, cause I get to go home early most of the time (=

Ugh, its been raining a lot lately. Bleh, on our last week of our break too ! I hope it doesn't rain like this on the first week of school. There was even a few thunders today. Haha, i just realized that i only have one class on the first day of school too, only 50minutes (: I kind of want to go back to school, just to see how my classes/classmates going to be like, but i know once school starts, i'm going to regret it. hope i survive though my classes this semester.

Drugs are something I don’t do. I don’t smoke. It seems like people do these things when there depress or for fun. To me, I can always find something else to help me when I’m depress and there are also another things I can do for fun that wouldn’t harm my life.

Everyone has unhealthy habits. My unhealthy habit is that sometimes I take a nap after eating. I know its an unhealthy habit because my food wont be able to digest so ill get fat. Its not that I plan to sleep after eating, but when I’m full I tend to get sleepy.

What I learn about money is that we should think before we spend it; make sure it’s worth it. In my opinion, I feel like the harder we work to get the money, the more we’ll learn to appreciate it and not waste it on things not needed. The economy is going down, so don’t spent money like it grows on tree. Cherish the money that we work hard for.

I rank money high in my life. Money is something everyone uses. In order to get money everyone has to work hard to get it. Without money we won’t be able to live. Without money we won’t have a home, no food to eat, and no clothes to wear. By having money it brings us entertainment in life.

Last week we had our final in class. Professor Dan a senior and a peer mentor to class, so we can give them an interview. He divided the class into two groups, and have each group make up a set of questions so we can ask the senior and the peer mentor. The senior and peer mentor that our class interview was Alison and Amirissa Mina. We had one student from each of the group ask the set of questions while they answered. Not only did they answer the questions, but they told us about their sjsu experience and some advice about school. They also told us how things are changing and were going to face some issues that they didn’t have to face back then. While the interview was going on Professor Dan was recording them on his laptop. This was suppose to be an individual assignment, but during class Professor Dan decided that we can all work together. So he edit the audio in class and showed us how it was done. At the end he said that our assignment was done since we all worked together in class, which I think is awesome because we all got it done, so now we have more time to work on our scholarly paper and study for all the finals for our other classes.

Working at a place you love wouldn't be working because its something you love. So people choose a career that they know they can work with for the rest of their lives. Sleep Habits

Everyone has their own sleeping habits. I like to sleep with two pillows and hugging something when I sleep because it makes me feel safe and secure. I usually just sleep hugging my blanket or my carebear that's about half my size, haha. Yes, I do have a hard time sleeping sometimes. I hate it when you're tired but you lay in bed tossing and turning for the longest time ever. I usually have a hard time sleeping when I have sometimes on my mind, or thinking about the next day. And no I dont sleep throughout the night. Sometimes I just wake up in the middle of the night for no reason but sometimes it caused by a dream.

Cheating is something everyone goes through at least once in their life or probably even more. Yes, I have to admit I cheated before. I remember back then in high school when me and my friends would ask the people who has the class before us to remember the questions on the quiz. Cheating is bad, but it’s sometimes something we have to do to accomplish through life, even though sometimes I do fell really guilty.

How serious is my Test Anxiety?

I don’t feel physically ill before a test, but ill always feel nervous. And yes, sometimes I do have trouble organizing my times to prepare well for exams. I agree that I could do better if I could ignore how nervous I feel during test. And I also hate it when my mind goes blank when I’m taking a test. And the night before the test I would usually have a difficult time trying to sleep. I start to panic when other students finish their exam while I’m still working on mines.

Our group, Eggrolls, did a parody of the VMA 2009 when Kanye West came up to interrupt Taylor Swift during her winning speech. We started out with someone watching TV. She flipped through the channels and stopped at VMA. That was when Taylor Swift was announced the winner of Best Female Video. Kanye West came up to interrupt her saying Beyonce has the best video of all time. Then we showed a clip of the single ladies dance. It went back to Kanye and then that's when our group came up to Kanye telling him that Eggrolls has the best video of all time.

2nd workshop

Yesterday, we had an in class workshop. Justin went over slides in class telling us how to register classes for spring. He taught us some technique on how to find ge classes and certain classes you need on mysjsu account so make it easier for us. He told us that we should have a list of classes that were going to take for spring so we will be prepare when it's our time to register. He showed us where to go to on our mysjsu account in order to know when our registering date is. He told us that we should be right at the computer and wait till when it starts and apply as soon as possible, and how we should try to get all our ge done first. He also recommend other stuff about classes that i found helpful.

1st Workshop

October 28th, Wednesday last week i attended a workshop with Kathy. First we went into the class and went through a few slides and took notes. We learned about the study of animations, social contract theory, and social contract theorist. The 3 social contract theorist was Thomas Hobbes,John Locke, and Jean Jacques Rousseau. We were having a conversation on weather people or bad or not. Thomas Hobbes believe that people are bad, John Locke believe that people are good, and Jean Jacques Rousseau believes that people are born a blank slate. After the slide we watched a short clip of Family Guy. After the video we split up into groups and answer questions analyzing the clip.

Movie Night

Yesterday I went to the movie night, to watch UP ! (:
I never got to watch it in theaters, so I'm happy that I finally have the chance to, hahaha.
I went with thuy and kathy, it was pretty fun. I LOVE it, the movie is cute. There were a lot of people their watching it too. People were sitting in chairs and on the grass cuddling around with their blankets. My friends and I went to the little store near there and bought some junk food to much on while we watched it. I' m starting to like sjsu school events.
