All of the music that is already here will stay available, unless Blogger closes it down.

But I will not be posting on this blog anymore, basically that "Content Warning" is a death knell for a blogger, and who knows when they will ever remove it. It's just like fighting city hall with both hands tied behind your back. It's not worth the hassle. Despite the fact that there is ten years work on here.

So from now on I will be posting on http://bearlyrambling.com/ and not here.

Blog on Hiatus due to Blogger / Google

This Blog is on Hiatus.

Thanks to Google / Blogger it is impossible to continue until they finish their inspection. If they are even doing one.

Currently I have lost the ability to share to Google+, the ability to enter comments on the blog, the ability to use ad-sense and make money on the blog.

In addition was it really necessary to remove the "Blog tools" section, click Export blog > Download blog?

The "Content Warning" came about because I had a publicity photo from one of the groups that showed breasts. It was a tasteful and artistic picture. One would have to be an absolute pervert to see anything sexual in it. But I guess one of them came by and complained about the photo.

The offending photo was removed on March 31, 2016. Still no response to the review.

NOTE: This post is post number 4,556 and this blog has been going since 2006 and never once a complaint before. Just saying.

Sometimes in life we push away the people who we're closest to, because we ourselves are going through difficult times. 'Holy War' is a song about these misplaced frustrations, the internal battles we fight everyday and the joys we could achieve if we learn to accept our own flaws whilst celebrating, and not exploiting, those who give us love.

Meet Little Green Cars, they are Stevie Appleby, Faye O'Rourke, Adam O'Regan, Donagh Seaver O'Leary and Dylan Lynch.
And they hail from Dublin, Ireland.

Little Green Cars are an Irish indie, alt-country-rock band.

They produce amazing harmonies and some very very deep songs.
A true pleasure to listen to.

They have just released their new album 'Ephemera' which is now available on CD, Vinyl and digital download.

Hunt for it folks, you won't be disappointed.

Little Green Cars said this about the album.

l leave you with a genuine treat, their full concert from KEXP.
Those guys in Seattle certainly put out some great musical performances.

Oh boy have we got a treat for you today, courtesy of my buddy Bill in Puerto Vallarta.
Meet Nat Pearson who is a beautiful talented young lady who hails from Perth, Australia.

Nat Pearson is an upcoming Australian pop-country artist, gaining attention for her emotive and dynamic vocals, catchy tunes and her fresh clean sound. Always carrying a notebook on hand, sporting a sparkle in her eye, and a brilliant smile, Nat Pearson is a breath of fresh air set to take the Australian Pop-Country Music scene by storm.

Her debut pop-rock/country track ‘Senseless’, carried her straight to the Top 10 Pop Artists in the Australian Independent Music Awards (MusicOz) in 2013. Performing has always been her driving force, with a love of singing and the stage from a young age that continued through her teens, and adulthood. She was voted WA's RAW: Musician of the year in 2015, and recently opened for Jessica Mauboy and Nathaniel at their Perth show.

Her current single release is "Chance at Love" which is a really cool country / pop song. There is no video as yet, but you can catch a taste of it in the last video on this post.

This is such a beautiful selection of songs I had to share it.

These are the words of Moji Taali

This is my first collection of voices of Iranian women. It contains music produced by Iranian female singers and musicians, whose voices have been suppressed in recent years. They are forbidden from singing alone and can only sing along with men.

This is my contribution to reversing this cycle. These songs only have female singers and men -at most- just play along.

You probably know Bonnie McKee already.

Bonnie is particularly known for collaborating with pop singer Katy Perry, and the duo have co-written the hits "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," "Part of Me," "Wide Awake," and "Roar" together. Bonnie McKee also co-wrote "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz, which became the second best-selling song by a British artist in the digital era.

Today we meet a talented young lady from Marlow, Bucks in England.

That's just around the corner from where I lived (High Wicombe) for a while.

But she is currently based in London, the greatest city in the world.

Doris Brendel is the daughter of famed classical pianist Alfred Brendel and former The Violet Hour vocalist collaborated with producer and multi-instrumentalist Lee Dunham, (Primary Slave) on their studio album "Upside Down World". The eclectic mix of art-rock, pop, blues, hard rock, prog, you name it.

We'll start of with a terrific track with Lee Dunham.
Taken from Doris Brendel's album "Not Utopia", "Kind to Be Cruel" is a dreamscape featuring orchestra players from Hertfordshire, UK, and filmed at the Drill Hall in Ware.

Kylie Odetta is a masterful singer/songwriter and has been called an old soul, she has penned over 200 songs. Her music is playful, powerful and soulful.

You might call her an indie artist with hints of jazz, soul and pop influences.

Can't Erase It

This song was inspired by and in memory of the four USC Upstate students who lost their lives in a car crash in October of 2015. It is a tribute to anyone who has ever lost someone they love. An awesome talent from Sweden,who could easily storm the charts on this side of the pond, meet the beautiful Miriam Bryant.

A lady with a terrific set of pipes. Miriam was born in Göteborg, Sweden.

She is an English-Swedish-Finnish* singer and songwriter signed to Warner Music in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and recently signed a contract for Interscope Records in the United States.

* Father English, Mother Finnish, born in Sweden. Simple huh.

Here's another brilliant track from Miriam.

This time recorded on "Så mycket bättre" ("So Much Better") which is a Swedish reality television show that airs on TV4 as a local version of the original Dutch "Best Singers Of Holland" series. The basic premise is that each artist attempts to do their own version of another artists well-known songs, with each person getting an episode featuring all of their songs being performed by the other musicians.

Miriam certainly produces a polished performance.

She hails from Les Sables-D'Olonne, France. And she makes wonderful music.

I began my musical career playing the recorder by ear at the age of four, and continued with music in my teens, studying oboe.

I've discovered, and fell completely in love with the harmonica in my late thirty's. From the start I was successful in covering a broad range of genres, Blues, Celtic and Jazz. I've worked a lot at the new technique called overbending which allows one to play the full chromatic scale on a diatonic harmonica.

Amongst the very talented musicians I've played with are: Charlie Musselwhite, Kenny Neal, Melody Gardot Jean-Jacques Milteau, Basile Leroux, a famous French guitarist, and many more...

I've won the title of World harmonica vice champion in 2009.

This is the first tune I heard from Christelle which really turned me on to her sounds.

We finish up today with another beautiful piece.
Manhã de Carnaval appeared as a principal theme in the 1959 Portuguese-language film Orfeu Negro (Black Orpheus) by French director Marcel Camus.

And this is one of the most beautiful renditions of the tune I have heard.

Time to re-visit a blues slinger from the UK.
Chantel McGregor has graced these pages before.

I just thought it was time to catch up with her and see what she is up to.
Glad I did, she has a new album recently released.

Chantel's life is music and she has won two British Blues Awards for 'guitarist of the year' in 2013 and '14 respectively.

Her second album "Lose Control" tones down the blues sound and notches up the modern rock production.
And boy does she shred that guitar.

Saramai is a singer-songwriter from Navan, County Meath, Ireland.
She has an achingly beautiful voice.

Chosen as one of Guinness Amplify’s emerging artists this year she played a showcase gig in Galway’s famous Roisin Dubh venue and Guinness tweeted ‘The crowd are loving Saramai’s sound. A true original!’. Her debut EP was recorded live by Tommy McLaughlin at Attica Studios.

Experimental pop visionary Ramsey possesses a uniquely dark and emotive vocal style that quickly separates her from her contemporaries. Ramsey has been pushing out music almost constantly in recent months, amassing hundreds of thousands of Soundcloud listens as the public spread her work. Following the realm of Glass Animals, Portishead, and Phantogram, Ramsey embodies all influences within her own music, choosing to write and produce all her own work.

Today we get to meet Rosie Carney, the charismatic 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Donegal, Ireland.

She writes some really beautiful songs and she has a voice that was made to sing such songs.

Gathering inspiration from the beautifully rugged landscape of her home, Rosie Carney writes songs that are at once spare yet achingly beautiful. Carney is confirmed to perform at SXSW this year and will release a series of singles in support of her U.S. visit.

This is the first of those singles, very atmospheric and etherial.

"‘The concept of the song is really hidden in it’s title. It is partially dark, partially stripped back to the bone, if you can say that about emotions. It was inspired by the events that occur at the end of any relationship, and how you do feel the vulnerability, the rawness, the real human emotion. It’s not meant to be all sad…..after all, the season winter holds the promise of life, of bursting forth into spring, doesn’t it?’"

For my regular readers, sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have been having problems with my eyes for quite a few months now, I have finally had surgery to correct that situation. As the old songs goes "I can see clearly now" so hopefully will be able to get back to posting regularly.
