The God Honouring Home

The Christian Church cannot flourish without the Christian home. The Christian home is the backbone of the nation, the salt of civilization. A Christian home is an institution where parents are bonded together by Christian love, where children are welcome and Spiritually instructed, and the Lord Jesus is not only the supposed head of the home, but the actual head, where parents and children gather daily for family worship. Otherwise, when out of order, the enemy comes to bring evil on your children, such as learning disabilities, gender confusion or a rebellious child. God has made it clear that the husband is to be the priest of the home.

I. God-fearing Fathers: God has placed the husband as head of the home Gen. 18:19. Abraham commanded his household faithfully. The household includes the wife, children, and servants.

Eph. 5:23, "For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church."

This is God’s order and the home that reverses it breaks God’s plan and destroys the peace of that home.

This does not mean that the wife is a slave beneath the husband’s feet. She is an helpmeet, taken from his side to remain at his side, an equal partner.

It is the husband's duty to love his wife. Eph. 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it."

This isn't mere respect. This is the tremendous love of I Cor. 13, loving in health, in sickness, in poverty, and in posterity.

Wives, if your husband is out of order or is making wrong decisions, you keep your mouth shut and go to the Lord for the Lord to communicate to your husband. If you do this, your trust will grow, God will bring more peace, etc.

Now, if the husband asks your advise, you have a right to your opinion or thoughts about issue but he is the ultimate decision maker and whatever he decides, you have to honor his decision even when it is wrong.

When a wife nags or corrects a husband, it only puts the husband in defense and only creates division and confusion in the household. More things are done in prayer. You see God is the husband's covering and when you overstep your boundaries of the order, then you are interfering in God's ways. For the wife, it only shows the wife lacks trust in her husband or God. Read Proverbs 31 in which gives great instructions to the wife.

Now, the husband is required to be faithful to his wife. We live in an age of lax moral standards and easy divorce and infidelity. The standards of God have not changed. God still demands honesty, frankness, and faithfulness between the partners contracting marriage.

It is the husband's duty to comfort his wife in time of sorrow, I Sam. 1:8. Even though most husbands are very detached emotionally, they should support their wives and give them strength because they are their covering.

He should consult with his wife on business matters, for they are a team. Like I said earlier, wives should be consulted on but whatever decision he makes, she has to honor his decision regardless if she thinks it is right or wrong.

By virtue of marriage, they two have become one, a single unit, Gen. 31:4-7.

Jacob's wives rightly reply in verse 16, "Whatsoever God hath said to you, do". Which means, we are yours, we belong to you, we obey you now.

The Christian husband will always put Christ first in his life, Luke 14:26. What if he does not do this, then the wife, needs to pray and cover her husband daily.

He must love his wife, but he must love Christ more.

The husband is priest of the family and is responsible to establish a family altar for daily family worship. He is responsible for grace at meals.

Job offered sacrifices for the whole family, Job. 1:5.

II. God-fearing Mothers: Almost all great men have been made great by one or two loving women - A godly mother or a devoted wife. They are tremedous assets.

The wife's first duty is to love and and serve Jesus Christ, Luke 14:26.

The wife's second duty is to obey her husband. Eph. 5:22, "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord." You see it says submit to your husbands even when they make wrong choices.

Sarah was very exemplary. I Pet. 3:6, "Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord." This is a hard lesson for the modern wife, but she can never be a happy, God-fearing, and God-pleasing woman, until she submits to the plan of God.

The reason for this is given in I Tim. 2:11-15, that Eve was the first in the transgression in the garden of Eden. See also Gen. 3:16.

If the husband is unsaved, she will have to become the spiritual head of the home, yet in subjection to her own husband. God will give wisdom and grace.

God's ideal Christian home is where both parents love Jesus.

Wives are not only to respect and obey their husbands, but they are to love them, too. Titus 2:4. Husbands need a great deal of affection, too.

The woman is not to be adorned with ornaments, I Tim. 2:9,10. That is, outward adornments, but they ought to be adorned with good works, including:

1. Modesty and sobriety. I Tim. 2:9, so sadly lacking in this day and age.

2. With a meek and quiet spirit. I Pet. 3:4,5.

Good wives and good mothers are wonderful gifts from the Lord. They become a tremendous blessing to their husbands and families. Prov. 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous woman, for her price is far above rubies."

Prov. 31:12, "She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life."

Wives need a bit of appreciation and praise occasionally. Prov. 31:28, "Her children arise up, and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praiseth her."

III God-fearing Parents: A home cannot be happy without children. The parents who deliberately hinder the birth of a family are disobeying God and waiting for judgement.

God's order, "Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth", Gen. 1:28.

In some cases, God closes the womb and even though the husband and wife pray for children, their prayers are denied, temperarily or permanently (Hannah). Did you know envy and jealousy will also bring a curse to the womb?

Parents are to realize that their children are a precious heritage from the Lord.

Parents are to love their children, Titus 2:4.

Parents are to bring their children to the Lord at an early age, Matt. 19:13,14.

Parents are to train and discipline their children for the Lord. Prov. 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it".

Parents, be sure you BRING your children to Sunday School and Church.

Teach the children Bible stories at home and give them a part in family prayers.

Teach the children to obey God and the laws of the country, Duet. 32:46.

Eli was punished because he could not control his wicked sons.

Parents are to provide for their children - food, clothing, and opportunities for an education and means to choose their own life vocation under God, I Tim. 5:8.

Parents are not to provoke their children to wrath, Eph. 6:4. Sometimes when the parents quarrel, the frustrated one releases pent-up feelings by whipping the children. This is very wrong.

Above all, let godly parents pray for their children. Pray that they will be saved. Pray that they will overcome evil, etc.

IV God-fearing Children: Ex. 20:12, "Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land".

Isaac was exemplary in Gen. 22, by carrying the wood without murmuring.

Samuel was most exemplary with instant obedience, even in the middle of the night.

Jesus, Himself, as a child, was obedient to his parents, Luke 2:51.

Conclusion: The secret of a successful Christian Home, is the family altar, where Christ is crowned as Head of that home. Love, is the second secret.

There are not many Christian homes these days, but they are still beautiful and are still the only way a home can truly be happy. They are attainable, for God will still help every member of the family to be what He wants them to be, if they will only ask His help and trust Him and obey Him. If you will follow God's plan, and set forth above, your own home can become a Christian home which will bring joy to the hearts of every family member. Believe God, trust Him and obey Him, and you will see that He is true to His word.

What happens when the house is out of order? There is much chaos for the child and the child gets hit with confusion. When a house is out of order, it opens the door for the enemy to bring destruction to the children such as learning disabilities of all types, gender confusion, etc.

If you study about gender confusion, most of the time the wife wore the paints in the family or was forced too because the husband was passive. Other reasons is generational that can cause this problem.

Viewing God's Forgiveness as Incomplete

Viewing God's forgiveness as incomplete or conditional results in our:

• believing God is angry with us and holding you sins against you;

• viewing ourselves as being on parole instead of fully pardoned;

• feeling emotional guilt and fearing punishment, which creates the distance in our relationship with God; and

• continually asking God for forgiveness but never experiencing the peace His total forgiveness brings.

Don't use blogger

Don't use blogger because many times they shut you down and accuse you of spamming when you don't. If you want a good blog, use wordpress, they don't do that kind of thing.

Blogger has blocked six of my sights saying I have spammed and I never send out emails to people in regards to my blogger. They find me and if they like my content and send a link to their friends, there is nothing I can do about that.

Blogger is unfair and don't be surprise if I move all my content to Wordpress.

A Living Stone

Paul tells us in Ephesians 5:22–25 that Y’shua [Jesus] is the Bridegroom and we are the

Bride of Messiah. The Bride has a dress that is without a spot or wrinkle – this dress is

made up of each “Living Stone” that forms the Bride of Messiah. Your End-time purpose is

to ensure that your marriage – ONE Living Stone – truly represents the calling …

• Of a special treasure,

• A royal priesthood and,

• A holy nation.

Retaking the Garden.

Mankind was given a mandate to “rule” the earth. Rulership, from a world system, means

that some are “bosses” and the rest are laborers … or even slaves.

We are called to be “set apart”. Your marriage must therefore look, sound, feel, different to

those in the world. We both therefore have to commit to the task of:

• Dressing the Garden and,

• Keeping the Garden.

The moment we have both of these two elements in action at the same time, we start to

retake the Garden of Eden.

What does it mean to “dress”?

• To work in any sense,

• To serve and become a servant,

• To be a worshipper.

To dress the garden of your marriage means that you will be 100% committed to serve as

an act of worshipping God at the time, irrespective of the circumstances!

What does it mean to “keep”?

• To build a fence or a hedge, as with thorns,

• To protect,

• To narrowly observe, and be a watchmen.

To keep the garden of your marriage means that you will always be alert to:

• Strategies from the kingdom of darkness.

• Attractions from the world system.

• The serpent – in whatever form he materializes – when he comes to ask … “did

God say?”

We need to clarify.

Men, due to their physical strength and abilities, need to focus on:

• Providing,

• Protecting,

• And so forth.

Women, due to their strengths and abilities to nurture, need to focus on:

• Nurturing,

• Mothering,

• And so forth.

What we speak of here is the joint responsibility of both partners who labor to present the

union of ONE Living Stone, radiant and pure before the Lord. Often we find the symbolism

of the Shepherd that looks after sheep. As a union of two like-minded people, we too are

ONE shepherd …

• Looking after the integrity and purity of the marriage.

• Looking after the “harvest” of the union (sons and daughters).

• Looking after the “seed” ensuring that it still reflects the attributes of the Kingdom of

God.

As ONE shepherd – both husband and wife – need to be equipped to handle every

circumstance. How do we do this? Every shepherd needs the following equipment:

1. We carry a staff.

The staff represents our ability/willingness to:

• Pull others out of trouble spots.

• Guide others along a path of righteousness.

• To be a beacon of direction in a fast changing world.

• Show compassion to those who are weaker.

2. We carry a stick.

The stick is a stout piece of timber to be used to ward off any attack from dangerous

animals. In the spiritual realm this is represented by:

• The unconditional love that I give to my spouse and children and the ever-open

hands to welcome the lost back into the fold.

• The security that I make around the family by the manner in which each challenge

is dealt with.

• The shalom [peace] that I bring as I make sure that others always see themselves

as more important than “things”.

3. We carry a sling.

The sling was used to take up a position of battle and meant that oncoming “warfare” could

be stopped in its tracks. In the spiritual realm of the marriage this is represented by:

• The manner in which I go about doing spiritual warfare on behalf of the family.

• The petitions and intercession prayer sessions that are done in order to guide and

defend the family.

4. We carry a pouch.

The shepherd uses the pouch to keep life-giving food or medicines and herbs in so that

the sheep will always be strong. In the marriage this is represented by:

• How we wash each other with the Water of the Word.

• How we fast for specific needs.

• How we empower each other to reach for the realization of the dreams that God

has given us.

The groom enters with both parents and comes to stand before the chuppah. His father

blesses him, and the groom moves under the chuppah.

The bride then enters with both parents. Her father and mother speak a blessing.

Genesis 24:60 “60 And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, You are our sister; may

you become the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let your posterity possess the

gate of their enemies (those who hate them).”

Just after the parents have blessed the bride, she turns towards the chuppah. The

bridegroom steps out from under the chuppah and lifts the veil to check if it’s his bride. He

makes sure that he is not getting the wrong sister like Jacob!

The bride will give a tallit to her bridegroom. The tallit has thirty-two strings. In the

Hebrew alphabet, the Hebrew word for “heart” also equals thirty-two. The tallit represents

protection against outside sexual temptation:

Numbers 15:39 “They shall be tassels for you, and you shall look at them and not be

tempted after your hearts and after your eyes.”

So what the bride is saying is … “I will cover your heart.”

The chuppah – which can be made from a tallit – is the covering under which a couple

stand for the marriage ceremony. This chuppah, which today is represented by a prayer

shawl, reflects the Glory of God.

Isaiah 4:5 “5 And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every dwelling place of

Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a

flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy (a defence of divine love and

protection).“

Isaiah 43:7 “7 Even everyone who is called by My Name, whom I have created for My

glory, whom I have formed, whom I have made.”

The chuppah is a declaration of the intent of the couple. Firstly, the chuppah has four

poles. These are held up by four men of integrity and value. Four friends of the couple who

have made the commitment to stand with and for them. Secondly, the chuppah represents

their home. It has open sides all the way around – signifying that they are transparent, that

their home is open for all, that they are humble and that their home is open for God to

come in and dwell.

Consecration of %eir lov$

The lightning of the three candles is to symbolize:

• Firstly, it indicates that we have the Light of Y’shua [Jesus] in our lives and we are

prepared to witness to that.

• Secondly, we also indicate to the congregation that two family bloodlines are joining

to create ONE new bloodline.

• Thirdly, we show the world that we are not a separate couple on our own but that

we are part of a family, a community.

Lighting of three candles is performed by:

• The bridegroom and his family light one candle,

• The bride and her family light another candle,

• And the final – middle – candle is lit by both the bridegroom and bride.

Before the witnesses, the bridegroom will share a cup of the covenant with his bride as he

asks her to marry him, just as Y’shua [Jesus] did in Luke 22:20, where He answered on

the promise of Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Hebrews 8:8-10. The bridegroom drinks and gives

the cup to his bride, and then to his whole family. The significance of the whole family is

that the couple recognizes and honors the family as a community. When the bride drinks of

the cup, she shows that she has accepted the proposal.

Typically the “pastor” or rabbi will speak or perhaps give a sermon. After this the bride will

encircle her bridegroom seven times. This custom symbolizes:

• The seven days of creation,

• The home the couple will create together,

• The wall of protection the bride will create around her groom.

The bride will then put the ring on the forefinger of her right hand. She will show the

witnesses. This is a remembrance of Moses blessing to the people:

Deuteronomy 33:2-3 “2 He said, The Lord came from Sinai and beamed upon us from

Seir; He flashed forth from Mount Paran, from among ten thousands of holy ones, a

flaming fire, a law, at His right hand. 3 Yes, He loves [the tribes] His people; all those

consecrated to Him are in Your hand. They followed in Your steps; they [accepted Your

word and] received direction from You,”

The bridegroom will give something [typically a ring] of great value, just as Y’shua [Jesus]

gave us great value.

John 14:13 “13 And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as

presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the

Son.”

Points to remember regarding the rings:

• The ring must belong to the groom.

• It changes status of the bride. It also gives her authority, as in the same way as

Pharaoh gave his ring to Joseph.

• It is a milestone and memorial at all times – even the bad times – a symbol of

remembrance.

• Has no beginning and no end, and therefore represents the couple’s faith.

• Represent the union – the creative force – to extend God’s Commandment.

• Space inside is holy – sanctified.

Blessing over the rings:

“These rings will be a sign of their love and commitment which they make today and may

their marriage reflect God’s Message of the Bride of Messiah.”

Legal agreement.

The “pastor” or rabbi will ask the traditional questions – “do you take … ” The groom will

take the veil off from his bride, they will exchange rings, and then end the ceremony with a

kiss.

!e mar"a& contract … ' ketubah!

The ketubah – the written declaration of the groom’s intention to protect and care for his

bride – is read aloud in the presence of all the witnesses. The ketubah should be the

words of the groom’s heart, and should be a “special” marriage document for the bride to

keep and even frame.

Exodus 24:7 “7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the

people; and they said, All that the Lord has said we will do, and we will be obedient.”

This is equivalent to Moses and the people who keep the Word of God, physically and

spiritually.

Seven people of significance to the couple then speak words of blessing over the newly

married couple. This is to declare their purpose and destiny, and to proclaim blessings

over the couple. These prayers are an example of the principle to be prayed. Each one of

the seven friends or family members who steps up to pray should speak from their heart

and declare the Word.

1. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who has created everything for His

Glory. I pray that ____________ and _____________ will be blessed with humility,

gratitude and the Wisdom of God.

2. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who created humankind, Who

created _____________ and _____________ and Who blessed them with the Holy

Spirit and the gift of creativity to meet their purpose and destiny.

3. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who fashioned ______________

and ______________ in His Image and after His Own Likeness He created them

and prepared for Him, out of His Very Self, an Eternal Soul through Y’shua [Jesus],

and yet remembered the uniqueness of each one of them.

4. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who brings intense joy and

exultation to the mothers through the ingathering of their children. I pray that You

will bless _________________ and _____________ with fertility. Blessed are You,

our God, Who gladdens parents through their children.

5. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who makes these beloved

companions, _______________ and ________________, to greatly rejoice, as You

gladden Your creatures in the Garden of Eden. Blessed are You, our God, Who

gladdens the groom and bride, we pray that their love will hold and support them.

6. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who created joy and gladness,

groom and bride, mirth, happy songs, pleasure, delight, love, brotherhood, shalom

[peace] and companionship. May _____________ and _____________ be blessed

with these in abundance. I pray that the voice of gladness and joy will soon be

heard in every city and in Jerusalem when the voice of the Groom and Bride will

proclaim your complete salvation through Y’shua [Jesus] the Messiah.

7. Blessed are You, our God, King of the Universe, Who created the fruit of the vine. I

pray that Your Hand of provision will be extended to them and that the fruit thereof

will be blessed.

Rededication of your marriage

1. Read to each other the ketubah you have written.

2. Make a prophetic declaration of God’s Word. Bless each other from God’s Word …

and make your End-Time declaration.

At the marriage ceremony at Mount Sinai, God tells us:

• He has delivered us, taken us out of Egypt [the world], and has carried us out on

eagle’s wings.

Exodus 19:4 “4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on

eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.”

God says “if we obey” – are committed to the covenantal marriage – then …

Exodus 19:5 “5 Now therefore, if you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant,

then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all

peoples; for all the earth is Mine.”

We reply and say “I do”.

Exodus 19:8 “8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord has

spoken we will do. And Moses reported the words of the people to the Lord.”

After this, God says …

“You will become … ”

Genesis 19:5-6 “ … 5 Now therefore, if you will obey My voice in truth and keep My

covenant, then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and

above all peoples; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests,

a holy nation [consecrated, set apart to the worship of God]. These are the words you shall

speak to the Israelites.”

We choose to declare God’s Words of End-Time Purpose.

You have rededicated your marriage today – you have made God the Senior Partner in

this covenant.

You have declared “we will do and we will hear” – sh’ma – listen, understand, and

implement.

God says:

1. You are a segullah, a particular treasure, a wealthy jewel.

Strong’s 5459: segullah (688c); from an unused word; possession, property:— possession(5),

treasure(2), treasured possession(1).

We can say that you will be valuable diamond – a stone that has been formed in the heat

of tribulations, but you are protected from the system of this world.

As ONE Living Stone [marriage], you will reflect this as you journey in step to God’s Song

of Cycles, Seasons, and Feasts.

2. You are a kingdom of priests.

Strong’s 4428: melek (572d); from an unused word; king:— King(253), king(1730), King’s(6),

king’s(241), kingdom(1), Kings(41), kings(241), kings’(2), royal(5).

• You have dominion,

• You reign as kings,

• You are the principle officers.

The Ten Virgins

“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused (betrothed) you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:2)

We serve a jeolous God because He loves us and we are the work of His creation.

Time is short and this is not the time to be playing with sin. Sin will separate you from the father but the father, king of the universe, sent his son so that we have access to the father through Jesus Christ through repentance of our sin.

When you look at the story of the ten virgins, they were jewish women or could be women of today. Five were ready and five were not. They loved the Lord but why did only five (5) make it? First, the ten virgins were all “members of the Church”.

Doesn't a bride prepare for her wedding? Yes.

Are we all the bride of Christ? Yes

If we are the bride of Christ what are you doing to prepare yourself for the bridegroom? He is coming soon but you don't know when.

How does a child of God prepare for the bridegroom spiritually? By spending time with the Lord and not be caught up with the ways of the world. He says he has many mansions prepared.

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2D3)

Matthew 25:1–4, 8–12

1. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

How do we prepare for the Savior’s Second Coming?

In these last days, the Lord has said, “Be faithful, praying always, having your lamps trimmed and burning, and oil with you, that you may be ready at the coming of the Bridegroom” (D&C 33:17).
Fasting, family prayer, home teaching, control of bodily appetites, preaching the gospel, studying the scriptures—each act of dedication and obedience is a drop added to our store.

Why were the foolish maidens turned away after the door was shut?

First, lets look at the oil.

Olives are first soaked in water to clean them and purge them of their bitterness, and then they are crushed to extract their oil. Olive oil, produced throughout the Mediterranean region, had multiple uses anciently: food, cooking oil, condiment, treatment for wounds, ingredient in cosmetics and soaps, and fuel for lamps.

The oil in the parable represents our faith and testimony, our purity and dedication, our good works, and our keeping of covenants—all of the ways in which we have “taken the Holy Spirit for our guide”

The wise virgins could not share their oil with the foolish virgins because the oil of spiritual preparedness cannot be shared.

Lets put it another way.

When you are married to your husband, you have intimacy. You come together as woman and man and pruduce in the nature the fruit of intimacy - a child.

Believers need to learn to become intimate with the Lord to know Him and be woed by Him. When you are intimate with the Lord, the Lord shares you secrets to you, He gives you revelation of His word and prepares your heart and mind for the tribution and suffering the church must go through to be prepared for the bridegroom.

Yes, tribution. Something that is not taught in the church today. All believers have to go through suffering to be tested and to produce fruit.

John 15:2. There we read: "Every branch of mine that bears no fruit He takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit."

He wants a bride that produces much fruit. Times are hard and the only way to survive this time is not to be caught up with Washington or world events - meaning not be overly concerned. We need to be caught up with our spiritual goverment.

Think of it this way.

The king needs people and land. Israel has land and has people who have returned over 2000 years and now waiting for the king to rule and raign on earth.

But, He needs a bride who is prepared. Otherwise, if you are not prepared, the things of the world.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

“Then Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?’” (Luke 12:22-26, NIV). (Also see Matthew 6:25-34)

The two scriptures above talks about prayer and petitions but not to worry that He will take care of His Bride.

My question to you -- Are you ready. Are you preparing and filling your lamp with oil through prayer, fasting and intimacy with the Lord to be prepared and strengthened and not blown away by the storms of life.

Reasons for Drought

Have you noticed the entire state of Texas is under a drought and not only that but most of Texas is under extreme drought conditions. You can blame it on climate change but who controls and created all the world. Not only that many other states are effected by the lack of rain and higher temperatures. Lets look to what God's word has to say about droughts.

Why the drought

The Bible records the reason why drought comes on a nation or states, and it also records God's instruction for dealing with the situation. "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. " (2 Chronicles 7:13-14 New International Version

Maybe it is time to take the time and pray for Texas, our nation, our president for our sins and our wicked ways. The people in our nation are complacent. Could it be we are a people who have turned our backs on God? How about into Yoga which is a religious practice.

Are we headed for a famine in our land or are we a spiritually famine country?

Maybe it is both.

Famine and Drought as the Judgment of God God created the world as a good environment which would normally provide ample water and food for mankind (Genesis 1:1). However, the productiveness of the earth is related to people's obedience to God. When there is a people who disobeyed, judgment came on the land by drought and famine (Leviticus 26:23-26; Deuteronomy 11:16-17; 1 Kings 8:35).

Are these signs of the end time?

It could be! Look at our economic situation in our land. Look what took place on tv where the republicans and the democrates could not come into agreement. We are in debt to our ears and they want to raise the debt ceiling to guarantee paying debt for a little bit longer. How is that going to solve it and what will be the outcome the next time our country runs out of money!

Can the United States continue to spend the people's money to continue to pay out handouts? Could that be our sin that United States is careless and spenders of money to create such a debt crises?

What is the purpose of judgment?

When God did send drought and famine on His people, it was for the purpose of bringing them to repentance (1 Kings 8:35-36; Hosea 2:8-23; Amos 4:6-8). Moreover, the Old Testament contains promises that God will protect His faithful ones in times of famine (Job 5:20,Job 5:22; Psalms 33:18-19; Psalms 37:18-19; Proverbs 10:3). Amen that the Lord does protect the faithful ones.

God's promise when a people repent.

And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Isaiah 58:11.

Have enemies or adversities that seem big? Numbers 13, verses 27-28:

And they told him, and said, We came unto the land where you sent us; and surely it flows with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
28 However the people that dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified, [and] very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
29 Amalek dwelleth in the land of the South: and the Hittite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, dwell in the hill-country; and the Canaanite dwelleth by the sea, and along by the side of the Jordan.
Moses sent 12 spies into Canaan to check out the land and report back. 10 saw adversity except for two, Joshua and Caleb, had a different perspective, as we see in verse 30:

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

verses 31-33:

But the men that went up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Did the 10 spies see themselves as grasshoppers compared to the Canaanites?

Did the Canaanites see the Israelites as grasshoppers?

So why didn't Joshua and Caleb agree with the conclusion of the other men?

What was the real issue?

The real issue was the faithfulness of God. God had been making extravagant promises to Abraham and his descendants.

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great

Why did Caleb and Joshua give a different report? What did they see?

God's promises had been consistently trustworthy: the land was good, and it was cultivated, and there were people already living there. God had previously said all those things. God had also said that HIS power would conquer the Canaanites. Caleb & Joshua saw God's promises and believed them.

Let's continue: Numbers 14, verses 6-9:

But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; 7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: "The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, 'a land which flows with milk and honey.' Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them."

Conclusion: God's enemies may look tough initially, but they'll melt away if we move in faith in obedience to the Lord. Just like adversity in life. What promises has God given you that you can stand regardless of your adversity?

Isaiah 17:17 Damacus will become a ruinous heap

God controls the heavens. In fact, the Bible says that He rides upon the heavens (Psalm 68:4). There can be no doubt that the above is somehow prophetic in nature. It comes at about the same time and is confluent with the following:

Israel is the key to prophecy and Gods time line of history Iran getting a nuclear weapon, within weeks, with which it wants to destroy Israel and America. That showdown may be just days away.

Hezbollah taking control in Lebanon, increasing the threat on Israels northern border, with many missiles in place, probably WMDs, ready to be fired at Israeli civilians.

Syrias instability, also with many missiles in place ready to be fired at Israel. Some of Syrias missiles are hidden in Damascus residential neighborhoods, which will cause Israel to have to destroy those neighborhoods, fulfilling Isaiah 17:1, which says that Damascus will become a ruinous heap, an apt description of a nuclear aftermath. That prophecy has never yet been fulfilled, but it will probably be soon.

America turning against Israel with its Muslim-favoring President Hussein Obama (aka Barry Soetero).

Political turmoil and instability in America as the truth of Obamas legal ineligibility to be President and fraud are admitted and dealt with. I suspect Obama and the left will not give in without a fight and that he will declare martial law and suspend the Constitution in order to hold office.

The left does not care for the Constitution anyhow.

Near financial collapse of America and the West, imminent some experts believe.

God says, In the last days perilous times will come. God also says, I will show wonders in the heavens (Joel 2:30). Those times are here. It is happening. But there is nothing to worry about if you have received Christ and trust Him as Lord and Savior. He will surely deliver you, as He promises, and He cannot lie.

Personally, I believe the removal of Gods people from the earth (called the rapture) is imminent.

Heated Conversations

Have you ever been angry with someone and felt that you had to correct them or get your point across?

Many times when people are mad, they use the word "You" and "You" becomes offensive or accusational to the other person causing them to go into defense because the one angry feels they have to fix the other person or blame to correct them. It is a form of control. Avoid blaming so try not to blame others before you know the facts.

When in communication with someone regards to differences, feelings, etc. it is better to begin with What are better than questions beginning with Why to avoid defensive responses. While I agree with some points, I believe this argument neglects the more important word: You

The word you in each of those questions that carries the accusatory tone, not the why. The word you commands attention and can put the other person on the defensive.

Not only that it is talking down to the person and not showing respect. People who blame others tend to overemphasize themselves while at the same time underemphasizing the negative effects of their actions .

In relaionships, manipulation can be defined as: any attempt to control, through coercion (overt or covert), another person's thoughts, feeligs or behaviors.

Manipulation is usually attemtped using power, unsolicited helping, rescuing, guilt, weakness, and/or dependence, in order o achieve a desired outcome.

Boundaries are statements about our values and where we stand on issues. True boundaries are not threats or about getting the other person to do what we want through guilt, shame, power.

Fear Not, Nor Be Dismayed

2 Chron. 20:15-17 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

To morrow go ye down against them: behond, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook before the wilderness of Jeruel.

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you."

A time of distress for Israel when her enemies, Ammon and Moab stood up against Israel encamped in En-gedi. He became afraid and set himself to seek the Lord, proclaiming a fast and a general convocation throughout all Judah.

A lesson to learn to turn to the Lord when you have adversaries coming against you or speaking against you either in the work place or any other places.

King Jehoshaphat exhorts Judah to have faith in God.

What does he do next to deal with fear?

1. Fast
2. Prayer
3. Praise and Worship

What did he do next? To pray

The prayer was:

1. You are the God of our fathers
2. You are the God of heaven
3. You rule over all the kingdoms of the heathens
4. You have all power and might
5. None is able to withstand You
6. You are our God
7. You drove the Canaanites out before Israel
8. You gave their land to the seed of Your eternal friend, Abraham
9. They have dwelled there
10. They have built You a sanctuary for Your name
11. They have told us that when we are in trouble to stand before this house, in Your presence, crying to You in our affliction, You will hear and help.
12. And now, the Ammonites, Moabites, and Edomites are come to cast us out of our possession (your boss, evil people, evil family, evil workers, evil co-workers, evil friends)
13. You will not judge them
14. We have no might against such a company (3 companies - Moab, Ammon and Edomites)
15. We do not know what to do
16. Our eyes are upon You. It is getting our eyes off the situation but onto Christ with blind trust that He will see you through your situation (job, finances, children, bills, etc.)

Jehosphaphat believed the Lord and bowed his head to the ground, and all Judah fell before the Lord in worship. They worshipped his character, the promise and deliverance.

We can put our trust in the Lord. He cares for us and cares about every detail for our lives. When we get our eyes off of the circumstances onto Him, it releases the Lord to move mightely. The Lord sent confusion in the camp.

Vs. 20-21 "And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe int he Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had sonsulted with the people, he appointed Singers unto the LORD, and that should Praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army,a nd to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever."

The appointment of singers to lead the army into battle must have been in divine will, for as soon as they began to sing and praise God, God sent ambushes against the Moabites, Ammonites and Edomites and they were smitten. God must have sent angels and the enemy became confused and they began to destroy each other. This is a miraculous happening that, I'm sure, will take place at the battle of Armageddon.

vs. 22 And when they begain to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Sear, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

The Lesson in this story is trust God, get your eyes off the situation, praise God in your situation. What I mean praise, praise like the victory has already taken place with confidence and with faith.

In general the person infested by these demons will age normally on the outside but be immature on the inside. Arrested development spirits claim to be sent by Satan personally. The demon stops progress past age 13 and brings the victim to any age it wants from zero to 13. The effects are devastating. At age 13 a person's too young to work and can't hold a job. The victim is unable to deal with the problems of an adult, becomes a job hopper and unreliable.

Fear of Man brings a snare

Behind Fear of Man is a Spirit of Fear of Rejection

Did you know fear of man robs your destiny? Why, because that fear of man is really a need for acceptance and that person will do anything to find acceptance by avoiding confrontation or not having your own voice or opinion to keep peace at all cost.

God has a calling on your life! Are you going to let the enemy rob you? Did you know if man does reject your opinion, that it is not the end of the world?

that Spirit of Fear keeps you from walking in your gifts that were naturally and supernaturally In you. When you realize you are in bondage, you realize you could have done more for the Lord.

Peter walked with Jesus all that time, seeing miracle after miracle and yet at the end he denied Christ. He had fear of man that caused him to deny Christ. Later he went on to do Great things. Doing what God calls us too does not necessarily mean its a Full Time Ministry position.

•Have you lost a child? Possibly death- miscarriage, disease, adoption, abortion.
•Have you lost a parent or spouse? In death, divorce.
•Have you lost a home and belongings? Due to death, divorce, unemployment, catastrophic weather?
•Have you lost the ability to work and disabled for a season? Due to disease or an accident?

These are just a few example of things that we all experience in one way or another. If you have overcome with God in victory to peace and joy in Christ- there is someone waiting to hear how do you do this?

How do you survive and want to live another day. How can they be healed?

So when you study Fear, Stress and Physiology and learn how Fear and Trauma robs you of so very much of His Joy in this life! You get excited at Knowing that God is waiting for the Truth in His word, to override what the enemy has meant for evil! That you can now walk in complete wholeness- His Peace. (nothing missing, nothing broken) That is the Good News! Selah

Overcome fear of man

Overcome fear of rejection

Don't follow fickle things, follow God

Webster's Dictionary defines "fickle" as "Not fixed or firm; liable to change; unstable." Your emotions and how you feel are unstable and liable to change. So, if you follow your feelings, then your life, your choices, and your actions will sway like a tree in strong wind.

Because your feelings can be unstable, it is important not to follow them exclusively. For example, there will probably be some days when you don't feel like being nice to your spouse. If you follow your feelings and act impulsively, then your marriage will have problems. Because feelings are unstable and unpredictable, someone who lives based on their feelings will also be unstable and unpredictable.

Indeed, James 1:8 says that someone who follows his feelings "is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does."

Instead of following our feelings, we need to follow God, for He is the only source of true stability. We need to take the same attitude as an old hymn, which says, "On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand."

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus says, "Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

That "rock" is God's Word. If we want to live solid, stable lives, they must be built on the rock—God, himself. As most of you know Tommy and I were in a serious car accident this past Sunday. Our nice "paid for" vehicle was totalled. We have some injuries, but not as severe as what the experts thought we would after seeing the car! We are so grateful and are leaning on God, not what our emotions and feelings might try to throw at us during this time.

I was not driving, but it was a blind-sighted hit. Neither of us had a clue it coming. The good in that of course is that we were not all tensed up. The bad thing was it through us both into great Shock! The car spun a bit and we just never saw it coming. Today was the first day for me to drive. Tommy was using my vehicle to go to work, until we are get arrangements for a rental. So as I drove today, I felt the adrenals and the "fight to Flight" effect try to come upon me. Every car was driving by TOO fast! That is how it felt. But I stopped and said No Enemy! NO Spirit of Fear, you will not reside in this house of the Lord! I spoke the word outloud and continued to drive for a bit longer until I was able to "Take My Peace back." My land that which the enemy was trying to take back from me. I am grateful to the Lord for protecting us from what could have been a GREAT tragedy! Grateful for a praying husband as we withstood the winds and schemes of the enemy that tried to rob us of life, together.

Transformation vs. Sanctification

What is the big deal with Transformation? Are words changing their meaning slightly?

The Greek word for "sanctification" used in the New Testament also means "holiness."(1) The verb "to sanctify" means "to make holy."(2) When God sanctifies believers, He does not only set them apart for a holy use, He makes them holy. Obviously believers cannot be set apart for holy uses unless they are first made holy people. Jesus was "sanctified and sent into the world" (John 10:36)(3) in the sense that, because He was perfectly holy, He could be set apart for a special holy work, the work of saving the world from sin. When Jesus prayed, "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth" (John 17:17), He was asking that His followers should be made holy and, therefore, be useful for the holy work for which He had chosen them. First He made them holy, and then He "sent them into the world" (verse 18).

The Biblical Meaning of Transformation

The true meaning of Transformation is The Greek word for biblical "transformation" is metamorphoo, from which we get the English word metamorphosis: i.e., a complete change, such as a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Biblical transformation, then, applies to an individual believer's progress in sanctification. In Romans 12:2 we are being transformed by the renewing of your mind. How, through his word! His word is alive and washing our mind.

What's the big deal? When we renew our minds, we are transforming our minds to the mind of Christ ( 1 Cor. 2:16).

The new meanings for the word "transformation" entered the modern lexicon in the early 1980s. New Age author Marilyn Ferguson, who is credited with launching the "coming out party" for Luciferian Theosophists, extensively used the term. She defined it as "transformation of consciousness," "a new seeing," "conscious evolution," and a "paradigm change." Transformation was an essential part of the Teilhardian leap from "individual evolution" to "collective evolution."3 Christian discernment author Constance Cumbey bluntly remarked that Ferguson's type of "transformation" was "a euphemism for progressively deeper levels of demonic influence and has now infiltrate the church using the word transformation."

Has the Biblical Meaning "Transformation" Be Different in Some Aspects in The Church Today?

The church mean today is “Transformation” is the end-goal of a process that moves from TRADITION through TRANSITION to TRANSFORMATION. This is sometimes called a “Paradigm Shift,” which means that Transformation shifts one’s worldview (paradigm) from the old to a new. This is a dialectically unfolding PROCESS in which the THESIS is continually challenged by ANTITHESIS, evolving into ever-unfolding SYNTHESES. Transformation is engineered, orchestrated and/or manipulated. Transformation involves changing over a person’s values, opinions, beliefs, attitudes, and even their behaviors to that of the new paradigm/worldview.

There is currently a bait and switch going on in neo-evangelical circles. When evangelicals hear the word “transformation” bandied about, they assume it is a biblical word from Romans 12:2: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." In fact, the traditional meaning of the word can be found in Matthew Poole’s Commentary from the 1600s, which exhorts: “Be you regenerated, and changed in your whole man; beginning at the mind, by which the Spirit of God worketh upon the inferior faculties of the soul….”5 Matthew Henry’s Commentary further expounds, “The progress of sanctification, dying to sin more and more, and living to righteousness more and more.”

When evangelicals hear the phrase “church transformation” they may think of the paradigm shift in liturgy, worship styles, music, mega-churches, etc. In reality, “transformation” is substantial and deep, intent on re-forging the very foundations of Protestantism, western civilization, and ultimately the governance of the entire earth. While lip service is being paid to the traditional definitions you read about above, in reality the word “transformation” now indicates a societal, cultural and global revolution. Here is one new definition which hints at the larger scale:

"Transformation--the measurable supernatural impact of the presence and power of God on human society, sacred and secular. In the church, this is characterized by increased holiness of life, accelerated conversion growth, reconciliation in relationships, mobilization of gifts and callings, and an increased relevance to and participation in greater society. In the culture, this may be characterized by pervasive awareness of the reality of God, a radical correction of social ills, a commensurate decrease in crime rates (evidence of authentic biblical justice, as described in Isaiah 58), supernatural blessing on local commerce, healing of the brokenhearted (the alienated and disenfranchised), and an exporting of kingdom righteousness. To this end, a catalytic core of saints typically embrace a lifestyle of persistent repentance, humility, prayer and sacrificial servanthood that attracts the favor and presence of God, and breaks the predominating influences of the ruling power structures of human flesh and the devil."

If this new definition of “transformation” sounds complex and obscure, it is. Unless you have been steeped in neo-evangelical doctrines, this will sound like mish-mash. To aid the reader, below is a nutshell synopsis of the new doctrines of “transformation.”

1. The term “transformation” is used to describe a planned, intentional “Second Reformation” (also called “New Apostolic Reformation”). An early proposal for a “second Protestant reformation” appeared in The Emerging Order (1979) by New Ager Jeremy Rifkin, who called for a re-definition of Genesis 1 to create a stewardship mandate for a dominion over the earth.8 Rick Warren, of purpose-driven fame, positively referenced Rifkin’s proposal for this new Reformation.9 Just this year was launched what he calls the “Second Reformation.”10 Other evangelical leaders calling for this new reformation…. (Names left out purposely).

2) This “transformation” is not personal but is applied corporately to groups and entities. One example is: “Social transformation was defined as seeking positive change in the whole of human life materially, socially and spiritually, by recovering our true identity as human beings created in the image of God and discovering our true vocation as productive stewards, faithfully caring for our world and its people.”

3) This “transformation” is to be accomplished by a “mission” strategy of doing “whatever it takes” to launch political, social, and cultural reforms on a global scale. A philosophy of “the end justifies the means” has been embraced to accomplish these colossal goals.

4) Extremely sophisticated psycho-social marketing techniques are employed to facilitate this “transformation.”

5) State-of-the-art statistical measurement and assessment methods evaluate this “transformation,” judging “effectiveness” by pre-set, man-made criteria.

6) A plethora of intricate spiritual activities with new names, new techniques, new methodologies, and new doctrines purportedly cause “transformation” to take place in the heavenlies and then on earth.16 These include strategic-level spiritual warfare, identificational repentance, prayer evangelism, on-site praying, spiritual mapping, prayer walks, labyrinths, spiritual formation, and a host of other newly-concocted doctrines with corresponding activities. (The reader is challenged to find any of these in the Bible.)

7) A re-alignment of church hierarchical structures, not unlike network marketing, is said to be essential for “transformation” to take place.

8) These new authority and accountability structures must be superimposed between believers and God. The model is touted as a return to the early New Testament model, in which churches met in homes. In reality it is a data-driven model with a top-down hierarchy of authority and control. It is variously called cell church, G12, shepherding, House2House, etc.

9) This “transformation” dialectically thrives on a diet of constant change which is accelerating rapidly.19 Continuous change in the church is pointed to as “revival,” despite the fact that it utilizes business marketing methods such as Total Quality Management.

10) The claim is made that submitting to and participating in this radical and comprehensive “transformation” is necessary to fulfill the Great Commission. Thus “transformation” has been inextricably linked to the modern missions movement.

11) This “transformation” is said to be incomplete until the Bride of Christ is perfected on earth and “God’s kingdom is seen on earth as it is in heaven.”

12) Therefore, believers are told they are co-creators and co-redeemers, renewing the earth through their various “transformative” activities.

Neo-evangelical “transformation” doctrines integrate Theosophy with Christianity for a hybrid new orthodoxy, sometimes termed the “emergent” church. Therefore, this “transformation” is fertile ground for all new forms of ecumenism, easily finding common ground with both cults and the occult. Popular neo-evangelical leader Leonard Sweet laid out this broader concept of transformational ecumenism in his 1991 book Quantum Spirituality

Why we end up in Egypt

1. Belief in a person, place or thing that gives you false assurance- the Hebrews originally went to Egypt because there was food there, and Joseph was still assistant to Pharaoh. Joseph was the key to their security. However, when Joseph died, and was long forgotten, they should have left, but they were too comfortable in this world they were in.

Sometimes, we end up somewhere for good reasons. A good job for example. But if circumstances change – a new boss, or new job policies, staff changes, this may not be the same as the original friendly setting you were originally in. If so, it is time to get out, or get hurt. This reminds me of the horrible suffering of the Jews in Germany. Early on, they should have left. Many did. Then, when things became worse, they were trapped, and could not get out.

Having to uproot oneself and leave somewhere, or a situation, is a hardship in itself, so wanting to stay is understandable. We must all develop proper insight into what our future will be in a situation, and plan to abandon ship and trust God to help us, if it looks negative. This applies to different situations – job, relationships, where you live, etc. For example, if a certain area has dangerous weather that you cannot handle, then it is wise to leave. Or, if someone who used to be friendly is turning against you, and becoming abusive, understand this and respond properly.

2. Sin in our lives. The history of Israel is a tragic one of people who repeatedly sinned, and ended up in bondage or under attack by their enemies. It their case, either the Babylonians or the Assyrians showed up. Sometimes, others did too. When unrepentant sin is present, God is not obligated to protect you, since you are out of covenant with Him.

What is the Promised Land like?

Yes, it has “milk and honey,” but it is also a time of spiritual maturity. One is no longer handed everything as a babe. One has to fight for it. Jesus indicated that the word of God is a “sword,” and demonstrated that there was evil in the world that had to be conquered with this sword.

Every soldier fights for his cause, and takes the chance that he will be hurt in battle. You will be beaten and bruised at times, or many times. You will have wounds in you, or on you. You may not win every battle, but your Commander has indicated that the war will be won. You are just supposed to be faithful in the “good fight of faith.” You are to be a good servant, and fight according to His rules, not according to the ways of the world.

It will look many times like you have lost in the physical, but in the heavenlies, you have won. You may be an outcast, and labeled a loser. You may be physically hurt. Everything you have worked for in a lifetime may be lost. Your reputation may be gone. Your physical body may have broken down under the stress. How is this victory?

We do not measure victory in the kingdom of God by physical standards. We measure it by satisfying God’s will on this earth. He measures success in repentant souls, and born again souls for the kingdom of God.

If we have lost a job fighting something that is evil, then before or after we leave, God will work some changes in that environment. We may or may not see what happened, but God is in control. Somehow, our finances will be adequate for what is needed. If we have lost a loved one to a bad situation, then somewhere in the loss, a change has occurred that we may not know about until later. It is possible that the grief over the loved one will bring another back to God. We need to keep our hearts strong, and our eyes on God, not man. Man will condemn us, but the Lord is the “glory and lifter of our heads.”

If you have repented of your sins, and turned back to God’s covenant, accepting his grace and forgiveness, and you are actively trying to do His will, then you are NOT in Egypt. You are in the land of the giants. There are giants (enemies and challenges) in the Promised Land.

Dealing with the giants in our personal world

There were no giants in Egypt. This was not necessary, since people put themselves into bondage.

Giants can be two types:

1. Unbelievers who oppose every move you make. They are driven by worldly competitiveness, selfishness, and possibly jealousy. Sometimes, they are just stupid, and ruin everything you do.

2. Truly demonic forces, who want to see you destroyed, and removed from the land of promise.

Both can be vicious and relentless, or just constant obstacles that seem “just too hard to overcome.”

Dealing with fallen humanity usually requires close contact with others for support, asserting oneself, making sure you are doing your best, so that there is no legitimate cause against you, networking for strength.

Dealing with the demonic element requires prayer and fortitude, using the Word of God (the “sword of the spirit”), and networking with other believers. Being isolated can be lethal, so keep someone around for support. There are different posts on this site to explore different situations. Use these resources and other websites for help.

What will help the most is to understand your enemy, and be able to see them quickly for what they are. Do not let yourself be deceived. Always be alert. If you falter, and they hurt you, turn quickly to God for spiritual shelter. If you are in “Egypt” or bondage, first leave there, and get out. Repentance and trust in God is needed for Him to help you.

Remember that the Land of Promise has nothing to do with physical, materialistic things. It is a spiritual kingdom, and the physical will only be perfected once Messiah comes. If you can understand that your “milk and honey” is spiritual, not physical, this will help you cope with physical losses, when they occur.

Remember that we all have different assignments in the kingdom. Some will seem to be more successful and “glamorous” in the physical world, but there is a divine reason for it. Do not be jealous of them. Their assignment is different, and it is NOT better than yours. You may be a “nothing” in the world, but you have something to accomplish in humility that the “successful” person is unable to do. Actually, both need to be humble before God to be successful.

Your assignment is just as important as theirs, so stop trying to be like them, and look around to see what God wants you to do.

Remember that God is not a respecter of persons, and we are all nothing compared to Him. He is the only one who is really “important.” Our identity comes NOT from what our assignment is – humble or “glamorous” – but how well we serve Him. At God’s banquet, some people buy the food, others serve the food. Both are servants to one God.

We are in the Promised Land to work it, and produce souls, the fruit of our “seed,” which is the Word of God. We are not there to be comfortable.

Dealing with the giants on a larger scale – world threats

Who were the original giants? Let us take a closer look:

Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

Num 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, [which come] of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Deu 2:11 Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

Deu 2:20 (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

Deu 3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead [was] a bedstead of iron; [is] it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits [was] the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Deu 3:13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, [being] the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

Jos 12:4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, [which was] of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, Jos 13:12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.

Jos 15:8 And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same [is] Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

Jos 17:15 And Joshua answered them, If thou [be] a great people, [then] get thee up to the wood [country], and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

Jos 18:16 And the border came down to the end of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of the son of Hinnom, [and] which [is] in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,

The nephilim were offspring of fallen angels and human women. Considering the fact that angels were spirits, accomplishing a physical mating has some interesting theories. One I propose, but you do not have to accept it, as it is only a speculative theory:

During the flood of Noah, the nephilim were destroyed. Yet, in the accounts of King David of Israel, they had returned. King David killed the last one, we think.

Thousands of years have gone by, and today, we have not heard anything about a race of giants. But does this mean the demonic forces are not active? No.

In modern times, there may be some of this evil activity going on, but we may not see physical giants as a result. The people may appear “normal.” They are still “spiritual giants,” and need to be defeated.

However, one activity has increased and that is witchcraft and other occult practices. Now, the demons do not have to mate with humans to get them to do their will. The humans are doing it voluntarily.

There are people on this earth now who are demon possessed. Some are obvious, but most are discreet.

Jesus said that the last days would be as in the time of Noah. And in those days, there was widespread violence, demonic activity and evil behavior. People that bring this to us, whether they are possessed or not, are our modern spiritual giants. They may be criminals, radically immoral people, terrorists, or people in government.

We need to be prayerful about the kinds of decisions we make, and who we trust with our countries and societies. Some “giants” are openly in our face, and yet we give into them. They should not get special rights or considerations, because we feel some strange need to be “fair.” They are not fair, and we need to stand up to them in our daily lives, our countries, our elections, our governments, our churches, and in the world.

This is where the sword of the spirit comes in. There is no way most of us can fight someone in a higher position than we have on our own. We have to use prayer, and communication, and cover ourselves with the blood of Jesus, and go out and fight. There may be some things we do in the physical, as in voting for the right person, or opposing some wrong activity, but we must do this in conjunction with our spiritual warfare.

If we do not fight, we will not keep the Land of Promise that is ours, and we will suffer for this. As long as we submit unto God’s perfect will, and resist the devil, we will keep what is promised us, even if we have many battle wounds to go along with it. The wounds will heal someday.

Maybe the crown of life that awaits us is a heavenly version of the “purple heart.” We might need to be wounded in spiritual battle to get it.

The Palace - Removing the Strongman

Luke 11:20-26
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. 21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. 23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. 24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. 25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Devils are cast out by the spirit and not by power. When you use the term strongman, it is a term that is to indicate a control or rulership on authority over us. For example, a strongman or burglar taking control of a store and robbing it. A stronghold has been made.

What is a stronghold?

vs. 21 - it is the control by the ruling principality (evil spirit) over a person's life. God created you with a sovereignty it doesn't man the rulership of any principality over you. You have been created to be spiritually free.

When these evil spirits come into your life then the rule over your life and you submit to them and their authority. You submit to their design and intent. You become under their authority and control. The strongman armed would be an evil spirit, principality, taking your house (your palace) over. It is controlling you. His goods would be the armor that is in peace. For example: Bitterness is ruling principality for the devil. When bitterness is armed keepeth your palace his good (or underlings) are at peace (unforgiveness, resentment, retaliation, anger/wrath, hatred, violence and murder in action or with the tongue). These are now in peace under his authority. That is not your peace that is the strongman's peace. When the evil spirit is within you, he is at peace and you are in torment. When he is gone, he is in torment and you are in peace.

Vs. 24-26 it means when the evil spirit is cast out, it goes into torment, that dry place of the second heaven, invisible where evil spirits are when they don't inhabit a human being is a dry place. Why is it a place of torment for them, it's a place of torment because they have all these feelings. They have all these urges. They have all the manifestations of their nature roaring through their consciousness. Evil spirits are disembodied beings. They are as real as you or I except they don't have a physical body and are bound to the spirit dimension of spirit. They are not either in the earth visible nor are they in heaven spiritually. Jesus said this, I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven.

When the evil spirit is in you, it wants to manifest himself by its nature. If it is bitterness, it wants to use you as a medium of expression and when you allow it that becomes your sin. You need to repent for allowing it to become part of your life. You need to repent to God for allowing an evil spirit or principality or spiritual wickedness in high places and not be controlled by the Holy Spirit in your life otherwise you cannot be used as an oracle for God. You become an oracle for the devil through his kingdom. Example, has anyone ever rejected you and you lashed out in anger at them? Then you just participated in their sin. It was not love and you were not in the spirit but in the flesh manifesting anger at the other person.

When you start spouting off in anger or wrath (because of bitterness/unforgiveness), that is not even you. That is an evil spirit that has taken you over, you go down, it comes up and it uses your faculties as a medium of expression and it fulfills its nature. It is very much happy to do so. You are very unhappy and you have become the victim of an evil spirit in your heart. How do you get it out of your life, through repentance and then casting it out of your life? If you want to punish an evil spirit, cast it out so that it has to go to dry places and manifest all of its personality then it will be in torment. Not you!

That is why the bible says to resist the devil and he shall flee and that we not to give no place to the devil. That's why the bible says to keep ourselves pure from the works of evil. That is why we are supposed to have discernment. It also says to put things under our feet.

What does it mean to be pure spiritually? It means you are acting out of according to the nature of God as he created you from the beginning of the foundation of the world. That is spiritual purity.

What is spiritual impurity?

You are allowing the mentality and mind of the kingdom of Satan to operate through you influencing you, speak through you, act through you and do drastically deeds through you. That is spiritual impurity. You can deal with your emotions all you want, but if you don't deal with the spirit behind it, it will be a long life struggle to overcome it with your inner man.

Jesus said in Mark 7:20-23 20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

What is verses 20-23 saying? What is in the heart of man (your heart is the human spirit), expresses itself out of a man in a thought, a word or an action. That is in the spiritual dynamics of a man that manifests and comes up and out through thought, word or deed.

Now when someone stronger than the strongman shall come upon him and overcome him and take away from him all his armor wherein he trusted and divided his spoils.

What is spoils? It is a term of war. When you go in and overcome an enemy, you get all of his goods. The spoils of bitterness, has seven areas that are important to him (unforgiveness, resentment, retaliation, anger/wrath, murder - they are the underlings to bitterness) it his purpose for being. He's trusting that when you deal with the root of bitterness he trusting with all of his might sitting in your house that resentment is as far as you are going to go. Then anger/wrath will want to pump it up and get it back in its life. These are the things he is trusting in that he can keep his position in ruler ship because he is sitting on his throne in your castle (your house). It is trusting it can control you with its armor and its armor is what other spirits lesser than itself.

Luke 11 the strongman armed is the principality or evil spirit that lives in your palace and his goods are in peace. What are his goods? Means every bit of his kingdom (underlings or other spirits) that he's banking on to control you is in place and operating very well. If you are dealing with a root of bitterness, all 7 of these are working somewhere in you (unforgiveness, resentment, retaliation, anger/wrath, murder). Murder can be murder of the tongue or physical murder. All seven of these are the goods that are in peace. For example, when the principality of the unloving spirit there are good which are for example are self-hatred, self-pity, self-rejection, self-idolatry, selfishness, self-accusation, etc.

When one of the goods or underlings is manifesting such as self-pity, then the kingdom of self is being promoted and not the kingdom of God. You are introspecting. Self-pity is a feeling of sorrow (often self-indulgent) over your own sufferings in the past or in the present. It is self exalting your problems.

How can you get past your past pain when in self-pity? You cannot when you are manifesting self-pity. It is people who habitually indulge in self-pity--it's "injustice collector." These are the folks who are constantly dwelling on their hurts and hardships--whether real or imagined--and they enjoy thinking about them and talking about them. That is why it is the kingdom of self. A person in self-pity is keeping a record of wrong. God's way instructs us to walk in the God kind of love, which is "not self-seeking," and which "keeps no record of wrongs."

That is why it is very important to repent, pull down the thought that is not of love or have it cast out otherwise, if it stays and becomes habitual, then it is a stronghold. That person is in habitual self-pity and cannot seem to get free.

So, when you act out in anger then you are in sin. When you feel rejected it is a sin. When you are in fear it is a sin and sin is a being. When you look at 2 Timothy 1:7 it says For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So, we see that fear is a spirit. A spirit that is opposite of God are demons that influence us.

Any sin will lead to a stronghold (spiritual bondage) if not dealt with. That is what Jesus did on the cross for us was give us a way to deal with our sin. In the old testament, they had to wait an entire year, do sacrifices on animals for blood to cover sin. It was not forgotten like what Jesus did for us on the cross when we repent and it is forgiven and forgotten.

Once a stronghold is established, the enemy influences us in our attitudes and actions, and also distorts our perception of God, other people and situations, causing us to misperceive situations to the detriment of relationships.

Jesus gave us the authority to cast down thought and strongholds.

A Letter from God

When I created the heavens and all the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed

him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned-- after I breathed the breath of

life into man because your nostrils were too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him, so I

could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with my creativity. From one bone, I fashioned

you. I chose the bone that protects man’s life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs, and

supports him, as you are meant to do.

Around this bone, I shaped you. I molded you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your

characteristics are as the rib – strong, yet delicate and fragile. You proved protection for the most

delicate organ in man…..his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of

life.

The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as

the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him; nor were you

taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side to stand beside him and to be

held close to his side.

You are My perfect angel. You are My little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of

excellence and My eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes don’t change them. Your

lips ---how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose, so perfect in form, your hands, so ge ntle in

touch. I’ve caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I’ve held your heart close to Mine.

Of all the lives and breaths, you are the most like Me. Adam walked with Me in the cool of the day,

yet he was lonely. He could not see Me or touch Me. He could only feel Me. So everything I

wanted Adam to share and experience with Me, I fashioned in you. My holiness, My strength, My

purity, My love, My protection and support. You are special because you are an extension of me.

Man represents My image, Woman represents My emotions. Together you represent the totality of

God.

So, Man treat Woman well. Love her; respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt Me.

What you do to her, you do to Me. In crushing her, you damage your own heart, the heart of your

Father. Woman, support Man. In humility, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

My Personal Testimony

Through all my healings, I help birth J2W Healing Ministry (I've since resigned) and now raising up a bible study this fall to teach on the full Gospel of Christ. Mankind has disease because disease has a cause and effect (80%) which is a result of separation on three levels opening the door to fear and - (Matthew 22:36-40) much more.

My heart is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and my compassion is to restore people's broken spirit and see others on a pathway of wholeness and to find their ultimate destiny and calling. What is blocking your destiny! A wounded spirit compromises the immune system producing disease.

When you have a broken spirit from victimization, abuse from others, witnessing violence, natural disasters, loss of loved ones or loss of dreams, it creates a wounded spirit. I went through a lot of victimization and lots of abuse that I had intense negative thoughts (self-pity, unforgiveness, etc.) releasing strong toxic chemicals into the body affecting every cell in your body. Self-pity is the glue which holds you to your past and you are not able to move forward to your purpose of life originallly intended by God. I had separation in three areas:

Separation from God, His Word and His love.
Separation from yourself.
Separation from others.

Jesus heals by setting captives free

When I learned to discern good and evil and that not all my toughts are not mine and I lined up to God's truth (forgiving others who abused me and victimized me), I was set free from many diseases. Jesus came to heal All diseases and setting captives free:

Many of my other diseases were a result of unforgiveness toward my dad (Jesus radically forgives sin and Jesus heals All disease after confessing sin). We all know the Lord's prayer but did you know in He is a man full of torment and self-hatred and when somone has self-hatred, they cannot love others properly or affirm their children. Heloved to provoke fighting.

I've done all the traditional stuff such as psychiatry counseling, behavior modification, medications, Leanne Payne, Discovering Intimacy, inner healing ministries, several deliverance ministries (Vision Life, Don Dickerman Ministries, plus other deliverance ministries), healing lines, alternative medicine and seeding faith for my healing. None got until I read the book by Henry Wright "A More Excellent Way". I learned the spiritual roots of my disease as well as this book help unravel the mysteries of disease and reveal pathways to health and wholeness based on scriptural insight and understanding. Most of all my broken heart (wounded spirit) was healed from the hurts of the past.

Building A Foundation

Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

In Greek foundation - themelios - 2310 - of institution or system of truth

In the natural the foundations has to be dug deep to hit bedrock so that the house or building will stay stable. If a house is built on sand, it will not stand.

Ezra 3:10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.

How do you building a spiritual foundation?

1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Christ came to earth to provide a rock solid foundation for our lives. Isaiah wrote Isaiah 28:16 (King James Version) 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

This rock solid foundation provides us with a place of refuge throughout life. Solomon said, "Proverbs 10:25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation."

How Do We Build A Spiritual Foundation in the Lord?

1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Christ teaches us the importance of doing as well as hearing. Luke 6:47 "Whosoever cometh to me and heareth my saying, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
A rock foundation represents true understanding and right action—true conviction and commitment manifested in righteousness.
A personal relationship with Christ the Rock can we find emotional and spiritual stability—without which even our most dedicated purposes rest on shifting sand. That means studying God's word, prayer life and fasting.
Having a foundation of repentance from dead works. Hebrews 6:¹Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Jesus' metaphor in the parable is apt: A man's character is like a house. Unless one builds his character on the rock-solid foundation of God's Word, he will surely be swept away.

The flood represents the trials of life. Many times, the trials of life descend upon us either through our own lack of character or because of events in the world around us.
