Never was, never will be. But it's not very hard to figure out the criteria of a drug dealer's dream customer.

1. They have money. Obviously
2. They are willing to try different products.
3. They are longtime customers.

Keep that criteria in mind while we talk about Texas Ranger's manager, Ron Washington.

You already know that he has money and he is the newly crowned cocaine champion. What you didn't know is that he has been a longtime customer and he is well versed in multiple drugs. That's right. He is a drug dealer's dream customer.

One day after admitting that he used and tested positive for cocaine one time last summer, Rangers manager Ron Washington found himself answering questions on Thursday about his use of marijuana and amphetamines during his playing career.

The extra attention was Washington's doing. During numerous one-on-one interviews Wednesday, Washington admitted to various news outlets that he did indeed use both drugs on occasion as a player.

"When you're young, you make mistakes," Washington said. "I wish I could take back the mistakes I did, but I can't. You make mistakes.

"But the mistakes you make when I was young have nothing to do with what I'm facing today."
And somewhere, some old school drug dealer is still spending that "Ron Washington" money.

Washington admits drug use as player (MLB.com)
With tip off just hours away, let’s dig into the final region. The South.

The team that is primed to pull off the first round upset: Siena.
Many people are jumping on the Siena’s first round bandwagon, and for good reason. Not because Siena is overwhelmingly better than Purdue. It’s because Purdue will be without Robbie Hummel. And playing without Hummel could help Siena pull the upset.

A top seed that may not make it out of the 1st weekend: Purdue.
Just don’t have faith in Purdue without Hummel. Even if they get past Siena, Texas A&M may be waiting. And that doesn’t look good for the Boilermakers.

A team other than Duke that can win the region: Villanova.
Many people have soured on Villanova. I obviously haven’t. The NCAA tournament can be dominated by good guard play. Villanova has a great, experienced guard in Scottie Reynolds. He has the ability to carry the Wildcats to the Final Four.

Who we're taking in the 1st round:Duke, Louisville, Texas A&M, Siena, Notre Dame, Baylor, Richmond, Villanova

Who we're taking in round 2: Duke, Texas A&M, Baylor,Villanova

Sweet Sixteen winners: Duke,Villanova

Regional Champion: Villanova

Jordan paid $275M for the 6-year-old franchise and hopes to lead the team in a new direction. "I plan to make this franchise an organization that Charlotte can be proud of, and I am committed to doing all that I can to achieve this goal," Jordan replied when asked about his plans for the team.

Before the deal was brokered, Jordan was a minority owner of the team, but had the final say in basketball decisions.

Though they have never made the playoffs, the Bobcats currently hold the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference (34-32) and look as if they will make their first post-season appearance in franchise history.

Jordan is the first ex-player to become majority owner of a NBA team and the second African-American owner in major pro sports history. He bought the franchise from Bob Johnson, a man who was the first black major pro sports owner.

The team has struggled a bit with ticket sales since, but with Jordan's star power and a brilliant marketing strategy ticket sales will soon be the least of the Bobcats' problems.

The official press conference will take place on Thursday, no word on whether Jordan will run day-to-day basketball operations or hire someone to perform those duties.

Let's take a look at the East Region.

The team that is primed to pull off the first round upset: Cornell.
Everyone is picking them, so I will too. But please believe, people are on the Cornell bandwagon for good reason. Any team that can shoot the three like Cornell can is definitely a threat. All it takes is for them to get hot and a game could be put away early.

A top seed that may not make it out of the 1st weekend: New Mexico.
New Mexico is a solid team. I just don’t like their potential matchups. They should have no problem with Montana in the first round, but the second round could get sketchy. Marquette is a very tough team and Washington is one of the hottest teams coming into the tournament. New Mexico better be ready.

A team other than Kentucky that can win the region: West Virginia.
Bob Huggins is pissed about his team’s seed. So you better believe that his team will be out to prove that they are a title contender.

Who we're taking in the 1st round: Kentucky, Texas, Temple, Wisconsin, Marquette, New Mexico, Missouri, West Virginia

Who we're taking in round 2: Kentucky, Temple, Marquette, West Virginia

Sweet Sixteen winners: Kentucky,West Virginia

Regional Champion: West Virginia

The Knicks aren’t the only team in New York who is looking to steal a big star from another team. The Yankees always have an eye on big name players that they can stack their team with. This year’s big fish? Joe Mauer.

There are whispers that the Yankees are keeping a close eye on the Mauer contract situation. And they’re ready to take him off Minnesota’s hand if the two parties can’t agree. If that doesn’t piss you off, this should:

They’re considered the favorite to land him.

"But in my opinion," said one scout, "the next catcher for the Yankees will be Joe Mauer. Imagine if the Twins don't sign him and he goes out there on the market next winter with both the Yankees and Red Sox in need of a catcher? That will be the wildest bidding war in baseball history, and don't think his agent doesn't know it. And if they (Twins) decide to trade him, the Yankees have the better pieces to get him."
Just in case you’ve forgotten over the long offseason, this is why you hate the Yankees.

New York Yankees keep eye on Minnesota's contract talks with catcher Joe Mauer (NY Daily News)
Let's turn our attention to the West region.

The team that is primed to pull off the first round upset: Minnesota.
The Gophers got on a pretty good roll at the end of the season and basically played themselves into the tournament. So Xavier may need to be weary. Tubby Smith has won a National Championship and has a ton of experience coaching in the tournament. Xavier can’t afford a bad game here.

A top seed that may not make it out of the 1st weekend: Pitt.
I know Pitt played in the grueling Big East. And they did pretty good in conference. But I just see them as the most vulnerable high seed in this region. They just seem to be a little too shaky for me.

A team other than Syracuse that can win the region: Vanderbilt.
Vandy is a very intriguing game. They have a scorer in Jermaine Beal and a solid big man in A.J. Ogilvy. If you have those two things, you can be dangerous in the tournament.

Who we're taking in the 1st round: Syracuse, FSU, Butler, Vandy, Minnesota, Pitt, BYU, Kansas St.

Who we're taking in round 2: Syracuse, Vandy, Pitt, Kansas St.

Sweet Sixteen winners: Syracuse,Kansas St.

Regional Champion: Kansas St.

PALM HARBOR, Fla. (AP) -- Tiger Woods will return to golf at the Masters next month.

In a statement Tuesday, Woods said he will play at Augusta National after a four-month hiatus because of a sex scandal.

The Masters begins on April 8.

Woods says that while he's returning to competition, he still has a lot of work to do in this personal life.

It's time for us to give you the two cents that will ultimately help you dominate your NCAA tournament pool. We'll get this thang started by taking a look at the Midwest Region.

The team that is primed to pull off the first round upset: Georgia Tech.
Paul Hewitt's boys finally played the way that most thought they would play the entire year in the ACC tournament. If that play carries over to the tournament, the Jackets could be a very tough out. And it doesn't hurt to have two bigs in Gani Lawal and Derrick Favors patrolling the paint either.

A top seed that may not make it out of the 1st weekend: Maryland.
The Terps are not a very big team and they rely heavily on their guards. Namely Greivis Vasquez and Eric Hayes. They run into problems when those guards struggle, as Vasquez did in the ACC tournament. If Vasquez continues to struggle, Houston could become troublesome in the 1st round. And even if they make it past the Cougars, Michigan St. will likely be waiting.

A team other than Kansas that can win the region: Georgetown.
Georgetown definitely has the pieces to win the region, the question is will they? You never really know which Georgetown team will show up. Will it be the Georgetown team that absolutely blitzed Duke? Or will it be the Georgetown team that got its doors blown off by Syracuse? If it's the former shows up, look out.

Who we're taking in the 1st round:Kansas, UNLV, Michigan St., Maryland, Tennessee, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Ohio State

Who we're taking in round 2: Kansas, Michigan St., Georgetown,Ohio State

Sweet Sixteen winners: Kansas, Georgetown

Regional Champion: Kansas

But like everything, it has become stale. How many different times can one run naked onto a soccer field? Or a baseball diamond? Or a football field? Catching my drift yet? Streaking is just over done.

Well a man known as “The Captain” (fitting) has made a move to take streaking to a new level and new venues. The Crufts dog show was his first victim.

A streaker livened up the proceedings at the last night of Crufts today.

As competitors watched the judging of the Gundog group on the fourth day of the canine showcase, the man ran into the arena at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

He was wearing nothing but shoes and socks and a cat-shaped mask covering his modesty and had the words "I streak.com" written on his chest.

The man, believed to be known as the 'Captain', was quickly escorted from the area, allowing judging to continue.
And with that, the new era of streaking has begun

He must be barking! Streaker stuns Crufts judges by running into arena (Mail Online)
If you're on twitter and you're not following Ozzie Guillen, you need to have your head examined.

Seriously.

He has only been on twitter for just about 2 months and in that time he has been able to bless us with thought provoking tweets like this one:

Bed and bath I love this places
Compelling right? Well, we almost got the chance to get these and other dealings in the life of Ozzie Guillen on his very own website. But sadly, the White Sox shot down that bright idea.

Guillen confirmed Thursday that while he's allowed to continue his Twitter and Facebook accounts -- although only after a talk with Williams on the subject -- members of the Sox' front office have shot down the idea of Guillen having his own Web site.

"It's a lot of reasons they have,'' Guillen said. ''I wanted to do it. I thought it was a great idea, but in the meanwhile, I have to go by their rules. The White Sox' rules are they want me to stay away from a lot of things, and I respect that."
* Sigh * What could have been.

This shouldn't surprise you since the Knicks are confident that they can get every available free agent this summer. Whether it's Lebron, D-Wade, Bosh, or Joe Johnson, the Knicks thinks they can get whomever they want. Nothing wrong with a little confidence right? Even if they really don't have anything to be confident about.

But the Knicks want you to know that this time is different. This time they have every reason to be confident. Because everyone knows they have Joe Johnson in the bag. Everyone being themselves, Joe Johnson, and the rest of the league.

There is a growing sentiment among opposing team executives that at the very least the Knicks will sign Atlanta's Joe Johnson, whose agent, Arn Tellem, orchestrated the Tracy McGrady trade to the Knicks and has been friends with Walsh for 20 years. It's called a "wink-wink deal," and even though it is against NBA rules, the practice does exist and is nearly impossible to police.

"I think that's a done deal," said one Eastern Conference GM.
You guys have a wink-wink deal? Why didn't you say you guys had a wink-wink deal? Of course this is a done deal. Everyone knows that wink-wink deals are foolproof.

This is the kind of stuff that you will have to endure if you get caught slippin'. So don't get caught slippin'. Or just don't cheat.

According to a source close to Elin and her family, she has "gone up and down a number of times, debating whether Tiger really has been rehabilitated and can remain monogamous for the rest of his life."

"Elin's keeping him on a very short leash," added the source, explaining Tiger not only keeps a daily journal of his thoughts and activities, but Elin insists on reading every entry.

Trust is understandably still an issue. Elin also checks Tiger's e-mails and cell-phone log constantly. Apparently, she learned of a woman at the Hattiesburg, Miss., treatment center where Tiger initially went for help, shortly after the Thanksgiving Day incident at the Woodses' Florida home. Even though the woman in rehab was of no interest to Tiger (apparently proved by his curt replies to her continuous e-mails to him), Elin took an interest, simply because the e-mailer was female.

Apparently, Mrs. Woods shot off quite the sharp-worded e-mail to the woman, and that quickly quashed any further contact.

With each passing day, the plot gets thicker and thicker in the Ben Roethlisberger case. Today is no different. Here we have photos that have emerged of Sgt. Jerry Blash posing with Roethlisberger just hours before the sexual assault complaint was filed by Ben's accuser.

MILLEDGEVILLE — The patrol officer who initially investigated the sexual assault complaint against Ben Roethlisberger posed for photographs with the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback an hour before his accused filed her complaint.

Sgt. Jerry Blash, who subsequently wrote a sparse incident report that did not name Roethlisberger, had a close-up picture taken with the celebrity football player inside a local bar and, later, outside the bar with a group of other officers.
Words from Police Chief Woodrow Blue and that group shot after the jump.

Police Chief Woodrow Blue said he was not troubled by the photographs, adding that his officers handled the case correctly from the onset.

“The photographs did not and have not affected the investigation at all,” said Blue.

And while Blash, an eight-year veteran of the Milledgeville Police Department, was the officer approached by the alleged victim and the officer who wrote the incident report, Blue said Blash had little involvement in the subsequent investigation.
From all accounts, this matter seems to have been handled the best way it could've been. And though some could make a fuss about these pictures, I believe that this is much ado about nothing.

What we have here is the Miami Hurricanes' "Pipeline To The Pros" cereal. No I'm not kidding. The Miami Hurricanes really have a cereal that can be purchased at your local supermarket. And it comes with the numbers of all the active Miami Hurricanes in the NFL in marshmallow form. Ok, I made that part up, but the cereal is really just Frosted Flakes in a different box. So if you need a sugar rush, "Pipeline To The Pros" is for you.
Bush and the man who was brought in to help repair the steroid-shattered image of Mark McGwire, has been huddling with Woods, plotting a strategy for his return to golf — at the Arnold Palmer Invitational starting March 25 at Bay Hill in Orlando, Fla.

“They were in his living room this week going over a strategy for how to handle Bay Hill in two weeks,” one source told The Post.

The other source told The Post, “I would be shocked if he didn’t play the Arnold Palmer.”

Now, just the mention of his name has negative connotation.

Once again, the Pittsburgh Steelers 'Golden Boy' and two-time Super Bowl winning QB was accused of sexual assault. This time his accuser is a 20-year-old female college student.

The young woman, according to reports, vows that Roethlisberger sexually assaulted her at Capital City, a night club in Milledgeville, GA.

Two questions came to mind when the story broke a few days ago. Why does Roethlisberger own a home in Milledgeville, GA? And secondly, of all the magnificent cities in the US, why would he choose Milledgeville to host his birthday celebration?

Either way, this accusation causes us all to question the reliability of Roethlisberger's judgment and also his credibility.

As human beings, we all have and will make mistakes in life, some bigger than others. I can't and will not sit on a soap box and preach as if I'm the quintessential man because I'm not.

Nevertheless, if the first 'sexual assault encounter' didn't rattle Ben's cage just a little, then maybe he's a lost cause. Perhaps he loves living on the edge.

Regardless of what he prefers or how he chooses to live, Roethlisberger must understand that soon he will become a villain in the eyes of the public, even though many guys have been vilified for far less. But that's a different topic altogether.

My advice to Ben and others like him. Get a camcorder and have your lawyer draft a disclosure statement that requires women, those who wish to engage in sexual acts with you, to sign it.

If that doesn't work, find a woman with some moral standards and inhibitions and get married, have a kid or two. Do whatever it takes to stay out of the slammer.
