HOMOSEXUALITY IN KENYA

In-depth research indicates that gradually, homosexuality is gaining ground in Kenya amidst mixed reactions from the locals. According to Aljazeera, the Kenyan film industry had already banned two films for portraying gay-like lives in the past years and also in June 2022 two Kenyans told the same media they had “developed a phobia of public hospitals” and are willing to risk their lives due to discriminations in hospital by Doctors.

What is the Proper Way to Pray to God in Heaven?

Is it good to pray while standing up, sitting down, kneeling, or bowing down? Should our hands be open, closed, or lifted up to God? Do our eyes need to be closed when we pray? Is it better to pray in a church building or out in nature? Should we pray in the morning when we get up or at night before we go to bed? Are there certain words we need to say in our prayers? How do we begin our prayers? What is the proper way to close a prayer? These questions, and others, are common questions asked about prayer. What is the best way to pray? Do any of the above things even matter?

Many times, prayer is seen as a "magical formula." Some of us believe that if we do not say exactly the right word, or pray in the right position, God will not hear and answer our prayer. This is not biblical. God does not consider the day on which we pray, where we are, our body position, or the order in which we use words in our prayers.1 John 5:14-15 tell us to have confidence when we come to God in prayer, knowing He hears us and will grant whatever we ask as long as it is in His will. In the same way, John 14:13-14 reads, "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." According to these and many other bible verses, God answers prayer based on whether they are asked according to His will and in the name of Jesus only (to bring glory to Jesus).

So, what is the best way to pray? Philippians 4:6-7 tells us to pray without being worried of it's result but sure, to pray about everything, and to pray with thankful hearts. God will answer all prayers with His peace in our hearts. The proper way to pray is to pour out our hearts to God, being honest and open with God, as He already knows us better than we know ourselves. We are to present our requests to God, knowing that God knows what is best and will not answer to a request that is not in His will for us. We are to express our love, thanks, and worship to God in prayer without worrying about the right words to say. God is more interested in what is in our hearts than only selecting nice words.

The typical example is the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.Please know that the Lord's Prayer is not a prayer we are to pray off head and repeat to God always as a tradition.It is an example of the things that should be in prayer—worship, trust in God, requests, confession, and submission. We are to pray for the things the Lord's Prayer talks about, using our own words and "matching them" to our own situation & journey with God. The proper way to pray is to speak what is in our hearts to God. Sitting, standing, or kneeling; hands open or closed; eyes opened or closed; in a church, at home, or outside; in the morning or at night—are not most important , it's subject to personal choice, or how you're convinced personally, and how it's good for you. God's desire is for prayer to be a real and personal link between Himself and us.

Angel of the covenant Angels are also called messengers.Malachi 3:1 “I’m going to send my messenger, and he will clear the way ahead of me. Then the Lord you are looking for will suddenly come to his temple. The messenger of the promise will come. He is the one you want,” says the Lord of Armies.
Angel of the Lord Judges 13:18 The Messenger of the Lord asked him, “Why do you ask for my name? It’s a name that works miracles.” and Zechariah 1:12 Then the Messenger of the Lord said, “Lord of Armies, how much longer until you show compassion to Jerusalem and the cities of Judah? You’ve been angry with them for 70 years.”
Anointed more than His companions Psalms 45:7You have loved what is right and hated what is wrong. That is why God, your God, has anointed you, rather than your companions, with the oil of joy.
Anointed with the Holy Spirit Acts 10:38 You know that God anointed Jesus from Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Jesus went everywhere and did good things, such as healing everyone who was under the devil’s power. Jesus did these things because God was with him.
Apostle of our confession Therefore, holy brothers and companions in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession;Hebrews 3:1

What are the Duties or Roles of a Pastors Wife?

The Bible doesn't mention the involvement of the pastor's wife in leading the Church ministry.The main area of women's responsibility is to support and be submissive to her husband Ephesians 5:22-24 "Wives, place yourselves under your husbands’ authority as you have placed yourselves under the Lord’s authority. The husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. It is his body, and he is its Savior. As the church is under Christ’s authority, so wives are under their husbands’ authority in everything."

If the Lord calls a man into the ministry, that includes the man's wife and his entire family. It at times differs from the denomination and board settings of a specific Church but the scriptures shouldn't be ignored as a measuring rode of any decisions that would be reached regarding this context.

Paul in 1Timothy 3 gives us the qualifications of a "bishop" or what we call a pastor today, and in verse four we see: one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence.Rules well means being a biblical husband with a submissive wife, and children that love & give him respect.The pastor who is the head of the home will be more successful as a leader in the church he pastors, and this means that his wife is his helper in the ministry of the home and the church.They partner in the ministry & all areas of life and not just in the home affairs.Let the woman exercise her duties freely without touching her husband's God-ordained position of heading the Church and the home.

The wife shouldn't do the work of the pastor, but the pastor and his wife are a team who are working together to do God's service.Many people want to put the pastor's wife strictly to keep the home fires burning and the husband's prayer partner.Partly that is her responsibility but most often the pastor's wife has gifts that can be used in the ministry. Also, there are women whose husbands are pastors and they see it as his ministry and don't join him. There should be a good balancing between these two ideas to bring glory to God in all things.A pastor's wife is very important to the church.

A Biblically sound Pastor will head the home and the Church while taking note of his wife's spiritual gifts and other potentials by putting them to use both at home and in the Church under him.

19 Different Names of God, and Their Meaning With Scripture Reference.

Each of many names of God describes a different aspect of His character. Here are some of the names of God in the Bible:

EL, ELOAH [el, el-oh-ah]: God "mighty, strong, prominent" (Nehemiah 9:17; Psalm 139:19) – etymologically, El appears to mean “power” and “might” (Genesis 31:29). El is associated with other qualities, such as integrity (Numbers 23:19), jealousy (Deuteronomy 5:9), and compassion (Nehemiah 9:31), but the root idea of “might” remains.
ELOHIM [el-oh-heem]: God “Creator, Mighty and Strong” (Genesis 17:7; Jeremiah 31:33) – the plural form of Eloah, which accommodates the doctrine of the Trinity. From the Bible’s first sentence, the superlative nature of God’s power is evident as God (Elohim) speaks the world into existence (Genesis 1:1).
EL SHADDAI [el-shah-dahy]: “God Almighty,” “The Mighty One of Jacob” (Genesis 49:24; Psalm 132:2,5) – speaks to God’s ultimate power over all.
ADONAI [ˌædɒˈnaɪ; ah-daw-nahy]: “Lord” (Genesis 15:2; Judges 6:15) – used in place of YHWH, which was thought by the Jews to be too sacred to be uttered by sinful men. In the Old Testament, YHWH is more often used in God’s dealings with His people, while Adonai is used more when He deals with the Gentiles.
YHWH / YAHWEH / JEHOVAH [yah-way / ji-hoh-veh]: “LORD” (Deuteronomy 6:4; Daniel 9:14) – strictly speaking, the only proper name for God. Translated in English Bibles “LORD” (all capitals) to distinguish it from Adonai, “Lord.” The revelation of the name is given to Moses “I Am who I Am” (Exodus 3:14). This name specifies an immediacy, a presence. Yahweh is present, accessible, near to those who call on Him for deliverance (Psalm 107:13), forgiveness (Psalm 25:11) and guidance (Psalm 31:3).
YAHWEH-JIREH [yah-way-ji-reh]: "The Lord Will Provide" (Genesis 22:14) – the name memorialized by Abraham when God provided the ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac.
YAHWEH-RAPHA [yah-way-raw-faw]: "The Lord Who Heals" (Exodus 15:26) – “I am Jehovah who heals you” both in body and soul. In body, by preserving from and curing diseases, and in soul, by pardoning iniquities.
YAHWEH-NISSI [yah-way-nee-see]: "The Lord Our Banner" (Exodus 17:15), where banner is understood to be a rallying place. This name commemorates the desert victory over the Amalekites in Exodus 17.
YAHWEH-M'KADDESH [yah-way-meh-kad-esh]: "The Lord Who Sanctifies, Makes Holy" (Leviticus 20:8; Ezekiel 37:28) – God makes it clear that He alone, not the law, can cleanse His people and make them holy.
YAHWEH-SHALOM [yah-way-shah-lohm]: "The Lord Our Peace" (Judges 6:24) – the name given by Gideon to the altar he built after the Angel of the Lord assured him he would not die as he thought he would after seeing Him.
YAHWEH-ELOHIM [yah-way-el-oh-him]: "LORD God" (Genesis 2:4; Psalm 59:5) – a combination of God’s unique name YHWH and the generic “Lord,” signifying that He is the Lord of Lords.
YAHWEH-TSIDKENU [yah-way-tzid-kay-noo]: "The Lord Our Righteousness” (Jeremiah 33:16) – As with YHWH-M’Kaddesh, it is God alone who provides righteousness to man, ultimately in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ, who became sin for us “that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
YAHWEH-ROHI [yah-way-roh-hee]: "The Lord Our Shepherd" (Psalm 23:1) – After David pondered his relationship as a shepherd to his sheep, he realized that was exactly the relationship God had with him, and so he declares, “Yahweh-Rohi is my Shepherd. I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).
YAHWEH-SHAMMAH [yah-way-sham-mahw]: "The Lord Is There” (Ezekiel 48:35) – the name ascribed to Jerusalem and the Temple there, indicating that the once-departed glory of the Lord (Ezekiel 8—11) had returned (Ezekiel 44:1-4).
YAHWEH-SABAOTH [yah-way-sah-bah-ohth]: "The Lord of Hosts" (Isaiah 1:24; Psalm 46:7) – Hosts means “hordes,” both of angels and of men. He is Lord of the host of heaven and of the inhabitants of the earth, of Jews and Gentiles, of rich and poor, master and slave. The name is expressive of the majesty, power, and authority of God and shows that He is able to accomplish what He determines to do.
EL ELYON [el-el-yohn]: “Most High" (Deuteronomy 26:19) – derived from the Hebrew root for “go up” or “ascend,” so the implication is of that which is the very highest. El Elyon denotes exaltation and speaks of absolute right to lordship.
EL ROI [el-roh-ee]: "God of Seeing" (Genesis 16:13) – the name ascribed to God by Hagar, alone and desperate in the wilderness after being driven out by Sarah (Genesis 16:1-14). When Hagar met the Angel of the Lord, she realized she had seen God Himself in a theophany. She also realized that El Roi saw her in her distress and testified that He is a God who lives and sees all.
EL-OLAM [el-oh-lahm]: "Everlasting God" (Psalm 90:1-3) – God’s nature is without beginning or end, free from all constraints of time, and He contains within Himself the very cause of time itself. “From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”
EL-GIBHOR [el-ghee-bohr]: “Mighty God” (Isaiah 9:6) – the name describing the Messiah, Christ Jesus, in this prophetic portion of Isaiah. As a powerful and mighty warrior, the Messiah, the Mighty God, will accomplish the destruction of God’s enemies and rule with a rod of iron (Revelation 19:15).

WHEN TEMPTED TO DO WRONG MATHEW 4 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” The devil said to him, “I will give you all this if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! WHEN THERE IS PHYSICAL DANGER ACTS 27 We had lost so much time that the day of fasting had already passed. Sailing was now dangerous, so Paul advised them, “Men, we’re going to face a disaster and heavy losses on this voyage. This disaster will cause damage to the cargo and the ship, and it will affect our lives.” However, the officer was persuaded by what the pilot and the owner of the ship said and not by what Paul said. When a gentle breeze began to blow from the south, the men thought their plan would work. They raised the anchor and sailed close to the shore of Crete. For several days,s we couldn’t see the sun or the stars. The storm wouldn’t let up. It was so severe that we finally began to lose any hope of coming out of it alive. Since hardly anyone wanted to eat, Paul stood among them and said, “Men, you should have followed my advice not to sail from Crete. You would have avoided this disaster and loss. Now I advise you to have courage. No one will lose his life. Only the ship will be destroyed. I know this because an angel from the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood by me last night. (There were 276 of us on the ship.) They struck a sandbar in the water and ran the ship aground. The front of the ship stuck and couldn’t be moved, while the back of the ship was broken to pieces by the force of the waves. WHEN YOU SIN 1 JOHN 1 If we say, “We aren’t sinful” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we’ve done wrong. If we say, “We have never sinned,” we turn God into a liar and his Word is not in us. 1 John 1:8‭-‬10

In this article, I want to explore the biblical difference, and similarities of the two keywords "Spiritual Gifts and Talent." Let's first look at their similarities.

SIMILARITIES BETWEEN SPIRITUAL GIFTS & TALENT

1-Both are God's gifts.

2-Both grow effectively with use.

3-Both are intended not to be used for selfish purposes. "The evidence of the Spirit’s presence is given to each person for the common good of everyone.1 Corinthians 12:7"

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPIRITUAL GIFTS & TALENT

1-Spiritual gifts are for all believers by the Holy Spirit. "Because of the kindness that God has shown me, I ask you not to think of yourselves more highly than you should. Instead, your thoughts should lead you to use good judgment based on what God has given each of you as believers. God in his kindness gave each of us different gifts. If your gift is speaking what God has revealed, make sure what you say agrees with the Christian faith. Romans 12:3, 6" "There is only one Spirit who does all these things by giving what God wants to give to each person.1 Corinthians 12:11" Spiritual Gifts Listed in the Book of Romans 12:7-8 If your gift is serving, then devote yourself to serving. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching. If it is encouraging others, devote yourself to encouraging them. If it is sharing, be generous. If it is leadership, lead enthusiastically. If it is helping people in need, help them cheerfully. Spiritual Gifts as Listed in the Book of 1 Corinthians 12:8-11 The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak with wisdom. The same Spirit gives another person the ability to speak with knowledge. To another person, the same Spirit gives courageous faith. To another person, the same Spirit gives the ability to heal. Another can work miracles. Another can speak what God has revealed. Another can tell the difference between spirits. Another can speak in different kinds of languages. Another can interpret languages. There is only one Spirit who does all these things by giving what God wants to give to each person. Spiritual Gifts as Listed in the Book of Ephesians 4:10-11. He also gave apostles, prophets, missionaries, as well as pastors, and teachers as gifts to his church.

NOTE: Since the above list differs, there may be other spiritual gifts not listed.

2-A talent can be the result of genes or training, while a spiritual gift is through the power of the Holy Spirit.

3-Anyone can be talented whether Christian or non-Christian. while spiritual gifts are only given to Christians.

4-Talents and spiritual gifts could be used both for spiritual and nonspiritual matters while holy spirits' gifts uniquely could not be used for nonspiritual matters.

Alleged preacher and someone's wife were allegedly practicing extra Bible studies and prayers in the shrine in broad daylight, according to witness testimony.

The woman's husband, who works in the adjacent town of Chogoria, returned home unannounced and proceeded to the pastor's office to find the supposed preacher and his wife worshipping together in the shrine.

"I drove home from town on Friday morning without telling my wife. According to the woman's husband, he went to the pastor's house unannounced at around 10 a.m. and walked in on the bishop and his partner in the shrine.

A young Somalian named Muhammad Abu Kar Abraham have been Stoned to death for apostasy for converting to Christianity in an incident that have attracted widespread condemnation from activist and social media users notably Facebook and Twitter.

Man Dies While Acting The Birth and Death of Jesus

A young seminarian identified as Suel Ambrose has passed on at Claretian University of Nigeria, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State in Nigeria while acting in a ‘Passion of Christ’ drama on campus.

The ‘Passion of Christ’ is a drama conducted by Christians that captures moments before and during the crucifixion of Jesus in line with Easter celebration.

According to Cable News who spoke with one of the students named Mavis, the young man slumped and died in action.

Mavis said:

“He was playing the role of the biblical Peter in the dream and that process when Peter cut the ear of one of the soldiers and Jesus fixed the ear and ask Peter to let them do their wish. You know how passionate the play is,”

SP Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson is being hunted on allegations of impregnating a suspect and neglecting a child.

Jane Asiimwe Muhindo, the Bushenyi District Resident Commissioner says that SP Tumusiime impregnated Phoebe Katusiime, 31, a resident of Katanda Village, Katanda Sub County in Rubirizi District.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Katusiime met Tumusiime at Kizinda Police Station where she was battling charges of child theft. He thereafter gave the victim Shs 2,000 to help her board to Bushenyi Central Police Station CPS where the Police Spokesperson lured into sleeping with her for a week as he helped her to settle her case.

Katusiiime later reportedly became pregnant, and informed the police officer who warned her to never again tell him that “nonsense”, prompting her to report the matter to police. He had warned her never to tell him about her or anyone about the pregnancy.

Katusiime later found out she had gotten pregnant for the police officer and she alleges that shs approached the Bushenyi probation officer who sent her to the office of the RDC where she got little money to buy food for her baby.

According to Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner Jane Asiimwe Muhindo, she tried to reach Tumusiime through his phone to settle the issue, and the two decided that he should send Shs 50,000 every month to take care of the child but he still refused.

While addressing journalists in her office, the RDC noted that she tried to talk and guide Tumusiime over the issue but still he refused to comprehend and therefore she had to address the issue to the media.

According to the RDC, SP Tumusiime accepted he would offer Shs 30,000 which the mother of the two months old baby boy says is not enough to take care of the young one.

The police case of child neglect under SD: 24/31/03/2022 has been slapped against Tumusiime and the investigations are ongoing.

What is the Biblical difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming?

The rapture and the second coming of Christ are not the same. Sometimes there's difficulty in determining whether a scripture verse is referring to the rapture or is referring to the second coming. However, in studying end-times Bible prophecy, it is very vital to differentiate between the two. Listen, After Jesus left this earth as the disciples watched Him ascend 2000 years ago if he's to return now, do you know that it isn't the true second coming but the rapture? Let's first define rapture and second coming with bible reference.
What is the Rapture?
The rapture is the time when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church (all believers in Christ) from the earth. Which is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (1Th 4:13 Brothers and sisters, we don't want you to be ignorant about those who have died. We don't want you to grieve like other people who have no hope.

What is the Second Coming?

The second coming is when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial kingdom. The second coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16. (Rev 19:11 I saw heaven standing open. There was a white horse, and its rider is named Faithful and True. With integrity, he judges and wages war.

Rev 19:12 His eyes are flames of fire. On his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him, but only he knows what it is.

Rev 19:13 He wears clothes dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

Rev 19:14 The armies of heaven, wearing pure, white linen, follow him on white horses.

Rev 19:15 A sharp sword comes out of his mouth to defeat the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter and tread the winepress of the fierce anger of God Almighty.

Rev 19:16 On his clothes and his thigh he has a name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.)

The important differences between the rapture and the second coming are as follows:

1) At the rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). (1Th 4:17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive will be taken in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. In this way we will always be with the Lord.) At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14).(Rev 19:14 The armies of heaven, wearing pure, white linen, follow him on white horses. )

2) The second coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation (Revelation chapters 6–19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9;(1Th 5:9 It was not God's intention that we experience his anger but that we obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.) and Revelation 3:10).(Rev 3:10 Because you have obeyed my command to endure, I will keep you safe during the time of testing which is coming to the whole world to test those living on earth.)

3) The rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The second coming includes the removal of unbelievers as an act of judgment (Matthew 24:40-41). (Mat 24:40 "At that time two men will be working in the field. One will be taken, and the other one will be left.

Mat 24:41 Two women will be working at a mill. One will be taken, and the other one will be left. )

4) The rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). (1Co 15:50 Brothers and sisters, this is what I mean: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. What decays cannot inherit what doesn't decay.

1Co 15:51 I'm telling you a mystery. Not all of us will die, but we will all be changed.

1Co 15:53 This body that decays must be changed into a body that cannot decay. This mortal body must be changed into a body that will live forever.

1Co 15:54 When this body that decays is changed into a body that cannot decay, and this mortal body is changed into a body that will live forever, then the teaching of Scripture will come true: "Death is turned into victory! ) The second coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7;(Rev 1:7 Look! He is coming in the clouds. Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. Every tribe on earth will mourn because of him. This is true. Amen.) and Matthew 24:29-30). (Mat 24:29 "Immediately after the misery of those days, the sun will turn dark, the moon will not give light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

Mat 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. All the people on earth will cry in agony when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds in the sky with power and great glory. )

5) The second coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other end-times events take place (2 Thessalonians 2:4;(2Th 2:4 He opposes every so-called god or anything that is worshiped and places himself above them, sitting in God's temple and claiming to be God.) and Matthew 24:15-30; (Mat 24:15 "The prophet Daniel said that the disgusting thing that will cause destruction will stand in the holy place. When you see this (let the reader take note),

Mat 24:16 those of you in Judea should flee to the mountains.

Mat 24:17 Those who are on the roof should not come down to get anything out of their houses.

Mat 24:18 Those who are in the field should not turn back to get their coats.

Mat 24:19 "How horrible it will be for the women who are pregnant or who are nursing babies in those days.

Mat 24:20 Pray that it will not be winter or a day of worship when you flee.

Mat 24:21 There will be a lot of misery at that time, a kind of misery that has not happened from the beginning of the world until now and will certainly never happen again.

Mat 24:22 If God does not reduce the number of those days, no one will be saved. But those days will be reduced because of those whom God has chosen.

Mat 24:23 "At that time don't believe anyone who tells you, 'Here is the Messiah!' or 'There he is!'

Mat 24:24 False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will work spectacular, miraculous signs and do wonderful things to deceive, if possible, even those whom God has chosen.

Mat 24:25 Listen! I've told you this before it happens.

Mat 24:26 So if someone tells you, 'He's in the desert!' don't go out looking for him. And don't believe anyone who says, 'He's in a secret place!'

Mat 24:27 The Son of Man will come again just as lightning flashes from east to west.

Mat 24:28 Vultures will gather wherever there is a dead body.

The Coming of the Son of Man

Mat 24:29 "Immediately after the misery of those days, the sun will turn dark, the moon will not give light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

Mat 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. All the people on earth will cry in agony when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds in the sky with power and great glory. ) Revelation chapters 6–18). The rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment (Titus 2:13;(Tit 2:13 At the same time we can expect what we hope for-the appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. ) 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54).

Why is it important to keep the rapture and the second coming distinct?

1) If the rapture and the second coming are the same events, believers will have to go through the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; and Revelation 3:10).

2) If the rapture and the second coming are the same events, the return of Christ is not imminent—there are many things that must occur before He can return (Matthew 24:4-30).

3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6–19 nowhere mentions the church. During the tribulation—also called "the time of trouble for Jacob" (Jeremiah 30:7)(Jer 30:7 How terrible that day will be! There will be no other day like it. It will be a time of calamity for the descendants of Jacob, but they will be rescued from it. )—God will again turn His primary attention to Israel (Romans 11:17-31). (Rom 11:17 But some of the olive branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive branch, have been grafted in their place. You get your nourishment from the roots of the olive tree.

Rom 11:18 So don't brag about being better than the other branches. If you brag, remember that you don't support the root, the root supports you.

Rom 11:19 "Well," you say, "Branches were cut off so that I could be grafted onto the tree."

Rom 11:20 That's right! They were broken off because they didn't believe, but you remain on the tree because you do believe. Don't feel arrogant, but be afraid.

Rom 11:21 If God didn't spare the natural branches, he won't spare you, either.

Rom 11:22 Look at how kind and how severe God can be. He is severe to those who fell, but kind to you if you continue to hold on to his kindness. Otherwise, you, too, will be cut off from the tree.

Rom 11:23 If Jewish people do not continue in their unbelief, they will be grafted onto the tree again, because God is able to do that.

Rom 11:24 In spite of the fact that you have been cut from a wild olive tree, you have been grafted onto a cultivated one. So wouldn't it be easier for these natural branches to be grafted onto the olive tree they belong to?

The Mystery of Israel's Salvation

Rom 11:25 Brothers and sisters, I want you to understand this mystery so that you won't become arrogant. The minds of some Israelites have become closed until all of God's non-Jewish people are included.

Rom 11:26 In this way Israel as a whole will be saved, as Scripture says, "The Savior will come from Zion. He will remove godlessness from Jacob.

Rom 11:27 My promise to them will be fulfilled when I take away their sins."

Rom 11:28 The Good News made the Jewish people enemies because of you. But by God's choice, they are loved because of their ancestors.

Rom 11:29 God never changes his mind when he gives gifts or when he calls someone.

Rom 11:30 In the past, you disobeyed God. But now God has been merciful to you because of the disobedience of the Jewish people.

Rom 11:31 In the same way, the Jewish people have also disobeyed so that God may be merciful to them as he was to you. )
Some Similarities between Rapture and Second coming
Both involve Jesus returning.

Both are end-times events.

However, it is crucially important to recognize the differences. In summary,

The rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God's wrath.

The second coming is the return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to defeat the Antichrist and his evil world empire which will be followed by 1000 years Christ will reign on this earth then eternal life begins.
