DIY: FREE Hidden Electricity!

All you need is a phone line! All phone lines have a constant flow of voltage, around 40-70 volts (up to 100 volts when it rings!), but you can't just plug stuff into it and expect it to work. You can really mess with your phone system by doing that. I discovered how to do it the right way!
Step 1: What You Need...

1. Small project enclosure
2. (1) 240ohm resistor
3. (1) 510ohm resistor
4. (1) LM317L Regulator
5. (1) KBP210 Bridge Rectifier
6. (2) Phone line cables

Step 2: The Schematic...

I connected the Positive end to one line of the female phone jack and the negative to the other. You could wire it directly to your light but I chose to do it this way so I could test other sources with just a phone jack interface cable. The Red and Green go to corresponding colors on the phone line that plugs into the wall.

Step 3: Final steps...

Mount the circuit in the project box and run your wires through two small drilled holes. Be sure to tie knots in the wires inside the box to prevent them from pulling out.

Step 4: Interface Cable...

I made an interface cable from an old wall adapter and phone line to connect the light to the box.

Step 5: Test it Out!

After wiring the LED's in parallel, I plugged everything in and it worked great! It even powered off when the phone was picked up and flashed when it rang. While this won't power your new 60" HD Plasma TV, it will power small amperage electronics and could come in handy if the power goes out! Enjoy your FREE source of power.

Do you ever get stuck in the car for very long, or go camping were there isn't any outputs? well all you need to make the Solar Power phone charger is a solar panel and a charger.
Equipment

: 6 or 5 volt solar panel

: phone charger

: sodering rod

: hot glue

: electrical tape

Now you need a cut off the USB ports from the charger and strip the wires. Then strip the wires from the solar panel is not stripped. Don't strip to small.

All you need to do is connect the wires and test if you connected them correct. for some resion I had to connect red with black and black with red. Now just sober them together and then you can ether hot glue like I did of use liquid electrical tape. I put electrical tape after the hot glue so it looked better.

It might stop working sometimes because it doesn't have enough light. It might not show that its charging but it's still charging.

Hide Your Online Identity

Your IP address is what you are known as online.

If a router has a data packet for you here’s how the conversation would probably go:

Router: Hey 192.168.13.6! I got a data packet for ya!

Computer: Gee thanks 192.168.0.0! Pass it on!

Believe it or not that’s definitely how they talk.

Given that you’re in this section of the blog, you have intentions that a normal internet surfer does not. You want to hack into websites, servers,accounts and what not.

Or maybe you’re part of the intelligent lot of internet users. The one that knows how important anonymity can be!

There are various reasons you would want to hide your IP:

1. You think you’d like to go on a hacking expedition.

2. You realise that any person who has your IP might as well own your computer.

3. If you’re a bit smarter, you’ll realise that anyone who has your online identity, might as well be you!

Let’s say you’re from the first variety,hacking into websites with your actual IP is like breaking into a house at 230 am, stealing money, jewelry, that Xbox Elite you always wanted and leaving behind a visiting card that says:

“Hey, I’m Thief, I took all your stuff and here is my address-Real Address. I may not be at home so call me on my mobile-Mobile Number. Let’s get together and have a drink sometime!”

Now that we know how important it is for people not to know who we are online, lets figure out how we will be anonymous.

Whenever you open a site, there is invariably an IP grabbing script that grabs your IP and keeps it for further reference.

There are three ways to hide your identity :

1.Using online proxy services.

These are online browsers that give you a fake IP address. These services will take you through their servers(proxy servers) and the IP of these servers will be seen and not yours.

Reliability Level: Chipmunk

Probably the most useless and stupid way to do it if you really mean business. These websites will drop your IP like a hot brick if someone comes to them saying you did something wrong to their website.

If you’re a hacker, you don’t want to use this. For the second and third category however, this works just fine, except that your information can/may/will be kept by the service. By information I mean usernames, passwords maybe even an odd mail….

2.Using plug-ins for your browser.

Truthfully speaking, if you want to hack, stop using chrome. It’s bundled with so many security layers that its impossible to use.

The browser to use is Aurora. It’s basically firefox, with a better icon

In this you will find a plug-in by the name of Anonymox. It gives you about 3 IPs to choose from. Being a Netherlands supporter this world cup, I always use the dutch IP.

I already have it installed. You have to install it from here.

The available IPs can be seen above.

Unfortunately, the dutch IP won’t work for some reason

To check whether it worked, go to ipchicken and check your IP before and after changing your IP with anonymox.

Reliability Level: Direwolf

Quite reliable and useful. Use for light fun and experimental hacking. If you belong to 2 or 3, it’s the same as using a web based proxy service.

3.Proxy Applications

These are applications that can be downloaded and these provide connections through proxy servers.

Reliability Level: These are more or less the same as online proxy services.

4.Using VPNs

VPNs are virtual private networks. All you need to know about them is that they’re to anonymity on the web what oxygen is to life on Earth.The most reliable, most expensive and most foolproof way to hide yourself online.

Reliability Level: These encrypt your data and hide your IP with such ferocity that they earn the reliability level of:Super Saiyan Level 20

When you’re using a VPN, no one, absolutely no one can come close to you on the web. It’s like you hired Hulk to be your online bodyguard.

Google Dorks Commands

How many times have you had to go all the way to page 10 on google looking for an ebook?

You wanted a pdf but they give you all sorts of useless stuff!

How many times has a scenario occured where you wanted a power point presentation for your school/college project and looking for a ppt file on google yields about two ppt files per page?!

While looking for a login page to hack with authentication bypass, how many times have you taken days on end, almost reached the middle of the search results and still not found anything?(Mind you there are millions of search results , reaching the halfway point is a big deal!)

Don’t worry anymore because GOOGLE DORKS are here!

Well, they’ve kind of been here since forever but a little drama is permissible.

Google Dorks and commands can be found here.

This is sort of the official website that was started by Johnny Long. Now it is found in the exploit-dbwebsite

Primarily used to discover vulnerable web applications, you can also use them to find stuff you want.

Google dorks aren’t really the commands we use, they’re the vulnerable webpages we find through these commands. Over time, the commands have started being called Google Dorks. I’m going to be referring to them as commands as calling them Dorks would be wrong.

Anyway, getting to the point.

I will list out a few commands that I know of and demonstrate how they work. You take it from there and use them as you like !

1. Double Quotes

Not really a command but it narrows down search results to quite an extent.

When you write something in double quotes, google looks for exact matches. Suppose you type “WPA Handshake” and press enter, the results you get will hold Hello there not Hello is there anybody out there or Hello in there. Just plain Hello There.

Let’s see how:

Typing just WPA Handshake:

Typing “WPA handshake” gives us only those results that have the exact phrase “WPA hacking ” in them.

2.The filetype tag

Getting to the real commands now, given a situation where you have to look for a pdf or a ppt file specifically.

Here’s how its done:

Notice how each result has a little PDF written in superscript. Yeah, click on one of those and you’ll start a pdf download.

3. inurl tag:

This tag helps you look for pages that match what you have written in the search query. Look and you’ll understand:

You will notice that every search result has a login.php page.

4.site tag

Websites have domains. These domains have names that usually have suffixes such as .com or.edu etc

If you’re looking for sites of a particular suffix, then use the site tag as follows:

If you notice, all sites in the results have a .in suffix.

(This suffix is called the top level domain.)

5.intext tag.

Looking for specific text in webpages?

This is the thing to use. Ex:

The word “blogging” has been highlighted in the description of each webpage indicating that the word is part of webpage content and not the URL.

There are many more commands to use google smartly. Find them here.

These can be very useful to find hackable pages. In the upcoming series on SQL injection , the importance of these commands will be seen.

How to make a bootable USB drive with UNetbootin

There are certain times you need to use an Operating System but you don’t want to overwrite you existing OS or make your machine slow by going for a parallel boot option.

In such a case the best option is to use a bootable USB drive.
All you need to do is set your first preference to USB drive/HDD in the BIOS setup. Insert a bootable USB drive and viola! Your computer runs at the same fast speed and there’s a new OS in the machine without even installing it!

Its probably the easiest thing to do in a computer other than double click the MyComputer shortcut on your desktop.

I will guide you through the steps with screenshots.

Pre-requisites:

1. UNetbootin

2. A USB drive big enough to hold the OS you need. In my case I need a 4GB drive for Backtrack 5 R3.

Step 1: Download UNetbootin here .Its not a large file. 4.6 MB.

Step 2:Connect your USB drive to the computer.

Step 3: Run UNetbootin from wherever you have saved it.

This is what you will see:

Step 4: The way I go about it, I use the diskimage method. Click on the radio button next to Diskimage. Next, click the ellipsis to browse and put the ISO file of your OS here. Choose the USB drive which has to be made bootable too.Looks like this once you’ve loaded the ISO file’s path and chosen the drive:

Step 5: Press OK and wait a little while. The setup will say you’re good to go soon.

Step 6: Shut down your computer,restart it, press F12 or whatever key it is that opens the BIOS setup (Different key for different computers, its generally F12).

Step 7: Go to boot options in the setup and get USB HDD to the top in the preference column.

Step 8: Save and exit.

Step 9: Connect your USB drive, shutdown the computer and restart it with the USB connected.

The bootable drive now works perfectly.

I have tried to explain each step and what goes with it for a clearer understanding of how this works. There are no screenshots, just a video at the end. Most of you will want to just jump to the video and be done with. Frankly, it’ll tell you what to do to hack an access point not how to. So I’d advise you to go through the text too. It’s not boring I promise

Lets first understand how wireless networks work. In case of a wired connection, it is the job of the router to send relevant information to the computers.

Suppose 5 computers are connected through a wired connection.

Computer 1 wants to access facebook, Computer 2 wants google.

The router sends data packets(IVs-Initialisation Vectors) that are relevant to facebook to Computer 1 and google to Computer 2.

But in case of a wireless connection this isn’t possible. In extremely simple terms, any information requested by a number of computers from a wireless router is simply thrown out into the air and caught by whichever computer needs it.

Now in the same 5 computer example, Computer 1 will recieve data packets from facebook as well as google but since it needs only facebook, it dumps packets coming from google.

Similarly Computer 2 keeps google and throws facebook.

In WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), each data packet has a part of the WiFi access point password in them(sub pass key). What is our job?

We pull out the different sub passkeys from a sufficient number of data packets apply permutations and combinations and find the right password.

We need access to the access point’s data packets to have the sub-passkeys.

By default, the computer keeps only those packets that are relevant to its request when connected to a network and receiving packets.

There are basically seven modes in which your computer can be wirelessly connected to a network.We need something that helps us keep as many packets as possible.

The default mode will definitely not allow this as it dumps packets the computer hasn’t asked for.

However, in promiscuous mode, the computer may keep all packets sent to it including information other computers asked for .The drawback is that we still need to be connected to the network in this mode to receive all packets. We are trying to hack this network, we aren’t connected to it yet!

The solution is monitor mode. This mode enables us to receive all packets from all wireless access points within range while being connected to just a single one of them.When we activate monitor mode, our computer begins to receive data packets from all access points.

Lets get to hacking the network.

So the steps finally,

Step 1:

We type airmon-ng to check which interfaces are up and running in the computer.

Step 2:

We see wlan0 is up. This is our default interface on the default mode. Let’s start monitor mode on this. Type in airmon-ng start wlan0

Step 3:

Type in airmon-ng again . We now see a new interface: mon0 . This kids, is the monitor mode.

Step 4:

Well since hacking is illegal and all, we gotta hide right. There is no IP here as we aren’t connected to the network we are hacking. The only way we can be traced is through our Mac Address. Not a problem. As we hackers here in India say ,Backtrack Zindabad We can easily change our Mac Address. Type in the following sequence of commands:

ifconfig mon0 down

macchanger -m 00:11:22:33:44:55 mon0

ifconfig mon0 up

The number 00:11:22:33:44:55 is a hexadecimal code that represents your spoofed Mac Address. This can be any value in the same format. It can have digits from 0-9 and letters from A-F.

Step 5:

Starting off on the real hacking ( )

We gotta sniff what networks are available to hack.

Type in airodump-ng mon0 . This gives us all the networks/ access points available.

Step 6:

Choose a network, note down two things- the channel its running on and its bssid.

Next, we have to specifically sniff the network we want to crack. Here’s what you type in:

airodump-ng -c [Number] -w[String] –bssid[HexaDecimal] mon0

Now it gets a little complex. This particular command has various parameters associated with it.

-c [Number] —————— Specifies the channel the network is on. You will see the channel when you run the simple airodump command.

-w [String] ——————– Here you specify a filename in place of the string(I have specified WEP). This is the file that stores all the hacking you’re going to do and ultimately be cracked to tell you the password.

–bssid [Hexadecimal]——-This is where you specify the mac address of the router you are about to hack.

mon0—————————Almost all commands end with mon0 now since this is the interface you want to work with(Monitor Mode).

Step 7:

This gives you a list of the devices connected to the Access point we are cracking. Also it gives you a lot of other stuff that is useless for now except the #data column . You need this column to reach a value of 20000-30000 before you can really do something.

Step 8:

Why do we need 20-30k data packets? So we have enough data packets/IVs to apply combinations to and find the passkey.

Now we have two options. Wait it out . Hope someone has put a movie to download through uTorrent or some one is streaming a really long YouTube video.

Or.. OR,

We could do something hacker like to increase the data flow

Personally, I think its cool to do hacker things.

So here’s what we do, We make the router believe we are connected to it by hitting it with a fakeauth attack:

aireplay -1 0 -a [bssid of ap being cracked] -h [Your Computer’s Fake Mac] mon0 (open a new terminal/konsole/terminator window for this, let the airodump-ng run)

This makes the router momentarily believe that we are part of its privileged few. We take advantage of that to make it talk to us a lot(send data packets). Remember how your dad was real patient with you when you asked what a particular button in the car did 50 times? He told you each time as though it was the most normal thing in the world. Well a router is probably 64536 times more patient. We ask it to tell us our IP again and again and it tells us. Giving us vital IVs.

Step 9:

Here’s how:

aireplay-ng -3 -b[bssid of ap being cracked] -h [Your Computer’s Fake Mac] mon0

This gives a hell lot of IVs.

STEP JUDGEMENT DAY(Step 10 was just too mainstream)

Well, if you followed Sensei’s instructions to the word and were patient, Here’s your reward.

If not, well here it is but won’t work so no point. Anyway,

KAAAAMEEEEHAAAAAMEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Type this in :

aircrack-ng -b[bssid of ap being cracked] Filename-01.cap

As soon as you press enter, duck and roll to your left. Stand up, Do 50 squats. Now, take a peep at the screen.It will take approximately the amount of time it takes for the squats to hurt you for aircrack to crack your .cap file.You’ll see a wifi password.

Yeah. Free Surfing, No parental restrictions, No Bandwidth Tensions. If only it were legal to hack. Sigh.
