As you know MIT is the top technical institute of the world,its open courses also are the best and won't disappoint you.It does not have "interacting with others" feature.It has source that's all.You can download all videos and can study on your own.These lectures are the lectures taught in MIT,even it provides information about in which semester it was taught.So you will have original learning experience as in college.

KHAN ACADEMY:
It is also the best resource site having lot of free video lectures.Site's navigation is best of all.It is also preferred the most by students around world.It provides lectures which are divided into lessons which will be useful for revision.

COURSERA:

                  Its impact on e-learning is huge.It is used by masses today and continuously growing day-by-day.It coordinates all open courses provided by top universities and institutes across the globe.It also provides certificate for successful completion of courses.Courses have timing,so you should keep track of your preferred courses regularly.It's signature track course's certificates have good value and have credits.Coursera is trying to increase the value of its certificates these days.So join coursera today itself.

EDX:
   This website provides courses from prestigious institutes around the world such as MIT,Harvard,Berkeley,etc.,In this website you have to strictly adhere to class timetable and assignments.More like an class from home.It provides best courses of all sites.

OPEN YALE COURSES:
   Open yale courses offers great variety of subjects.You can download videos or watch online.PDF and lecture notes are also available which are so helpful.Here also videos are divided into chapters.No need to signup to take course like other websites.You can easily download the lectures.

YOUTUBE EDU:
               Youtube most viewed video site also have great deal of lectures uploaded by huge universities around the globe.Videos are categorized into various topic,still searching the best lectures would be difficult job for learner.Neverthless it is the huge resource any learner would need.

WHAT IS TECHNORATI AND HOW TO USE IT?

So what is Technorati?

Technorati is actually a search engine just like Google,Yahoo but primarily a search engine of Blogs that have RSS feed and have been claimed on Technorati.

What is Technorati's use?

Technorati is a great source of information like all search engines but mainly based on blogs.

If you want to search for some valuable information for research,project Technorati is for you.Since blogs are being approved(claimed) by Technorati spam blogs or blogs which have no useful information won't be there in Technorati which according to me is the main advantage of Technorati and time saver for us.

note: no spam blogs in Technorati

For a blogger:

For a blogger,there are great advantages of Technorati, where your has to be there just like Google,Yahoo,Bing,etc.,

It should be noted that Technorati has high page rank of 8 .So backlinks from Technorati are highly useful for your site.If you are new to blogging,traffic from Technorati will be helpful to build your audience.

So you have to make your site listed on Technorati's blogger directories. For that you have to claim your blog in Technorati(see here for how to claim your blog in Technorati )

TECHNORATI SIGN UP:

First thing you have to do is sign up
Fill in the details
After sign up,activation link will be sent to your mail.Click that link to get your account activated in Technorati.
It's best to write few words in bio as it will show your professionalism.

Now,Claiming Your Blog :
Requirements: Your blog url and feed url.

To claim your blog in Technorati, go to your profile.

At the bottom of the page, enter your blog url in the box you see as below.

Click "Claim" button.
In next page you have give details about your blog or site like your blog's description and categories of your blog.

Then give your RSS feed url.
Give tags suitable for your site and choose tags with care as it determines the visibility of your blog among greater audience.You can change it later.(for more information:Technorati Tags).

Now you should get a token code by email.
Copy that code and paste it in your blog's recent post preferably in the title or at the beginning of your post.Don't forget to publish your post.
Now go to your Technorati profile page and click "check claim" button.
After they verified your post(to check that you are the owner of that blog),you will get an email regarding your claim status.It may take few minutes.Then you can delete that code in your post.

Now after some time,they will review your site and add that to appropriate directory.It may take few hours to days.

A bad king has 1000 bottles of wine. A neighboring king plots to kill the bad king, and sends a servant to poison the wine. the servant is able to poison only one of them before he is caught. The guards don't know which bottle was poisoned, but they do know that the poison is so potent that even if it was diluted 1,000,000 times, it would still be fatal. Furthermore, the effects of the poison take one month to surface. The king decides he will get some of his prisoners in his vast dungeons to drink the wine. At a minimum how many servants does he need to kill to find out the poisoned bottle of wine and will still be able to drink the rest of the wine in 5 weeks time? As an added note, he does not want to bring in 1000 of his servants as he knows there are a lot lesser number of prisoners he can bring in to begin with.

5 pirates found a treasure of 100 diamonds.They have ranking like pirate 1 leads then pirate 2,..so on.pirate 1 proposes idea to share the diamonds and everyone will vote for it(including himself).If 50% or more vote for it,diamonds will be shared that way,otherwise he will be killed and process will continue with remaining pirates.

As the pirates are cruel,if he would get same number of diamonds if he voted or against the idea,he will vote against it and the pirate who proposed it would be killed.All pirates are greedy and they want to have maximum diamonds.

Assume all pirates are equally greedy,intelligent,and do not wish to die.What will happen?

Person 1 will switch on all bulbs.Person 2 will operate on all even number bulbs.person 5 will operate on all bulbs which are multiple of 5.

Lets take bulb 24.which will be operated by (1&2),(3&4),(6&8),(12&24) all numbers are in pair.so if one person switched on,the other one will switch it off.So its final stage will be switch off.

Take this number 64(8^2),it will be operated by (1&2),(4&8),(16&32),(64) so 64 does not have pair to switch the bulb off atlast.so it will remain switched on finally.

This holds true for all square numbers(1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100).
so the answer is 10 bulbs

Solution to puzzle 8:weight machine puzzle

I measure 1kg with 1 and instead of choose 2 i pick 3.so now i can measure 2kg by placing 1 along with 2 in one side and 3 in another side.I can measure 4kg by placing 1,3 on one side and 4 on another side.

Now to measure 5kg intead of picking 5,pick the maximum number like a-4=5,a=9

S o now you can measure upto 13kg (eg:5=9-4,6=9-3,...12=9+3,13=9+4)
To measure 14 pick b-14=13 which gives b= 27.Now you can measure upto 40kg.To measure 41kg pick b-41=40 which gives b=81

so series is like 3^0,3^1,3^2,...
Since weights are within 1000kg minimum number of weights you can pick is 7.which are 1,3,9,27,81,242,729.
