Hi again it is Wednesday. I hope everyone is feeling well today. I thought I would share with you some useless facts about insects for todays blog topic. So here we go.....

The penis of a male spider is located in the end of one of its legs.
Ants have slaves from other conquered ant tribes.
Mosquitoes are attracted to the colour blue.
Poisonous snakes kill less people worldwide then the honey bee does.
The ant has the largest brain in proportion to its body size then any other animal.
A cockroach can survive a couple of weeks with its head cut off.
Termites are part of the cockroach family.
The female bee is the only bee that works in the hive. The male bee job is just to fertilize the queen bee.
A dragon fly only lives for 24 hours.
Insects eat 1/3 of the earths food crop each year.
There are 200 million insects for each human.
Mayflies only live one day.
A moth does not have a stomach.

Scientists have preformed brain surgery on cockroaches

Hi there again it is Thursday and one more day until the weekend. We have been having nice weather here in Edmonton lately. I hope the weather has been nice from where ever you reside. I see if I can find you some useless fact for today. Here we go......

That's right it is monday again. I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. Here is some useless Monday facts you do not really need to no about.

1. Monday got it's name from the moon.

2. There is a Superman picture in every episode of Seinfeld

3. Elephants can not jump

4. Only one person in 2 billion will live to be 116 or older.

5. The heart of a shrimp is in it's head.

Useless Halloween Facts

Seeing how it is Halloween I thought I would share with you some useless Halloween Facts.

Black and Orange are Halloween colours because black comes from darkness and death. Orange comes from the Fall Harvest.

On Halloween, Irish peasants would beg the rich for some thing to eat. If the rich refused they would have a practical joke played on them. So in order for the rich not to be tricked they would hand out candy or fruit. Thus turning into trick or treat.

Hi there again. Do you ever wonder why we need so many facts. Do we need them to give somebody a job? Or is the fact humans just need or want to know about so many useless things. I have always wonder this growing up and said to myself WHY do I need to know this fact. I guess it it part of life to learn some facts about something only to forget about them later in life. I think we need facts to fill useful in our everyday lives even if the facts we need are useless facts. What do you think? I don't have to much more to say today. Hi there I am new to all this blogging stuff and as you can tell my blog is still being constructed. I could not really think up a name for this blog so this is the name I came up with for now. Do you ever wonder why we spend so much time on computers. I guess a computer is easier to talk to then talking to some people. I just thought I should put something on my page instead of leaving it empty.
