Not so long ago we discussed the first Rihanna’s pictures for a new advertising campaign of the Armani brand, and now a new portion of photographs has appeared.
And it seems that the latest photo session promises to repeat the success of its predecessor. RiRi does not even think about moving away from the image of a sex bomb and eagerly demonstrates her audacious look as well as her naked body, barely covered with clothes.

The fans of the brand have grown in number after the first collaboration with the famous singer, and now their number will only increase. At least due to Rihanna‘s fans.

Vera Wang to Create a Suit Collection For Men

In the nearest future, not only women, but men as well, will be able to evaluate the elegance of collections by Vera Wang. Having gained international fame due to luxurious wedding dresses, the American designer is going to launch a collection of evening suits and tuxedos for men.
The production of suit collections for men by Vera Wang will be run by The Men’s Wearhouse Inc., the company that makes tuxedos for Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.
The first collection of men’s clothing, which will be called Black by Vera Wang, will appear on sale in late spring 2012. Unlike the collections of the designer’s wedding dresses, tuxedos for the groom and wedding guests can be both bought and rented, and the price of the models will start from a rather modest sum of $220.

Paris Fashion Week Versace

It has finally happened: Paris Fashion Week has started. The Versace Fashion House was one of the first to present the couture collection to the audience.
For the first time in the past eight years, Donatella Versace presented haute models, though previously she had been focusing her talents on prêt-a-porter lines.

The collection has turned out small, but solid and very effective. Laconic silhouettes of most items are more than compensated by the abundance of lace, embroidery, and decorative details.

Unlike most designers, the younger sister of the great Gianni Versace, is not afraid of bright colors. Although the gray-beige color is at the basis of her collection, it also contains dresses of “citrus” colors, such as lemon yellow, orange, and lime green.

Donatella continues to experiment with “glamorous” Futurism. Minimalist dresses, high-waisted shorts and jackets are easily turned into art objects with the help of well-developed details, including the use of metallic elements in corsets and other components of the image.

Paris Fashion Week 2012

Over the past few years, Paris Fashion Week has changed a lot. The previous shows resembled theatrical performances, and the presented models looked like art objects. Now, the collections are more utilitarian, and the shows themselves… are less dramatic.
That is why Karl Lagerfeld has decided that the Chanel haute couture should be sold instead of being proudly displayed in the showcases of museums. The entire first part of the collection was presented on the catwalk by mannequin models, dressed in the classic clothes of the Fashion House: knee-length sheath dresses, costumes with traditional tweed jackets, slacks and silk blouses… Everything was done in the spirit of Mademoiselle Coco, but it looked somehow casual and everything but new.

However, the show gradually changed for the better, and there appeared the first evening dresses, embroidered with sequins, beads, and decorated with cut-outs and printed colors.

Using the classic silhouettes of the brand (many people like Chanel for conservatism and loyalty to the principles of the founder of the brand), Kaiser Karl gives them a modern breath, using shiny fabrics, an abundance of sequins, pearls and large gems.

The color palette of the collection is rather dull and dominated by dark blue and deep purple hues that Lagerfeld mixed with silver-gray, milk and lavender tones. The images are completed by long earrings with colored gems, tiny hats with flowers, cameos and brooches, as well as high-heeled shoes with straps around the ankle. We are amazed! And you?

At first sight, the color palette of the pre-fall collection is restrained. Last year, there was a conflict with the organizers of the Milan Fashion Week, who did not want to fit in with the general terms, and their Fashion Week slightly overlapped in time the previous Fashion Week in Paris. The models did not manage to work at the scheduled time.
In 2012, the schedule is as follows:
• September 6-13 – New York Fashion Week
• September 14-18 – London Fashion Week
• September 18-25 – Milan Fashion Week
• September 25 – October 2- Paris Fashion Week

Tracy Morgan Rushed to Hospital

Tracy Morgan has been hospitalised after collapsing at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday (22.01.12).
The '30 Rock' star was rushed to the Park City Medical Center in Park City, Utah after he passed out following the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards dinner, where he accepted the Spotlight Initiative Award, with his representative blaming "altitude and exhaustion".
It had been reported that the 43-year-old actor seemed out of control at dinner, where he is said to have been shouting and falling over but a spokeswoman for the hospital said no drugs or alcohol were found in his system.

Tracy - who is diabetic and received a kidney transplant two years ago - is a recovering alcoholic who was arrested twice for driving under the influence in 2005 and 2006.
Along with being honoured for the award, Tracy also attended a screening of his latest movie 'Predisposed' in which he stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Melissa Leo.
