I want to thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I am still trying to get my Mom's apartment cleaned up. My brother lives in a different State so it is left mostly to me.
I have a few more weeks of work ahead of me.

Beaded Pens

This is a sample of the beaded pens I will have at my class on September 16.

Some pens have stampin' up silver beads. Others are stamped and then covered with clear beads. Some have stamped images on the inside of the barrel and crystal beads over the barrel.

These will make great stocking stuffers for Christmas or gifts for a teacher along with a box filled with handmade stamped cards.

In September's class besides making the beaded pens we will

be learning to make a dahlia. It is made with punched circles.

DIE CUTTING NIGHT Tuesday October 7

This will be a fun night of sharing. Have your Sizzix, Quick Kuts or any other die cut machine and all your different dies and we can all spend the night chatting and cutting.
If you don't have a die cut machine you can use mine. It's all about sharing.

There is No Cost just bring all your own cardstock or whatever else you would like to cut.

Let me know if you are coming so I can make enough space for all the machines.

This should be a great night.

This is my first "mini clipboard". I haven't decorated it yet but will work on that. Can you figure out what it is made from???

It is a sample tile for counter tops that you get from your local hardware store.

This can be made into a key chain or add a magnet. Do you have any other ideas for us? Let us know........

The first card has beads attached with Crystal Effect. This second card has squares made with my Scorpal. What a handy tool this can be.

This picture was my first attempt to make a card with the acetate/tissue technique. It didn't come out too good but it gave me a feel of how it shoud be done. I will have to work on this for a while before I give a class.

Peggy wanted to see some card ideas for Baroque Motifs so I decided to start with that set.

Summer is over and it is time to get back to business. I know I have not posted all summer.
Like everyone else, I've been busy with family happenings.
Hope everyone had a great summer and are now in the mood to get back to card making.

Iris Folding ....... can't stop !

Ever since the class on iris folding I have used every free moment I had to do iris folding.
The class was a great success. Pauline was a wonderful teacher and the "students" were so attentive that you could hear a pin drop. Everyone was concentrating so much on their projects even my husband noticed how quiet it was.

I believe everyone who was there had a great time.

The New Stampshires Event 2008 Saturday, May 3, 2008 We're going Boho West!

The demonstrator event which was held Saturday was a blast! I met some great demonstrators all around the state. We had a guest speaker, had some demonstrations of new techniques and made some make n' takes. It was a very informative day and I have some new projects that I can't wait to show you. There was a wonderful swap and we even voted for our favorite card.
There were displays of cards from some of the demonstrators which I took many pictures.
I will share with you all the swap cards I got which are all wonderful and show some of the pictures I took that day.

Can't wait to get together with my customers!!!!
