Bachchan Pandey is an upcoming action-comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

On Wednesday, Kriti Sanon began shooting for the film. Being on the set of Sajid Nadiadwala's production made her nostalgic as he had launched her in B-Town with Heropanti (2014).

Farhad Samji's directorial venture, starring Akshay Kumar, rolled in Jaisalmer amid strict safety precautions.The makers shared pictures of the unit hands dressed in PPE suits to ensure the shoot progresses without any hitches in the new normal.

In Bachchan Pandey, Akshay plays a gangster who aspires to be an actor, while Kriti plays a journalist who wishes to be a director. The film also stars Arshad Warsi who plays the role of Akshay Kumar's friend.

Besides this film, Akshay Kumar's future line-up of films includes Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Sooryavanshi and a spy thriller titled Bell Bottom directed by Ranjit Tiwari. While Akshay romances Katrina Kaif in Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead.

Rahul Roy discharged from hospital, says, 'Still a long journey for full recovery'

Rahul Roy, who suffered a brain stroke last year, on Thursday said he is back home from the hospital but it is "still a long journey" to full recovery. The Aashiqui star was admitted to the intensive care unit of Nanavati Hospital on November 27 after he arrived from a shoot in Kargil.

Last month, the 52-year-old actor was shifted to Wockhardt Hospitals, where he underwent angiography of the brain and heart.

Roy thanked his well-wishers for their best wishes on Instagram.

"I am back home after a long treatment in the hospital. I am recovering and it''s still a long journey for full recovery," he wrote alongside a photo of him with his sister Priyanka Roy and brother-in-law Romeer Sen.

"Today I would like to thank everyone who stood by me all this while, Rohit my brother, my sister and best friend Priyanka, my brother-in-law Romeer along with my friends Aditi Govitrikar, Dr Huz, Zahid, Ashwini Kumar, Azhar, Shruti Dwivedi, Suchitra Pillai and all my friends for praying for me," he added.

According to Sen, Roy was discharged from hospital on Wednesday.

"He is at home and doing well. But he will have to take speech and physiotherapy sessions for six to eight months, it can be more or less depending on his recovery," Sen told PTI.

Roy made his Bollywood debut in the Mahesh Bhatt-directed musical romance hit Aashiqui in 1990 and went on to work with the filmmaker on movies like Junoon and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee.

The actor also won the first season of the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss in 2006.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan will soon be seen in an intense role in Dhamaka. He will be seen playing the role of a journalist who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in Mumbai. The film is being directed by Ram Madhvani.

He will also be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also stars Kiara Advani. It takes on from the title of the 2007 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Vidya Balan and Ameesha Patel.

Kareena Kapoor Khan's bestie Malaika Arora dotes on Taimur Ali Khan, so can her beau Arjun Kapoor be far behind? On Wednesday, Kareena posted a glimpse of what Uncle Arjun had sent Tim — a kids hamper attached with balloons.

Through her Instagram stories, Kareena shared a glimpse of the hamper, and wrote, "Tim is spoilt for choice... And so are we. Thank you @arjunkapoor for these smashing goodies." They were two separate hampers, one decorated with flowers, and the other attached with balloons.

In November, when she and Taimur were visiting Saif Ali Khan in Dalhousie on the set of Bhoot Police, co-star Arjun turned official photographer for Tim. He was happy to capture his cute antics.

Kareena had shared Taimur Ali Khan's photo feasting on French Fries. The picture showed Taimur seated with a plate full of french fries in one hand while clutching on to a French Fry in his other hand.

Zeenat Aman to be back on screen with Margaon: The Closed File

Last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat (2019), Zeenat Aman will be back on screen in Margaon: The Closed File. Kapil Kaustubh Sharma's murder mystery sees her play an Anglo-Indian. "It's a complex and unconventional character. I have grown up on Agatha Christie's stories. The film will be a tribute to her genre of work," says Sharma.

Last year, Aman was seen as Kasturba Gandhi in the English play, Dearest Bapu, Love Kasturba. The veteran actor is keen to take on assignments, which are a far cry from her Bollywood image. The veteran actress in an interview last year talked about her journey in the film industry and how fortunate she was to work with some wonderful directors. "As an actor, I have had an iconic journey and was fortunate enough to have worked with some really wonderful directors. I was delighted when Ashutosh Gowariker offered me the role of Sakina Begum," Zeenat Aman had said to IANS.

Zeenat Aman, during the peak of her career, was regarded as the most bewitching performer in Hindi Cinema, someone who could charm anyone merely with her eyes. Success came in the form of Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. And over the last few years, she still continues to be seen and heard with her performances. In 2017, she starred in the web series, Love Life and Screw Ups. And in 2019, we also saw her in Ashutosh Gowariker's ambitious period drama, Panipat.

But her greatest and most memorable roles in her illustrious career were Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Qurbani. There's an adage that goes like there's no alternative to the best. There have been tons of newcomers in the last four decades, but none of the actresses, even some of the most established ones, can come close to replicating the beauty and charm of Zeenat Aman.

After making her Bollywood debut in Anubhav Sinha's production Zid (2014), which proved to be a dud, Seerat Kapoor moved South. She was seen in Telugu films, including Krishna and His Leela (2020).

The Krishna And His Leela actress, Seerat Kapoor has carved her unique mark in the south film industry. Starting as a dance choreographer on the sets of Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar, she went on to make her own place in acting with her debut film Run Raja Run and later, delivered a few hits in the Telugu industry. She was last seen in Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma, which starred Siddhu Jonnalagadda.

Now, she is making her comeback to Hindi films. She features in the murder mystery Maarich starring Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor, who is also the producer. Considering several South actors are moving to Bollywood, she is trying her luck too.

On Irrfan Khan's birth anniversary, son Babil shares a throwback video and it's beyond adorable

Sharing a video of his late father Irrfan Khan struggling with a video call, Babil Khan on Thursday gave a shoutout to all "technologically inept parents" on the occasion of his father's 54th birth anniversary.

He marked the special occasion by sharing the old family video on Instagram where Irrfan, his wife Sutapa, and their younger son Ayan are seen trying to video call Babil.

Both Irrfan and Sutapa are seen calling out Babil's name, while Ayan is seen laughing as the connection of the call seems to be lost and yet Irrfan and Sutapa kept calling Babil's name. "Babil... we miss him (Babil)," the late 'Hindi Medium' actor said in the video.

Khan's son penned an emotional caption on his father's birth anniversary remembering how he never identified with institutions like "birthday celebrations."

"You never identified with institutions such as contractual marriage and birthday celebrations. Perhaps, that is why I don't remember anyone's birthdays because you never remembered mine and never encouraged me to remember yours," he wrote in the caption.

"It was just normal to us what seemed absurd from the outside, we celebrated everyday (bringing personal experiential authenticity to the cliche)," he added.

Babil then shared how he could not forget his father's birthday this year as it marks his first birthday after his demise and gave a shoutout to all "technologically inept parents." "On the occasion, Mamma would have to remind us both; but this time I could not forget yours if I tried," he wrote.

"It's your birthday Baba. Shoutout to all the technologically inept parents, notice that they did not finish saying that they miss me," he added.

The 'Maqbool,' actor breathed his last on April 29 last year after his two-year-long battle with a rare cancer.

Pooja Bhatt on Wednesday reacted to the gruesome incident of the alleged gangrape and murder of a 50-year-old woman in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken cognisance of media reports on the incident. As per the reports, the crime took place when the woman had gone to a temple to offer prayers.

Gauahar Khan: I am clear that I won't do bold scenes for the heck of it

Gauahar Khan is known for films like Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Ishaqzaade, and Fever. She even participated in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013. For the uninitiated, Gauahar tied the knot with Zaid Darbar on December 25 and fans couldn't get enough of her gorgeous wedding pictures that she lovingly shared with them on her social media account.

Over two weeks later, she has spoken to Hindustan Times about declining offers and making the decision not to do bold scenes for the sake of it. She said, "I am clear that I won't do such scenes for the heck of it. My job as an actor is to deliver and do justice to the character I am portraying. But yes, I do have my lines drawn, especially when it comes to the kind of content I want to associate with. I'll not be crossing the line just for the need of wanting to be a part of the show."

Talking about turning down the roles that were offered to her, Khan revealed, "All those roles that came to me, I felt they weren't something which I could deliver to with all my heart. So, I had to say no to them, irrespective of how big the project was. As an artiste, I know I am supposed to deliver to the audience with complete conviction, but then there are certain things like being explicit or too bold on screen, which I am not at all comfortable doing. Hence, I have made my choice accordingly."

She added, "I believe there are ways to aesthetically show things, and that's all I can do as an actor. There's a lot more than just bold stuff that happens on the web and I am keen on exploring that. And I am more than ready to wait until a good role comes my way."

Seema Khan on nepotism: Actors who hailed from big film families haven't made it, including my own husband

Fashion designer and wife of actor-producer Sohail Khan, Seema Khan was recently seen in Netflix show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. The show revolved around the lives of Bollywood wives with Seema Khan being one of them.

In a recent interview, Seema talked about the ongoing debate on nepotism and will she be okay with her sons getting into acting. Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said, "Talent has to speak. We have actors in the industry, who’ve hailed from big families, who haven't made it, including my own husband. Nepotism doesn't mean you’re going to make it. At the end of the day, you've to be sincere, keep trying. It applies to every field in life. That's the mantra I go by too, and told my son as well, whatever he does."

She also talked about being on-screen. "When I decided to do this show, I was sure that whatever I do, I’ll do 100 per cent and won’t make anything up. I’m not an actress and have never faced the camera in my life. It was definitely a little daunting. The only thing was I wasn’t going to be insensitive to anyone," she said.

“I will just say this much, because it’s out there, that whatever you see in the show, is the absolute truth. It is what it is, that’s all I want to say about that", she added.

Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives revolved around the day-to-day lives of Bollywood wives Maheep Kapoor (wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor), Seema Khan (wife of Sohail Khan), Bhavana Pandey (Chunky Panday's wife and Ananya Panday's mother), and Neelam Kothari (who is married to Sameer Soni), who have been friends for 25 years. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri make a cameo.

Asked if she found it worrisome to give out so much about her life for public consumption, Seema told IANS: "I never looked at it that way. We did a pilot, so I had a bit of a teaser as to what was to come, and none of this show is scripted. The crew became great friends with all of us and I developed a certain comfort level with them."

"Even when I talked in my video diaries it was like I was talking to a friend. I was never prepared for anything. Everything was spontaneous. I didn't have any opportunity to be nervous as far as the cameras coming into my home was concerned. They have done it aesthetically. They were sensitive towards us," she added.

Seema says that she felt like a child. "I was protected by all of them. The whole team has been all protective for us."

Mrunal Thakur: Always landed parts fair and square

Fresh off her recently completed film Jersey, Mrunal Thakur finds herself quizzed about why almost all her films are opposite stars. Finding herself in a conflicted situation, the actor reasons aloud, "When I was younger and new to the industry, I was told to do more films with superstars. Now I am being accused of that very thing. I don't function as per the star system of the industry. I have always gone purely by the script. I have auditioned and landed my parts fair and square."

Thakur elaborates that on one hand, she is featuring opposite Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar in Jersey and Toofan respectively, and on the other hand she will be starring with Abhimanyu Dassani in Aankh Micholi and Ishaan Khatter and Priyanshu Painyuli in Pippa.

She explains, "There are these unsubstantiated industry norms that I have worked hard to defy. Every time a script comes to me, I ask myself — how does this help me as an actor? I am well-aware that one can't go far merely leaning on superstars, these days. You need to have the merit to rub shoulders with the vast plethora of talent out there. I am glad that I am working as an actor now when the star system is changing to give way to talented people. I have always believed that any actor is as good as their stories and I am working on choosing well."

Amitabh Bachchan recently visited Ladakh in minus 33 degree weather and shared a photo from the trip. The photo left his fans and social media followers concerned about the veteran actor's health.

"Hats off to your energy levels. But venturing in such weather conditions can take a toll on your health. Be careful," suggested another fan.

Renee Sen: She doesn't want me to have it easy

A star kid's Bollywood launch is surrounded by razzmatazz and an aggressive promotional campaign. Which is why it's refreshing to see Renee Sen make her acting debut with Suttabaazi while Sushmita Sen takes a backseat, thus teaching her daughter the importance of making it on her own. Renee says it was a family decision that her actor-mother wouldn't be rallying behind her debut film.

"When she started off as an 18-year-old, she did everything on her own. She doesn't want me to have it easy so that I value everything more. I appreciate that things aren't handed to me on a silver platter. I am privileged enough being her daughter; that would've made me absolutely handicapped," says the debutant actor, the perks of being a star kid not lost on her.

Suttabaazi, which drops on Disney+Hotstar on January 10, sees Renee play a rebellious teenager, navigating lockdown life with her conservative parents. Quiz her on why she opted for a short film instead of a full-length feature, and she reasons, "I am not sure I have enough merit to shoulder a feature film yet. I got this film on my own worth; I auditioned and landed the part. I don't want to take my privilege for granted."

Haathi Mere Saathi: Rana Daggubati to start 2021 on a big note

Haathi Mere Saathi is an upcoming drama film starring Rana Daggubati, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Zoya Hussain, Pulkit Samrat. The movie has been shot in three different languages. The highly anticipated drama will star Rana Daggubati in all three titles with Vishnu Vishal in Kaadan in Tamil and Aranya in Telugu respectively. In Hindi, Haathi Mere Saathi will feature Pulkit Samrat as the parallel lead.

Also starring talented actresses Shreya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in important roles Haathi Mere Saathi shall premiere on 26 March, 2021 in theatres. The release date is just a couple months away and the ensemble cast has the audiences excited.

Will bring one of the films during Holi, say makers of Sooryavanshi and 83

With the new year, come new plans. As we turned the calendar to 2021, the makers of Sooryavanshi and 83 have begun charting the way forward for the two Bollywood biggies, which have been waiting in the wings for a theatrical outing for the past 10 months. The makers are planning to release one of the event movies over the Holi weekend.

83 were to originally release in 2020 summer

Shibasish Sarkar, chief executive officer, Reliance Entertainment group, which has bankrolled the films, says, "The situation in the country is improving as is the economy, so the mood is largely positive. A section of people headed to theatres to watch Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984. That was an encouraging sign. So, now, we are looking at bringing one of the films in the third week of March, during Holi. We have yet to decide on the film though." He is hopeful that with the vaccine roll-out around the corner, the situation will further improve. "These are event films that would have made Rs 300 crore under normal circumstances, so we can't play around with them. We need to be certain of the situation."

Master hits screens on January 13

Come March, it will be exactly a year to the Akshay Kumar-starrer that was originally planned as a Gudi Padwa 2020 offering. "We were supposed to release Sooryavanshi on March 24, and 83 in April. If we follow the same sequence, Sooryavanshi should come first. That said, we are discussing the nitty-gritty."

Sarkar reveals that Vijay's Tamil release, Master, will serve as a precursor to help them gauge the market. Following the star's meeting with Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in December, the Tamil Nadu government permitted 100 per cent occupancy in theatres — a move that has been widely criticised by the frontline workers as well as public. On Wednesday, the Centre directed Tamil Nadu government to revoke its order, stating that it diluted the guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. "We are waiting for the January 13 release. There are four to five big releases in Tamil and Telugu cinema. There is a huge amount of confidence in the makers and the audience," reasons Sarkar.

Kaagaz screening was attended by director Satish Kaushik's industry friends amidst COVID-19 situation

Ever since the release of its trailer, there's been a lot of speculation around filmmaker Satish Kaushik's new directorial venture, Kaagaz. And the screening of the film garnered the same kind of response. Held amidst a lot of preventative measures, the attendees of the screening had to undergo temperature check, saturation check on oximeter and a body screening at the sanitisation booth.

A source says, "Friends and colleagues of veteran filmmaker Kaushik came for the screening, including the likes of Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar, producer Ankur Garg, and Dr Jayantilal Gada and Ramesh Taurani.

Apart from them, Mita Vashishth who is also acting in the film, Padmini & Tutu Sharma , producer Anand Pandit, writer-director Roomi Jaffery , director Feroz Khan, Pulkit Samrat , Ruslaan Mumtaz , Govind Namdeo , Anang Desai and Director Ashok Pandit were also present.

Everyone is believed to have really loved and praised the film and spoke about it."

There was a great arrangement for the food for the attendees and the spread is believed to be elaborate.

Starring Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role, Kaagaz is presented by Salman Khan Films with Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production and produced by Salma Khan, Nishant Kaushik, and Vikas Malu. The story has been conceptualised and directed by Kaushik.

Maneesh Sharma: Any good film, will find its audience in theatres post the pandemic

2020 has thrown a lot of soul-searching questions for the Indian film industry. With the pandemic changing the way people have consumed content at their homes all year round, there is a growing buzz that OTT platforms are the future and that, theatres will find it difficult to pull people in hoards like they used to. There is also a conversation that only big budget spectacles will see people to come to theatres, leaving a big question mark on whether concept films will go the digital route. We caught up with film-maker and YRF's homegrown producer Maneesh Sharma to weigh in on this debate.

Maneesh says, "I'm of the opinion that people will come back to the cinemas once the pandemic subsides. There seems to be a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel. Things were looking a little endless a month back but now we can still put an approximate time frame that things will become ok, things should be fairly in control. So, people will come back to the theatres and want to have that immersive experience."

Maneesh's stance is completely in-keeping the position that Yash Raj Films has taken during the pandemic. The biggest production house of India, helmed by Aditya Chopra, decided to not release his films on digital and has managed to stick to this decision despite having big films like Bunty Aur Babli 2, Shamshera and Jayeshbhai Jordaar ready to release.

Maneesh says, "I think, any good film, will find its audience in theatres. I don't think we can define if by saying that if it's a big budget film, people will come, and if it's a small film, people won't. If it's a comedy, people will come and if it's a drama, they won't. I don't think people will decide to come to theatres basis the genre. They will decide to come basis what experience the film is offering. So, the films will have to be good and people will come."

Maneesh is celebrating his birthday with his family in Delhi today. He will return to Mumbai soon to resume working on his hush-hush next. The film-maker, who has directed films like Band Baaja Baarat, Shudh Desi Romance, Fan, feels that, for Indians, going to cinema with friends, families and loved ones is intrinsic to our culture.

"People go to cinemas during festivals, during big holidays. Cinema and celebrations are somehow linked together in our country and I do think that any good film will rekindle that feeling for us all. We have an extremely social culture and going to a cinema plays a very important role. I think if a film is attractive to them, people will turn up at the theatres. I have no doubt about that," says Maneesh.

Designer Swapnil Shinde comes out as a transwoman; changes name to Saisha

Swapnil Shinde, a fashion designer who has styled Bollywood divas like Sunny Leone, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, among many others, recently came out as a transwoman. The designer shared the news on Instagram.

Here's what Saisha shared: "Here we go 2021. P.s: Saisha means a meaningful life and I plan to make mine an exceptionally meaningful one."

The post reads, "All through school and college, while the boys outside tormented me because I was different, the internal pain was far worse,” she wrote in her post. “I felt suffocated living in a reality that I knew wasn’t mine, yet one that I had to stage everyday because of societal expectations and norms. It was only in my early 20s at NIFT where I found the courage to accept my truth; I truly bloomed (sic)..."

Tusshar Kapoor: There are some films I did in the beginning that I could've avoided

Tusshar Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with Satish Kaushik's Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai in 2001 oppositie Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor is best known for films like Khakee, Kya Kool Hain Hum franchise, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Shor In The City, The Dirty Picture, Shootout At Wadala, and above all, the Golmaal series.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor talked about his journey as an actor in the Hindi film industry, the early successes, the subsequent failures, and the popularity of the Golmaal franchise. He said, "It started with Khakhee (2004), Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), then again did Shor In The City and The Dirty Picture both in 2011."

He added, "But because of Golmaal, it becomes like a brand for you. I don't have a problem with it, I am happy." When asked about the regrets in his career, he said, "I don't regret, but yes, of course, there are some films I did in the beginning of my career which I feel I could have avoided. But I did it, and I should be happy, because even the not so good experiences have taught me a lot."

He continued, "You learn that this is not something (you want to do), not the people you want to work with, and it's not a setup you would like to do again." The actor also gave his take on the coronavirus pandemic and how it has changed things for the Hindi film industry.

He stated, "Now, with COVID-19, we have the option to release films for audience there. I am grateful it's getting bigger, and there is so much growth within the industry. Different kind of movies are being made, and genres are being explored."

Renee Sen: Sushmita Sen is my mother and I am aware of the privileges

Renee Sen could be just another 21-year-old artiste who has made her debut with a 15-minute short film, but her wisdom and confidence make you do a double take. She sounds supremely upbeat about taking on the world with her craft.

You aren't surprised with those traits when you know guiding Renee is her mother Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe 1994 and Bollywood star.

Renee's rendezvous with the camera starts with "Suttebaazi", a strong and relatable story helmed by new director Kabeer Khurana.

"'Suttabaazi' is a relatable story for every household," shares Renee, adding: "The simplicity with which an important message is being conveyed of not seeking validation from the outside world is what truly attracted me. I hope everyone relates to this because it is so close to my heart."

Being the daughter of a personality like Sushmita, wouldn't it be easier to be launched for the camera the Johars or the Chopras? "Everything I am doing is based out of the fact that I want to be independent, because my mother has always encouraged that. If that means setting an example, then I couldn't be happier. But I am not consciously trying to do things differently. I am just lucky and blessed that everything is falling into place, with however independently I am doing it. I am doing it step by step. It is not a conscious decision to set an example. 'Suttabazi' is a beautiful film and I am lucky to be a part of it," shares Renee.

Will an association with the big banners happen soon? "I truly believe that a big launch will happen, yes, but with time when I am more prepared for a big launch. Right now I am taking it step by step, and slowly. Right now the only conscious decision is to be more independent."

With star kids being in the limelight from a young age, it isn't surprising to hear about them losing focus. When questioned, Renee reveals she always has her eyes on the prize.

"I can only stay focused if I am grounded. My mother reminds me to stay grounded, to keep my head on my shoulders, and work hard. That is the only advice and simplest advice, which I feel will help me build and sustain my career as an individual. So, I don't want to lose my sense of self. I will stay grounded and work hard. The rest is upto God," shares the young artiste.

"To me, Sushmita Sen is my mother and I am aware of the privileges. I am very blessed that I am her daughter but at the end of the day she is my maa. I, along with my sister, am being raised to be strong, and to have an identity of my own. She is teaching us the values she wants us to have, and I feel like I am learning from the best but, most importantly, she is my maa and I love her the most," she says.

Renee reveals that she wanted to be an actor ever since she went on the sets of her mother's films like "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kia" and "Main Hoon Na". However, she only took the passion seriously during lockdown.

"I started serious preparation during lockdown. That is when I actually got time to sit with myself, assess what I do, take the necessary steps to achieve my goals and my dreams. During lockdown, I started it," she says.

Renee's mother became the first Indian to wear the Miss Universe crown in 1994. Ever since, she has become an iconic figure in the world of fashion. Did being part of the fashion world ever entice Renee?

"Walking the ramp does excite me. I do love getting ready. I love beautiful outfits. So, yes, if I am asked, I would not say no. I am open to that opportunity as well," she says.

Ending the interview on a positive note, Renee emphasises on how it feels to be the daughter of a woman who inspires millions around the world.

"My mother being a role model to so many women is something I take pride in. I am very proud of my maa. It will only and always have a positive effect on me because I have got so much love. I really hope I earn the love and respect that she has with the work I do, and during my journey and the person I become through all of this. I try to learn from her. I am so lucky that I am her daughter. I would not have it any other way," Renee claims.
