Tecnosoft presents its new Bluetooth data logger, TempBLE.

Based on Bluetooth 4.0 technology, with very low power use, TempBLE allows to get temperature data read by the sensor in real time on your smartphone. The device can be used for transports and monitoring of rooms, fridges etc. in medium-small environments.

Tecnosoft presenta in anteprima il suo data logger Bluetooth TempBLE.

Basato su tecnologia Bluetooth 4.0, dai consumi bassissimi, TempBLE consente di ricevere in tempo reale direttamente sul proprio smartphone i valori di temperatura letti dal sensore. Il dispositivo trova applicazione nei trasporti su strada e nel monitoraggio di ambienti, frigo ecc. in spazi medio-piccoli.

Which is the temperature at the core of fresh filled pasta?

Temperature measurement at the core of fresh filled pasta is not trivial and the wrong placement of the temperature sensor may give wrong information.

Lethality values, calculcated in PU (Pasteurisation Units), obtained from a wrong placement are generally greater than the expected.

The temperature sensor is generally at 2-3 mm from the tip and this sensitive part should be at the core of the filling. More, although stainless steel is not among the best heat conductors, some heat is conducted from the tip or the body of the probe.

It is very important that the tip doesn't exit from the pasta to avoid to measure the ambient temperature and not the filling temperature and get PUs values greater than the expected.

More than one piece of product should be stuck on the probe if the probe is much longer than the piece of fresh filled pasta in order to cove most of the probe.

P-Micro series fits this application thanks to fast response time, very important for processes lasting from 90 to 180 seconds and small size when there are narrow spaces for instrumentation.

Qual è la temperatura a cuore della pasta fresca ripiena?

La misura della temperatura a cuore di un prodotto alimentare come la pasta fresca ripiena non è affatto banale e l'errato posizionamento del sensore di temperatura può fornire informazioni non corrette. Da questi dati rilevati in maniera non appropriata il valore di letalità finale (calcolato in PU, Pasteurisation Units) può essere molto diverso da quello atteso, generalmente molto superiore.

Nei registratori di temperatura per processi di pastorizzazione e sterilizzazione, generalmente, la parte sensibile si trova a circa 2-3 mm dall'estermità del puntale ed è, quindi, indispensabile che essa si trovi il più possibile al cuore del prodotto. Inoltre, benché l'acciaio inossidabile non sia fra i migliori conduttori di calore, occorre notare che un poco di calore viene portato all'interno dalla parte di puntale che rimane scoperto. E' perciò fondamentale che la punta non fuoriesca dalla pasta ripiena, altrimenti misurerebbe la temperatura ambientale esterna e non quella del ripieno, mostrando così valori più elevati di quelli attesi.

Se si usa un puntale più lungo della pasta stessa sarebbe bene infilare tanti prodotti quanti sono necessari a coprire tutto il puntale, avendo cura che la punta sia posizionata correttamente a cuore nell'ultima pasta inserita.

La serie P-Micro è sicuramente tra le più adatte per questa applicazione grazie all'elevato tempo di risposta, fondamentale in processi che durano dai 90 ai 180 secondi, ed alle ridotte dimensioni, spesso una discriminante sulla scelta del dispositivo da utilizzare in spazi angusti.

Core temperature monitoring during pasteurization and sterilization processes

When you are about to monitor the temperature of your products during a pasteurization or sterilization process it is important to monitor the coldest spot inside your product, usually the core of it. So, positioning the probe inside your product's container is very important and must be done carefully. Up to now you had to make holes on caps or container surfaces and fix the probes somehow, with different types of tools.

With very small autoclave loggers, like the S-Micro, the smallest autoclave logger ever made, this operation was not needed anymore as you can put the logger directly inside the container.

But how can you position the sensing part of the probe, usually the tip, exactly at the core of the product?

Tecnosoft comes in help once more, with the fixing base, an adjustable double base fixed to the containers walls with a special rubber, very strong yet easy to remove. In the second base the logger is fixed and, with different spacers length, you can regulate its position inside the container. The base can be fixed on every wall, on the cap and on the base of the container. The base works with all kind of autoclave loggers.

Monitoraggio della temperatura a cuore del prodotto durante la pastorizzazione e la sterilizzazione

Quando vi apprestate a monitorare la temperatura a cuore del prodotto è importante monitorare il punto freddo all'interno del prodotto, solitamente il cuore del prodotto. Perciò, posizionare la sonda all'interno della confezione del vostro prodotto è molto importante ed è un'operazione da fare con attenzione. Fino ad ora dovevi fare buchi sulle superfici o sulle capsule e fissare la sonda in qualche modo, con diversi strumenti.

Con data logger per autoclave molto piccoli, come l'S-Micro, il più piccolo oggi disponibile, queste operazioni non erano più necessarie dato che puoi mettere il data logger direttamente nel contenitore.

Ma come puoi posizionare la parte sensibile della sonda, solitamente la punta, esattamente a cuore del prodotto? Tecnosoft viene in aiuto ancora una volta, con la base di fissaggio, una doppia base con diversi distanziatori che permette di regolare la posizione del logger nella confezione. Si fissa alla superficie grazie ad una gomma speciale, resistente ma allo stesso tempo facile da rimuovere. Sulla seconda base si fissa il logger. La base si può fissare sul fondo, sul tappo o sulle apreti verticali della confezione. La base funziona con tutti i tipi di data logger per autoclave.
