Hair isn't just a filamentous biomaterial, it's a story teller. The things, that you would otherwise need an informer to figure out, are said so intuitively by hair. A person wearing a baggy jeans is walking ahead of you, now without having a view of the face, you judge gender by the hair length. It could go the other way sometimes. But in most cultures long hair are associated with a proud expression of femininity. Further, hair color have been associated with ethnicity of the person. If you see someone with blonde hair, you would quickly think that the person isn't native to India and might have come from US or Canada. Another thing that hair color tell, which many don't let them tell with artificial colors, is their age. The significance of hair in culture as well as religion is really very interesting. Sikhs value their hair as pride possessions. They discourage cutting of hair on any part of the body, often called kesh-katl.

The hair stories said above aren't really in one's control and are society driven or in general heredity owned. Hair is no more something you inherit, but something you flaunt your own individuality with. Girls absolutely love their hair and tell their secrets without bothering their lips.

1. Curls tell that the girl is spontaneous, funky, sinuous, flirtatious, and has got that spunk in her. Some have natural curls while some spend hours with rollers. Always respect a girl with curls for the effort she puts in to maintain those. It's a task for a girl to shampoo her hair and when it comes to the one with curls it becomes a herculean one. Straight hair expresses that she loves to keep things simple and sexy. She keeps it uncluttered and has professionalism in her outlook and nature. Rest like to save time or invest it in the arts to follow.

Flaunting straight hair

2. The idea of hair color has been transformed from just being a way to hide rising age to a style statement. No one can forget how Kate's red hair in Titanic became an absolute rage. Girls love to do streaks that clearly emanate funk. It tells you how vibrant, playful and youthful she is. She loves to do new things and loves to stand out in the crowd.

3. Colors and styles might present one's personality but how to guess her mood on a given day? Well, there's no limit to the accessories. A friend traversed through entire Kamla Nagar market looking for a yin yang hair clip. So the things that might appear trivial to you aren't quite. Unlike 91% of men who pick up the first pair visible in their wardrobe, every piece on a girls body is carefully chosen and artistically woven into her outlook.

Don't go by the Saree, she's a fun filled naari

4. We all know how difficult open hair is to handle, especially in summers like Delhi's, but guys absolutely love to see free flowing hair. Open hair is an expression of freedom and brimming sexuality. If you watch your bollywood movies with concentration, you might recall hundred instances of a heroine untying her hair and knotting her dupatta when the dance sequence begins. On the other hand, tied hair is a mark of a woman who assumes responsibility. Going to work, college, place that requires discipline or where she commands a lot of respect from others, she would tie her hair back to keep it unfussy so that she can concentrate on the job at her hands.

Open hair emanating freedom

5. Ek chukti sindoor ki keemat tum kya jaano Ramesh babu. As per value theory, the red color powder might not have any extrinsic value but certainly has great intrinsic value. The color spread across parting in her hair shows her exuberance of being married. No matter how old she might get, that color enriches her being and life.

The world is divided in to two halves. The tables have turned. The mutants, who were considered to be a threat to the Humans, are now under threat by the Humans. Dr. McCoy is worried as the world stands at the brink of another World War. Suddenly Professor Xavier enters the room.

Dr. McCoy : Charles! We could have met on a better occasion.

Xavier: No occasion is bad for a coffee

Dr. McCoy: Not even one's death bed

Xavier: We aren't dead yet

Dr. McCoy: What can we do that we stay that way.

Xavier: Our powers make us different, if you look from their perspective, dangerous. We have to show that our super natural powers can save humans.

Dr. McCoy: I know how. We need to talk to the President.

Xavier smiles.

The next morning there's a huge gathering of mutants in front of the President's House. Dr. McCoy comes out walking swiftly with no expression on his face and takes the podium.

Dr. McCoy: Mutants, after long discussion with the President, the Mutant Neutralization Programme (MNP) scheduled next week won't be conducted.

A Mutant: Yayy! Some crackers up Gambit! Yo Yo Pranab Da!

Dr. McCoy : Silence! The MNP isn't cancelled, it has been conditionally postponed. We have been given a chance to prove our value to this world. We have been given one month to prove that we can save more lives than we take.

B Mutant : But we ain't no beggars to beg in front of these niggers for our life.

Dr. McCoy : One more such non sense, I will go onto "Aamaran Anshan".

C Mutant (to B): Hey Jackass! Why you no shut the f up? That guy is first class pass from MAMC. He has got some brain.

Dr. McCoy : We will go to people who need us and try to save as many lives as we can. Long live Humans, long live Mutants.

The mutant team reaches a nearby hospital. A doctor explains the case of Mandmohan. He used to eat up coal as a result he developed a clot in his Larynx. He finds it difficult to speak unless supported by his Italian baby-sitter. Kitty stepped forward. Kitty Pryde possesses a "phasing" ability that allows her and objects or people with which she is in contact to become intangible. She carefully inserted her fingers through his neck and gently tries to find out the clot. Her eyes lit up and she drew the tiny piece of coal out of Mandmohan's throat. Mandmohan no longer has pain in his throat but still likes his baby-sitter's support.

Mihir's car banged against a truck and he's was brought to hospital with an absolutely smashed face. Everyone is worried since Bhagwan Shiv is on a holiday, there's no one who can do the critical surgery. Mandira is looking for an absolute makeover for Mihir. Mutant Mystique, a shapeshifter is a supervillain . After showing hundred episodes of Ramanand's Ramayana she actually agreed to help Mihir. A slice of skin is taken off Mystique's thigh to be implanted onto Mihir's face. Whoa! We've got Ronit Roy kinda Mihir. Mandira is very impressed, "this is as good as band baja bride makeover".

After a wonderful World Cup, Yudhraj Singh has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in the lungs.
Wolverine : We gotta slice through the skin and pluck the tumor off.
Dr. McCoy : No Logan! We can't do that. It's in the lungs. Too much blood loss might kill him. We have to find a safe way to remove that tumor before it is too late.
Xavier : Scott!
Dr. McCoy : His optic blast is too strong for his skin to withstand even for a second.
Xavier : We'll have to find a way to control it.
Storm : But Professor, if it has to destroy the tumor it has to pass through skin.
Xavier : We will create an arc of ruby-quartz lens which will disperse the high energy beam. The dispersed low energy rays will go through the skin and the viscera without damaging them and further meet at the exact location of the tumor where by the phenomena of constructive interference there would be high energy sufficient to destroy the tumor.

Cyclops Arc

Professor's Xavier School for the Gifted Youngsters works day in day out to create the Cyclops arc with absolute precision. Xavier, Dr. McCoy, Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Jean gather in the operation theater as Yudhraj enjoys his dreams.

Scott Summers aka Cyclops (Source X-Men)

Jean : Are you ready Scott?
Cyclops : Let's do it!
Cyclops shoots his high energy beam, the arc is activated. The tumor begins to burn. Professor carefully maneuvers the arc with the remote control to the length of the tumor.
Dr. McCoy: 60% of the length crossed.
Scott begins to tire up but tries to keep his concentration on that tiny arc hole. Suddenly Logan's instinct signals.
Wolverine: The top lens!
The top lens could not take the high energy and is about to fall off. Scott is blinded by the light and can't see what's going on down there. Direct exposure to Cyclops beam could kill Yudhraj in a few milliseconds. The lens falls off, the high energy beam progresses closer to Yudhraj's skin at 300,000,000m/s. Everyone's heart is in his mouth. Just a centimeter above the body the beam is held. Everyone looks in amazement how could that happen. Storm looks around perplexed and sees her in awe.
Storm : Jean!
Jean the only Level V mutant has controlled Cyclops high energy beam.
Dr. McCoy : 94%
Scott is trying hard to keep his eyes open.
Dr. McCoy : STOP!
Scott falls on the ground as Storm and Jean run to comfort him.
Dr. McCoy begins to examine the vitals of Yudhraj.
Dr. McCoy: We have done it!

Yudhraj Singh was awarded prestigious Arjuna Award at Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Pranab Mukherjee.
President : I have an important announcement to make now. I have the list of Mutants to be neutralized under Mutant Neutralization Programme. I'll call out the names.
He pulls out the list and tears it off.
President : LOL! Long live Humans, long live Mutants.

One would wonder all's well that ends well. But back to reality, no mutants really exist in this world. True! Mutants might not really exist but cures definitely do. The modern day healthcare technologies give doctors and their patients the superpowers to combat a wide array of diseases. X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, Endoscopy allow to look into the body without the need of cutting through the skin. A person whose skin is damaged in some way no more needs grafting as plastic surgery is advanced enough to do the repair work. Cancer which was once an incurable disease, is now curable to some extent. Early diagnosis and Chemotherapy has saved many a lives and will continue to do so.

Next time you see Yuvraj nailing an over pitched delivery over mid wicket for a six, thank not only God but the Modern Healthcare too. And if you by any chance like the article, thank Apollo Healthcare for the prompt.

Music touches just about every moment of our lives. So here I am presenting some emotions that can never be imagined without it.

Wedding

You expected this, didn't you? Music in parties is about dancing and having fun but we are talking specifically about wedding parties here. Music here assumes mystic powers and does wonders.

1. At least one person goes absolutely berserk without even getting drunk
2. 94% of the people do bhangra irrespective of the song
3. Some people are just waiting to be pulled onto the dance floor
4. Some are just waiting for someone to start dancing because going in first would be awkward
5. Apart from some admirers, rest just wish to comment on the dancers, "Dude she's hot", " Look at her! Haww!", "He knows just one step", "Sharma di kudi nu vekho saade Jeetu nu kive chipki jaandi e".

An Indian wedding isn't a family affair, it's a locality, town, state, country affair. Hence the music has to be blared across to the needy people dying without music systems. Their assignments, deadlines and sleep can obviously wait.

Exams

The most tense situation in life when you have one eye on your watch, one on your paper and the third, the wisdom one on your neighbor's answer sheet. Your memory is full to the brim, your hand is writing 200 words per minute, your brain is overclocked to the blasting state but suddenly like a spoiled brat a neuron decides to have some fun. It plays the most idiotic song you've ever heard on repeat. Mind it, on repeat for freaking 3 hours that idiotic song buzzes in your head. It's like "Describe the process of photosyn.. beedi jalaiile jigar se piya jigar ma badi aag hai". You sometimes start smiling like an idiot and freak everyone around you "either he knows everything or absolutely nothing. In either case we are screwed."

Patriotism

After cursing my school for eating up my time meant for cricket, I would like to thank it for something I wouldn't have put to practice otherwise anywhere else. Dressed up in uniforms like soldiers, you would see a young brigade of double ponied girls and oiled hair boys singing "Vande Mataram" and "Jana Gana Mana" in almost perfect unison. They might well be the first well-rehearsed songs, one learns from beginning to end by heart. They seemed trivial then, but when you hear it in Lord's Cricket Ground at London before a match start or in an Olympic ceremony, you feel those goosebumps and your lips begin to follow the tune.

Alone

People judge you by your clothes, body language, blog, twitter, Facebook, but your true identity is best expressed by the music you listen to when you're alone, may be travelling, waiting for someone, or lying on your bed. The songs you play in your car on a free long drive, which make you stay in even after you've reached your destination are special. Sometimes when you don't feel like talking to anyone, you plug those headphones in and listen to your favorite songs that you can actually relate to. When you can't go to people, go to music.

Crush

Okay this is my favorite. We all have had crushes. I know you still have one. Ahan! I love that blush. I think those amazing lyricists too had crushes they wrote imagining about. The moment you see your crush somewhere you just wish to express everything in the most engaging way, how about "tujhe dekha to ye jaana sanam pyaar hota hai deewana sanam". Curb your SRK dream lady, let me finish off the article. When you sing a song to your love, no matter you sound like Lata mangeshkar or Justin Beiber, you etch a memory on your partner's heart and soul for once and forever. It's the power of music and your love that combine to create that magical effect. Never felt that? I'll sing one for you.

And so do you implicitly.

I thank HP Connected Music not only for this prompt to express my love for music but also for wonderful indiblogger meet at Hilton Garden Inn.
