What did I think?

This is amazing stuff ladies! From the gorgeous jar to the smooth application, you will be addicted! The creme has a fabulously clean and natural scent. Because there are no artificial perfumes its so delicate as well. Within 30 minutes of application I could feel a difference! That has never happened to me before! I live in Arizona where it is quite dry. In the winter months I get a flaky dryness near my hairline and eyebrows. Strange, I know. Last week I started to notice a dry patch in the middle of my forehead. It persisted for a couple of days until I got my Age-Defy. I put it on and it was gone... never to be seen again.

After a few days of using the Age-Defy I have smooth, moist and healthier looking skin. After having a baby and letting things like beauty slide a little, this is a great product and my favorite thing is that there are no chemicals in it!

Let me also say that a little goes a long way! This bottle is going to last a while. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a natural, safe and effective skin care line!

Do you watch The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC?

I was just introduced to a show that you are going to love! You may have noticed that I like to share some of my recipes with you. I enjoy cooking and trying new things but even more than that I like a little competition! Combine the 2 and you have me hooked! Whats great is that you don't even have cable or satellite TV, it airs on ABC Tuesday nights.

Basically the contestants are divided into teams. Each team is mentored by a well known top chef. The individual chefs make a "spoon" and one spoon from each team is chosen to be tasted by the judges in a blind taste test! The winner gets immunity in the individual challenge!

In the individual challenge the mentors get to be the judges. They are, again, tasting blindly. They have no idea that they may be eliminating someone from their own team!

The judges have on spoonful to taste to choose a winner!

“The Taste” features no-holds barred chef Anthony Bourdain, British food star Nigella Lawson, expert chef and author Ludo Lefebvre and restaurateur Brian Malarkey. Each of the four culinary superstars and “Taste” mentors – Bourdain, Lawson, Lefebvre and Malarkey – will coach a team of four competing pro and amateur cooks chosen from a nationwide casting call as they vie to create the best tasting dish.

The weather around here is getting chilly! But that won't stop me from being stylishly pregnant this winter. I received a pair of No nonsense tights and a pair of No nonsense leggings to review. That means I can still wear some of my fall favorites with a little extra flare. Normally I love wearing my flowy light fabrics especially in the Arizona heat. But when the temps dip lower there is a need for more coverage.

The past few nights have been down to the freezing point, New Year's Eve was no exception. At midnight in my neighborhood it was 35 degrees! Simply adding my leggings to my wrap dress not only kept the chill off but made my whole outfit have the attitude to help celebrate the evening in style!

I also received a pair of No nonsense tights. I have to be honest and say that I have not worn tights since high school, which was more than a decade ago... So I was a little apprehensive. Being pregnant I did have to wear the waistband below my belly. I decided to pair them with a longer skirt and my favorite maternity top!

I really love the No nonsense tights and leggings I received! They feel awesome and are very comfortable. I love that they can be paired with just about any outfit to change up the style in a flash. As you can see both pairs I received were black which goes with anything! But I do need to get some of those awesome colors too!

Have you ever baked a pie from scratch? I have not! I love to bake... cakes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies but pie is a whole other world to me. I love to eat pie of course. That is why I turm to Mrs Smith's. I don't have to do any kneeding or mixing or rolling. Just around an hour in the oven and I have "made" a home baked pie! (Hey, I baked it in my home, right?)

I spent a day baking 3 of the 4 new Mrs. Smith's Signature Deep Dish pies! My local walmart didn't carry the Peach variety.
The Signature Deep Dish Pie varieties they made by Mrs Smith's are:

Cherry with Butter Fudge Sauce
Pumpkin with Cream Cheese Icing
Peach with Cream Cheese Icing
Dutch Apple with Caramel Sauce

Each pie had a different cooking time and temperature so make sure to read the instructions! But they were all approximately an hour. This definitely gave them the "home baked" freshness that we all loved!

My favorite was definitely the Ducth Apple Pie with Caramel sauce! The crumble on top is just amazing! The caramel sauce drizzled on top was really the clincher for me! I am also one of those people that likes the crust! The crust on all of these pies was perfect. I actually like to eat the crust first!

These pies were priced very well at around $5 at Walmart. For the amazing taste and quality I would have paid a LOT more!

It has been quite a while since I have been able to post anything here! I missed you all. I will be working through past emails and getting back to everyone.
I would like to take this time to make a few announcements!

We will be having a baby in January! It will be our first boy!
This blog will be taking a somewhat new direction and all will be revealed in time... My hint: Less kid, more Mom!
I started a second blog as a result of my being unable to use this one. That blog will focus on kids!

I also want to say that one of the programs I am a part of has also undergone a makeover! Influenster is a fantastic place to find out about products, read real reviews from women like yourself and even try them out yourself! The new site is by invite only. So you can request an invite for this exclusive "party".
The newest part, which I love, is the new Influenster score! Scores are on a scale of 1-100 (mine is currently 65) and is based on a number of factors including social media activity, hoe valuable other embers think your reviews are and creating content on Influenster!
The benefits of becoming a member? Access to exclusive content, product reviews, and discussion within a community of tastemakers. The Voxboxes (product samples for you to review based on theme) are of course great! However, nobody is guaranteed "free stuff". Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway!

Another thing that Kmart offers is online layaway shopping! That's right! You can shop from the comfort of your own home, make payments online and then pick up your layaway purchase at a local store!

What's even better? Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway! Do you remember last years anonymous "Layaway Secret Santa"? My Experience:

We chose to review Zulu the Zebra. When we first opened the package we noticed how soft the fabric was! When the blanket is tucked inside we have a soft and squishable plush toy. All we have to do is undo the velcro straps and it becomes a soft pillow. Unzip the pillow to reveal the softest blanket you have ever felt! This is the most versatile product I have used in a very long time.
Taking care of Zulu is a breeze. the blanket is able to sip completely off and goes in the washing machine. We all love this Blanket Pet and at times it is hard to tell who it actually belongs to.
