My Thirty-One Goes Pink

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is the time of year where you see pink everywhere to increase the awareness of this disease. It is also a great time to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure

I'm sure many of you have known someone affected by breast cancer too. I good friend of mine is battling this disease for the second time (and is winning... again). It's really amazing how much Thirty-One Gifts has grown in the past year. I remember last October, as we celebrated our 5th anniversary, we also celebrated signing out 5, 000th consultant. Now, just about a year later, we have had more than 11,000 people join Thirty-One. Even though not all 11, 000+ are still active, we are still growing by leaps and bounds every day.

There are so many new products in Thirty-One Gifts' new Fall/Winter catalog that it's difficult to decide where to start. So I turn to my good friend and fellow Oceans 31 teammate Sandy who is raving about the new Albany Bag. It's her favorite new bag. Now that I've really taken a look at it myself, it's moving up the list to one of my favorites too.

It's a good size purse that isn't too big. It has the perfect length handles for throwing it over your shoulder and it stays there. The straps are leather, it has a zipper closure and there are little "feet" on the bottom. The Albany bag is available in Black, Dot Dot and Chocolate Spots.

Personalization with Thirty-One

What makes a Thirty-One Gifts item so truly unique is that most of them can be personalized... a one of a kind gift! For only an additional $6, you can add a name, single letter, initials or even your favorite phrase to our purses, totes, thermal bags and spa items. When looking through the catalog, anything marked with an "E" can be embroidered.

When personalizing your item, you need to decide the font and color of the thread. Here is a copy of the latest Embroidery Guide to help with that decision. There are 24 different font styles and 26 font colors. This guide is so helpful because it has the full alphabet for each font as well as suggested font colors for most fabric patterns.

When ordering a personalized item online, please be sure to enter your personalization EXACTLY as you want it to appear on your item. If you type all caps, it will come all caps. For 3-initial monogram, they will appear in the order you place them. Read through the guide carefully for more tips on ordering embroidered items.

How Much Profit Do I Earn?

Your commission is 25% of all indivdual and party sales.

Can I Ever Earn More Than 25%?

Do I Pay for the Hostess Rewards?

No. You are not personally responsible for the Hostess Rewards. Thirty-One takes care of that for you.

Do I Pay for Additional Business Supplies?

Thirty-One offers incentives that can be applied towards business supplies. You are welcome to purchase any additional supplies you need according to your volume of sales.

Do I Have to Inventory Product and Make Deliveries?

No. You can opt to retain additional "cash and carry" merchandise in your kit if you'd like, but Thirty-One is responsible for all inventory and will ship products directly to the hostess for you
