Straight MIDI would also be possible with an additional small circuit and some minor firmware changes. This initial version can respond to all 128 MIDI notes, and pitch bends +/- 2 semitones

As it can produce only four simultaneous notes, and each drive has a different range and tonal characteristics, best results are obtained by arranging compositions by hand. However, it features two modes of operation: in one mode, MIDI channels 1 through 4 are played directly on floppy drives 1 through 4. In the other mode, all 16 MIDI channels are read, and notes are "intelligently" divvied out on a first-come, first-serve basis. "Note stealing" ensures that melody lines sound, but chords are often cut short. One or the other produces acceptable results for many unmodified MIDI files straight out of your favorite media player.

If you happen to get 'Unexpected Error Occurred' message in Windows Network Connection trying to access network interface properties the way to fix the issue is to re-register netshell.dll and ole32.dll in the system:

In command line go to your \windows\system32 folder (eg: cd c:\Window\system32)

Type "regsvr32 netshell.dll", enter, click OK in the appeared dialog
Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll", enter, click OK in the appeared dialog
restart your machine

iPad 2 is coming - what they were doing at Apple all this time!?

So, here we are! iPad 2 to be unveiled just in a few hours. Will it blow our minds away?!

Through all the rumors on its characteristics I stay with the idea that iPad 2 will be really great step ahead of the original iPad Uno device.

I don't trust the most believed "the same screen resolution" headline, thus I think Apple engineers must had done really great job in whole year of 2010 improving and improving, improving and improving, improving and improving the iPad to have produced the best tablet device available on the market! Otherwise it just will not fit in Apple's ideology, isn't it?!

Also people think, that while iPad 2 is going to be just 'iPhone 3GS'-kind of update, the really new impressive model will appear already in Fall 2011 as iPad 3, which is now in minds of Apple's engineers. But! Didn't they thought about iPad 2 already one year ago when the original iPad was produced?? They had to! So, during the year of extraordinary success of the whole-new kind of device Apple would do all they can do best to assure that now, when competitors are closely coming, the iPad will still be the number one and the leading device in the range! Otherwise what they were doing all the year there in Cupertino?!

So, welcome iPad 2, we were waiting already too long for you!

Was kinda surprised by AdSense Ad appeared on neighbor blog - 'Nude Personnel Photos' from Gifts.com.

The fact that this came through AdSense network is astonishing. The blog had nothing to do with adult content, the only linked keyword might be 'glamour' there.

The Gifts.com seems to be safe, family site with a lot of Christmas and kids gifts - so I don't understand what was that?!
