Maskate

2016-04-28T00:34:00.001-07:00

I really love skateing, and love creating even more. One day those two loves united, I came up with an idea to make masks out of used, broken skateboards. It's an creative recycling process of puting new life into old skateboards. They get a second chance to tell a new story.

Shamanic masks, and motives of the far east and Africa were my insporation. I tend to make the masks mystical and sometimes a little bit obscure, with the intent to hypnotise the observer. They are mostly decorative objects, but some have old hooks atrached to them so they can be practically used.

In the passage called ' Kružna ulica' where the street art jam called ' Hello sailor' took place 5 .years ago, a lot of paintings changed, and a lot of art was ruined by time and tags. So we, Nindža Tiger and Hafi 22, decided to do a little remake. And here are the results.

Street arts festival Mostar

2015-06-22T08:17:00.002-07:00

A little report from the Street arts festival Mostar, where I participated in May this year. The crew was great, organisers young and enthusiastic, and the only thing that tried to stop the burst of creative energy on the streets of Mostar was really poor weather. But nothing can stop you when the vibes are good. And the result is this collaboration wall with Ljubomir Tododrović that we did in a passage of the building called ' Mostarka'.

Boombarstick/Vodnjan

2015-06-15T12:02:00.001-07:00

It is visions and bravery of certain individuals that make a difference, put a new light to this world, and change our everyday existence, That's just what happened in the istrian city Vodnjan, where Boombarstick Urban Arts & Musi’ Festival exists from 2013. The organisers of the festival used all their energy and ideas to create something unique and exquisite, a festival that attracts the finest of the street art scene of today.
This year in the beginning of June, I had an honour to participate in this great concept. I draw on the wall of the one of the oldest Oil mills in Vodnjan, actually pretty famous in the world as well, called Tonin. The energy of the city, and the fact that I'm drawing on the wall of an oil mill inspired me to call my work ' Golden olive'.
It was a great experience and a fun time, left a feeling of being fully relaxed and connected to the art and the city.

Savamala

2014-07-19T09:33:00.000-07:00

Sava malaThe name comes from the name of the Sava river and mahala, contracted usually to ma('a)la in Serbian, one of the Turkish words for neighbourhood or block of houses.

And today it is the epicenter of urban culture in Belgrade, an eclectic mix of old shops, galeries and night clubs. Urban spaces mix with old buildings, tourists and natives crawl from all around creating a melting pot of fun and creative ideas. I enjoyed working there, and definitely will come back.
