There was a young boy who came regularly to soccer practice but never made it to the starting team. While he was practicing, his father would sit at the far end of the field, waiting for him.

The matches began and for four days, the boy didn't show up for practice or the quarter or semi-finals. He appeared for the final game, went to the coach and said, "coach you have always kept me in the reserves and never let me play in the games, but today, please let me play, " the coach said, son I am sorry ,I can't let you,the reputation of the school is at stake and I can't take a chance on you". The boy pleaded, coach I promise I will not let you down,I beg of you, please let me play.

The coach had never seen the boy plead like this before,he said, okay son go play, remember I am going against my better judgment and the reputation of the school is at stake. Don't let me down.

The game started and the boy played like a house on fire, everytime he got the ball,he shot a goal. Needless to say,he was the star of the game, his team had a spectacular win.

When the game finished, the coach went upt to him and said, son how could I have been so wrong? I have never seen you play like thins before. What happened?,how did you play so well?,the boy replied, coach my father is watching me today, the coach turned around and looked ar the place where the boy's father used to sit.

There was no one there he said, "son your father used to sit there when you came for practice, but I do not see anyone there today, "the boy replied coach, there is something I never told you,my father was blind, just four days ago,he died, today is the first day he is watching me from above.
Hello guys.

I talk about motivation all the time,I put up stories,I publish articles and my guess is that most of you understand all I try to put out( I really appreciate this),while some don't. Well this is for those that really do not understand my message.

This is internal motivation....

Internal motivation comes from within , such as pride , a sense of achievement , responsibility, and belief.

Internal motivation is inner gratification,it basically a feeling of accomplishment,it is lasting because it comes from within and translates into self-motivation.

You should know that the most powerful motivation comes from within our belief system. To be internally motivated, you need to believe in what you do and accept responsibility for your life.

When this happens our belief, actions, and attitudes towards life and every other thing(personally or professionally) becomes positive,we become more productive, life becomes more meaningful.

What do you think about internal motivation?

Do you think we need to be internally motivated to be successful or to be productive?

Let's discuss!!

Love Always
Hello guys.

Do you know that your internal motivation is your drive and attitude, and the only way a person can stay truly motivated is by embracing positivity through affirmations, which I covered last month.

Moving on swiftly ...............................

Here are some quotes from people who I think have really changed their lives one way or the other positively.

Enjoy!!

You can motivate by fear and you can
motivate by reward, but both of these
are only temporary. The only lasting
thing is self-motivation – Homer Rice

Be miserable or motivate yourself.
Whatever has to be done, it’s always
your choice – Wayne Dwyer

People who are unable to motivate
themselves must be content with
mediocrity, no matter how impressive
their other talents – Andrew Carnegie

Help people become more motivated by
guiding them to the source of their own power – Paul G Thomas

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential, these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence – Confucius

Love Always
Hello guys.

Its Tuesday guys, and I have missed this particular feature so much,I have missed sharing amazing quotes with you guys.

Well here are some more quotes as usual to inspire you.

Enjoy...

“Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Do not bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than
yourself.”
― William Faulkner

“You're alive, that means you have
infinite potential. You can do anything,
make anything, dream anything. If you can change the world, the world will change potential. Once you're dead, it's gone/over. You've made what you've made, dreamed your dream, written your name. You may be buried here, you may even walk. But that potential is
finished.”
― Neil Gaiman

“The choices you make now, the people
you surround yourself with, they all have the potential to affect your life, even who you are, forever.”
― Sarah Dessen

Love Always

Everyone has a will to win but a few have the will to prepare to win- Vince Lombardi

Fear, lack of priorities, unwilligness to take risks among others are factors that prevents us from reaching our full potential. We are all victims of these(sue included) we decide to do something, something different , something we are passionate about but we tend to pull back one way or the other, not knowing that just a little bit of effort can get us there.

Lack of Priorities

Prioritizing requires discipline,it as to do with doing what is supposed to be done at the appropriate time. When we do not set our priorities right,we waste time on other inappropriate things.

Lack of Persistence

Persistence is the ability to maintain action regardless of your feelings. You press on even when you feel like quitting. When you work on any big goal, your motivation will wax and wane like waves hitting the shore. Sometimes you’ll feel motivated; sometimes you won’t. But it’s not your motivation that will produce results — it’s your action. Persistence allows you to keep taking action even when you don’t feel motivated to do so, and therefore you keep accumulating results.

Desire to make millions overnight

Someone once said that the desire to make millions overnight has made the lottery business, several companies promo, and all other instant cash promo as made the lottery business a lucrative one. People don't want to work hard no more, all they need is a pill for everything, connection, and luck. When all you think of is instant gratification one will never think of the consequences.

Looking for shortcut.

There is no free lunch anywhere, this means that you don't get anything for free, you have to work hard for everything only if you want the best.
You don't want to be like the "free-loaders" who are looking for something for nothing.

Love Always
Hello
Book Of The Month: YOU CAN WIN by Shiv Khera.

I started this feature last month ,and I am happy with the feedback I got.

The book I will be sharing this month is a self-help book, and this is a book you will love to read,it is easy to read besides the fact that it is practical and it is a book for those who are going through life out of inspiration and desperation.

This book will help individuals to:

Have confidence by mastering the seven steps to positive thinking

Be successful by turning weakness into strength

Gain credibility by doing the right thing for the right reasons

Take charge by controlling things instead of letting them control you

Build trust by developing mutual respect with the people around you

Accomplish more by removing the barriers to effectiveness

*whew* I think you need to read the book to really understand what I am talking about.

Hello guys.

This week's theme will be about POSITVE AFFIRMATIONS.

Positive Affirmations are affirmations that work best in the PRESENT tense,it helps to adopt positive BELIEVING as well as positive THINKING as you embrace these words in the situations that arise in your life.

Here are some inspirational quotes to help you understand affirmations better, and make sure you keep refreshing this page for more features as we discuss positive affirmations .

Enjoy.

You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.
-David Viscott

These repetitive words and phrases are merely methods of convincing the subconscious mind.
-Claude M. Bristol

We cannot always control our thoughts, but we can control our words, and repetition impresses the subconscious, and we are then master of the situation.
-Florence Scovel Shinn

An affirmation opens the door. It’s a beginning point on the path to change.
-Louise L. Hay

Affirmations are like seed planted in soil. Poor soil, poor growth. Rich soil, abundant growth. The more you choose to think thoughts that make you feel good, the quicker the affirmations work.
-Louise L. Hay

One comes to believe whatever one repeats to oneself sufficiently often, whether the statement be true or false. It comes to be dominating thought in one's mind.
-Robert Collier

As long as you know what it is you desire, then by simply affirming that it is yours -- firmly and positively, with no ifs, buts, or maybes -- over and over again, from the minute you arise in the morning until the time you go to sleep at night, and as many times during the day as your work or activities permit, you will be drawn to those people, places, and events that will bring your desires to you.
-Scott Reed

Have A Great Week.

Love Always

Hello guys.

Paying attention to fit, these goes for everyone and I would love us to pay close attention to the following tips

Enjoy

No To Skimpy Clothes

Everyone knows that you should avoid clothes that are too tight or too skimpy for work(durhhh your place sure doesn't look like a club). If your clothing is overly revealing, you may have difficulty getting attention for your ideas and you might get uncomfortable working with your colleagues

Boost Your Confidence

Clothes that’s two sizes too big can be just as detrimental. If your clothing is shapeless, you’ll end up looking sloppy.
When choosing work outfits, stick to items with a contemporary cut and avoid anything that is ill- fitting or too large. Wearing clothes that fits you well will give you that extra boost of confidence at work.

Get It Tailored

Every one gets their clothes tailored so when you get a particular outfit make sure it is well tailored to your exact size ,because very few people can just go into a store and throw something on and look good.

If you have contributions, kindly send them to. susanodunayo@gmail.com

Love Always
Sue

Happy Sunday guys!

I didn't go to church today but I got more from staying at home,I got more blessing and fulfilment from listening to my radio. And I believe those of you that went to church today are not as fulfiled as I am :).

I was on to COOL FM 96.9 and INSPIRATION FM 92.3 where I got to listen to Daddy freeze and
Dan foster this morning and it felt like they were talking to me.

MY TESTIMONY

I feel very proud of myself that I started blogging, that I started counselling and motivating people,I know it might take awhile to get noticed but that is what i love to do. And I thank God for this, cause he made it possible. Amen!

Moving on swiftly....

DAN-FOSTER

he played a sermon by joel osteen(my mentor),joel osteen talked about keeping the strife out of our lives and taking a stand for your family. Joel osteen went in deep and I felt really inspired listening to him speak.

FREEZE

I didn't know daddy freeze of cool fm had it in him,he really went in deep talking about hope, talking to people who are afraid to take a step to go futhure in life, those who don't even know their true potential, those who quit in the midst of trouble, trials and tribulations. He talked about rearranging our priorities and said the only way this can happen is if we take a decision to restore our lives to its original factory settings.

P.S
I am still tunned in to inspiration fm,if you are reading this and you want to feel what I am feeling, pls tune in.
Pls always tune in every sunday morning from 7am

I am grateful to God for this opportunity.

Amen!

Love Always
Sue

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth forever:

The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

At the same time, she went through a noodle shop, picking up sweet fragrance, she suddenly felt very hungry. She wished for a bowl of noodles, but she had no money!

The seller saw her standing wheat faltered before the counter and asked: - Hey little girl, you want to eat a bowl?
- But … but I do not carry money … she shyly replied.
- Okay, I’ll treat you – the seller said – come in, I will cook you a bowl.

A few minutes later the owner brought her a steaming bowl of noodles. Ate some pieces, Sue cried.
- What is it? – He asked.
- Nothing. I am just touched by your kindness! – Sue said as she wiped her tears.
- Even a stranger on the street gives me a bowl of noodles, and my mother, after a quarrel, chased me out of the house. She is cruel!!

The seller sighed:
- Girl, why did you think so? Think again. I only gave you a bowl of noodles and you felt that way. Your mother had raised you since you were little, why were you not grateful and disobeyed your mom?
Sue was really surprised after hearing that.

“Why did I not think of that? A bowl of noodles from a stranger made me feel indebted, and my mother has raised me since I was little and I have never felt
so, even a little.”
On the way home, Sue thought in her head what she would say to her mother when she arrives home:
“Mom, I’m sorry. I know it is my fault, please forgive me … ”
Once up the steps, Sue saw her mother worried and tired of looking for her everywhere.

Upon seeing Sue, her mother gently said: “Sue, come inside honey. You are probably very hungry? I cooked rice and prepared the meal already, come eat while it is still hot …”
Can not control any longer, Sue cried in her mom’s hands.

Moral:
In life, we sometimes easy to appreciate the small actions of some people around us, but for the relatives, especially parents, we see their sacrifices as a matter of natural …
Parental love and concern are the most precious gifts we have been given since birth.

Parents do not expect us to pay back for nurturing us …… but have we ever appreciated or treasure the unconditional sacrifice of our parents?

The Nigerian Senate includes some of the brightest minds in our country many of whom are friends of mine and most of whom have been in active
politics for many years. They have my respect.

However what transpired in the Senate chamber a few days ago was a great cause for concern for not just me but millions of Nigerians from all over the world. How an innocent and seemingly uninteresting, uninspiring and unimportant debate about when and at what age a Nigerian citizen could legitimately and lawfully renounce his or her citizenship turned into a referendum on paedophilia and child marriage I dont know. Yet sadly that is precisely what happened and ever since then the nation has been on fire.

Senator (ex-Governor) Ahmed Sani, the Yerima Bakura and the Apostle of political sharia in Nigeria finally got his way and the futile attempt by a small number of good, noble and honourable Senators to amend the existing law on marriage and properly define the age of a female that is eligible to marry was thwarted by the pro- paedophilia, pro-child rape and pro-child marriage
group within the Senate.

Sadly our distinguished Senators eventually bowed to the will of Yerima and his friends and agreed to remain silent about the age that young girls can get married in Nigeria. What this means is that girls that are as young as 9 years old can continue to be lawfully bedded and married in our country providing they are deemed as being ''physically developed enough'' to do so by their suitors, their prospective husbands and their parents.

That is the law and that is the sordid level that we as a people and as a nation have degenerated to over the years. I weep for Nigeria and, perhaps more appropiately, I weep for the Nigerian girl child. I weep because it is obvious to me that the Yerima's of this world wish to turn our country into a giant Bangkok to which millions of sexual deviants flock from all over the world to ''enjoy'' our ''tourist attractions'' and ''have a taste'' of our young and beloved children. Worst still they wish to use religion to defend and justify it.

Yet we have no choice but to live with this new reality and to accept it as it is. After all, our representatives in the sacred halls of the Senate were not sensitive enough or ''man enough'' to shoot down the whole thing, to stand firmly against the unholy agenda and to say boldly and firmly that ''come what may'' our children must be protected from sexual deviants and reprobates.

And since the Senate, in its infinate wisdom, has now bought into and openly endorsed the "Paedophile Charter" which essentially makes it
lawful and constitutional for very young girls to get married and to have sex at a very young age it is my firm view that we have now become a nation of perverts and paedophiles.

The Senate had a chance to clear the air and amend the law but, out of nothing but sentiment and an inexplicable eagerness to compromise with that which is clearly evil, they threw that chance away and sacrificed our most sacred values to Yerima and his gang.

Worst still they did it with a smile on their faces. Every Nigerian should bow his or her head in shame because instead of crushing the head of the lustful beast that seeks to fornicate
with our children, to steal their virtues and to destroy their future what the Senate did the other day was to compromise with and cater for the filthy appetites and godless fantasies of a bunch of child molestors and sexual predators.

It is sordid. It is ungodly. It is evil. And it is unforgiveable. Surely we ought to be seeking to protect our children and not seeking to bed them. Yet it appears that not everyone shares our outrage and collective sense of shame.

One Uche Ezechukwu made the following contribution which went viral on the social media networks and which I think speaks volumes. He wrote-

"Those who are railing against 'paedophile' senators, like Yerima Bakura, must be told that a muslim can’t go wrong while imitating the examples of the Apostle of Allah himself and the founder of his religion, in the same way a christian cannot be criticized for following the examples of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
married Aisha at the age of six and consummated the marriage when she was nine. So, why are we judging muslims by our own standards?" I am appauled by these words. The truth is that I have never heard such a self-serving and specious arguement in defence of the philosophies and beliefs of the Ayatollah of Bakura, Senator Ahmed Sani, the practising paedophile who married and bedded a 12 year old Egyptian girl, as this one. Ahmed Sani himself could not have argued it
better.

Yet I think that it is an utter shame. And this is more so because the individual that is putting the arguement is supposedly a christian. The Old Testament of the Holy Bible prescribes ''stoning'' for adultry but that does not mean that christian countries, or indeed secular states like Nigeria, should stone adulterers.

Neither does it mean that we should preserve the institution of slavery or crucify petty thieves simply because the Holy Bible endorsed both practices in the Old Testament. We must accept the fact that the interpretation of biblical and koranic provisions are evolutionary and are ever changing. Jesus Himself said ''laws are made for man and not man for laws''.

The suggestion that paedophilia has any place in any modern and decent society simply because it was once practised in the distant past is not only a despicable arguement but it also does not make any sense.

After all cannibalism and child and human sacrifice were once widely practised and were held as being perfectly acceptable throughout the world as well but that does not mean that we should practice any of those terrible vices today.

The young man, Uche Ezechukwu, who appears to be defending child rape in the name of islam, should either let someone lay with and ''marry'' his
own 6 or 9 year old daughter or he should seal his lips forever and stop trying to defend the indefensible.

His assertions, and I daresay those of Senator Ahmed Sani and anyone that shares their primitive views, are not only utterly immoral and reprehensible but they are also intellectually dishonest. I say this because the truth is that there is NO muslim country in the world that has adopted the "paedophile charter" where 6 or 9 year olds can marry and be bedded except for Saudi Arabia, Iran and Yemen.

Every other muslim country in the world, including Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt, Jordan, Senegal, the Sudan, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Qatar, Bahrain, Dagestan, Albania, Bosnia, Somalia, Algeria, Libya, Mali, Azerbejhan,Niger, Turkestan, Chechnya and Syria have specifically banned child marriage, paedophilia and child rape in their various constitutions and laws and some have declared it ''repugnant'', ''unacceptable'' and ''unislamic''.

Are these people not muslims too? As a matte if fact are they not better muslims than those that insist on sleeping with or marrying underage girls in the name of islam?
Like christianity and judaism, islam is a noble, pure, honourable and ancient faith that seeks to protect the weakest and most vulnerable in society, including children.

No-one should use the
misinterpretation of its provisions to try to justify or rationalise what is essentially depraved, shameful, disgusting and barbaric behaviour and
the most sordid and filthy expression of sexual deviance and perversion. Even animals do not marry or bed their own infants.

The bitter truth is that paedophiles have no place in any civilised
society. I am constrained to say that in the light of their "yes" vote to child marriage and their green light to paedophilia, every single member of the Nigerian Senate that voted with Yerima on that day and that supported his filthy agenda should bow their heads in utter shame and they should be compelled to offer their own infant and under age daughters to strangers for marriage. I repeat, they have turned us into a nation of perverts and paedophiles and I say a pox on all their houses.

I reserve my commendations and respect only for those Senators that opposed and voted against Yerima's
protestations and agenda and that stood for that which was right even though they could not muster enough votes to have their way. My word to this brave and righteous few is simple and clear- keep the struggle alive and continue to resist the evil that resides amongst us all. You are the only thing that stands between our children and the practising paedophiles in our midst who seek to ravage and bed them even before they have entered their teens.

Nigeria has many uncountable problems and none of them is early marriage. As a matter of fact early
marriage is the solution to about half of our problems.

For those who wonder if I can give my
daughter(s) out in marriage at the age of 9 or 13, I tell you most honestly, I can give her out at the age of 6 if I want to and its not your business.

This is because I am a Muslim and I follow the example of the best of mankind, Muhammad (PBUH). In Islam, marriage is not only about sex, it is about family and helping one another in achieving their goals, which is the attainment of Paradise.

In Islam, a girl can be given out in marriage as early as 6 years old, but consummation of the marriage can only be done when the girl becomes physically mature and she gives her consent to it because unlike English law, it is not permissible for a man to rape his wife in Shari'ah Law.

So what can anybody tell me?
~ I live in a city where young girls at the age of 12 have already became serial fornicators and cannot count the number of man they've had sex with.

~ I live in a City where primary school children disvirgin themselves behind toilets on Valentine day.

~ I live in a city where young girls flood the street at night looking for men that would give them N500 to have sex with them.

~ I live in a city where parents send their daughters out overseas to prostitute and send dollars down.

~ I live in a City where Government officials pick undergraduates from University car parks with Coastal Buses to wild sex parties.

~ I live in a city where abortion is so common that even a Chemist store owner can perform abortion with just N2,500.

These are your daughters, and this should worry you and not Yerima's private matters. So ask me again why I support early marriage and I will slap the Jinn out of your head.

Love Always
How are you enjoying your stay in Nigeria?
Did I tell you I’m half-Nigerian and half Ghanaian? I was given a Nigerian name recently which makes me half-Nigerian. My Nigerian name is Damilola. It has been wonderful, I always say Nigeria is like a home for me. When I’m here, I do not feel like going back home again. But it’s just that everything seems to be faster here.

You are in the country to premiere your latest movie. What’s the movie all about?
The movie is titled, ‘House of Gold.’ It is a family- oriented comedy, and I want people to come and see two of Africa’s music stars Ice Prince and Omawumi make their debut in a movie. I produced the movie in partnership with Media Ghana. “House of Gold” tells the story of Dan Ansah Williams, a high-flying entrepreneur, business mogul, polygamist and socialite who is battling with cancer and has six weeks to live. With the help of his long-time associate and legal representative, he embarks on a mission to recall all his children, most of whom were born out of wedlock, back home. Dan’s last wish is to have all his children under one
roof for seven days so they will get to know one another and bond due to the fact that they share the same blood line. However, that reunion proves a little more than everyone bargained for as each child indeed returns with an agenda, and this sets the stage for the most hilarious and bizarre seven days of their lives. I’m urging people to come and see the movie because they are going to laugh and have a nice time.

How did you get Ice Prince and Omawumi to star in the movie?
It was very challenging given the fact that they are busy people, always performing at shows. I have my own way of doing things. I spoke to them and they gave me their time and schedules, so I worked with it. We spent about 15 days on set.

What’s your experience like working with Ice Prince and Omawumi on set?
They were amazing on set. Ice Prince was the one who really shocked me because he had a show a night before joining us on set. He did not even sleep, as he took the next flight to Ghana and the moment he stormed the set, he started reading his script and mastering his lines. Omawumi was so good that I was tempted to ask her why she’s not into acting in Nigeria. I also had the funniest Nigerian actor,Francis Odega, on set.

Why did you decide to star the duo in your film?
It’s my own marketing strategy as a producer. I believe they have their own fan base and audiences. I wanted to spice up things. When you watch my movie, my cast are usually very interesting. People are sick and tried of seeing the same Nollywood and Ghollywood faces in our movies. I could have used notable Nollywood actors, but I just wanted to spice up things because I don’t think people are expecting what they are
definitely going to see in the movie.

Controversies have been trailing your acting career in recent times; from your break-up with Iyanya to accusations that you bleached your body and more recently, an article posted online where you lamented that Iyanya used and dumped you. Why all these controversies?
Did anybody hear me say that? Nobody used and dumped me. As journalists, you should know that your colleagues are fond of using sensational headlines to drag traffic to their blogs and websites. At the end of the day, I did not say somebody used and dumped me. I don’t remember saying anything like that.

Do you feel hurt each time you read negative stories about yourself?
I don’t. I don’t even know why they say all the things they say about me. To some people, if you tell them you can fly, they would believe in you. Whatever they read in the dailies, they believe in. It’s good for them. So, I can’t go into everybody’s home to tell them, “Look at me, I haven’t bleached before.” I’m happy with myself.

Are you in any relationship at the moment?
Not that fast. I’m now a “sacred virgin,” meaning you are not a virgin but after a long time, you become a sacred virgin. There are some special people in my life that I hang out with once in a while. But I’m not in any relationship at the moment. I just want to take my time. It’s not as if i’m looking for guys. I believe that when it is the right time, they will come looking for me.

After reading your interview in Bella Naija, we sought Iyanya’s reaction and he told us you were free to say whatever you wanted to say. Has it got to that extent?
Fine! You guys should go back and read the interview again. We are in a business where everybody is trying to protect his or her fan base. Most of his fans are women while my fans are
basically men. So, I would do anything to protect my male fans just as he was trying to protect his female fans. He can’t run away from the truth. I decided to open up because I didn’t want to disappoint my male fans. I was ready to talk about it. And nobody could stop me from doing so.

Given this situation, would you turn down any offer to be on the same set with Tonto Dikeh?
I don’t have any problem with anybody. As a professional, if I get a phone call from a producer and the script is something I like as well as the person directing the film, why not? I will. I’m not fighting with anyone, even though we are not friends. But all the same, whatever tweets she posted were meant for me. It’s okay, there’s nothing wrong with that. We all have our lives to live and were brought up in different backgrounds. I don’t have to respond to anything.

At this point, would you say you were heartbroken?
I once was.

What’s the healing process like?
Just like any other person. I guess everybody goes through heartbreak. It’s a natural thing and as time goes on, you get over it. I can’t sit down at home and cry all day long. I’m occupied with a lot of things; I have movies to shoot, I’m travelling and handling other projects.

How would you describe Iyanya?
Great guy with great talent. He’s like the best singer I’ve ever known and he gives me good reason to think so.

What is it that people don’t know about you?
Back in Ghana, you hardly see me hanging out with any guy. This is because I’m always indoors even
when I’m not shooting a film or travelling out of the country. But here, in Nigeria, the reason people get so many stories to tell about me is that each time I’m in the country and they see me in the company of some of my colleagues, they will start drawing conclusions that we are dating. That has been my problem in Nigeria.

I cannot control what people say about me because I don’t live here. Sometimes, I need these guys to
take me around. In Ghana, I drive myself around and do my things in my own way and nobody says anything about me. It looks as if I can’t have friends any more. If anybody they see me with is going to be an issue, then there is already an issue. Am I the only person that hangs out with friends? All these things doesn’t disturb me either because I’m a free spirit. I think people should stop linking me with guys. I’m not hiding anything. If I have a boyfriend I should be proud enough to talk about him.

This method is the French restaurant style of mashing potatoes – it will give you perfect mashed potatoes with no lumps.

Peel and halve 6 medium sized potatoes and put them in a pot so they fill the pot about 2/3 of the way. Cover with cold water and add a very liberal amount of salt to the pot (you should be able to taste the salt in the water).

Bring to the boil and partially cover the pot with a lid. Depending on the
type of potatoes you use, cooking time can range from 10-20 minutes.

When the potatoes are soft but not falling apart, remove them from the pot and strain all the water off immediately. Put half to 3/4 of a cup of cream on the stove and bring it to the boil (as soon as it boils turn off the heat).

Place the potatoes in to a sieve (the same type you use for sieving
flour). Using a sturdy spoon, force the potatoes through the sieve – this is hard work but it is well worth it).

Once all of the potatoes have been
sieved, put them back in the pot and place this on a low heat on the stove.
Add a large knob of butter (30-50gms) and, using a wooden spoon, mix the butter in to the potatoes.

While mixing start pouring some of the hot cream in to the mix – this will help melt the butter and adds depth of flavor and creaminess to the mash.

Use only enough cream to make the potatoes in to a thick paste.

Add a good grating of nutmeg. Taste for seasoning and add pepper and more
salt if it is needed. Serve immediately.

Love Always
Sue

I have been off and on for the past two weeks due to one simple but difficult reason- lack of inspiration.

I have looked everywhere,I have searched everywhere,I have tried writing,I have even tried reading a book, and no I dint lose anyone(a lover,a friend),I had an amazing time last weekend and yes I love what I do,hell no,no criticism can get to me,because I believe I was born to motivate and counsel people.

But I think at some point,we all lose our focus, and trying to get it back becomes a big problem.-yeah that is it,I kinda lost my focus somewhere.

Maybe I need to get one of joel osteen's(my mentors) new book,or pray to God for inspiration,or rest more,*whew* I don't even know what to do. I don't want to sound confused or tired,no I am not tired. Or all I need is for a reader to send me an issue he/she is going through and maybe I will publish both the question and my response and make the issue the theme for the week.

Let me ask you guys a big question,
when you lose your focus how do you get it back?
If you missed the first part pls open the following link
www.ladysusanne.blogspot.com/2013/07/using-your-words-to-generate-positive.html?m=1

6. When out of earshot, speak the words aloud. Say the words from step 5 out loud. This may feel at first like the onset of insanity, but soon you'll be able to afford the best psychiatrists money can buy!

7. When you're down, use an affirming
statement. Whenever something irritates or depresses you during the day, take a deep breath and silently
pump yourself back up with an affirming statement filled with lots of adjectives and adverbs. Try, "I feel absolutely, amazingly, vibrantly healthy!" Notice how your energy level changes. It really does work!

8. From this moment on, before you speak, take a little breath, smile, pause and then map out your better
thoughts in stronger words. Just try it for a day and see how differently things work out for you.

9. Spend 5 minutes each day to declare good things over your life, you may be astounded at the results. Before you start your busy day, before you leave the house, drive to work,or take your kids to school, take a minute and speak blessing over your life.

10. You can write positive statements,so you have a record of them. Make a list of your vision and dreams, goals and aspirations as well as the areas you want to improve, the things you want to see changed. Always make sure you back it up with the God's word.

11.If you struggle with worry, start declaring "I have peace of God", "my mind is at rest", "I have relaxed and easy going attitude", declare by faith and use your words to change that situation.

12.If you want to know where you are going to be five years from now, listen to your words. You are prophesing your future,if you want to be stronger healthier, happier,if you want to break addictions, then start declaring it right now.

Love Always

The practice of homosexuality and its acceptance as an alternative lifestyle is becoming more prevalent in our society today. Nearly everyday we read and hear of things which indicate more people are accepting homosexuality as a normal behavior.

Now this brings me to my questions. Do you think homosexuality is generic or caused by environmental factors?

What really makes one straight,is it because you sleep with a man or a woman?

What really makes one gay or lesbian,is it because they are attracted to the opposite sex?

Is this an issue or lust or temptation?

Are lesbians/gays or bisexuals born that way?

P.s if you are gay you could comment as anonymous, let's discuss.

I will be following too.
Love Always
