President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, celebrates his 56th birthday today. Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON), and President, Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was born to a Niger Delta family of canoe makers on November 20, 1957. He graduated from the University of Port Harcourt, where he studied Zoology and proceeded with his Master’s and Ph.D degrees in Hydrobiology and Fisheries Biology, and Zoology respectively at the same University. In between, he had completed a mandatory one year of National Youth Service in Iresi, Osun State. Jonathan is married to Dame Patience Goodluck Jonathan, and they have two children.

Before becoming taking the main post in Nigeria, he served as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Governor of Bayelsa State and Vice-President. Jonathan was sworn-in on May, 6, 2010 as President. He is the 14th Head of State.

Mr Jiomh Ibrahim's Tax Fraud

Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim was picked in Abuja on the afternoon of November 18, 2013, Monday, and is currently under detention at the offices of the agency.

Mr. Ibrahim has been allegedly evading agents of the unit for some time, but he was eventually caught in his hotel room at NICON LuxuryHotel.

The suspect emerged into national prominence under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, where he was frequently described as an insurance magnate after a questionable sale of the state owned NICON insurance company to Mr. Ibrahim.

He subsequently became a player in the media industry through the controversial purchase of Newswatch magazine and also as a proprietor of Air Nigeria. An airline closed down last year due to safety concerns and Ibrahim’s inability to meet financial obligations to staff, lessors and maintenance engineers and aircraft parts suppliers.

After Mr. Ibrahim’s purchase of Newswatch, the original directors, including Ray Ekpu, accused Mr.

Ibrahim of hijacking Newswatch without meeting the terms of acquisition as a majority stakeholder.

His troubles in aviation sector came to light when the airline’s extensive violation of maintenance standards and financial fraud were disclosed. In addition to it, Aersale an aircraft lease company, sued him in New

York court seeking a huge payment representing Air Nigeria unpaid obligations under the term of the lease.

Mr.Ibrahim is known to have extensive political connection with former President Obasanjo as well top players from Goodluck Jonathan’s team.

D'Banj Private Jet will Land soon

In the Nigerian entertainment industry, there are no official owners of an expensive ‘transportation toy’.

The closest to purchasing the private jet was P-Square. However, the one they have started using several months ago does not officially belong to them.

As concerns D'Banj, he has hinted that he needs to get a private jet.

On Sunday, November 17, he was supposed to be at the wedding ceremony of Peter Okoye of P-Square, but missed it.

He lamented that if he had had a private jet, he would have made the trip to Nigeria from South Africa, where he performed on Saturday.

“This is the time I really wished I had that jet. I swear, whosover said it (having a private jet) was a luxury lied. It's a necessity and God go do am (God will do it).”

Rennes (France) (AFP) -Mylene Paquette, a 35-year-old from Quebec in Canada, on Tuesday made historyby becoming the first North American to make a west-to-east solo crossing ofthe Atlantic by rowboat.

Paquette set out from Halifax, Canada on a 7.31-metre (23-foot) boat on July 6. She arrived in the northwestern French port of Lorient on Tuesday evening after 129 days at sea.

"Finally it is over, because it was really an ordeal at times, I am just relieved that it is over," an emotional Paquette told AFP upon her arrival.

The 2,700-nautical mile journey crosses an area known for violent winds of up to 100 kilometres (60 miles) per hour and waves of up to 12 metres (40 feet).

During her journey the boat capsized several times, Paquette said, adding she was terrified after hitting her head and nearly passing out when her boat keeled over two weeks ago.

"I was also afraid of the cargo ships. They really came very close to me. Sometimes I was afraid of not seeing my family again, so I am really happy that they are here," she said.

Ten people had previously rowed solo across the Atlantic from westto east -- considered more arduous than an east-to-west crossing -- but none had been from North America.

Of them, only two were women -- Maud Fontenoy of France in 2003 and her compatriot Anne Quemere the following year.

Mike Tyson's Comments on his Childhood Upbringing

It has been nearly 20 years since Mike Tyson, now 47, fought his most violent -- and therefore memorable -- bouts. He didn’t wear a robe or socks when he entered the ring — all he wore was a mean face that practically said, “I can kill you with one punch.”

Tyson’s life outside the ring has been equally memorable and equally violent, and he has spared few details in his new autobiography Undisputed Truth.

Tyson’s mother was an alcoholic who shuttled him from home to home in one of Brooklyn’s bleakest neighborhoods, Brownsville. He thought himself lucky if the roof over his head had heat and hot water.

In an unguarded moment, Tyson confesses of his mother, “I wish I knew what to say to her to make her like me. I was never a good person.”

By age 7, Tyson had stopped attending classes, slipping into school only for the free meals. A savvy pickpocket by age 9, he was on the fast track to becoming a career thief, breaking into neighborhood apartments and walking out with cash, electronics and guns. By the time he was 12, he was arrested 38 times and, just as disturbing, he was illiterate.

“I was a criminal,” Tyson says. “In my neighborhood that made you a good guy — [being] able to steal money on your own without people helping you and take care of yourself.”

Being a neighborhood thief didn’t protect Tyson from being bullied mercilessly by older kids. He was small for his age, spoke with a lisp and was an easy target — at least on the surface.

“You just never forget that stuff, being helpless. And the only thing I had to do was hit them … I just never in a million years thought about hitting the guy.”

Sent to reformatory school at age 13, Tyson already looked like he does today — all muscles and a discomfiting laser-like focus. His speed and power as a boxer caught the attention of legendary trainer Cus D’Amato. Even though D’Amato knew he had a future heavyweight champ in his corner, he also knew that the neglect and abuse Tyson suffered as a boy could one day destroy him.

D’Amato told Tyson, “If you don’t face your demons, they’ll haunt you til the day you die.”

Tyson himself might say D’Amato was right when Tyson blew through the $400 million fortune he earned as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

“A lot of people had their hand in the cookie jar. I was getting sued for a lot of things. I was getting fined for a lot of stuff.”

Perhaps most costly of all was Tyson’s weakness for women.

“I had all these fake girlfriends. I probably had 45 girlfriends when I was married.”

Regarding Tyson’s first wife, Robin Givens, Tyson today alleges that Givens said she was pregnant only to get Tyson to marry her.

“She was never pregnant by me,” Tyson claims.

Convicted of raping a contestant for Miss Black America, Desiree Washington, some would think 1992 was the year Tyson hit rock bottom. He disagrees. Prison — far from being hellish — became a place where Tyson says he could be “free.”

“I was pretty much adapted to being there,” Tyson reasons. “All my life I’ve been institutionalized … I knew how to conduct myself in these places.”

Scarier for Tyson was the free world and the stresses of life he never learned to cope with. Though his post-incarceration comeback was successful — he won the WBA and WBC heavyweight titles in 1996 — the demons D’Amato warned about would come back to haunt Tyson in the form of alcoholism and depression.

His penchant for drinking returned 2-and-a-half months ago. “Hopefully, I won’t have to do that again. Before then, it was 4 years.”

It was well known that Tyson was prescribed anti-psychotics Thorazine and lithium to control his wild behavior outside the ring.

“I don’t take anything now,” Tyson says. “My wife got me off that stuff … I was 380 pounds and I had the zombie swagger.

“I grasped myself before I hit rock bottom. I had a few more overdoses in me. I had a few more unprotected sexes in me.”

Still, you probably won’t find Tyson resting at home with a quiet book. His one-man show found its way to Broadway last year and, like any engaging celebrity, he can still be found partying.

“I’m pretty much El Schmucko and I just wanna have fun and enjoy my life before I die.”

So what will Mike Tyson put on his tombstone when that day comes?

“I don’t want anything on my tombstone. I think dead people take up too much space.”

This informs the emergence of Kingsley Anaroke the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kings Communications Ltd., the Publishers of MMS plus weekly and Tycoon Magazine as the Transparent Personality of The Year in the top Celebrities Achievers Awards organized by the Top Celebrities Magazine and slated for Saturdays, 30 November, 2013 at Ikeja, Lagos.

According to the letter sent to the Transparent personality of the year, Anaroke was selected based on his contributions to the social and economic development of Nigeria.

In his usual humble manner, he had wanted to reject the award saying “It is not yet time for me to receive such an award” but was prevailed upon by the staff of Kings Communications Ltd and other well wishers to accept it.

This is a good beginning, more to follow in quick succession.

Shell’s claims on oil pollution in the Niger Delta are often untrue and deeply suspect-Amnesty International

Amnesty International has said that oil giant, Shell, manipulates oil spill investigations in Nigeria. It also said Shell’s claims on oil pollution in the Niger Delta are often untrue and deeply suspect.

In a new report published Thursday by Amnesty International and the Centre for Environment, Human Rights and Development (CEHRD), the firms said they have uncovered cases where Shell deliberately provided wrong information on the “causes of oil spills, the volume of oil spill, or the extent and adequacy of clean up measures.”

“Shell is being disingenuous about the devastation caused by its Niger Delta operations. This new evidence shows that Shell’s claims about the oil spills cannot be trusted,” said Audrey Gaughran, Director of Global Issues at Amnesty International.

Amnesty International said analysis by an independent expert revealed that official Shell investigation reports into causes of oil spills in the region can be “very subjective, misleading and downright false.”

The report shows difficult-to-ignore “systemic weaknesses in the way the causes of a spill and the volume are determined- with some significant errors in the volumes that are recorded as split,” the report noted.

In most cases, Shell does not provide evidence to back up its claims.

“Shell looks to blame others based on investigation reports that, in some cases, amount to nothing more than dodgy dossiers,” said Styvn Obodoekwe, Director of Programmes at CEHRD.

The independent analysis exposed Shell’s ‘cover-up’ was on the behest of Amnesty International and CEHRD and conducted by Independent US oil pipeline specialist, Accufacts.

For instance, Shell has been unable to present evidence to back up its incessant claims that most of the oil spills in the Niger Delta have been caused by sabotage of its facilities, the report stated.

“Shell looks to blame others based on investigation reports that, in some cases, amount to nothing more than dodgy dossiers,” said Styvn Obodoekwe, Director of Programmes at CEHRD.

Accufacts describes many of official investigations done by shell as ““technically incomplete”, and “appear to be serving another agenda, more driven by politics…than pipeline forensic science.”

“In one incident, secretly filmed video of an investigation shows how officials from Shell and the regulator tried to subvert the evidence by persuading community members on the investigation team not to attribute the cause to equipment failure,” the statement revealed.

Video footage of a leak from an oil spill in Bodo from 2008 reviewed by Accufacts shows that Shell seriously under-recorded the volume spilt.

Regulators appear to be hampered by inadequate expertise and fund to investigate the true causes and volume of splits.

In one case, regulators sent a student undergoing training as their only representative in an oil spill investigation.

“This is a system that is wide open to abuse – and abuse happens. There is no one to challenge the oil companies and almost no way to independently verify what they say. In effect it’s ‘trust us – we’re big oil,” said Ms Gaughran.

“Shell and other oil companies refer to sabotage and theft in the Niger Delta as if it absolved them of responsibility. The Niger Delta is the only place in the world where companies brazenly admit to massive oil pollution from their operations and claim it is not their fault.”

“Almost anywhere else they would be challenged on why they have done so little to prevent it.”

Oil communities in the Niger Delta have always been at loggerheads with Shell for the devastation caused by oil spills to arable lands and rivers. Shell has always insisted that it has nothing to do with the spill and has always blamed oil vandals and thieves for destruction of facilities leading to spills.

Last January, a Dutch District Court at The Hague dismissed all but one of the charges brought against Shell by local fishermen. The court exonerated the parent company Royal Dutch Shell of all blames for oil spills in the Niger Delta. It, however, ordered Shell’s Nigerian subsidiary, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, to compensation for a spill near the village of Ikot-Ada-Udo.

Last year the Federal Government asked Shell to pay $5 billion fine for the over 40,000 barrel Bonga Oil Spill. However, Last march the National Assembly recommended that the fine should be increased to $11.5 billion.

Shell said the fine has no merit as it is not to be blamed for the spill.

To become a success in life is not much of hard work but the application of the right principles. The successful people are not the most energetic but those that indulge more in mental assertion to achieving their objectives.

The scripture has a place for this assertion as it is evident in the life of David who was not much of a saint in the eyes of the public of those days because of his penchant for women and the likes but God did not see him the way men saw him when God referred to David as the man after His heart. David had a key which God could not resist, that is the key of quick and deep repentance from sin plus the key of praise and worship.

To become great does not require great things but great commitment to the ideals of greatness. Likewise to navigate the ship of an organization to greater height in life requires the application of the necessary principles that will help to achieve the desired results in such areas of endeavor.

Sometimes attitude, dispositions, character are some of the factors that determine how far a person can go in life in terms of career, education and what have you.

Wherever you find yourself, it is always a spring board to project you to where you are destined to be only if you are vigilant and patient enough to put on the toga of right mentality as your guide.

The above are not the total ingredients of success, a little of spiritual exercise will enhance its easy birth and sustenance. However, in any circle or field of endeavor, where one finds himself, to grow is not much of a mystery only if you identify and tow the path of the principles of success.

To be successful, you must enjoy your responsibilities. You have to love being a leader not for the sake of power but for the meaningful and purposeful impact you can create; you have to use your ability to save others and this cannot be accomplished except you genuinely enjoy what you do.

Success in life as it were, especially in your career, you have to properly allocate and deploy talent because your talent pool and how to use it, is germane to your success.

For any meaningful success to be recorded, positive energy and attitude should be created at workplace. You must know how to set the tone to bring an attitude that motivates others to take action and as such, you become likeable, respected and strong willed.

Always associate yourself with lifters and other leaders. Share the harvest of your success t to help build momentum for those around you.

It is important as well that you make decisions ad must help facilitate the dialogue to empower your colleagues to reach a strategic conclusion or you do it yourself. Focus on making things happen at all times.

A success-minded person is never a taciturn; you must be a great communicator especially in terms of performance expectation. Be mindful not to be garrulous in the course of communicating.

If all these precepts are strictly adhered to in the course of carrying out your assignment, you are surely climbing the ladder of success with ease and assurance that your feet will never slip. But how much of all these is put into consideration in planning the future of this country?

In a nutshell, the maritime prospect in Nigeria is dwindling as the rights things are not done leaving the sector in a state of uncertainty.

No tact seems to be employed in the running of the sector; rules are made but are never followed, committees have taken over the genuine intentions of doing things. More so, the committees have never proffered a pragmatic way out of the problems in the ports. In fact, the implementation of the recommendations of the committees is often short-lived.

Mr. Ziakede Patrick Apkobolokemi (ZPA), the Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) will be 3 years in office by December, 2013. Stakeholders in the maritime industry have been concerned about the seeming drift of the agency against its roles in the Act. Is NIMASA really drifting? This, may not be the true position of the agency, hence the question: Is the DG a success or failure in his 3 years in office? Is he a sinner or a saint; what are his achievements in the industry? Is the industry worse of or better off?

NIMASA And Blackmail Against the Media (1)

It is not surprising to hear that the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency(NIMASA) doled out N25 million to a group of journalists in the maritime industry, what is astonishing is that some NIMASA officials now claim the agency was blackmailed into providing the fund, for which purpose is not clear.

Followers of development in NIMASA know that there was no blackmail anywhere rather they were driven by many factors made up of personal and official.

One is that the Negotiator who secured the approval from the Director-General, Patrick Apkobolokemi has equally bargained for a good percentage of the funds with the journalists, who are helpless and were actually dying to have it, irrespective of the sum left.

The Negotiator assembled some of the “Criminals” the Ex-NIMASA, DG, Ade Dosumu used in the system, to get the approval from Apkobolokemi. Dosumu’s era in NIMASAS witnessed unprecedented unethical activities in the history of the agency. These are smart guys, who have perfected how to package phoney jobs and secure approval from a CEO; these are the boys working with the Negotiator. It is on record that this is the single largest money ever given to a media group in the history of NIMASA. The Negotiator is equally a man given to fraud, a factor that led to his forced exit from a previous place of work. Despite these records, NIMASA employed him to man a strategic position that sees him shuttle between Lagos and Abuja on weekly basis.

One other driving factor for the N25 million is that Apkobolokemi hands are badly soiled. By December 2013, the young NIMAS DG will be three years in office. No success story can hardly be ascribed to him except that some thousands of Niger Delta youths have been granted opportunity for training abroad under the Agency’s Nigerian Seafarers Development Programme (NSDP). I stand to be corrected! I challenge NIMAS to a debate on its achievements as envisioned in the Act in the last three years.

It is on record that the policing of the waterways to fight crude oil theft and piracy for which the nation’s resources are being wasted into the private pockets of some militants is a sham. Facts abound, but this is a story for another day.

To show how he runs NIMASA with some intelligence that smacks of a re-think, Apkobolokemi who got rattled by a report in Vanguard on how the Cabotage Vessel Finance Fund (CVFF) has been abused, called the reporter and issued a mixture of warnings and threat: “You think that thing you are writing will pull an hair from me? It will not do anything to me. You better be careful. Be mindful of your career”.

Why does Apkobolokemi need to call the reporter if he is not troubled by the report? In this job, when a journalist states the truth, it is blackmail. When you are neither cold nor hot you are a friend of the house. But with this, the journalist in you is on a flight, meaning that you are dead, professionally. This is what NIMASA wants to achieve with N25 million greek gift to a group of journalists, who certainly cannot boast of N15m at the end of the day because it is a means of settlement.

Have we paused to ask one question: There are over 200 Journalists in the maritime industry, yet it is still grossly under reported? Many crimes are taking place in high places, nobody sees and writes!

At events, meaningful questions are not asked. And if you dare ask probing questions, professionally you are tagged enemy of the agency or institution.

Apkobolokemi has questions to answer on many things in NIMASA but he is being shielded away from the true media people in the industry. This justifies the N25 million.

Osun State Magistrate Court Arraigned 2 Men for Raping A 13-years Teenager

Two men were brought before an Osun State Magistrate court.

These two men, Azeez Kehinde, 20, and Adeyanju Ismail, 23, allegedly raped the 13-years old, simply identified as ‘Pepeye’ in the Ikirun area of Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State.

The young men waylaid the teenager at night in the Igbo-Ile environs of the area and proceeded to forcefully indulge in intercourse with her.

According to Vanguard Newspaper Report:

The police prosecutor, Mirette Wilson, a Police Inspector told the court that the two accused men committed an offence contrary to and punishable under sections 516,358 and 360 of the criminal code, cap 34, vol II, laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.

When the plea was taken, both kehinde and Ismaila, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against them.

Counsel to the accused persons, Mr. Adedokun Tunde applied for the bail of his clients, praying the court to grant them bail in the most liberal terms as according to him the accused persons were ready to stand their trial before the court.

He also presented an affidavit sworn by a member of the family of the accused persons to the court as evidence that they were willing to stand their trial.

The Police prosecutor who did not oppose the bail application told the court to use its discretion in granting the accused persons bail.

He, however, applied to investigate the authenticity of the affidavit submitted to the court.

The presiding magistrate, Mr. Olusola Aluko lamented the involvement of young men in criminal activities especially the rate at which females were defiled in the state which he noted had contributed to the congestion of the state prisons.

He granted bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till 6th of December, 2013.

Egypt has ordered Criminal trial of four Police Officers that Killed 39 People

There is going to be an urgent criminal trial of four Police officers charged with killing 39 members of the Muslim brotherhood after they were detained in August, ordered by Egypt’s prosecutor general on Tuesday. The general prosecution and a security source said.

The Islamists died after tear gas was fired into the back of a police van where they were being held. The four policemen have been arrested and charged with murder and unintended injury according to the security source.

“Investigation has proven that the officers transported 45 prisoners inside a transport vehicle that is not suitable to carry more than 24 people and fired tear gas inside… (This) led to the death of 37 prisoners and the suffocation of (two others).” The general prosecution said in a statement.

According to the interior ministry, the prisoners were trying to escape from the vehicle as it was transporting them to jail and they had also taken a police officer hostage.

“The prosecution has been investigating the incident since the seven involved police officers in three private sessions”, the security source said.

Speaking ahead of a European Council meeting Thursday and Friday, Letta said chronic instability in Africa and the Middle East meant the disaster earlier this month, in which as many as 550 migrants drowned, would not be the last of their kind.

“No one should be under any illusion that these tragedies are passing episode or that they will end with the arrival of bad weather,” he told the Italian Parliament.

Italy last week stepped up naval and air patrols with four patrol ships, long range helicopters and unmanned drone aircraft to spot migrant boats in southern Mediterranean. It has been offered some bilateral help by Finland and Slovenia but Letta said a more concerned EU effort is needed.

Nigeria’s good showing the 2014 World Cup qualifiers and some of the high-grade international friendlies played by the Senior National team have combined to push up Supper Eagle’s FIFA ranking for October released on Thursday October 17^th 2013.

Eagles who are African champions move up three slots from the 36^th position they occupied last month to 33^rd in the global ranking.

However, they are still behind Algeria ranked 32^nd despite the fact that the North Africans dropped four places.

Elephants of Ivory Coast are still Africa’s top rated side in the 17^th position, followed by Ghana in 23^rd place, before Algeria and Nigeria in that order. Mali in the 41^st position completes the list of Africa’s Top five teams in the FIFA rankings for October.

In the African ranking, the Super Eagles retained their fourth position of last month behind Algeria’s Desert Foxes who are third. The stars of Ghana who move up a place are second with Elephants of Ivory Coast retaining the number one spot. The Ivoirians are Africa’s best in the 17^th place globally.

The October ranking saw the Eagles garner 724 points which is an improvement from 707 points of the September rankings.

They are expected to improve their rankings next month when they host Ethiopia in a world cup play-off return leg in Calabar.

Spain remains No 1 in the world with Argentina, Germany, Italy, Colombia, Belgium, Uruguay, England, Netherlands and Switzerland completing the top 10 in the World.

New Album-Kcee, Dr Sid

Two popular Nigerian acts, Kcee and Dr Sid have made known their intentions to release their new albums. While Kcee has fixed his release date for November, Dr Sid has released the cover and track listing of his album but yet to make the release date public.

Kcee’s album titled take over is the singer’s debut album after breaking up with his partner; Presh. The album will contain some of his pre released singles which include Limpopo, Pull over, Okoso and few others.

Dr Sid has titled his own album, siduction. The singer said the title of the album, siduction is an infusion of his personal into the word “seduction and is defined as the art of charming someone and appealing to their senses through Dr Sid’s music”.

The album which has the production imprints of great producers such as Don Jazzy, Baby Fresh, Altims and Blayze Beats features special guest appearances from Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Emma Nyra, Ice Prince and Alexandra Burke.

Dangote Elder Brother Alhaji Garba Dangote is dead

Business Mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has lost his elder brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote, who died on Thursday last week after a brief illness.

Confirming the death of his brother, Dangote said that his death came vary suddenly as he suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday, and gave up the ghost some hours later.

The late Garba, 80, was a businessman and the first son in the family.

Dangote confirmed that his brother was buried in accordance with Muslim rites on Thursday in Kano.

The elder Dangote is survived by a wife and children

Oronto Douglas Sister Kidnappers Demand N500 million Ransom

The abductors of Mrs Augusta Douglas Ayam, sister to the Special Adviser to the President, Documentation and Strategy, Mr Oronto Douglas, have demanded N500 million as ransom.

She was kidnapped in Bayelsa State by unknown gunmen.

The abductors made the demand when they eventually contacted the family.

The kidnap occurred almost one year after the burial of her father at which the former Governor of Kaduna State, Mr Patrick Yakowa, and the Former National Security Adviser to the President, Gen Andrew Azazi, lost their lives in a helicopter crash.

A family source said the kidnappers called with a Glo mobile number to make the demand.

Police spokesman in Bayelsa State, Mr Alex Akhigbe, confirmed the latest development. He said the police were doing all they could to secure her immediate release without harm.

Traders Protest: Tell ASUU to call of Strike

Market women stormed the National Assembly protesting that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Should call off its more than three months old strike. The protesting traders were under the aegis of National Market Women Association.

President-General of the group, Mrs Felicia Sani who led the more than 200 protesting women, said: “We are tired our children at home. We want our children back in school. Enough of this cheap blackmail.

Asked why she did not criticize the Federal Government for failing to reach an agreement with ASUU, Mrs Sani said “which agreement? How do you expect lecturers in state Universities to earn same salaries as Federal ones? That is impossible.

“We are not educated but you do not expect a hotel in my village to cost same price as a hotel in Abuja”

“They are located in different places so how can a state university lecturer earn same salary with his Federal counterpart?
