Ever since Google started paying web-masters a share of their revenue for money generated by the adds placed on their sites. Web designers have tried many, many ways to bring people to their websites in hopes they will click on the ADS, or search on the Google search box they posted. One way was to start a blog, and go to other blogs to entice people to visit their blog so they can be exposed to ads on their site. The other way is to pay other web-masters to place an ad on their website, by utilizing Google Ad words. Thats right Google makes money every time someone advertises with them. If your hosting these ads on your site Google will share a piece of that revenue with you. That's right, its an endless cycle of what you could call "a cross referenced advertising feeding frenzy!"

Mark E. Zuckerberg who is considered to be the founder of Facebook. He originally created it to communicate with his college community at Harvard.
It was eventually named "The Harvard thing." It grew so fast he enlisted the help of his roommate Dustin Moskovitz. They first spread it to, Stanford, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell and Yale. Then to other schools with social contacts at Harvard. Now Zuckerberg is no dummy, so to capitalize on his creation he placed Google Ads or Ad-sense as its referred to, to generate revenue when people using his site clicked on them.
When I first started using the internet I couldn't figure out why someone would spend the time to publish free information for their readers......
Web-masters are always trying to find ways to get more traffic to their sites so they can get more clicks on the posted ads. What better idea than Facebook's concept of people connecting with old friends? Thats right, "Sign up with Facebook to find your old buddy from grade 6 or the girl you use to have a crush on back in the 9th grade!" Facebook goes from hundreds of users all the way up to 100 million users. Nows the time for that old cliché "Why the didn't I think of that?"

133,623,529 North American visitors per month, and thats only 29.5% of the total active users!

Now don't get me wrong, Facebook is a valuable tool if your a social networking fanatic or simply wish to find old friends, and they have the right to make money from what they offer us. However did you ever wonder what they do with all the data they collect from us? Picture this:

Mr. Facebook is sitting in his shiatsu back rubbing computer chair sipping his $1000 bottle of 30 year old single malt Scotch when he gets a call from the F.B.I. or the R.C.M.P. They tell him they need some insight on the Lost Doctor" Its a matter of National Security!" Heres what he sends them:

Think of all the negative possibilities people can do by just looking up someones name on face book. Granted, you can limit the amount of information they see, however how many times have you accepted a friend just because your single and spotted a pretty girl whos status is "Single, looking for man." Lets face it this is a "Social" Networking site. Or maybe you just want as many friends as you can get! Some one in my family once asked me to join the "Are you related" application I chose not too. Not because I'm not proud of my family, simply because its none of Face book's or any one else's business!

Heres a worse case scenario (if you watch the Sopranos you will like this) Lets say some distant (so distant you never knew existed) relative you just connected with on Facebook is a notorious drug dealer who "screws" his biggest supplier down in Panama!
Well he pissed that very dangerous "slime ball" off so much, he decides to kill his entire (I mean entire) family before he gets him!
Gee aren't you glad you confirmed your related now?????
Like I said: Worst case scenario!

When I first signed up with Facebook, one of the steps was to give them my email account password. I didn't fill that spot, instead I clicked on the very tiny "skipthisstep" link. Even after I confirmed my identity by responding to the email they sent me, I still had to fill out one of those very annoying, "type what you see" messages every time I sent a message! OK your probably asking, "Whats wrong with giving Facebook my email password?" Heres the first reason: Most people don't change their passwords to their accounts because it makes it easy to forget them. Not to mention, its not that important to encrypt ones email account, or is it?

OK, OK! heres another one: In their read-me section after you sign up they say: "Never give your passwords to any one, ever!" Isn't that a hypocritical statement?

Lets say 30 years from now Hate Crime Laws make it an indictable offence to make any derogatory remarks about any race, punishable with Life imprisonment!

Now I cant stand those "How many ________, etc, etc..." jokes, especially when one with such a limited imagination they feel compelled to tell you every one they ever heard and don't stop even when you ask them to!

Sorry for going off an a tangent.

Seriously though, how many times has someone said "There was a Jew, a Hindu, a Buddhist and a Catholic, etc, etc..."

Now imagine this if you will: Someone reports you to the "Internet Police" because they saw you and your buddy commenting one of those classic jokes. Because of this new law they ask Facebook guy for your email and password because your under suspicion of Hate crimes (just a simple allegation) and they find not only a couple jokes you were sent or maybe you forwarded to someone else and used this as evidence against you as a "racist" or "hate monger!" I'm sure you catch my drift...

I use to use the Facebook AP on my Black Berry, but when I last updated the software they asked me to check off the options I wanted. Well the options I didn't want (which were all of them) still showed up in a surprising manner....One day I got a reminder of a webinar I supposedly scheduled to watch from someone I've never heard of before. This appeared as though I scheduled it on my calendar! I did no such thing...I promptly deleted the Facebook AP from my Blackberry and will never use it again. The only reason I haven't cancelled my Facebook account is because I wanted you to read this!I hope this all makes sense to you and I would love to hear your opinions on this matter. Mel Brown, Blues Legend from the Mississippi Delta reluctantly left us!

October 7, 1939 a baby named Mel Brown was born in Jackson Mississippi. He like many others in the world fell in love with the Blues! The difference is Mel lived and breathed the Blues... He has played, toured and recorded with the biggest names in the music industry. B.B. King, T-Bone Walker, Snooky Pryor, Bobby Bland, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Lee Hooker, David Bowie, Dr. John, Sonny and Cher, Waylon Jennings and Willy Nelson. Plus many more. Jimmy Hendricks once told Mel: "Your a good guitar player..." Many of the "Greats" stayed at the Brown's house because African Americans were not allowed to stay in hotel on the Mississippi back in the 50's. When Mel was 16 he headed for L.A. but was humbled by the competition in the big city. He returned to Jackson and practised hard for another 2 years before going back to L.A. Between 1958 and 1967 Mel played with several bands. Johnny Otis, The Olympics, Etta James, Sam Cooke, Pee Wee Brayton, Johnny Guitar Watson and had steady work as a session musician. One night T-Bone Walker heard him playing at the Sands Club in L.A. and invited him to play on his next album. A studio executive was so impressed he Signed Mel Brown to his own deal with ABC/Impulse records and he recorded his first album called "Chicken Fat" That album is a classic of all blues guitar fans! In 1975 when playing in Denver Colorado, Mel met Miss Angel who became his wife. I've never met a more unified and happy couple! In 1983 while heading the House band at Antoine's in Austin Texas he met Glenn Smith from Kitchener Ontario. He was in Texas scouting for artists to play in Kitchener. When Glenn opened "Pop the Gator" in 1989 he asked Mel if he would be the house band. When Mel agreed he settled in a house in downtown Kitchener on Cameron Street! This did wonders for the credibility of Glenn Smith as a club owner. "its like having a baseball team and saying: 'Guess what, we have Micky Mantle now!" says Smith. Mel hosted weekly jams at "Pop the Gator" and musicians would line up for a chance to share the stage with the Great Blues Guitar Man. Mel was a Big Boy, a gentle giant if you will. Every time B.B. King played at LuLu's he asked Mel if he would play to. One time when Buddy Guy was playing at The Centre in the Square. He told Mel: "Its just you, me and B.B. left now" The first time I met Mel was when my mother was having a yard sale. Mel came up to me and asked me how much the organ was going for. He's also a piano player. I told him how much it was and he asked me if we have any guitars. I showed him my dads Gibson J-45 and he played it. My dad asked him what his ring meant. It had a big M. and B. He said, "I'm Mel Brown" He loved my dads guitar and wanted to buy it, but my Pop said, "Sorry, its not for sale." The same has been said to any musician who has ever played it... My dad Gerald, had to leave us in 2004 and his prize possession, the "Soul Explainer" to my deserving brother Jason.

The last time I spoke to Mel, he and Miss Angel his adoring wife pulled up in front of the house when I was cutting my Mom's lawn and asked me with a smile only Mel could make... "Wheres that old guitar?" I told him "Its not here any more my brother has it...." I asked him if he and Angel could make it to the Huether Jam afternoon. Unfortunatly for me I became ill never was unable to experience that pleasure... :(

When can I say... Mel Brown is a great man with a big heart and the Blues came from his core. When a musician dies my musical friends and I must endure a special pain because we lost one of our family.

On March 20 2009 we lost our Grand Father!

I keep an ear open in my dreams for Dad, Mel, Stevie Ray, Jimmy H, and every other great that ever played!

Let Google Pay for a Cure Updates

Ever since I started this "Convoy to Cure" search page I have been trying tirelessly to create awareness for it. I have had some success, however most days I feel like I'm spinning my wheels... In other words, there aren't too many searches being performed on the page. This may be due to the fact a couple months ago my server host updated their web site builder and it when it was initialized it totally wrecked my entire site! Most of the pages worked partially, however the search page went totally blank. I'm sure this lost me quite a few users...I know many of you use this page only for an occasional search because you would prefer to make MSN or Yahoo your home page because it has news feeds, etc... on it.
Ive been trying to keep this page as simple as possible, just like Google's search page is. If any of you would like me to add any thing to it such as "news feeds", weather or even games just let me know by emailing me. Come on, I'm waiting...

There are over one Billion internet users right now and every one of us has to use a search engine to find what we are looking for.

During the whole month of November 2008 the ones that used my page performed 205 searches which lead to only 6 "click throughs." A "click through" is when you perform a search and click on a website link to browse their site) This generated a whopping 16 cents for the cause!!!
Those 6 clicks were probably for low paying websites and it was more than likely information searches.
If people actually complete a purchase from a site they visit, that site will pay Google more money, which means Google will share a bigger piece of there revenue with us!!

My friends I will never give up on what I'm trying to accomplish, however I'm getting really tired.
Many I personally have said "I'd like to help but I can't spare any money, or I've already given."
Other times I've said. "I would love to volunteer, but I can't find the time!"

Well, I found a way to eliminate these obstacles and now, SO HAVE YOU!

Hi, my name is Bryan Zettler

will answer! But if for some reason I don't please leave a message

If you've ever been in MLM (MultiLevel Marketing),
then you probably didn't do so well. As a matter of fact, I'd be
willing to bet it was a complete waste of your time and money. I
know. I've been there. And the reason most people don't do well
at MLM is because of the "Old School Way" of trying to
promote the business, and that way just doesn't work. Almost everything
you've ever been taught about building a network marketing business
is pure BS!.

There are millions of web pages that give a huge spiel
of lies to get people like you and me to sign up under them in their
MLM business with promises like, "Anyone can do it", or
"It's fully automated", or "Financial success in
30 days working just a couple of hours per week", or "We
will build your downline for you", blah blah blah. Then, as
soon as you join, they get their commission and move on to the next
prospect, leaving you in the dust to fend for yourself. And when
you ask for help they tell you, "Just show the movie, the system
sells itself!" or "Buy leads, they will get you a ton
of sign-ups!"

I have news for you. MOST LEADS DON'T WORK! Not in
any mlm business. At least not the leads you buy. And with GDI,
neither does the movie. I have had some sign-ups as a result of
the movie, but it takes a lot of people to watch it to get any results.
I averaged about 1 movie view from every hundred leads that I entered
into the system, and out of every hundred movie views, I got 3 sign-ups.
So for me, buying leads from GDI to enter into their own system
was a TOTAL waste of time and money.

If the GDI system worked exactly as it's supposed
to, it would be the fastest and easiest money making opportunity
on the net. It would truly be a get rich quick plan, not scheme.
The automation of the system and the idea behind it is ingenious.
The problem is, for me, only three out of every hundred people to
watch the move actually got convinced that the system really works.
Then they learned after signing up that using the system the way
GDI teaches, in order to get that many people interested enough
to watch the movie took more work and money than they had to invest,
so they fell off the band wagon and went looking for something else.

Here's how the GDI
system works:

1. You click on a link that takes
you to a page where you see a ticket that you need to fill in to
gain access to the movie. It asks for your name, email address and
phone number.

2. You then click on the "Let
Me In" button, and it takes you to the 7 minute animated
movie, which really is pretty cool because the characters in the
movie actually call you by name (or the name you entered into the
ticket) and they explain how the system works and how you can make
tons of money with little or no effort at all.

3. You then get an email from an
auto responder asking how you liked the movie, and then tries to
get you to sign up.

4. The person who owns the website
(everyone who signs up for GDI gets the same websites and movie
to show) will then get an email from the system telling him/her
that you have watched the movie and to contact you immediately.
Fortunately the only person to see the contact information that
is entered into the ticket is the person who owns the website. No
one else gets the information.

5. You would then continue to get
more emails (if you didn't sign up) trying to convince you to sign
up.

All of what happens above is totally automated, and would work perfectly
IF ONLY everyone would believe that the system works as easily as
they say it does, but they just DON'T. Even though everyone gets
a full seven days to try the system at no charge and with no obligation
to stay, in my estimation, only 3% of those who watch the movie
will actually give it a try. Not very good odds at all.

$300,000 to make, just click on the link below and fill out the
ticket. Everything they tell you about how you make money with GDI
is true, but they still throw in some words like, "No Selling",
"No Investment Required", "Make Money Immediately",
"Never Speak to Another Person", "Simply Buy Leads",
etc... ( Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't buying leads considered
an investment?)

The ticket is mine, so I am the only only one that
will see your information. If you want to use a fictitious name
and email address that's fine. But if you want to see the "Autoresponder"
emails, put in a real email address. The emails will appear to be
coming from me, Bryan Zettler, but THEY ARE NOT FROM ME! They
will be coming from the system. I have absolutely nothing to do
with them or what they say. There is a link at the bottom of every
email that you can click on to have your name removed from the system
if you don't want to receive any more emails. You won't receive
ANY spam, I promise.

As I'm sure you noticed, some of the testimonials
on that page were telling the same spiel such as, "This business
sells itself", or "No selling involved", or "The
movie does all the work" etc.. You get the picture.

Now, if you'll also notice on the above website, below
the big red Sign Up button it says, "Have
questions? Email your Sponsor (Adelina Gaviola)" That's my direct upline sponsor, and if you sign up you will have the exact same
page with your name on it to show to others. BUT! I never use that
page to try and get people to sign up under me. Why? Because of
the hype. It's all part of the system, and the system doesn't work
nearly as easy as they claim. Like I said, I averaged about 3 signups
for every 100 people that watched the movie. Hello!?? Do you know
how hard it is to get 100 people to watch your movie? By going that
route and working my tail off, I was getting about 1 person a week
to sign up, and not very many of them stayed on after the seven
day free trial. WAAAYYY too much work for what you get.

You can get people to sign up by telling them the
same lies, but why waste your time if you know they won't stay?
When they come in to your business expecting the system to start
building their down line for them, they will be very disappointed.
It's hard to keep someone on board if they aren't making any money.

Ok, now I want to show you a page that I created myself,
and believe me, I was really quite proud of it. When I was promoting
this page, I had no idea how many lies I was actually telling. I
was doing everything my upline was telling me, because I believed
them. I was even getting some sign-ups with it, but most of them
didn't hang around, because as their upline, I was telling them
the same thing, "Just show the movie", and it isn't that
simple. It wasn't until I read The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing that I realized why my
business was failing. Also, some people choose domain names for GDI like:

"realeasymoney"

That in itself is a lie, because every successful
business takes work. As I'm sure you are aware, there is no such
thing as "Real Easy Money" or "Getting Rich Quick."

GDI pages. The stuff they tell you to say. The hype that gives false
hopes and inevitably disappoints.

So, is GDI a Scam?

With what I've said so far, you probably think I am
trying to convince you that GDI is a scam, and you can't make money
with it. That's not at all why I am telling you this. GDI is an awesome opportunity, and I am getting people to
sign up under me almost daily. But, I DON'T USE THE SYSTEM
TO PROMOTE IT! Using the system gives too many false hopes.
When someone signs up believing the hype that says, "It's Totally
Automated - That Means: No Selling" then their life with GDI
is short lived, because they expect way more than they'll ever get
by using the system. And when they ask their up line for help, they
are told to market their new business the "Old School Way"
which consists of the above mentioned hype plus the following seven
great lies of network marketing:

Lie #1. Everyone is your prospect!

Lie #2. This really isn’t sales. We just
share products with people.

Lie #3. Anyone can do this!

Lie #4. We’ll build your business for you.

Lie #5. We have the best product ever!

Lie #6. You just don’t have enough belief!

Lie #7. The proven system.

If you've ever been in multilevel marketing, then
you know you were told these exact same lies by your upline, and
you were probably even guilty of telling them yourself.

GDI is an Excellent
Opportunity!

GDI is just as good as the next multilevel marketing
business, but believing in the "System" is why people
fail. And until you get rid of the "Old School Way" and
learn what really gets people interested, and how to truly build
a massive down line by teaching them how to succeed, then MLM is
not for you, whether it's GDI or any other.

GDI Fact or Fiction?

26 Years ago, I had to go under the knife for re constructive surgery for my right hand after I damaged it with my Hunting Knife. The night after my Pre-scan blood test before surgery, I ate my last worry free chocolate bar and non diet soda pop. You see, the hospital called my Mother because my blood sugar was extremely high so they needed to confirm it. After they took my blood again, the doctor came back and told me my blood sugar was 38.9 normal blood sugar is 5! I remember what I said, "Cool you mean I get to take needles now?" So far to date about 40,000. After my 2 week stay in the hospital, Thank God I was released from that because even though I fell in love with 2 of my nurses, I was glad they weren't taking blood from me 8 times a day! Today I think they just prick your finger. Which I've only done about 30,000 times. When I got home I became a Model Diabetic when it came to Management. I weighed about 130 lbs when I got home. One day at school my English teacher Mo Targoz showed us the new Gym that was paid for by our production of "West Side Story" He explained what the "Clean and Jerk" competition was so I tried it. I was able to reach 185 lbs, when I only weighed 130. Within 6 months I weighed about 190 lbs of mass muscle! I didn't have to try out for the 10 000 lbs Club because Mr. McDonnell counted my reps the one day when I wasn't paying attention. My accomplishment in Body building created such an immense sense of Self confidence. I ruled every thing I did except my school work.... In my second year of Summer School I was a young Conan, and I don't mean Conan O'Brian...! Every one seemed to want to be my friend, even my English teacher commented on my confidence and my physical tone when she was grading me on my Public Speaking. You see public speaking was not one of my strong points and that made me nervous which caused me to pump up like a body builder before going on stage. This is the year Van Halen did "Hot for Teacher" and my English teacher was HOT and she winked at me when she said I was "Fit"!! Imagine the fantasy that created!
My blood sugar went low a couple times at St. Jerome's, however not extreme. One day at Summer School because our class was over extended for a reason I cant remember exactly. Any ways my blood sugar bottomed out really bad. I never had an insulin reaction until this day... I was 17 years old and didn't have the Donald Trump outlook on life. As far as I was concerned my life was bankrupt...
Unless a diabetic keeps their blood sugar at 5 to 8, 24 hours a day our organs and nerve endings become severely compromised as time goes by. I was in denial for many years when it came to my Disease. My kidneys are now at risk, so I have to take an Ace Inhibitor or blood pressure medication to reduce the pressure on my kidneys. With out this they could sieve to the point of Kidney dilation! Even though I am fortunate to have diabetes over cancer, or any other terminal disease. The complications of diabetes can result in just about any major illness known to Man! The Canadian Federal government after many years of lobbying by the J.D.R.F. Has finally agreed to fund insulin pumps and the resources to operate them. The fact it would cost about 1 trillion dollars a year to give it to every one. Only Type I diabetics under the age of 18 qualified in the beginning. This is because they want to give the Youth a better chance at a balanced physical and emotional life! It will also save on the Health care system in the future. It is now available to everyone! Let me tell you something most people don't know. I know for a fact that a Mother or Father in my case when given the choice of buying a months supply of blood testing strips or baby formula... The decision in that case would be the baby formula, it was for me because I would rather risk my health than guarantee my child's demise! Diabetics that don't have drug benefits and have a hard time making ends meet don't use an insulin syringe once then destroy it. They reuse it a few times, or many, many times!!

Three years ago I became active in fund raising for the J.D.R.F. by donating an elegant fountain for their Silent Auction, pledges for their annual walkathon and their awareness campaign at The Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Diabetes research is close to a cure, however even after they perfect islet transplants they will still need funding for those transplants! I have come up with an idea that will make Google pay for a cure. My friend Bugs Bunny will tell you about it:
