They can be like little sponges to stress, and other feelings. They'll always find a way to sneak into your heart, and make you love them! They're daytime animals, so they're on relatively the same schedule as you! Once you get them used to you, just take them out anytime to pet & love them! If you have patience, you might be able to get your little friend to perform 'tricks', or other fun things.
Guinea pigs are almost, if not as smart as rats. Train them to run mazes, and other interesting things, too! Just a warning: they don't do very well under stress.
Guinea pigs do not bite if treated rightly, but when they're insecure they may bite to hold on to something!
Cons: You can't just get one guinea pig, That will leave the guinea pig alone, and stressed. ALWAYS get two guinea pigs, if not more! Guinea pigs are very social animals and need companionship. Just a warning: I suggesting getting females, because they won't fight, like males may occasionally do. Also, guinea pigs cannot be potty trained. Hay, pellets, and bedding may end costing a little bit of money, and then the toys that you should get them may cost some money, too.
General Info:

Guinea pigs are herbivores.

They eat hay, pellets, vegetables, fresh greens, and grass

They must have hay 24/7

Fresh greens and vegetables are a daily must

Pellets must be in a not-tip-able bowl 24/7

Guinea pigs do NOT like you giving them baths

Guinea pigs easily get heatstroke

Remember water!

horse n kathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06343451569937430359noreply@blogger.com0
