High volume of traffic is not the key, if the user bounces, your
website has probably failed. Driving relative traffic to your site is
vital for your Business. Have in mind that only 0.5% to 8% of the
traffic is converted in to sale. The average is around 3.5%.

You want traffic or sales? Consider the quality vs. quantity of your visits and plan your next step.

In order to achieve your targets you need to:

Lower your Bounce Rate

Get more Relative Traffic in your site

Convert this traffic into sale

In this article we will study 8 simple ways to increase your Traffic:

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Start an SEO campaign to promote your site in the Organic Results of
search engines. Find the current SEO Status of your site by creating a
full Web SEO Analysis.
The structure and the content of your website is the key factor of
your Search Engines performance, keep it clear, valid and friendly to
the users and to the Search Engines as well. Based on the results of the
report consider doing the following: Redesign your site in order to
make it search engine friendly, make a keyword analysis for your web pages and optimize them for the correct keywords, build quality links with the correct anchor text and submit your site
in all the major search engines. Remember that Search Engine
Optimization equals quality content and not tricks, black hats or magic.
If you need a strategic plan don’t hesitate to search for a reliable consulting from a professional SEO agency.

2. Link Strategies:

Having quality links is the Alpha and the Omega but it is not an easy
task. Note that the reason why someone links to your website is the
quality of your content. High PageRank links with relative to your
content keywords can affect your Ranking in search engines and bring
lots of Relative Traffic to your site.

As we know, we never had software (in Linux) which can Create, Open and View AutoCAD (*.dwg) before, but try this, this is an answer for engineering who appreciate of using OpenSource software or run all kind of Linux Operating system in their desktop
This software is provided, in a beta version, for 32 bit architecture.

Do you have a 64 bit Operating system? No problem: following 3 steps we can install it on a 64 bit machine.

1.Install the two missing dependencies:

sudo apt-get install libdirectfb extra libxcb-render-util0

2. <a "target="_blank"" href="http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/download-draftsight/">Download .deb installation package and move your DraftSight.deb file to your home folder /home/yourusernamehere.

3.Then you have to force install the DraftSight package:

sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture DraftSight.deb

If dosn't work, after you install all dependencies mentioned above (that is libdirectfb-extra, libxcb-render-util0, libaudio2) you should install Draftsight using the following command:

sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture,depends ./DraftSight.deb

E voilà!

Enjoy it!!

Other Enhancements

Add "Smiley Face Curve" default equalizer

ArtworkManager: add --fetch-artwork argument

MiniMode: Reduce height of window

Support .spc files

Set UserAgent when doing MusicBrainz queries

Get info from the database or the file when opening a URI

Remove keyboard shortcut for toggling scrobbling

Cache the ArtworkID in the database for faster startup

Various enhancements to our experimental GStreamer# backend, bringing it
close to feature parity with our current C backend. It is still not
built by default and not recommended for daily use, but testing is welcome.

Note:
The Banshee, from the Irish bean sí [bʲæn ˈʃiː] ("woman of the síde" or "woman of the fairy mounds") is a feminine spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld.
In Irish legend, a banshee is a fairy woman who begins to wail if someone is about to die. Similar creatures are also found in Welsh, Norse and American folklore. Sightings of Banshees have been reported as recently as 1948.
The GNOME Project is an international community that works to make
great software available to all. GNOME focuses on ease of use,
        stability, first-class internationalization, and accessibility.
GNOME is Free and Open Source Software. This means that
all our work is free to use, modify and redistribute.
Based on user feedback, lots of small changes have been made to give a
smoother experience in GNOME 3.2. Some noteworthy highlights:

It is now easier to resize a window as the area for this has been
          increased.

System Settings now includes links to
related settings found in other locations. For instance, the Keyboard
section now has a link to the keyboard layout.

Titlebars, buttons, and other controls are less tall, making it easier
to use GNOME on small screens.

Notifications in the lower-right corner now include a counter.
This makes it easier to see how many emails are waiting for
you without having to open your email program, or to determine
how many messages you have missed in a particular chat.

The highlight effect that indicates that an application is already
running has been made more obvious.

In the user menu, notifications can be configured
          independently from the chat status.

The workspace switcher in the overview remains expanded by keeping its
full width displayed when you are using more than one workspace.

          Instead of assuming Evolution, the
application for the calendar drop-down can now be customized.

The battery power status is now shown using a bar.

          Focus-follows-mouse
handling has improved, though more work is needed.

There are a whole slew of developers writing amazing and practical
code and there are thousands of public code repositories on sites like
GitHub. Meanwhile, the rest of us are content with just cutting and
pasting the code of these industry geniuses.
For the majority, it seems that true coding has become a lost art.
Almost every project, it seems, now uses some sort of library/framework
or contains a heap of plugins.

It’s rare to see any front-end coding project truly start from scratch anymore.
In this article, I thought I would give some somewhat off-the-wall tips on improving your skill as a front-end coder.
These tips will likely not be used when coding paid client projects
where time and budget are factors. These are tips that we can put into
practice in our own personal projects or in our spare time to try to improve our coding abilities and problem-solving skills.
While I do think the tips below can contribute to a developer becoming a stronger coder, they may not always be practical.
Installing TweetDeck on Ubuntu 11.04 on a 64bit system it's easy: follow these instructions!
The guys at Twitter (recently bought TweatDeck) have made a Linux version available here.

This is great and works perfectly if you have a 32bit system. If you, like myself, have a 64bit Linux setup, you have to manually install Adobe Air.

Below is a step by step guide on how to go from zero to TweetDeck in 2 minutes:

1) Download Adobe Air for Linux

We have to unpack the .deb and recompile it into 64bit architecture:

2) Go to the folder you have downloaded the file into (default is /home/username/Downloads). 3 3 3

3) Create a temporary directory to store the files in, run the following commands:

a. mkdir tmpfolder

Extract the .deb file to the tmpfolder directory:

b. dpkg-deb -x adobeair.deb tmp

Extract the control files:

c. dpkg-deb –control adobeair.deb tmp/DEBIAN

Change the Architecture parameter from “i386? to “all”:

Repackage the deb file:

dpkg -b tmp adobeair_64.deb

You are now good to go! You can install Adobe Air by running:sudo dpkg -i adobeair_64.deb

Now that you have the Adobe Air installed, you can go back to the TweetDeck website and the Flash site will be able to automatically determine your Linux OS and in a couple of seconds – you will be have your TweetDeck installed on Ubuntu 11.04 after the installation has run its coarse.

Happy Tweeting!

Why Web Developers should use Linux

There are many reasons why working on Linux has advantages, but for web
developers, it should be a no-brainer, but just in case you really
need reasons here are just a few of the main ones.
The main feature Linux boasts that makes it better suited for web
development over any other Operating System is the fact your local
apache server has the same setup as your live hosting.
Even without
this, the benefits of using Linux over Windows or Mac OS are massive.
