The direction was given by the owner of the flat who bought some furniture at a furniture fair in Verona, Italy, so that the designer had to include these pieces into the interior. She made the whole tone very bright and active so that the objects would look harmonious. Black color is one of the main shades, it’s combined with bright red and silver tones. I’ve never seen anything like that! This is one of the most incredible and unusual tables in the world! The Entrapment Table by Misha Kahn is made with strands of glass fiber plastic woven into the table top and the same strands below, baked, supporting it. The pattern on the surface of the table is based on an American Chippendale tray stencil but, to my mind, it reminds of some national Russian art like gzhel or maybe a pattern of a Persian carpet. The embroidery in the tabletop serves as the footing for the twin-twex fiber, which is woven through some 2,000 holes to make up the patterning. The table top is made of Ash, and is ebonized and burnt, with a bleached laser cut inset. Any unusual or art deco interior will be decorated brilliantly with the help of such a table. The Honiton House by MCK Architects is a wide-open abode that combines the best of refined elegance and pure fun.

Abundant sunlight floods every corner of the home, bringing out the warmth of the rich natural woods that act as a recurring feature in almost every room. The designers chose to use textures and patterns to soften the white interior of this contemporary space – decorative ceilings, lattice screens, and repetitive fixtures are found throughout the house and add a spectacular sense of individual character.
The use of bright, vivid colors of rugs, pillows, paintings, and decorative elements (especially in the beautiful family room!) make for an especially crisp and exciting atmosphere.
Our favorite touch is definitely the spidery black chandelier hanging from the double-height ceiling of the entertainment area. It looks great with the shocking orange rug and clean natural stone – what a masterpiece of modern composition!
